This is a unique experience in dining with an authentic Italian feel and homemade pasta. Intimate meal in this small but perfectly formed restaurant. Cannot fault it in any way as a couple who appreciate that something different and special quality that make a meal an evening to remember.

Six friends visited for an evening get together to celebrate the recent Birthday of one of our party. We had no idea what we would be eating as the owner chef Erica decides on the day. We had a choice of three different starters. Mine was delicious and the other choices looked equally as tempting. Erica makes all her own pasta. I chose pappardelle with a mushroom and cream sauce. There was also pappardelle with fresh vegetables and the last option was cannelloni, served with salad and fresh bread. Pasta Gusto doesn't have an alcohol licence, so we took our own refreshments. We had a choice of two desserts, again it was difficult to make a decision, I went for the ice cream cake but the tiramasu looked delicious and those who chose it declared it tasted excellent. The premises is small and it feels like you are eating in the chefs private kitchen, very informal and reminds me of places in Italy and France. All the food is freshly prepared by Erica who is passionate about good quality Italian food. We would visit again, booking advisable and she only takes cash.

We had a really lovely meal: the freshest pasta with homemade pesto. Topped off by a delicious canoli! By far the best lunch I have had in a long time. A fantastic, friendly, cosy atmosphere with amazing chef too

Honestly so lovely. We arrived in the open, light cafe and were greeted by a friendly owner ready to serve us a fresh, real Italian meal! We had appetizers and fresh pasta (made in front of our very eyes!!) The whole thing just seemed so honest and personal. Having a chat with the owner and getting to know her was lovely - not a 'fast' food experience whatsoever. It was also such good prices for utterly fresh delicious Italian food - you'd expect to pay much more in some places. I would recommend this to anyone who resents a culture of fast food and impersonal service - but rather wants to have an uplifting and unique food experience - for such a reasonable price.

Having visited at the weekend, It was a very pleasant experience. The welcome was exceptional and the food was very tasty. The sage butter pasta is very good. It is a small venue but very nice. The price is also very good. They do not serve meat but it is not missed at all.

Visited Pasta Gusto last night. The owner made fresh pasta for whilst we watched and enjoyed our appetizers of olives, homemade dough balls and fresh pesto which was to die for. You can take your own wine too which is great!!! A fixed price of £25 for 3 courses. 2 choices for each course. Not a place for anyone who can't manage without meat though but we loved it!!

A friend and I went here last week and had the most delightful lunch. Erica the patron makes her own pasta in front of you while you’re having a coffee. There are a number of sauces. I had the home made pesto and my friend had butter and sage. The pasta is served with a couple of slices of focaccia bread really lovely. We followed that with a slice of Pear cake. Whilst we were having our lunch Erica was really busy with takeaways that had been ordered. I would thoroughly recommend this little gem. It’s quite small, 12 covers, so it would be best to book. It’s open daily 10-5

This place was disappointing to say the least! I went to collect a bag of mixed end of day pastries to receive four dry hot cross buns. The description given was “ a variety of different end of day unsold foods”. A false description and therefore a dishonest place.
