Very busy place, great dog friendly spot with a decent coffee

Small, but great food, good service

Had the special of the day, brisket toasted sandwich with gravy side dipping pot, will definitely be going back

So much flavour and originality with their food, delicious hot drinks, the daily side salads are so worth it

There is special magic in this general location, it's good, and it follows the special people who work here 😙🌿🫒💦🌕. My biggest upset is when something isn't done right, because those doing it, don't care ... but I can assure you that this is a special place, it reassures me that all the bright shining stars haven't left the UK quite yet. A japanese visitor would be pleased with the quality, and standards of this beautiful inspirational space... and I know japan is used to a culture of high standards, and taking ownership of every single little thing done in the service of others.... and I can truly say that the magical team here, bring this to every place they go.

10/10 - amazing cafe with friendly staff, great coffee and a wide range of GF/VE options. Somehow lived in Aberdeen for 10 years without knowing it was a few streets away from me! Only thing I'd suggest is perhaps some more privacy between each of the tables and especially the ones beside the queuing area - more greenery on the glass screens maybe?

Woah! This is absolutely fantastic and a gem of Aberdeen. Parx set the bar VERY high as our first visit in Aberdeen. Great atmosphere, lovely and really friendly staff and the food is DELICIOUS. Gluten free options available, I highly recommend the breakfast burrito. Price wise it's great (especially if you're from Edinburgh!) Coffee was delicious...just 10/10 for everything! Keep in mind it's popular so there is likely to be a wait!

Food is really good and there are so many vegetarian options. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but other than that I would recommend

My new favourite café. The food is amazing and the staff are really nice. If you want to sit in, then be prepared to have a small wait, but it's worth it.

In Aberdeen only part of the year.. this is our first choice for coffee and breakfast or lunch. The coffee is very good, food generous and tasty. Selection of produce to buy .. bread, yogurt, eggs and more…Saturdays are incredibly busy, very often no room at the inn!

A cosy cafe with good food and some nice vegan options. The Kuku hash and salads were lovely. Will try more dishes next time. When we went was quite busy with a long queue and a bit chaotic atmosphere though.

I love Parx cafe, firstly the people that work there are wonderful, so accommodating and friendly and I love that after I had been there twice I was greeted by my name each time and now they treat me like a welcome friend. Love it. Secondly but as importantly, the food, I love it, its my home away from home (which is Sydney Australia) fresh, tasty, beautifully presented, healthy, for the most part and obviously delicious. My favourites being the chicken poke bowl, the quiche and the porridge, truly fantastic. Love you guys and will miss you when I return to Sydney :)

We’ve been coming to Parx for years. The staff are lovely and friendly. The food is great especially the All day Burrito, yoghurt and granola. Parx also do the best Lattes!

A wonderful breakfast spot in Aberdeen serving great coffee and superb breakfast/brunch options! We enjoyed a loaded bap and burrito. Both tasty, well presented and the perfect start to a day. Top marks!

Lovely little café tucked away in Rubislaw Terrace. Friendly staff and delicious wholesome food and drinks with extremely generous portions!! Came here for breakfast with family and had the pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup, and a mocha with oat milk. Also tried some of the breakfast burrito which was amazing!! The fruit juice had by other members of our group was super fresh and tasty too! Thanks Caitlin who was our waitress that morning!! 😊

Great hidden gem of a Cafe in Aberdeen, best part of being on holiday is the getting to find these types of little unassuming places. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Service was efficient and delightful. Top two of coffee I have had in Aberdeen. It's not massively obvious when walking past but that does not stop it being a very busy little place, clearly popular with the locals!!!

My coworkers have been recommending this place for ages but I only visited today. Now I know I’ve been missing out! The salads I ordered were amazing, probably the only place in the area that serves salads that aren’t smothered in a litre of mayo and have fresh veg in them. Will definitely be back.

We had breakfast, the burrito and the pancakes, both were delicious! Coffee was also very good and would definitely come back here. It's first come first served and it gets busy so arrive in plenty of time before you are hungry. Worth the wait though

Sensational flavours, the kindest staff, feel-good vibes. Very reasonably priced too. The raspberry cheesecake brownie is amazing, thought not quite as good as the cinnamon swirl blondie -which is something I’d happy die for. The all day burrito is one of the few things that fills me up without leaving me feeling bloated. The on/off menu Korean fried chicken is god tier!! So is the katsu curry! I could go on, everything is great! Helen is a fab chef and Kirsty -the owner- a wonderful host.

So my first visit was quite successful, which I can't say about my second time that happened yesterday... ordered avocado tostie. There was no avocado. Stuff offered to redo it, I said it was OK, they offered to reimburse which I also refused. Sounds great so far, no? Later waitress approached me and insisted on reimbursing lack of avocado in toastie, which I finally agreed. Today check my bank account and see, instead of "reimbursed" I was additionally charged..... I mean, I don't think it was intentional, but just this is too much for me you know....

Rightly, very popular, but perhaps too popular for its own good? 40 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon.

Lovely space for lunch. Was very busy at around 12:15, and waited a while for food (10-15mins). I think it shows that it is a great place, if people keep coming and are willing to wait. Personally, I enjoyed the vibe of the place. Nice to see lots of different drinks available - I love soda folk! Great job! I’ll be back to show my friends and family!

One of the best cafes in Aberdeen. The breakfast burrito and the mojo sauce is unreal. And the cheesecake brownie is really good. Highly recommend!

Staff are incredibly rude and not friendly at all. Food expensive and portions are much smaller than they used to be.

Would give it a zero if I could. Middle aged assistant is really rude and unhelpful. Makes you feel uncomfortable. (Have been on 3/4 times and the same women always has an attitude). Come here if you want attitude. Will never be back and have passed feedback onto Friends and family. HORRIBLE PLACE. Avoid at all costs.

Yum! Tasty food and good coffee!

The food was fantastic, the presentation and taste was delicious. All dishes were ready within an appropriate time range for a busy Saturday. Reasonable prices for a tea/coffee and served in a large cup. The chai latte was spiced and served hot and creamy, exactly what you want! Overall eating experience was ace. However, no obvious indication in a clear signage of the seating routine and queuing. Upon entering I was met with a bubbly busy cafe, but landed myself in one of the many queues, where other customers were confused and agitated on who was first in line. Additionally it was unclear if the seating was 'seat yourself' or if an employee would seat you. I had the luck of finding out that the employee's perfer to seat customers themselves, by the person at the till raising their voice at me to not sit at a table, in front of everyone in the cafe. Completely unprofessional and off putting. At that point I was keen to find somewhere else to eat brunch. The menu was the only thing that made me stay, and fortunately it was worth it! Also could you please add table numbers so when told to be seated at a specific table the customer can easily identify for example when you say sit at table "5".

Loved this place. First time eating breakfast in Aberdeen and glad we came across this hidden gem. Met with a friendly lady who recommended the burrito (which was yum) also ordered a scrambled egg roll with 2 hash browns , pancakes, fresh juices & avacado on the menu. Delicious food ! Fast service , fantastic location & clean toilets . And there is parking outside. If I ever visit Aberdeen again I will definitely be eating here :)

Parx has a perfect bit of everything, great atmosphere, delicious food (always fresh and blends of flavours) and very friendly and attentive staff. Have to shout out their fries and raspberry chocolate brownie; top tier! Parx is a regular for me.

Fantastic all day burrito. Good flat white. Place gets very busy during breakfast time. You may need to takeaway or sit outside.

Nice cafe with an interesting menu however the service is really bad and the stuff are rude. Despite visiting the place quite a view times because it is close to my office, the service was always cold and they make you feel like they are doing you a favour. (With a sour face) Whenever you ask something slightly outside the menu (small adjustment) nothing is ever possible like they are preparing a 3 Michelin’s star meal through the back! Simple things like even refilling the water, was a big task for them! (Had to ask 3 times) Absolutely not going back and will spend my money elsewhere. With this approach eventually people will get fed up of the bad service and stop coming.

Cannot recommend the "KFC" burger enough! Phenomenal food, and great service.

If you have 20 quid, come with a friend, and order water.

Excellent coffee in the west end of Aberdeen! They also do really nice food, although we only had coffee this time. The small outdoor seating area at the front is one of the best places to sit and relax with good coffee.

Busy on a Saturday but for good reason. Excellent quality food and drink. It's a bit small so hard to take children when it's busy but the staff did well to accomodate.

Amazing bacon and egg roll, good size portion and perfectly cooked, will definitely be back to have this again and try other things on the menu. Everything here is worth trying, it's delicious, flavours so well balanced. And still fabulous with amazing specials that are always very tempting.

Terrible service, Terrible Food We were visiting Aberdeen and Parx cafe was recommended by a friend as it is dog friendly. Unfortunately, the female staff member who greeted us was quite rude, unpleasant , judgmental and bigoted. This person was an older local woman with short dirty blonde hair who seemed to be the manager. When we arrived there was one person in front of us. When it was our turn, I asked the woman whether we ordered at the counter or waited for table service- she said there is a queue and that we should go back to the end of the queue. Surprised, I replied there was no queue when we arrived- while we were waiting to be served people had arrived after us- but it was upsetting that she assumed we had pushed in in front of these people. Later, she made other rude comments- when I asked if it was ok to take water from water made available to all customers- she said yes, but don’t take the cup! Why assume that I would take a glass cup ?? When I ordered a takeaway cappuccino, she asked for my first name and from her facial expression it was clear she expected a ‘strange sounding name that was difficult to spell’. It was clear she was making judgment based on our appearance from her own small village bigoted frame of reference. What an absolute unpleasant experience- as for the food, we ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup- pancakes were dry, bacon was far too overdone. The food is overpriced and really not nice. I would avoid- terrible food and terrible service.

lovely food and good location, however the staff were rude and didn’t attend to us when we first came in — we felt ignored. They didn’t assist us with ordering and did not provide relevant information on whether or not it was a table service basis or ordering at the till. Overall they acted snappy and cold and there was also a clear change of tone and favouritism when it came to regular customers vs newcomers. Such a shame, as the food was nice and quite reasonably priced for a central cafe setting.

It's a shame this place isn't on a regular route anywhere for me because it has been amazing every time I've been in. Great staff, lovely coffee, nice bright seating, lovely fresh food!

If you want just basic food that’s tasty and quick then this isn’t the place! This place is trying to be something it’s not which I feel the chef is trying too hard to come up with a simple menu that ends up complicated cluttered and nothing compliments anything. For instance I just wanted a cheese and ham toastie with fries ( seen in the photo ) these aren’t fries they are badly cooked wedges and the toastie had cheap cheddar cheese with one slice of ham. We waited around 15 minutes on our food aswel and 2 toasties with 2 cans was £19!! Staff was rude aswel in my opinion so I won’t be back

Amazing breakfast/brunch spot in Aberdeen.

It was my first time at Parx, decided to go for early breakfast. delicious coffee and good choice of food. There is plenty of on-street parking. Place itself is not so big but done nicely inside and staff provided good service too.

Decent food, good atmosphere and great for a lunch meeting

Got a scone and a white Americano to take away. Scone came with a little packet of butter and jam but no knife so not sure how I'm supposed to put that on. Scone is also pretty dry so it really needs it. Coffee was not very strong, too much water and they charged an extra 50p for a splash of oat milk. I get it if you are making a latte or a cappuccino but 50p extra for an Americano seems a bit steep.

One of my favourite spots in Aberdeen. A great location to sit in or take away to the park and they often have art work from local artists on the walls to enjoy. The food is always the best, highly recommend the breakfast burrito!!!

Food is really good. Lots of options. Lattes are balla as well. Just felt like was being rushed to order that didnt have time to think about it, but there was probably a lot of orders to get through at the time.

Breakfast Burrito is the bomb! Everything tastes fantastic & fresy which was really reasonably priced. Super welcoming staff and an amazing chef. Always a stop for when travelling up north.

Well organised during current lockdown restrictions. Join the queue, someone will come outside to take your order, name and card only payment. Then its easy to find a socially distanced space to await your order. They will come out with your food/drinks. I had the Breakfast burrito which was fantastic. My wife was just as pleased with her choice of Kuku. I think its an Iranian egg based dish? Would highly recommend 👌
