Always love it here, cannot go wrong with the meal deal at £3.95. I would pay that for the cake alone! Friend staff and good food, what more can you want.

We have ordered from Parsons a few times using Uber Eats. They’re sausage baguettes are lush! Their sausage rolls are also delicious!! Highly recommend!

Absolutely terrible!! 4 “rustic” baguettes. Absolutely nothing rustic about them. Uncooked part baked baguettes that are certainly nothing like the advertising pictures!! Trish assures me that they were cooked for 13 minutes, however, I’d suggest that they were only cooked for 13 seconds - enough to defrost them!! Head office in Bristol didn’t want to know, just wanted to continue the cycle of passing the buck. I’d recommend avoiding this place like the plague!!

A busy lunchtime with queues & there was only one assistant serving, hence a queue, while two gossiped out the back. One did finally stick her head round the corner to bark there should only be 2 customers in the building at a time then went back to her gossiping. The girl in the till was nice but was new & couldn’t answer a simple question about the goods on offer, a bit of training might help. A shame as holidaymakers probably stop here - a poor introduction to Abingdon.

The products are very good. The staff very friendly. The meal deals excellent. The coffee is excellent. There may be queues at lunchtime - it is a popular. Their sourdough bread is my favourite. Prices are very reasonable. In December, they do a great "Christmas Dinner Pasty"- it is something to look forward to. There are great deals on coffee and cakes after 2pm. Seating is limited inside due to Covid restrictions. There are seats outside. It is in the main shopping street in Abingdon with great views locally and near the river.

Avery good place for value and quality. My gripe is, they run out of bacon and sausage before 10am every day so many customers miss out on a sarnie!

Unpretentious, cheap and cheerful, with nice veggie sausage rolls! I came in sweaty after my run for coffee and snacks, but was made to feel welcome. There was a lovely community atmosphere inside. The staff happily filled my water bottle. The meal deal seems really good value £3:50, since the cakes and sarnies looked really good- will be back!

After a few hours of walking the banks of the River Thames popped into town fro some refreshments. Found this little gem serving excellent coffee for a £1. Being the afternoon an after 2pm cakes were being sold off for 95p. Excellent choice all very tasty. It was busy but service was quick, friendly, pleasant and polite and very efficient. They were provding some excellent choice of recipes in the sourdough bread range plus I picked up a very handy info card they had produced all about how sourdouh is made and why, etc. Would use again when that way.

Long wait. Young girl working alone- didn't even look old enough to work on a school day. Although her body weight may not have screamed health. The coffee was decent enough for £1, and got a Luke warm pasty for £1.50. You pay for what you get. Cheap!

Called in as passing through Abingdon. Good tasting coffee for only £1. I also had a lovely cake which was only 0.99p. The choice of pasties looked good as well. All cakes are only 0.99p after 2pm and any pasty for £1.50. Really good value, good food, great customer service. It puts Costa coffee next door to shame. I’ll be back.

Popped in for a takeaway coffee, cake and loaf of bread about 2.30 so not lunchtime rush. Was second in the queue after a couple of ladies who had 4 drinks, 2 sandwiches and 2 needing to be heated. I waited for ten minutes behind these ladies who were already being served when i entered, soon a large queue behind me. Two women serving made me want to serve myself before i expired, Awful service, coffee not amazing, real shame as there is a costa coffee next door, always great service in a timely manner and many other places to choose from in abingdon.

A cheap snack shop with a small selection of stodgy cakes eg a bun with white sugary icing poured over it like a cement mixer and a tiny piece of glace cherry on top! etc and standard greasy hot pastry goods like sausage rolls pies etc plus little bottles of water and so on. It competes with Greggs across the shopping precinct. A few tables and chairs outside.Very small inside. The floor was dirty and grubby with lots of visible crumbs etc on it. Popular with less demanding customers who don't care about quality but to foodies pretty anathema! 2 Staff women were quite busy and there was a waiting line of 4 customers in front. Very poor looking, cant understand why people eat here and not at home or better. MIght fill your hunger if desperate! The Precinct outside is pretty rough with under privileged children and single parent type looking mothers noislly shouting and running around all the time out of control!

It's an okay bakery, better than the others in Abingdon. I loved the apple-cinnamon-doughnuts, but, sadly, they don't seem to do them anymore. The selection is (for German standards) not amazing, but good enough. I know some people love their stuff. They don't do soya milk - which is - these days - appalling. I've asked, but they didn't even give me hope :(I like their lunch baguettes. May daughter goes there nearly every lunch break for the meal deal.I wish I could take my dog in, as I can't see a reason why not. If i could I could spend some lunch breaks with my daughter. The staff is very friendly, but a bit too much use of the terms of endearment ;) I personally don't like to be called 'darling' or 'sweet'.

I was out with my mum today and noticed this new bakery so thought we would give it a go. As i'm a student, i was looking for a decent priced sandwich and drink; this is where i found it!I walked in and was soon greeted by the ladies behind the counter, i went over to the sandwiches a realised how inexpensive and large they were. The sandwiches are all wholegrain, the baguettes were the really nice, soft kind and they also had paninis. All were stuffed full of fillings. They have a large selection of cakes and also have pasties or sausage rolls! They have an very good meal deal of £3.50 for a drink, sandwich and a cake. This is perfect for the student i am :) I will definitely recommend this bakery to my college friends.

Thought we'd give the new place a try we like to support local businesses but what a mistake. The 2 girls serving didn't appear to have much of a clue as to what they were doing spending the 15 mins or so I waited just niggling at each other. 1 dropped the food hence the long wait. The cakes are under glass but uncovered & nothing stopping wasps getting in the staff seemed unaware or not bothered. Staff were brusque & moaned all the time I was there. When we finally got the food 2 coffees 1 bacon & 1 sausage sandwich they were cold & way too much sauce. I didn't complain but was rudely offered a free cake whilst waiting. Avoid go elsewhere there are plenty good quality places in Abingdon to get food from!

We called in here as I’d never been and thought we’d try it out. We ordered two cheese scones with butter and two coffees and sat in the garden. Our very small scones arrived before the coffees, We thought as we buttered our not very cheesy cheese scones that the butter had a strange texture, the coffees were very small and not that hot. As we sat chattering I noticed on the butter wrapper, ‘use by 6/6/23’ The date of our visit being Monday 19th June!! My friend caught the attention of the waitress and told her we’d just eaten two weeks out of date butter, she just said ‘Oh sorry, I’ll tell the kitchen’ We sat for another 15 minutes half expecting maybe a further apology from the kitchen but nobody came near us, so we left having spent £12.30 on two small un-cheesy scones, stale butter and two small warm coffees. Obviously there won’t be a return visit.
