We had the best fish meal we have ever had!We had Devon crab and the prawn croquettes that were phenomenal and the miso skate and the Lyme bay schnitzel Our favourite was the miso skate that was sweet and savoury and fell off the boneI would rate the food as Michelin standard for a fraction of the Michelin costThe best value food in London by far and we will definitely be back again soon

Almost perfect. Fish was superb; cheese and dessert great; service attentive. Slight negatives? Sparkling water was warm and no ice. Jam served up with the cheese surely came from a jar of Robertsons?

First time at the restaurant, but definitely won’t be the last. The food was absolutely delicious, staff lovely and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

We visited early evening after having had drinks at 10 cases an excellent wine bar diagonally opposite that is owned by same company. The service was very friendly , the ambience was very relaxing and the food superb. What more could you ask for ? Highly recommended we will be back !

Fantastic little seafood joint. We shared oysters and a selection of small plates, including smoked salmon, crab on crispy seaweed & trout tartare. Every mouthful was delicious. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely return, great meal!

We came across this little restaurant in London, outside of the usual busy area of Covent Garden and my goodness, it was amazing! They managed to fit us in for a quick snack before a booking they already had scheduled, the service, food and atmosphere was fantastic. We had oysters which were delicious and the anchovies too, with a Bloody Mary each which was made to perfection! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you again!

Wonderful food, as ever. Beautifully cooked and presented fish. My scallops with devilled eggs were a delicious combination and my whole sole was perfectly grilled. The sides of french fries and salad were also top class. The service was excellent - quick but relaxed. I always look forward to coming to Parsons - well done all.

Absolutely lovely place. Food and wine were delicious as was the service. Didn't have a main, just had a few small plates, but we had such a lovely time. If you want a unique, low key, but buzzing atmosphere this is your place to be. Will definitely be back.

FOOD POISONING!!! I visited the restaurant with 2 friends on Saturday 25th of November and all 3 of us got severe food poisoning from the oysters. We were vomiting for 2 days straight and 9 days later we still can’t eat properly or even go on about our daily lives. 100% do not recommend. They should be checked by health and safety professionals before offering another dish.

I felt compelled to write this review because I was so appalled by the disgusting service we received after this establishment had long been recommended to us by a dear friend. There was an incredibly arrogant and obnoxious French waitress, who clearly thought she was above the job, who was rude to us from the moment we sat down. We had done absolutely nothing to upset her - and considering the cost of a meal here, we did not expect to be treated with such disdain. When we politely complained to the hapless manager, he did nothing about it. Moreover, we did not wish to press further because this difficult woman was serving our food and could have done anything to it. In hindsight, I regret not walking out at the very beginning when encountering this type of atmosphere. Save your money and go to J Sheekey or Scott’s. Both the food and, suffice to say, the service is considerably better. I will never return to Parsons on principle. I spent almost £200 (for two people) and left feeling aggrieved.

Okay, I know good restaurants but this gem 💎 in Covent Garden is superb. The food is very very good but the service is exceptional. I had tonight an oyster 🦪 out of the twelves I order not looking so good. Replaced immediately by one of the two amazing Claires working there with the cutest dish for one oyster. I am in retail and service. Parsons is way on top of the best restaurants in London. The gluten free menu is very large and precise. One feel safe and that is important. All in all a perfect evening. I saw this restaurant on Tic Tok and decided to try it. Our server Manon was fun and informative. She handled the man begging the customers with grace he walked away with respect. MANAGEMENT qualities all the way. Oh the oysters were DELICIOUS.

Nice meal, with reasonable prices for Covent garden. Wine list was interesting, not a list expected but more “wow didn’t know they did wine”. We opted for a nova scotia Sparkling, was good enough. We would go again

We ordered the mussels and when the plate came, we thought it must be a farce! we add about 10 mussels in which 2/3 of them were empty Very pricey for little food! Having said that the tiny portion was very good. But won't go again!

We were looking for a good independent fish restaurant and this one showed every sign of tickling all the boxes but sadly it ailed to deliver, for us anyway. We both chose the potted shrimp fritters which, quite honestly, were beyond the boring and mundane. They tasted like something from an Iceland special offer. perhaps four for a pound, instead of £9 for a portion of three, served with no hint of a garnish or a sauce to break up the monotony. Neither of us could be bothered to eat the full portion as it would have just been eating for the sake of it. In fairness, they did deduct one portion from the bill. The mains were better. My wife had a fillet of, I think, sea bream, served with heritage purple potatoes which she enjoyed and I had the steamed fillet of trout served on cabbage which was arguably faultless other than being devoid of flavour and being dry (quite an achievement with a steamed fish). The carafe of wine was reasonable and the filtered water was appreciated. I was inclined to deduct the service charge but the service had actually been quite good, as it should have been when there were three waiting staff and four clients. We did not stay for desserts or coffees which we had elsewhere and which was equally dismal - just not our day! We came away disappointed, not angry, as we had been bemoaning the absence of a good niche seafood restaurant. Were we unlucky? Did we just hit the place on the wrong day? Other reviewers were ebullient in their praise and that is how we wanted to feel.

One gripe is the way the oysters are shucked, little shards of shell are left and served, in the oysters. Didn't realise this until I ate one. This is bad when your seafood comes with bits of shell in it. Disgusted.
