I an a 65 year old woman and this is what happened to me by one of the bouncers really nice man NOT, he was verbally abusive and because I'm not soft and argued with him this is how I ended up. I wouldn't go there if it was the last place on the planet. I can't seem to post the picture but I have a huge bruise on my chest were I was manhandled by him

Staff friendly and very professional nice bar

Mistreated by a bouncer 7 Aug outside the bar (1145-12am?). No reply from Parnells. Reported to SIA authorities & they are investigating. I arrived with a friend, and he was informed he could not come in as it was required to book in online. We waited for a few minutes ,then 4 girls appeared outside clearly informing everyone outside they had not booked and were allowed in. I politely challenged the bouncer questioning if we could come in and why these 4 girls were allowed in. He immediately responded by being verbally abusive, swearing, adopting physical aggression, then pushing me and provoking me. I did not reply by being aggressive in any way verbally or physically despite provocation. I attempted to resolve the situation verbally but the bouncer became more hostile. The other bouncer was in agreement with the other as he was also aggressive. I have been going to parnells for 15 years-last boxing night was an amazing night there. Will never return. I wasn't drunk and was mistreated. It was distressing, infuriating, humiliating and puts me off ever revisiting the bar. It was an amazing night there on Boxing night and I had good memories. I know COVID is difficult for people and possibly bouncers with new rules and how clients are etc but this is no excuse. Never had a problem like.this with a bouncer in 15 years of going out. I I recently moved back to Liverpool and was out to enjoy myself after a busy and hard week working in a hospital and did not need that. "The law does not allow doormen to engage in excessive force or violence as they see fit. As a rule, bouncers can only use force if someone uses it against them in the first place. These bouncer rules and regulations fall under the right to use self-defense in the United Kingdom" why did they both break this clear rule -unprovoked?

South roads premier location. Staff brilliant and drinks are reasonably priced and the manager Farley is so helpful
