Fantastic tapas. Chef was more than happy to discuss the ingredients as we are interested in cooking. Great atmosphere- can highly recommend this restaurant.

We were so pleased to find a Tapas bar in Ludlow and one that was open on a very wet afternoon in August. We should have been more curious as to why we were the only people there…. Be very cautious if you visit - go and take a look upstairs at the disgraceful toilet which is situated next door to a chaotic-looking kitchen. Wish we had done that first. The food was a terrible attempt at Spanish cuisine - possibly equal to something you’d get in a Brit bar in Benidorm but certainly not Spanish. I was so surprised to read some very good reviews subsequent to our visit - but on closer inspection many sounded a bit too similar and if you go back far enough you’ll see a number of mentions about the upstairs area and the disappointing food. This establishment was given a Food Hygiene score of 1 last month!! (You can look it up on Scoresonthedoors).

Delicious tapas. Very good service. Good value. Fairly small, very nice venue. I had the rump steak skewers with a slightly spiced chilli sauce that went so well together. Calamari and white bait also excellent. Desert was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Tucked away behind the high street in Ludlow, this little restaurant is a real find. This was our second visit in about 6 weeks, and we haven't run out of tapas to try yet! We ordered small to start with, then added more tapas as we went along. Everything arrives freshly cooked, and the quality of the food is excellent. Goos selection of wines too. Thoroughly recommend - just wish we didn't live several hours drive away!

Tapas was fantastic, the wine was great, for a few hours we thought we were back in Espannia without the hate of tourists. Just behind our hotel the Feathers. This is definitely worth another visit. We were only in Ludlow for one night. So pleased with our choice of restaurant. Food and service were excellent and I was delighted to see that they had a free range chicken dish. I highly recommend this restaurant to the point that, in planning a future trip, I’ll definitely include a stop in Ludlow to return here for dinner.

We loved our lunch. Everything was excellent especially the purple asparagus with goats cheese and honey. The wine was really good too. The dishes on offer were traditional and varied so you will find something you like. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is tucked away and you could easily miss it, but it is an absolute find! Both the food and service were brilliant. We will definitely be back.

Went in for breakfast and were given a lovely welcome. We were a little early for opening time but they wouldn’t hear of us waiting. My wife had Spanish peppers with chorizo, spinach and two eggs and I had the Ludlow breakfast. They were both superb.

Lovely quiet spot for somewhere to eat. Staff were amazing and friendly. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed all the food we had.

We had a wonderful evening of tapas followed by delicious deserts! We very much enjoyed the food and the lovely atmosphere of this little hideaway! Staff were very friendly too. We will definitely be back!

What a fantastic little hide away ! Walked past it a couple of days before we went for lunch , not realising it existed Really authentic Spanish tapas with great flavours and very reasonably priced , will definitely visit again , I love the fact that you can just pop in for a coffee and cake , or soup too Highly recommend

The food here was delicious and very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the flavours, such as in the Pil Pil sauce, which was rich and spicy. The food was all cooked very well and the portion sizes were generous. There was only one person covering tables, which meant it took a while for us to be given menus and place an order.

We booked for four of us for dinner on Saturday evening. The restaurant was quite busy but not crowded and had a relaxed vibe. Friendly, attentive staff and a convivial atmosphere plus very tasty food (we had a mixture of tapas and mains) all contributed to a most enjoyable dining experience. Excellent value and highly recommended.

The food was reasonably priced for what you got but felt it was not genuine Spanish fare . Don’t get me wrong the food was good but if you’re experienced real Spanish fare you notice. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would still give it a recommendation.

We didn’t get the table we booked even though we were assured we could have it, they put us upstairs in a spare room with camping tables and alone so no atmosphere. Waiting staff didn’t have a clue about the menu and were extremely slow. Food took one and a half hours to arrive. I have had a stomach infection ever since that meal so I’m convinced something wasn’t right with the food and given the disorganisation and mess in the kitchen I think it’s likely. Owner was lovely but given how I’ve been suffering ever since I feel like I should let others know.

Delicious, freshly cooked Tapas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cooked fresh for us, so took time but worth it! Prawn skewers were a highlight. Open all day, so good for young families needing early tea!

We have passed this little restaurant for the last two years when going visiting Ludlow. We often looked at the menu and thought it looked tasty. Today we actually made it and we’re so pleased we had. This is a genuine tapas bar / restaurant. It is not fancy but was clean and felt like as a tapas bar should. There are tables and seats outside with wraps for the colder weather. The staff were friendly and informal which we appreciate. The menu is varied with an interesting selection to choose from. We had several dishes and could find no fault in any. This restaurant is off the centre of Ludlow but well worth seeking out. We will definitely be going back

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here to celebrate my birthday (whilst on holiday in the area). The food was beautifully prepared and flavoured and both chef and waiter were extremely friendly. I would highly recommend the squid, gambas pil pil and the seabass Nerja style. All of the dishes were flavoursome and clearly prepared by someone passionate about serving traditional Spanish tapas. We would definitely visit again should opportunity arise.

Expected a lot more based on the reviews here. We didn’t really feel there was much effort from the staff toward making this a decent experience for us. No interest that we had a booking (perhaps understandable as it was very quiet for a bank holiday Saturday evening), no wine list or knowledge of prices. All a bit slapdash. We love Spanish food and have been to many Tapas Restaurants in many U.K and European Countries and I would definitely say this little place is a great contender to some that we have visited. My husband has a tomatoe allergy which as you can imagine is challenging, especially with Tapas, but it never phased Parkway. When we were greeted by Naughton ( ask him about his family History, he's a very fascinating young man) he immediately knew who we were and our needs. We were seated promptly without fuss, the restaurant is lovely, well presented, very clean and has that authentic Spanish feel to it, the staff were very attentive ( Mike and his wife own the business, his wife, I think is called Julie is the Chef and Mike helps in the Restaurant. Mike is lovely, quite comical and happy to chat with you, we were briefed on his recent home renovation which was quite amusing at times. It was nice to have our dining experience in such a friendly and relaxed environment and we came away very happy with not just the food or the price which was really reasonable but also the overall experience. We like character, not just of the place we are eating but also of the staff serving us, we liked the family feel, the time to get to know the customers not feel that the staff just want to get you in and out. Doing everything right Parkway ,keep ding that.

Eating tapas shoud be informal, fun and sociable and that's exactly what it was when we ate here on Saturday night. Good food,wine,humour and conversation. Will definetely return when next in the area.

We visited Ludlow for a nosey and stumbled across this place. From the outside, it looked like a hidden gem. Inviting, menus presented on the wall, tables outside. The inside was completely different. It is in desperate need of new flooring and a lick of paint. There were sweaty looking cakes on the side, wrapped in cling film and full of condensation being sold for £2.75 a slice. The gentleman serving was open and admitted he didnt usually work there, but due to the 'eat out to help out' scheme, he had been drafted in. He was forgetful, and offered us menus twice after we had already ordered. The lady who I can only assume to be the chef, came downstairs once and was incredibly impolite. I smiled and greeted her twice, with no response. Between the two of us we ordered meatballs (that never arrived), bruscetta with serrano ham, chicken in garlic, calamari, mushrooms, patatas bravas and prawns. Once I had placed my order I said "that's everything thank you" and he replied "that ought to be, that's plenty". Now, I have a thick skin, but this could have really offended someone. The prawns were nice, albeit they tasted frozen, and the rest, although it was ok, it didn't blow my mind and it definitely wasnt worth between £5 and £7 per dish. Once we had finished the food, we were presented with the bill. I told the gentleman we hadnt recieved the meatballs and he huffed a little bit, but then became apologetic. He even said "they are forever shouting at me, so I'll go upstairs and shout at them for this", I just smiled. After joking about it (because we really weren't that fussed) he continued to say "don't be using this as an excuse to write a bad review on TripAdvisor because we dont bloody need it". This ticked me off. I accepted the apology, I had the moment deducted off the bill, and I made no fuss. His comment was unneeded.I wouldn't visit again, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. I would say though, that this place seems to be letting the "Eat out to help out" scheme take over their priorities and I fear it will start to damage their reputation.

We arrived at the time we booked for lunch. I went to the WC before I sat down and I should have trusted my instincts as went upstairs where you could see into the kitchen it was chaos, a mess, water/spillages on floor, bags of food shopping on floor (Food should never be stored on floor re Food Safety regs). Cleanliness of WC not great either. There were about 4 other tables came about the same time. The lady was quick to take order, our drinks came quickly. There was only one person working here at the time and I thought how will the poor lady clean up, do drinks and cook for everyone. Eventually the "waiter" (I think he must be the owners husband) arrived, he was trying his best to entertain us all and serve at the same time... a giggle at first till we got too hungry. We waited and waited, observed that a bell sounded when he was to trot upstairs to fetch food, he often just didn't go so we were giggling about going up ourselves to get the food. We actually waited 1 hour and 15 mins before any food arrived, I could have eaten anything by then. We could smell that food was being freshly cooked and when it did come it was all rather nice tapas, really enjoyed the mushrooms. Such a shame as the place could have been fantastic, it has a lot of character and is wonderfully unpretentious for Ludlow, the menu is great (maybe too much choice for them to cope with). We did hear that usually they don't open Mon and Tues but due to corona-virus eat out for £10 they are managing it themselves without their usual staff. This could backfire. Good job we all were enjoying the experience, but they shouldn't have accepted so many of us if can't cope. I would love to give it another try, but they need get organised, perhaps we will go back on a day when the usual staff were there to see if any better. Well, at least we won't forget it.

This is an unpretentious restaurant down a side walk, indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside on a mild evening. We asked about wine, we were given a free taster! We then ordered a bottle which was reasonably priced.The menu had some really nice sounding tapas dishes on it. We ordered some familiar favourites, potatas bravas, chorizo, prawns, but we also had also a lovely chorizo and chickpea dish and the most delicious spinach pastries. All served promptly and with a smile.The food was all delicious.The chef and her husband were very friendly, we enjoyed a post meal chat with them.All in all a lovely relaxed evening out and a restaurant will certainly return if /when next in the area.

How would you feel if this happened to you? On the Monday, using Facebook Messenger, you make a booking - table for two, Wednesday at 8 pm. This is acknowledged and confirmed. The next day, with the unexpected arrival of two friends, you telephone and ask if you can make it a booking for four. No problem, they say. Excellent, you think. Not so.Then on the Wednesday evening, your turn up promptly at 8 pm, to be told by a member of staff that they don't have your booking and no table is available. No apology is given, no expression of regret is made, and you are left to wander fruitlessly around town vainly looking for somewhere to eat, at a time when Ludlow' eateries generally stop serving food or are already booked. So you and your guests end up getting fish and chips to take home, an hour later than you planned. One ruined evening, only because a restaurant can't organize a booking system that works and make no effort to put things right.In hindsight, though... perhaps it was just as well: if they can lose two bookings, can they be trusted to get your meal order right and cook it properly? I don't want to risk finding out now. They're not getting a second chance from me.

We went to another place on Corve Street but it was closed, and was heading back towards the town center, and this was place was open and has a table outside. We ordered some sandwiches that came with side salad, some tapas - fried calamari, small fish also fried and olives, and seafood paella for two. It took a while for everything to served, and the paella was the last to be served. Food was quite good, and the paella was tasty but the portion seemed a bit small for two people, but the service was rather slow.

We visited Parkway simply because it was one of the few restaurants open in Ludlow at the moment and were pleasantly surprised. The service was warm and friendly and the tapas was some of the best we’ve ever had. Combined with a very modest price tag and some excellent Rioja, we couldn’t have asked for more.
