I went to the Royal Museum cafe For a bite to eat, I had chicken burger and chips which cost £16 and the quality of the food was awful, I had 2 bites and left the rest. There are better places to eat two minutes walk from there, so don’t waste your money on nasty 🤮 food

There’s a few good offerings here, cake and salads. Food service can be confusing, sometimes meals aren’t available, or will only be served in takeaway boxes. Service can be patchy, staff don’t seem very happy. They should make a decision to either enforce the no buggy rule or just allow buggies, it’s confusing whether you can take one in given the number I always see. Most places offer small servings of warm milk for free, absolute joke that they charged £2 for a “babyccino” when I’d made a big order. It’s generally very busy, used to be more relaxing but seems a popular spot now.

Pros - good location with outdoor tables as well as an extensive inside area. Selection of sandwiches, kids boxes, food to order from the kitchen. Negatives - found it quite expensive, £27 for fish and chips, kid box, two drinks

The food for kids is really expensive and rubbish quality. The snack boxes for £6.50 have really stale rolls that taste like they are several days old, all for M&S prices.

Great location for the ones visiting Greenwich park with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were very polite. You have the option of grabbing a coffee, light meals (sandwiches, cakes, cream tea) or have a proper meal. There is a variety of hot food including vegetarian and vegan meals and we had the fish and chips and the Thai Chicken curry. Minus one point as they used a small paper plate for a £16.00 Haddock and chips (others had proper plates for all hot food), not ideal.

Good service. Plenty of seating with some that is covered and outdoors too. They have some kids food available. Clean cafe. Food is OK and average price for a London museum.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this cafe with a terrace on the second floor. The menu is simple but quite satisfactory, self-service type, clean and beautiful views of the park and museum. Definitely recommend!

Sorry, but a Greek salad without any dressing is simply not possible. All the worse if, when asked, there is generally no dressing for the Greek salad - not even when specifically asked. A no-go without vinegar. The dressing for the Caesar salad tastes artificial/weird. The penne for the children was cold and deadly boring. The service was moderately friendly. The prices are generally exorbitant compared to other restaurants/cafes. The performance is not right at all.

Fish looks good on the outside but inside it was toooo much batter we had to scrape mushy batter out to be able to eat it. The whole meal needed a lot more salt but even that was nowhere to be found onlz pepper was available. I would not eat here again.

I recently visited a charming café near Greenwich Park, and it was an absolute delight. The coffee was exceptional, brewed to perfection, and the pastries were fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a stroll in the park.

A nice place with a terrace to get something to bite (small and main dishes) and drink after a long walk through Greenwich Park, Observatory and the Naval College complex. The manager was really friendly, helpful and professional. They were packed and short of staff during our visit, but they managed really well. KUDOS! Enjoyed the scones especially. Even though I hate raisins, I didn’t mind them in the scone.

I live locally and often visit for lunch. The setting is great and the food is generally good, but what has happened to my favourite sourdough ham and cheese baguettes?? They're now using ordinary white bread baguettes, which are tasteless.

If any of you have any intolerances or allergies, keep away from this establishment. My wife is gluten intolerant. So we arrived at lunchtime (around 1230ish) to find some confusion amongst the staff about where food was to be served. That seemly resolved, we ordered two burgers, one with a GF bun. So we wait….and wait until two cardboard containers of food arrived. ‘Which one is GF?’ we ask. A look of absolute horror passed over this poor girls face. Both containers are returned to the kitchen, only to reappear a few moments later held by another member of staff. There’s been a mix up, would you like to have these returned to the kitchen so a GF bun can be found? Yes, we reply. So we wait some more……..until two more containers arrived, this time looking more promising. And so we ate. We’ve recently had a very nice lunch at the Science Museum. This was nothing like it. All I can say is that poor quality, cheap ingredients, cooked indifferently is not a good recipe for a tasty lunch. We will not be back.

Came here for a quick bite. So difficult to eat in alone with a toddler. You have to order at the till but know which table number you have so need to reserve it even before ordering. If you order a coffee, they would also make you get up and take it when they can just bring it to your table, seeing that you are alone with a toddler. I had to leave my baby by the table and quickly grab the coffee since I can’t carry both. Please look into making this cafe kids friendly and parent friendly, knowing that we all come here for the museum.

Stopped for as light lunch last Saturday during our visit to Greenwich. Disappointed with the 'soup of the day'. It was Leek and potato which when it came, it had no flavour, all we could taste was water and pepper! Service and atmosphere were fine though.

Service is not friendly at all (quite rude tbh). Only 3-4 highchairs available for a fairly large cafe/ restaurant, which seems unfeasible given this is a fairly popular museum for children?

Another place hit by Brexit and unwavering inflation. Before the kids menu was 7 pounds, but now it's 9 for a burned burger and salty fries. Service is slow and somewhat abrupt. It is mostly run by young kids that seem to wish they could do something else during the weekend. I used to love coming here, but the raising prices and lowerng quality of the food means I will be avoiding it in the future.

I visited Costa on Monday morning around 9:30 AM and ordered a latte with hazelnut syrup and oat milk. Unfortunately, they gave me a caramel latte instead. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what disappointed me most was the staff's attitude when I pointed it out. When I informed the lady (an Asian lady) that I had ordered a hazelnut latte, she took the coffee back while rolling her eyes and banged the coffee machine loudly. Her behavior was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. It was an unpleasant experience, and I won’t be visiting this location again.
