Lovely upmarket caravan park, just what we wanted really quiet and close to Polkerris beach and Fowey. Pool was nice and clean although you could only use it for 45mins due to Covid which was understandable. Only thing that lets the site down is the 2 girls that work in the cafe, rude, bad attitude no thankyou or goodbye when we left, customer service isn’t their forte! Food was good though. Lady on reception was also nice and helpful.

We found this cafe/ restaurant by chance when visiting the area. We sat outside with the dog although they are welcome inside. The staff were all lovely and made sure all precautions had been taken. The choice of food was excellent and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be visiting again.

Our first time on a caravan holiday for over 50 years and boy have caravans changed. Ours had everything we could possibly need. It was very spacious with good quality furnishings and plenty of storage space. The Park is well laid out with flowering shrubs and trees. There is a launderette, a gym, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor games area for older children and a playground for the younger ones and a wide sandy beach just a few yards away. Lastly the staff are really friendly people. We would recommend this Park to everyone for a great holiday.

Gets a 4-star as the service was a bit slow. Plenty of free parking. We only had tea & beers plus a delicious cherry & almond shortcake slice which was delicious. A tad pricy just for a drink and biscuit but very pleasant to sit out in the sunshine.

This privately owned caravan is very comfortable, clean and is well equipped with everything you would need to make your holiday special. We have stayed here many times and would highly recommend. The owners are very friendly, helpful and go beyond expectations to make every stay memorable. The site is next to the beach and is very clean and well maintained.

We rented a private caravan, which was the best equipped caravan we have ever rented. The site is clean and nicely laid out. Not too big but not too small. A few minutes walk to the nearest restaurants and pub and not far from the village. It's on the coast and has a big beach just on the other side of the sand dunes. It's true that there is a cement works at one end of the beach, but if you walk along the other way, the view is lovely so it's easy to ignore the works. Lots of dog walkers as it's a dog friendly beach, and we were pleased to find there was virtually no dog poo left behind. We didn't use the swimming pool or the café as we didn't really have the time but they looked ok. They sell some things in the swimming pool area...tea, coffee, milk and various other bits and bobs but it's not far to go into Par to the Co-Op or the Spar. We went during school term time so it was very peaceful but I presume during school holidays it would be a bit noisier. There is a nice play area for children plus some tennis courts and I think a basket ball court? I would definitely visit again.

If you book online, and read the t&c you will be unaware of their policy regarding which vehicle can be parked next to your caravan until you physically sign in (a bit late at that stage if you have driven a couple of hundred miles with your doggy vehicle)...... no commercial vans on site...unless it has windows and seats in the back.....a mini bus is ok...and by their rules a crew van would be ok even a double cab pickup....the t&c only mention mobile homes and get ski not being allowed....and the other exception.... you can drive the van (sign written or not, they don't differentiate) to the caravan, unload and pick up but you can't park....so where do you park? Well they let you park outside the site office at the entrance where it says no parking and then if you need to load the vehicle for the days sightseeing or to drop off the family, you are just waved in.... when staff are confronted they tell you they are reviewing the t&c and they always phone a week before the holiday to tell the unsuspecting holiday maker.... a bit too late to make other plans. No managers available for 4 days.....so everyday I walked to the front site office, drove the van back to the caravan, picked up my 82 year old mother and dog , and went out for the day.... then repeated on our return, and again when we went out for the evening...I would think the neighbouring caravans would of wondered what I was doing, no wait.... it's October and they are empty!!!

This was out fourth visit (which should give some idea that this review will be biased) and the facilities are spot-on - indoor swimming pool, outdoor play areas and 5-minute walk to a lovely sandy beech - and my only gripe would be that the Wi-Fi coverage should be extended to the whole site not just the leisure complex.

Second year at this site as big family group. My biggest issue is with the variability of standard of accommodation. It is really not clear on the website what each level includes, and what the differences are. The you get here, allocation seems pretty random, and impossible to group parties near to each other, even if requested well in advance. The accommodation is not particularly cheap, although I would be happier with the cost if the standard were consistent. One of the caravans allocated to our 3 family party of 13 was very much less impressive than the others, although we all paid the same Platinum price. However, the staff were helpful and did their best to put this right. The small swimming pool is nice and clean and very suitable for smaller children. There are quite strict rules about adult supervision though, so check these out before you go. It can get very busy when the weather is not good. The beach is close, just over the sand dunes and reasonably straightforward to get onto. There is lots of seaweed on it and Par Docks is pretty industrial at one end, so it's not the prettiest looking but it is flat and dog friendly. And lots of friendly dog owners too. Facilities at the site seem to be getting better year on year, with a reasonable restaurant opened in the last year, and more in the way of activities such as football and boules. Tennis courts are good, but are charged at £5 per hour plus racket hire. There is a nice outside area with play equipment for children and seating for when the weather is good. All in all this is quite a nice site with definite strong good points. I can't help feeling that it could be so much better though!

My only reservation is the close proximity of other vans. We were fortunate and had quiet neighbours but if not it could have been a problem. Lovely location though and would definitely go again.

We called into the local "Italian" restaurant on our first night as it was convenient and we were all hungry. We were quite encouraged by the setting; being pleasant enough. That's where the positive feedback ends. The choice of food was terrible and not at all adventurous and the wait between our starter and main was so long that even the staff began to question why we were sat at our table doing nothing!!. Eventually someone apologised for our ridiculously long wait (after 60 minutes) and our food arrived. Totally embarrassed, they then removed all of the food charge from our bill and we left. Deciding that we should give them the benefit of the doubt, we foolishly tried it again on our last night of holiday. Shocking is an understatement. The so-called garlic bread had burnt butter on top. The rancid taste was unbearable and we could not eat the two portions between the five of us (£9 wasted). We only ordered a main course each, as we were keen to get back to our holiday home and pack for home. The food arrived promptly, but the taste and preparation was again shocking. The pizzas were under cooked and bad tasting. The pasta dishes were bland and tasteless. The service is poor, they all seem pretty clueless. On our way out we used the "mood survey" button to give the restaurant our feedback by pressing sad faces. As I got into my car one of the staff pressed the happy face about 20 times, after giving us a dirty look! If you don't want our honest feedback, then don't ask for it!!. In short, stay away!! Don't eat here, like EVER!!!

Very poor. Ordered the smallest Old Fashioned in the World. Tasted like a normal (very small) bourbon but for 3* the price. Would not recommend.

Ordered online, was told it had been delivered so rang up and was told it actually hadn’t left the shop yet (this was nearly an hour after ordering) then for my order to arrive to have a full English missing, fruit pot missing, and special instructions not followed so one salad box couldn’t be eaten due to allergies. Super disappointing and couldn’t have been worse to be honest. Called up to say we’re missing a full English and the guy on the phone apologised but just seemed to find it funny as was laughing the whole time. Don’t order from here.

Ginos spaghetti house was an unexpected, delicious surprise. The food was incredible, even better than what we had in Italy and the service impeccable. It is deceptively low key looking from the outside but don't let that fool you. This restaurant really hit the mark with food and service. Thank you.
