Food hasn't turned up after 2 hours

We ordered, it said it was going to be here by 7.35 and it’s turned up nearly an hour late

I am not a fussy eater and not one to write a review.. However this is the most unpleasant tasting Chinese food I have had, what tasted like everyday bisto beef gravy with special fried rice was not a nice experience.

Food came an hour and a half late chips taste like they've been re heated and the crispy beef is a tiny portion for 8 pound definitely do not recommend!!!

Delivery ordered at 18.02… at 19.30 I rang to ask where it was and told 10 minutes away. It arrived at 20.15 stone cold and inedible and no apology. I sent a complaint to the restaurant and 2 days later no reply😡😡 Avoid Avoid Avoid 😡😡😡

Dreadful food came was horrible all of it was raw and overcooked never ever again will I return aww and the delivery took libs

Ordered a chinese from here to be delivered on our first night in Stanley B&B. Arrived on time still really hot and was very tasty so very pleased we had our chinese meal for two from you guys Thx John & Sue Norfolk

Absolutley disgusting. Food came 40 minutes late, starters were cold and oily by that time. Starters were supposed to come with sweete and sour sauce, no sauce. Singapore Chow Mein had some congealed, grainy curry sauce on it-like nothing I've ever had before from any Chinese. Both main courses utterly inedible. A complete wasste of money, and I will never order from them again. Not only the worst Chinese, but the worst takaway I've ever had.

This was the most outrageous experience I've ever had. I ordered two munch boxes, waited two hours, to receive two cans of Tango instead. This level of disrespect is beyond unacceptable. If I could give 0 star, I would! Do not waste your time or money here. Absolutely horrible!

Just inedible foul scary 😨 looking food , unbelievable that they are still allowed to stay open, I even called the following day and the man was so very rude almost as though he actually did not care

Shocking service waited 45 minutes from ordering in the shop when we were told 10 to 15 minutes. Order would of been wrong if not asked what was in bag. Will not be back

Awful. Told delivery would be 30-45 mins so ok with that. Hour and 45 mins was eventually delivered. Was just about to ring them to tell them not to bother and really with I had. Food is just absolutely awful. Like really inedible. Everything was cold, so presumably it's been out for delivery for ages or forgot about once packaged in the takeaway. Lemon chicken is disgusting bits of dissolving chicken (texture of paper mache or wet cardboard) rather than battered and sliced chicken breast. Couldn't eat the prawns as the were lukewarm and didn't want to reheat them. The suspicious looking meat in the rice looks like kebab meat, so god knows what it is. The wrapping it all came in was soggy it must have sat in the bag so long. The sauce was all over the bag. Best thing I can say is that the curry sauce was spicy. But cold. Obviously. Don't order from here. Save your money. Go elsewhere . Rancid.

Absolutely horrible wouldn’t order wouldn’t even feed it to my dogs they would probably turn there nose up at it crispy beef tasted like cooked burnt twiglets

First order since new owners, my favorite king prawn curry and fried rice so disappointing curry watery and mainly squares of onion.

We've used Park Lane chinese for years now and have always enjoyed, last night however we ordered a meal to be delivered, I noticed straight away when I rang that it wasn't the usual guy on the other end of the phone? He seemed clueless, anyway eventually the delivery turned up and it wasn't the same delivery guy either, it was a new man who informed me that the business had been taken over a couple of weeks ago. Plated the meal up for myself and my husband, curry sauce was like water, the special fried rice was very salty and lacked ingredients like it used to with previous owners. We didn't enjoy at all. Definitely won't be ordering again, gone right downhill in my estimations....AVOID!!!

AVOID!! Everything we ordered bar the chips were lukewarm at best, although there were parts of the fried rice that were burnt. Next, we’ve never seen anything like what we got to go with the duck pancakes – CHUNKS of cucumber and spring onion – not the usual finely sliced pieces to be rolled up in a pancake and the cherry on the top was the biggest chunk of cucumber was the end and it still had the plastic wrapper attached!!

Great food meat was soft and tender very tasty not overly salty

Easily the best Chinese take-away in the area! I’ve tried a few different dishes and they have always been excellent. Quantity/quality is great, and the price is very reasonable.

The food is awful, warm and too heavy on the msg. I would not recommend this at all. Be aware it is cash only so don’t waste time like I did and have to go back for money it is totally not worth it.

I drive all the way from Washington to this Chinese as when I lived in Gateshead used all the time great food and real meat not the rubbery stuff that most Chinese serve now .

We regularly order from this Chinese but today was amazing! We called in an order rather late and close to closing time, not realising when they closed; however the staff were lovely and made our order and waited for us to arrive despite arriving after regular closing time just so we could get our order. Would definitely recommend to everyone to try this place!

Have lived round the corner from Park Lane for over four years but never tried it until very recently. Can honestly say it’s the nicest Chinese take away I’ve ever had, went back the following week and it was also excellent. Will be my regular from now on, great food, reasonable prices, friendly service, well worth a try.

You must try Beef in Cantonese Sauce. Its the best one I've ever had. 💝 They take the green peppers out for me and add extra mushrooms. I'm ordering this again tonite. Delish.

have been getting meals from here as it was my local (within walking distance for 10 years) another 16 years on I still favour this place and have meals delivered now, having moved from previous house. The meals are simple chinese cooking not gloopy concoctions full of MSG and they are happy to accomodate my dislike of this new obsessoin of putting green beans and peppers in everything, what you ask for is what you get. Reasonably priced with 3 meals coming in under £20.00. Have 2 carry outs 10 and 30 meters from my house but still loyal to Park Lane that has got to say it all!
