Tried 2 for £20 Friday, Great value for money, service was ok till we asked for a takeaway box. We were given a piece of tin foil and left to do it at the table. Very unprofessional and embarrassing

Went for Sunday lunch today,as ever the food was delicious ,the chef chatted as he carved our meat and the young lads and lasses who were waiting were polite and courteous,however as had happened before when you go to pay the lady on the till says how much the meal cost and no please then when you pay there's no thankyou and even when you put in the tip box still no thankyou ,nothing ,and this has happened before with the same person ,ignorant

Brilliant Homely hotel. Stayed here for 7 nights with work. We usually stay in Premier Inns, but this was a nice change. Really nice and down to earth people instead of corporate branded robots. Only deducted one star because the hot water went off one night through a fault

Visited today with family pork was all fat and bones disgusting beef was tough all frozen vegetables no parsnips roasties were new potatoes cut in half and fried much better places for the price .

We visit here a couple of times a year and it's always great. The staff are friendly and the carvery is brilliant. We have been having our boxing day lunch here for around the last 7 years!

Hotel 1 night stay with dinner and breakfast. Not worth the £90 per room, × 2, I paid, nor the £47 dinner without drinks, for a fray bentos steak pie, which was the only thing what seemed, decent to eat on the menu, due to scaffolding, the windows were locked from outside, on a hot night, very uncomfortable cheap mattress, and as you enter the building, an over whelming damp old smell hits you, and u almost immediately you start to regret, not researching more online before booking, trying to escape at 11 at night for oxygen, all doors locked, had to push the restaurant door open that lead to the small carpark with relief of some fresh air. I'm sure there are better hotels not too far, or maybe whitby is far better!

We chose the lunchtime carvery which we both found very good. The food was cooked perfectly to our taste. It was “served” at a hot temperature which adds to the flavour and made it enjoyable to eat. There was a good choice of meat: turkey, pork and beef. I had roasted turkey which I throughly enjoyed and my partner decided on pork which she described as lovely, tasty and tender. We both had desserts: one was cheesecake with cinder toffee and ice cream, the other dessert was lemon meringue which my partner said was “very nice”. Also two soft drinks. The service was quick and efficient. And all very good value at £26.00

Horrific experience with my 84 year old mam took her there to be snarled at by the horrid women manager due to my 84 year old mam picking up the wrong plate even tho my mam could only eat a saucers with of food. Not the first complaint about that nasty person who is losing customers, they be batter off rid of her !! * DISCUSTING WOMAN *

Midweek break, morning buffet disappointing, all luke warm. Snotty eggs everyday. Carvery for evening meal was fine. Hotel in general is tired, in need of TLC. Staff fine.

Poor food, mash was a slurry, roasties burnt, frozen veg that had been stood for ages and cold, meat was loverly, worst carvery ever, it's normally great, went 2 weeks later not much better, what's gone wrong! it used to be the best carvery in the area

I booked the small function room for a special birthday, i booked for close family only, there was 20 of us. The room was just right for a small group and we could decorate it for the occasion and bring a cd player for music. The buffet was fantastic and a credit to the park hotel. (I have had their bar meals and carvery before and they are brilliant, the parmesans are excellent.) The buffet was varied and catered for all ages and needs ,there was so much and more than adequate ,we took the leftovers home in takeaway boxes that staff provided. The staff were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful, from the date i booked to the day itself. I would highly recommend. Thank you again for making the day a special one for the birthday boy.

This has to be the best carvery I have ever eaten at, the meat was tender and moist the veg cooked to perfection, the small sausages were an added bonus plenty of meat and gravy to die for. Very busy so booking is advised

Food was delicious! We had breakfast both mornings and couldn’t fault at all! We also had lunch in the bar, Sunday roast was delicious! Huge portion with a large variety on the plate and for an amazing price! Would 100% reccommend to eat here!

Great value carvery and main courses every day. All food is freshly cooked, the carvery is busy so food is always fresh and delicious. The service in the restaurant is excellent t all staff are incredibly friendly and efficient and the whole family eat here regularly

Stayed on 15th May for 4 nights our 3rd visit to the hotel we must say it did not disappoint from the reception staff to bar staff and restaurant staff and cleaners all smiley and chatty. Breakfast plenty full and evening meals very good, We had little issue with our room was sorted straight away and we moved to a suite with fabulous sea views, thank you once again park Hotel we will be back

A full car park at lunchtime is always a good omen on arrival and we were not disappointed. Succulent meat and an amazing array of fresh veggies, we were too full for dessert (most of which were home made) so had our desserts to go....

Just had a fantastic takeaway from the park hotel. We got a meal deal of 3 parmos and 1 burger for £25. The parmos were massive and excellently cooked,chips were delicious and a lovely homemade salad and a generous portion of the obligatory garlic sauce....

Very nice fresh tasting food made with care. Polite fast serivce and the two chefs who were serving carvery (dom and Jimmy) excellent crack and banter. Made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be back soon

Absolutely terrible last time here 10yrs ago next time never the food not cooked right all ding food for £9.50 a head much better with fresh food and cheaper not far from this dump

Went to the Park for lunch on Boxing Day. Although it was packed the service was very good, the food was excellent and couldn't complain about the staff - they were kept very busy. I will be going there again in the future!

You just can’t beat the beef from the Park Hotel anywhere else in this area! It’s amazing! Friendly staff can nearly always fit you in. It’s got to be the best carvery in this area!

Just made an unscheduled visit to the Park. Was very unsure as our last visit was a let down but I'm happy to say we had a lovely meal. Husbands pie was tasty but a bit crusty on the crust. Sons parmo looked great and was soon gone. My hot chicken salad just hit the spot. Only thing that stops us visiting more is their gluten free options are few and far between which I think is a shame.

The food here is superb always fresh and delicious, the staff are very pleasant and it’s a very nice environment relaxing it could do with a little modernisation but overall it’s great, my only criticism is the car park, it’s a nightmare the last 3 times I have been here my car has sustained some sort of damage, the parking is very tight the spaces are too small and difficult to manoeuvre into, I have had a dent on my car a nasty scratch on my wife’s car and ripped the front spoiler off my car by scraping it on the ridiculously high kerb on one side, the value meals here end up costing me a fortune, please park hotel repaint bigger and better organised spaces there’s a lot of elderly people visit here and they must have a nightmare, it’s a real shame as other than the parking I’ve had nothing but great service and food here

I had corned beef pie that was served with home made “real” chips, mushy peas and gravy... all home made, no microwave pastry and only 8.95.. the do good Parmos too

We went today for lunch with our two grandchildren. We did not go into the restaurant but opted for a bar meal. We ordered two cokes, 1 pint john smiths beer and a half lager shandy which came to £9.10p. We put it on a tab along with two half chicken parmesans , served with coleslaw, salad and homemade chips,a corned beef pie served with mushy peas and chips and a childs chicken nuggets, mashed potato beans,cheese and gravy and 1 vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. The food took about 40 mins to be served, but we were all served together, it was hot and freshly cooked. The portions were generous and everyone enjoyed their meal. There was an extensive menu with usual pub fare but also a good choice of starters and deserts. There were many offers both in the bar and the restaurant with both starters and main courses, three courses or two for £13.95 from the bar meal menu, there is also a carvery available each day lunch, tea and evening with a choice of bar carvery plated for you, or in the restaurant where it is buffet service. The staff were friendly, in a pleasant, clean environment with atmosphere. It wasnt too busy, being a Monday at 1pm though there were quite a few diners. The whole bill came to £36.90.

Been here a few times , taking my 92 year old mother for lunch .Food is decent enough , but the staff are not particularly pleasant , it’s like they have a job to do and that’s all the effort they put into it . Food is fresh and tasty and reasonably priced , but have stopped going as don’t like the bar manager who can be quite abrupt . Asked for a small glass of lemonade for my mother as she only has a mouthful but they refused .

Attended funeral reception held in the main dining room. Everything went off beautifully, ample and good quality food, nice bright room and friendly and helpful staff. Helped what could have been a sad occasion to be a glorious celebration of a much loved family members life.

Great experience and the quality of the food and the presentation was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help me. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed and the vip offered when you buy a one off card is fantastic values for every future visit. It's a convenient gem with great parking.

Everyone enjoyed their meals which were substantial. I had the toffee and walnut cheesecake and it was the best I have ever tasted.

My wife and I had the Christmas menu last week I had prawn cocktail and she had breaded garlic mushrooms both had carvery followed by lemon marang and cheese cake special price I think it was £15.99 for 2 all was OK meat was plentiful. While there noticed they do early evening price from 5 till 7 will be back to try that out.

Dinners are unreal so tasty and so big staff are also very friendly looks like we will be regular visitors

Stopped here on numerous occasions find the service sound. Rooms aren’t the best and not the cleanest also i find the pillows rock hard. Food is home cooked and the breakfast is always spot on. Always warm in winter and the staff are very friendly

went here fot the pre xmas special.great value at 15 99 per couple for 3 courses the carvery was lovely fresh veg meat cooked v well and dessert was gorgeous (cherry cheescake ) only prob we had was the dining room.was very hot making it uncomfortable to enjoy the delicious food also been for sun carvery again excellent food but the dining room always too hot to enjoy the meal the park hotel.really needs to sort out some air conditiining or put fans up for the time being .

Visited with friends for the Christmas Fayre priced at £15.95 per couple. I am not normally a fan of a carvery but this was very good. Traditional starters of soup, prawn cocktail, breaded mushrooms etc. Loads of fresh vegetables and roast and mashed potatoes to accompany the three meets of turkey, gammon and beef. All well cooked and lovely and moist. Puddings were lovely as well with choices of Christmas pudding, cherry cheesecake, lemon meringue and trifle. Staff were excellent, efficient helpful and friendly.

Visited with family, all had the carvery, the meat was lovely, desserts just ok, hence 4 starts and not 5, would go again and can definitely recommend the carvery (the dining room was nicely decorated and spacious too).

Hadn't been here for a lot of years but decide to go for a meal went and had a carvery with a dessert cost about £6 worth every penny we are definitely going back soon

I would have liked to give the hotel more stars. My room was very nice, clean and had fantastic seaviews so no complaints there. Breakfast was fine as was the meal in the bar/restaurant. The let down was the customer service. Reception in particular and checking in could be improved. I find it incredibly rude when you check in and the receptionist talks over you to colleagues. This resulted in very little information given as to where the restaurant was, WiFi password etc. A bit more of a personal touch and attention to arriving guests.

I will start with my one, and only, complaint; sockets! Too few in room constantly plugging and unplugging!

Carvery at 5.95 for 2 courses on the early bird. A good choice of meat, I had all three, beef, gammon and turkey, all roasted to perfection, no dry meat here. A good selection of vegetables and lovely mashed potato, lots of gravy too, extra brought to the table in gravy boats. Then a lovely light jam sponge and custard, I could barely move afterwards. Excellent value for money.

Had the 3 course carvery lunchtime menu . You can’t fault it for the price the carvery was excellent and had a good choice of meats to choose from . Even the chef had a bit of banter with us .The only thing that spoilt it was the service the girls in black tops were polite and friendly but the one who looked to be in charge in a maroon top rushed us so much we hadn’t even looked at a menu and she came over for us to order .Overall I would go back as it’s great value for money .

Very well cooked lunchtime food, roast meal menu very tasty and filling at a fair price. I have stayed here a long time ago and that was always very pleasant and the rooms were clean.

Today we visited without a reservation it was very busy but we were seated and staff very helpful and polite deapit been so busy. 1 had the 2 courae and my partner had the 3 course special. £6.99 & £7.99 cant fall off. The carvery is by far the best around. I had the chcolate orange cake for desert which was very tasty. Thanks again for another pleasent visit. Would highly recommend and be back soon.

As a seasoned, sometimes very critical, reviewer on TripAdvisor, mainly because I tend to review when displeased by poor service and quality, I have to go against the grain here. When I come across real gems like the Park Hotel, I am a bit hesitant to give a good review as I don't want everyone to book the place out, resulting in me not being able to get in. Selfish, but true.

Pensioners and early bird Carvery is great value for money two courses for under Six pounds.

We went with a group of 9 people at lunchtime - the carvery was great and the general menu was very extensive and traditional. The staff were speedy, pleasant and efficient and the food was pi98ping hot. Excellent value!

Often go here for Sunday lunch, staff are pleasant and the food is tasty and plentiful. If v you decide to go regulary its worth buying the VIP ticket whi c h lasts for 6 months and entitles you to two meals for £10 which is excellent value.

Myself, my bf and about 12 of the family came to celebrate a few February birthdays! Food was awesome, kids came out first which was fab, good portions, friendly staff.

A hundred of us but they coped well. Most of us had a starter and carvery. Bearing in mind the place was packed the service was good and friendly. A good selection at the carvery, all the food was fresh and tasty. An excellent venue for a family celebration.

Room was bright and clean. Bathroom enormous with plenty of hot water. Towels fresh, bedding crisp and white. Absolutely no complaints.

Standing right on the sea front overlooking the beach, the views of the coastline are fantastic. Service is friendly and helpful. Very impressed on check in was given a sea view room which was huge with two windows and very clean. Bathroom was newly refurbished and plenty of toiletries provided. Large comfy bed and 24 hour access was great. Massive downfall for us was that we rang reception at 9.29 am and were firmly told breakfast was no longer available..... it finished at 9.30 but there was no I'll check with the chef, u could grab a quick sandwich just a firm no despite us prepaying for it. Really disappointing that there was no go the extra mile kind of attitude as we would have been happy with grabbing a coffee and a quick sandwich so to not delay the kitchen/staff as it was a buffet I'm sure the food would have been pre prepared. Would have recommended this to family if it wasn't for the short thrift we got from reception re the breakfast as other than that it was a lovely stay!

When we stay at the Park Hotel, Redcar (this was our third visit this year), we always dine in the Hotel restaurant. The food is always of a very high standard, and the service is quick and attentive. And the breakfast is a real incentive to getting up in the morning!

We booked into the Wilton Suite which was large and had a sea view. There is a King bed made up of two double beds. We found that it was necessary to keep the rear window closed as staff and guests congregated below to smoke which we found the smoke permeated into our room. Suggest that if you do not want to suffer this scenario that you request a room away from this area. I did ask whether there was a designated smoking area, and guess what this was it, rather than another 10 yards away from the building.

The park hotel is absolutely fantastic and the staff are an absolute credit to them I have stopped in many hotels threw out the world due to my job but honestly I found the park hotel home from home and the food is absolutely fantastic job well done

We've just come from the park hotel restaurant having had two 3 course meals for £12 and they were excellent the beef melted in your mouth..the staff are very friendly​ and helpful definitely worth it and well worth a try if you've never been

Good value for money and very handy for group of cyclists. Good quality breakfast self service eat as much as you need. Very friendly staff, lashings of hot water for multiple baths. Place to store cycles inside overnight. Room was nice, bathroom needed a little TLC. Some areas of hotel need minor revamp. No real grumble. Perfect quality for group of thirsty hungry tired cyclist.

This restaurant is good value for money. We have eaten here on a number of occasions and always come away satisfied. We usually enjoy the Sunday Carvery with starters & deserts. The main meal is usually very hot (and delicious). The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite.

Awful from the start the room needs decorating the wallpaper was stained and coming away. The bathroom was the same but the flooring was coming up. We booked a suite and didn't get one it was suppose to be a double but it was a twin push together. Will never return only when I'm dead to haunt them.

Went for lunch with another couple won't be going again as far to squashed felt like a school dinner hall no room in between tables to move which is a shame as the food was good

went today for 3 course meal with family. great deal, 3 courses for £12 per couple. the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. however, we were packed in like sardines and constantly getting seats bumped by other diners. getting from carvery to seats was not easy, far too many little tables and no space between. even staff were struggling to move about easily. whole situation meant lack of atmostphere. great shame cos best roast taties ever and beef delicious! cant knock the food or staff, but they really must sort out the seating

Thursday April 13th had a carvery followed by sticky toffee pudding meals we're of excellent quality and if you go between 5 and 7 pm Monday to Thursday a 2 course meal is less than £6 no need to book. Also a good selection of drinks.

Really nice car very Sunday lunch, you can get as much as you would like, lots of choice with extra gravy jug if you want it. The deserts are really good puddings with real custard.

Visited mid week with family and elderly mother. Went for the car very. Meats were cheap cuts but what do you expect for the price i here you say. Vegetables over cooked and mushy Yorkshire pudding tough altogether food that you expect at a retirement home On good side mother enjoyed hers as she didn't have to chew

we went to the park hotel on xmas eve and it was packed the place had a nice feel about it on a cold windy day.we sat in the bar and ordered gammon steak and parmo which was excellent value at £13.95 for 2 meals you wait about20-25 mins but its worth the wait my husbands gammon was very big and cooked to perfection he likes it well done the chips are excellent the parmo is very big and hard to finish(not a complaint) the service is always very good we will be back this year as its well worth the visit and it does have a carvery if you like that as well

The Park offers both carvery meals and bar meals. We decided to have a quick bar meal here as it was convenient. It must be a year since we visited and it has been redecorated and it's very clean and tidy. The service was quick and pleasant, the staff were all very helpful. A variety of offers and different meals were available and when our food arrived it was hot and well prepared. My only complaint is the dumping of chopped parsley on the food, which does not enhance the food. Well worth a visit.

6 of us had booked a table for Saturday lunchtime and the carvery was pretty full, so glad we did.You can order from the main menu as well as having the carvery selection, so we had 3 starters, 5 carvery mains and one from the menu plus three desserts and drinks. The bill came to a ridiculous £60, so excellent value.Good service, there was a problem with some lemonade and it was quickly rectified. The food from the carvery was great; a choice of beef, turkey and pork, lots of veg and sauces. Plus Yorkshire puds of course.I have eaten bar meals in the main bar before and have never been disappointed, especially if you buy the 2 meals for £10 cards - additional good value.

This carvery is the best carvery in the world. My partner and i visited here this weekend and I have to say that I have been to a lot of carverys but none this good. The meat was cooked to perfection the chose of veg was first class and the gravy was to die for. The desert menu is also very good but unfortunately I was too full to have one. Don't go to redcar and have fish and chips go to the park hotel and have a belly full of quality.

Me and my family go to the Park at least once a week. Both me and my parents have a '2 for 1' card which make it really great value. There an excellent choice of traditional bar meals on the menu and always a great selection of specials on the boards if you fancy something different. Everything appears to be fresh, well prepared and home cooked. I would recommend Cajun chicken tag, Red Thai Curry or even just the omelettes. The staff are always friendly and provide excellent service. A few months ago we even had a carvery in the main dining area to celebrate my brothers engagement. There was only 8 of us, nothing big, but staff were more than helpful with letting me decorate the table and supplying some champagne and flutes for the occasion.Honestly its the best kept secret in Redcar. Why cook when its quicker, easier and cheaper to eat here!

The starters where good sized and very tasty came piping hot but It was very hot and stuffy, the carvery was very dry and over cooked, the meat was not too bad but did not think there was much to choose from. As for desert it was amazing myself trying the toffee crisp and Diam bar cake and my son trying the mint choc nickerblockergloy whom also thought it was amazing would recommend the deserts and starters but unfortunatly not the carvery. The staff were very pleasent and welcoming and never bothered us whilst eating which was a bonus

On the six occasions we have stayed at the Park Hotel, we have dined in the restaurant.The food is of a very high standard, plentiful, and excellent value. Service is attentive and prompt.The buffet breakfast is a treat - and just what you want after a brisk, early morning stroll along the beach.It is ideal for a family meal.

Beautiful Sunday roast which you can either choose to eat in the restaurant as a carvery or in the bar where they serve you a plate with all the trimmings. The foodis tasty, well presented and comes in generous portions with extra gravy on the side. A Sunday must!

Heard of this from another pensioner where the carvery and 1 course is £5.95 what good value. Carvery is choice of turkey pork gammon or beef. Wife got 2 slices of tukey I had a bit of pork and beef. Both cooked to perfection with a good selection of veg and fill a gravy boat to take to your table

Bright clean and friendly restaurant. Good friendly service. Varied choice of food and variables, pensioners menus., 2 meals for £13.00 . And a discount card offering 2 meals or £10.00. Choices of carvery, fish & chips, vegetarian choices, omelette, etc etc. Very good choice of starters, main and desserts .excellent cup of tea too. Tables attractively dressed. Very big portions also. Oh yes ..Real chips..delicious.

We decided to come here for an evening meal originally for a carvary but as they don't do then on a Monday we stayed and chose from the menu.The starters were lovely. We had the half parmesan for our mains but it was more like a quarter of a parmesan so this really let the meal down and was not worth the price.We had the nutella cheesecake for dessert which were absolutely amazing.The staff were very friendly and welcoming but they were stood but chatting about what care they were going to get and about moving house not a conversation dining guests need to know.

I had a meal in the bar with a friend. The menu is varied with some great dishes at reasonable prices. We ordered the chicken parmo which came with chips, salad and coleslaw. It was delicious a full plate for £8.50 well worth the price. I noticed that they do a great children's menu too. The staff were really friendly and very attentive. They made us feel really welcome and I will definitely go back. I would encourage anyone wanting a good meal in a relaxed setting to go there. It's on the sea front with great views out to sea and they show the football with is an added bonus!
