Wow what a day we had, having visited many race track restaurants we can definitely say the food and staff are second to none, the manager Darren made our anniversary celebrations particularly special, thank you for a first class day, we will definitely be back.

York Racecourse Parade ring restaurant really knows how to look after visitors The staff are polite and friendly, the food delicious and Katherine our waitress, was a real gem. We hope to see her again on our next visit - and would definitely recommend.

The food and atmosphere in this restaurant are both very good and cater well for myself as a vegetarian. We liked it so much that my husband has booked it for his Rotary Charter dinner.

We have been in three of the restaurants at York racecourse and this is our favourite. Very close to the Sir Henry Cecil Gates we were welcomed on arrival with a locally distilled potato vodka. The menu was brief but tempting and the food was well prepared and served in plenty of time before the racing started. The balcony overlooks the parade ring, and there is a good view of the giant screen as well as smaller screens within the restaurant. It is not great to watch the track itself, as you are looking at the finishing line head on, however, you can go to the County Stand to get a better view.

We had a decent meal in the Paddock Restaurant. The staff were efficient & friendly. A shame the entertainment, Tom Jones, cancelled his concert at the last minute.
