Best Indian in Newport by a country mile! I've tried various places all over but since using Paprika I've not gone anywhere else since ... The curries are amazing, the chicken pakoras are the best I've ever had and the fresh naan's are just beautiful. I could eat from here everyday ...

Top service, top food always, they forgot to put a naan in our order tonight, they rang to let us know before my wife had even got back and it arrived before we’d dished up, can’t fault that service

First time ordering, really fast delivery. Food was really hot& tasty, best Indian we have had in ages. Chicken was really good, not gristly like some other places. Defo recommend!

Awful food!! It used to be really nice but our lady order was so bad we couldn’t even finish it. Unseasoned unsalted mains, cold old meat, old naan bread, fried mushrooms that weren’t fried. Food was cold and watery. Not a chance we order from them again! Absolutely disgusting.

Just had food from my favourite takeaway still got to be the best indian takeaway in newport there food no matter what you order is always like usual on point dont know what i do with out this place very very friendly servive superb open kitchen were everything is cooked wright in front your eyes keep great work up boys... ill be back

Had a lovely meal from paprika last night prawn biryani with loads of prawns and a vegetable curry, onion bhaji starter with salad and sauce and poppadoms it was absolutely fantastic

We ordered a takeaway to collect. Waiting time was adequate, food was piping hot, fresh and well presented. We tried two curries from the special menu, Butter Chicken and Deli Korai. We were very impressed, authentic flavours with loads of meat. Service was fantastic.

The food arrived more than 20 mins early and was absolutely stunning. We will be ordering again following the service we received tonight.

Always use Paprika for my tea, love their starters, always tasty. Chicken pakora is the best I have ever tasted. Always great friendly service and always ready when they say. Best Indian take away.

Appauling service! Very rude to talk to over the phone after my food was delivered an hour and a half later! Had to send the food back as it was cold! No apology from the staff therefore I wouldn't recommend this awful place 😡

We use this takeaway whenever we fancy eating Indian food. Very friendly staff, prompt service whether you're collecting or having your food delivered. We have tried several dishes on the menu and have never had a bad meal. The food is consistent, piping hot and well presented. The meat content in the curries is excellent- always plenty and the portion sizes are great. Exceptional food and a very good service too, I definitely recommend!

If I had one complaint it would be the masala was a bit too mild for my liking and just lacked that masala taste, apart from that it was ok. Not the best curry I've ever had but still decent enough. Hot on arrival, delivered earlier than first advised and decent portion sizes. If I was to go for a rating out of 10 I would give a 6. I still long to find a takeaway that blows me away and gives me a good falvoursome masala.

As per usual excellent yummilicious beriyani. The people at Paprika is always so friendly and accommodating to my unusual requests, so thank you very much guys!! I am definitely a returning and loyal customer. Nobody does keema naan & chicken tikka beriyani like Paprika does!! :)

Naan breads had a lot of burnt bits that was like grit on the teeth. Meat wasn’t of a high quality or was over cooked / over held. Keema rice was tasteless. Butter chicken sauce just tasted like blended vegetable soup. Chicken chat was chewy and missing the salad and dip. Would I order from here again? No!

Fantastic food, hygiene, staff and timing. Used when our usual place forgot to deliver and have been using them ever since.

The delivery driver was friendly and food arrived hot, despite taking 100 minutes from ordering and being 15 minutes late. The chicken tikka in the Korai was well flavoured and tender, the chicken in another curry was chewy and bland. Both mains (house specials) were very salty, but didn't have much depth of flavour. The sag aloo was very bland and the potatoes hard and undercooked. It wasn't terrible, but we've had better from other nearby restaurants.

Decent chutney tray that's about it. The worst byriani I've ever had. No flavour just pilau rice with chicken. Very bland. Lamb balti was a bit better but still average. Won't be returning.

Food was ok Turned up over an hour late

The chicken pakoras was soaked with fat. couldn't bring myself to try it because just by picking one up the fat dripped down my hand. I've had pakoras from other indian takeaways & they've never been soaked like these were. unfortunately this isn't the 1st time with paprika. The chicken balti was ok, but doesn't bring the spice. quite boring really. shame! the 1st ever delivery we had was lovely, just gone down hill since.

Very bland Chef Special dishes ~ if fact one of the main meal lamb dishes had no flavour other than burnt oil. TANDOORI dished doubt was in a tandoori oven > tasted very bland and oven/watery cooked > tandoori Prawn was terrible Maybe mid-week chef day off or something but cannot see myself ordering again

Inedible I'm afraid. Chicken tikka was flavourless but worse still, the wrong side of pink. Clearly not a tikka as undercooking would not happen. We had to cook it in a pan so it was safe to eat but even after that it was the worse tikka I've ever had. Only ordered from here as out usual was impeded by the friars walk closure. Won't be ordering again.

Ordered here a few times, food is beautiful. Not last night. Took 2hours to come & when it did forgot part of the meal we'd paid for which was for the kids so they had nothing even thougj they was excited! Never again!

Small portions of meat and too much greasy sauce in every dish didn't allow for sharing and made the experience very poor. Onion Bhaji's the size of walnuts was also a big surprise given the price with enough salad for only one serving. 3 Main dishes ordered with one rice which is usually enough but not in this case, barely enough rice to give 3 small portions. Overall a poor experience given the apparently high rating this restaurant has been given.

Coconut rice was burnt & tasteless. But apart from that the rest was lovely! Will order again but try something different

A family member who lives in Newport recommend Paprika. I had a chicken korma(on the menu it's spelt kurma) with pilau rice and my boyfriend's dad had meat samosas(you get three), lamb bhuna and pilau rice which came to £22 with 10% discount included. The korma was absolutely beautiful and there was a decent amount of chicken. Some places I've eaten from the pilau is yellow however here, the rice was mainly white with some red and green rice, which still tasted lovely. My boyfriend's dad throughly enjoyed his meal. I walked to order the food but they do offer free delivery within a three mile radius on ordered over £15. I liked that you can see their kitchen so you are aware of what's going on. One member of staff who was responsible for taking orders was very friendly and chatty.
