Absolutely love this place, amazing food always on time. Cannot fault, superb value for money. Best veggie dansak I've ever had.

I ordered a delivery for 7pm, it was half an hour late and was wrong. When I phoned to inform them and to ask for the item I hadn't got, I felt they really did not want to deliver the correct item. They said they would give it to me free next time I order from them. I wont be ordering from them again so this is not an option. However I persevered and was told as its Halloween they are really busy, I stood my ground and they said it will be over an hour for my missing item. It's been 50 minutes so well see. What I had received was nothing special so I will put this down to experience.

Order didn’t arrive 3 hours after ordering despite being told at 2 hours late that it was on its way. Restaurant then just cancelled order. Rude staff on phone and blatant liars. Avoid. Just Eat were of no help either. Restaurant said call just eat, just eat said call restaurant. Neither take responsibility. Will not use again.

I ordered a delivery via Just Eat. Estimated delivery time was 7.25, I called them at 8.15 wondering where my food was. The person on the phone said he would send it right away. No apology as to being almost an hour over time, no clue either as to whether it has been cooked or sitting in delivery bags for an hour. I gave really clear directions to my home as it often gets mixed up with same number different road. Got a phone call from the delivery driver who was nowhere near, so I asked him to stay on the line and I would direct him, he hung up. When food did get to mine it was just about luke warm. I will never use them again

We have only had one takeaway from here and it was disgusting. I will generally eat anything but this just was not edible. It was swimming in fat and we honestly did not know what dish was what.

I called up for a delivery whilst on the phone, he was extremely snappy and rushed to finish the order. He spoke very quickly and kept saying yes to every everything I said not giving me time to finish. I ordered 4 poppadoms and when it arrived, I opened the bag to find only 1. I then called up again to ask where the other 3 were, they rudely replied that I had only ordered 1, and then HUNG UP!! Terrible service.

Yuck!!! Not good at all! No flavour, nann not cooked chutney had a hair in it! Most went in the bin!

Went on the web found a web site for this place ordered and paid by PayPal I thought I would call the takeaway to confirm that I had paid and my order would be delivered they told me they don't have a web site they shut it down 1 year ago so I call the web site telephone number and was told my order had just been placed along with 4 others and by the way it was. £ 1.20 cheaper on the web than if I called and ordered , Called papadom back and said you have just received my order all they kept saying well I don't know where the money goes who do they pay by this time I did not care sort it out papadom if you want to keep business and loyal customers this is about the 6-8 meals I have ordered from you customer service is everything and then they said call us instead of using the web site . By the way as usual the food was great , !!

Have tried most of the Indians in and around town. Can honestly say this is the nicest Indian we have ever had . Definitely our new favourite, and will only order from here in future 🙌🏻

First time using them and it was superb!!! They delivered 20 mins early, food was piping hot and very tasty!! Highly recommended!

The food was alright but it was very late and I had to call twice before the delivery person even got there. Not sure if I will be ordering from here again. The honey chicken dish was really tasty. That was probably the highlight of the meal.

Have recently gone back to Papadoms and found the food so much better. Delivery was way before the stated time

It's always lovely food and this time it was delivered really quickly - but you never get the free drink that's advertised on here unless you argue it and that is a shame.

Why bother leaving a note when they can't be bothered to read it ! It will always be a problem when they don't read the notes

Absolute jock!They added ten minutes to the order and it came 25 minutes after the added time so in all it took an hour and 20 minutes.The problem was not the long wait but when I called to find out where the food was,the first guy passed the phone to a lady who asked the guy how long but instead he just hanged up on me.I couldn't be bothered to call back and ask why they hanged up.

Whilst the order was as delicious as always, yet again the incorrect food was delivered. Order two meat dishes but was delivered one meat and one chicken.

This is at least the fourth time in six months I have ordered a takeaway and the restaurant have forgotten an item. Even if they return fairly quickly, the item is not what I've ordered and I can't be bothered to await a second attempt. If the food wasn't so yummy I wouldn't have attempted so many repeat orders, however, I will have to find an alternative as this is beyond irritating on the night!!! 5* for food, 1* for service..... What a shame.

Bland horrible Lamb Jalfrezi, hardly any chillis in it either. Naan bread thick and doughy. All luke warm as well. Gut ache for rest of night and next day.

Breads, side and veggie curry was fine. Boyfriend found a rancid bit of meat in his which has put him off of both meat and curry. Granted may be a one off but not worth risking again.

After 45 mins called again, was told they couldn't contact the delivery driver.....And hour later and still no sign Going to get other food now, from somewhere else as it is 21:20 and we are all too hungry . We ordered our meal through Just Eat, we placed the order at 17:05 on Sunday evening and the website quoted a delivery time of 17:55. It actually arrived at 18:20 but the food was hot and everything was cooked to perfection. We also got given a bottle of Pepsi, not sure if this was just a free gift or compensation for the wait.

After taking 1 hour and 45 mins to get our food it was cold and could tell it had just been sitting there and half of hour order was missing! When calling up they just said sorry it's a busy night will not be ordering from them again.

Haven't enjoyed an indian like that in a long time, and to top my meal off i ordered a cheesecake which was absolutely gorgeous!! Great food at a great price with fast delivery!!

I have had food from here before and it as ever was superb quality food. This time however the delivery time was ridiculous to say the least - it was 45 minutes later than the delivery time that was stated at time of ordering and I received no courtesy e-mail or phone call to say that there would be a delay. I had to start a chat session with the team at Just-Eat and I must say that although they were polite, if I am ordering via their website interface I would have expected them to be a bit more proactive too other than just chasing the restaurant and telling me to submit a review for the order. If you are given an EDT pre submitting an order at least have the courtesy to keep the customer informed of any delay. We all have unexpected events in our lives that cause delays but if you are providing a service, it is how you deal with them and keep the customer informed that is the critical point.

Usually great. However nearly an hour wait to be delivered and did not deliver poppadoms I paid for. Didn't bother ringing back as it took so long to deliver to begin with.

A very enjoyable meal. Impressed with the amount of chicken in the Korma, always like a good amount of Chicken in a Korma. The Peshwari Naan was very good & moist. Would recommend.

I have to say that my Wife - the Veggie - & I were very pleased with our food from Papadom Indian. I got a huge 9 pieces of chicken in my Korma fabulous, though I will always welcome more, but that's just me. I fact its so good, we are re-ordering the exact meal again, one week on from our previous order(6 June) :D

Was an hour and a half between order and delivery. The one Chef's Special that we ordered was made with 2 tiny chicken leg quarters and not worth the money at all. The other dishes were alright but nothing to write home about. Would not order from here again.

Took 45 minutes longer than my estimated delivery time. Korma and masala was very Watery. Wasn't Overlying hot - glad I warmed my plates up! Nan was cold. Not Over all impressed. I won't be using them again...

Used to be my favourite Indian takeaway but last two orders have had mistakes.... Desserts wrong in both occasions and vegetable samosa ordered but meat version delivered. Disheartened that a call wasn't made to ask if alternative dessert was acceptable and starter was just an attention to detail error, however, as this is second time order has been wrong, I will be looking for an alternative as can't rely on items ordered versus those delivered.

Food was of good quality. However the order was requested for 6-30pm, and instead arrived at 5-50pm, forty minutes early and before the family were home to eat it, so had to be placed in oven to keep warm.

This is about the 5th time we've ordered from here, the other times it was lovely (nice food delivered quickly). This time was not so good, we were told up to 1 hour delivery but is took 1 hour 45 minutes, we were absolutely starving. They also delivered the wrong naan breads. Beware, they are a bit hit and miss!

So it was all going well with my vegetable Korma... Then my boyfriend cut into a piece of chicken IT WAS BRIGHT PINK!!!!!!!!!!!! We are now waiting for food poisoning to kick in! Would definitely NOT recommend the food at this restaurant! APPAULING.

I won't eat an Indian meal from anywhere else. Had about a dozen takeaways and each one has been delicious, on time and top quality meat and flavours.

After years of being a loyal customer we will never order from here again. After half hour over estimated delivery time, I called the restaurant to enquire where our order was. After being referred to the manager I was fobbed off with the excuse of 'its on its way' with no sort of apology of it being late as and then hung up on. OK the food was good but what's the point of ordering when its going to be ridcously late? Other curry houses in Harlow will get our business in futuy

Always purchase the same food, perfect every time, hot and never repeats on me after. Not the same as proper Indian takeaways like in London where the food has heat and spice but for Harlow Popadoms is the best place to eat in my opinion. Excellent service and food, love it!!

This is the worst meal we have had from this takeaway. After several good meals, what a disappointment. The the prawn biryani had chicken in, the chicken biryani was tasteless and cold. The one pappadum received was broken into several pieces. Could go on, but will not be using again.

Third time ordering from Papadom and each and every time the food has been stunning. It's my No.1 favourite Indian takeaway and would highly recommend them to any newbies using this site.
