Such a lovely family cafe. Superb staff, excellent coffee and family friendly. Seaford has a real community feel and this cafe which is right alongside the play park, rugby club and across the road from the beach is a favourite.

We arrived on a windy lunchtime. Sat in the conservatory(? ) The service was a bit disorganised, but overall very friendly. The lady in charge the day we were there knew everything, unfortunately the lady on the till didn't, which caused a bit of a queue. Also a bit of a sort out of the seating would help in the area we sat. However, we all enjoyed our food and would certainly return if we are in the Seaford again.

I really don't know how AMY does it when it is busy. Like today fortunately most customers l think are regulars and don't mind waiting. *****+ for Amy

Nice location and diner redecorated beautifully inside however the counter staff haven’t got a clue. Totally disorganised. Queuing system is back to front. Older lady on the till cannot work it properly and takes ages. The other staff just stand waiting for her when they could be making your order. I waited ages then the till woman took my money & proceeded to make 2 coffees whilst 2 other staff just stood there. My latte was ok but husbands americano just tasted of hot water. Noticed other people also complaining. Won’t be going back there.

This cafe appears to be entirely staffed by bewildered uninterested teenagers. I ordered some food and drinks. They gave me the correct drinks and one I hadn't ordered which it transpired I had paid for. We sorted that out and after an excessive wait during which I discovered that there is no wifi, two of my three food items arrived. I waited and waited for the third item and when chased it I was told - there are six orders in front of you, despite having already received the first items. When the final item arrived it was not quite wat I had ordered but by then I past complaining. I suspect that there is no wifi to stop immdeiate reviews! I will not be returning.

I've visited this café a few times as my Dad(who suffers from memory issues) likes it. He feels confident to go for a cuppa on his own as Amy ( in charge on the days we go)is so kind. she She makes people feel they matter. She now knows how Dad likes his tea and she prepared the best cheese& tomato toastie (he has a poor appetite but unasked ,Amy arranged one serving on 2 plates which looked( and tasted) delicious. I saw several single older clients sitting reading the newspaper with a coffee and Dad said they were regulars too. Amy was kind and chatty to all and coped well when she had a queue as she was on her own and doing the till plus drinks plus food! Ideal dog walkers destination as dogs welcome and Mums can chat whilst watching the kids play on the climbing frames .This is multigenerational community living at its best. Thanks Amy!

During the week service is very good and friendly l think the ladies name is Amy. BUT weekends is not good youngster's who would rather talk or play with their mobile. We were refused a bacon sandwich saying the kitchen closed at 2 the time was 1 Min pass 2 NOT GOOD.

After a very windy afternoon at the park, we went in seeking shelter from the rain. The lovely Chris and the other lady working alongside her made us feel so welcome, helped me choose a little snack that wouldn’t interfere with my stepson’s dinner and made my fussy order of a espresso with an extra shot of hot water perfect to my taste! Plus Chris’s contagious laughter and chat fills the place with joy! I can’t complain, great service with laughs, excellent coffee! Thank you! Carolina Campbell

Today I visited the Salts cafe with my family. We had sausage sandwiches and chips. The chips were under cooked, the sandwiches were on clearly defrosted stale and dry granary bread. There were 2 young girls staffing the cafe, one serving and one cooking, they could not cope with the customers. In addition, people sitting outside with dogs were letting them run inside the cafe and the cafe kitchen. Staff could not cope with this as well. Overall the food was adequate, not good nor worth the money. The floor of the cafe was dirty from the dogs, but again staff not able to cope with that as well as serve. I will not be returning.
