Feeling shame for being a customer for many years. 52 Broadwater Rd, Worthing BN14 8AG They have given half cooked pizza - but good part is that I found the quality of cheese they are using. it's like an expired synthetic s**t, it's bitter and pale coloured BE CAREFUL - will never eat outside.

I ordered two pizzas on line to be delivered early evening at lunch time. Unfortunately I ordered both pizzas the same. Realised my mistake when confirmation was emailed to me almost immediately. Telephoned them straight away to change the order and was told this was OK. No such luck, 2 pizzas arrived on time exactly the same. Your loss Papa John's Worthing, all my future orders will go to another company.

AVOID delivery driver nearly took my door of the hinges with his loud bang!! Took 2 hours to come Food stone cold and hard! My dog wouldn’t even touch it!! Staff are very rude and didn’t care he’s response was he can’t help being busy with service and food like that surprised it’s not been closed down

Delivery driver hammered my door ! Even tho I have a door bell , woke the children up ! Food arrived cold and bbq chicken pizza was drenched in bbq sauce and battered !

Awful. Missing items. Stone cold. Avoid. Papa Johns use to be a solid place for a good value pizza which was constantly good, not anymore.

As it took 26 minutes for my pizza to travel from the shop to my home (2.5 miles), it's no surprise that it and the side were both only warm at best - £2.49 charge, for warm at best / cold the rest = means that I will never shop with this company again.

I would love to give this place 5 stars as I regularly ordered through the covid lockdowns. However in the last year/ year and a half, they have had a changeover of management and unfortunately it's gone completely downhill. Most recent order had me and my friend and partner waiting over an hour with the online tracker not making any progress whatsoever. I tried to call several times but the call just wouldn't go through. My friend and partner also tried calling. Waited another half hour before deciding to go to tescos to get dinner as we weren't going to spend money on another takeaway. Got home and cooked tesco pizza, just for my friend to joke about making a bet that the pizza would arrive 5 minutes before they shut. Low and behold, he was right. Tesco pizza cooked and sitting down to eat at almost 11pm, the door knocks and I outright refuse the delivery and request a refund. In total, we waited 1 hour and 35 minutes. Today I received no call back or email to confirm I would be refunded. So I visited the branch to ask for a refund in person. The guy who I talked to didn't offer any apologies, was rather rude with his tone and didn't come across as friendly. Fingers crossed I should get a refund within 5 days. This Papa Johns was honestly a favourite of mine from 2020-2021 but sad to say, I won't be ordering again. I really recommend you don't order from this branch. I'm not the only one, many people have had orders not turn up, phone calls left unanswered and have experienced rude and subpar service. Which is a shame because the pizza is great.

I won’t order from here anymore. Order took ages, was cold on arrival and item missing. Delivery driver said they would refund but upon calling the shop, staff refused and were rude and unhelpful.

This place used to be decent, but now the food and service are both awful. The last time I ordered, I had to call 6 times to chase, and they had given my food to some random person near my house. (alledgedly) - My re-made food then arrived after midnight. The next time (today) I had to phone 5 times, 4 calls were ignored and rang off, the 5th time I was lied to and told the food was already on its way. 40 minutes later it arrived, cold, missing a sauce, and inedible because the sausage had gone off and tainted the dough. I threw it in the bin. Go somewhere else.

It clearly says on the delivery instructions when ordering “deliver to the back door”, as this has been ignored multiple times in the past I phoned the branch to tell them directly, this instruction also did not filtered down to the delivery person who seemed rather uncaring when I told him. As the intercom system on my front door does not work I would not have known he was there at all had I not seen him come up the driveway through the window - absolutely appalling service considering this notice was on the online order AND a phone call. The pizza was good

Quality has massively decreased, manager very rude on the phone, order missing multiple items every time I order

Was left waiting for 16 minutes after the time said to collect as they hadn’t even made the pizza yet. While waiting, witnessed a member of staff knock food waiting to be collected onto the floor before returning to shelf to go out.

All went as expected. Great pizza

It was about 2 hours late and cold so it’s gone in the bin fantastic.

Ordered a pizza at 17.20pm. Estimated delivery time between 18.00 and 18.20. Still waiting! No one answering the phone when telephoning for an update. Very poor.

Only problem I had was I brought a £6 tub of ice cream but it never got delivered

I just found out that they intentionally put a non vegan dip with the vegan pizzas as "papa johns" protocol! How on earth can they think that is ok?

The only bad thing I would say is that there’s no way that was an XXL pizza! I’ve had pizza here many times before and the XXL was enormous! This one was large at best. Other than that the pizza was lovely but value for money isn’t great.

Delivery person was rude, obnoxious, intimidating, aggressive and incredibly lazy. Didnt bother to look for number of property instead said would take my order back and make out i wasnt home! Demanded i go and collect my order and when finally came to my door, threw my order at me whilst huffing and puffing. Called restaurant spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager. Was disinterested, unhelpful and clearly had no customer service skills. Will never order from them again.

All I can think is that the pizza was previously made, and just kept warm, the base and crust was tough and lacked freshness the topping was suppose to be a meat feats but you wouldn't recognise it as so and was basically tasteless apart from the overwhelming amount of sweetness as if they had dropped a bag of sugar over the top, The temperature was just about warm. maybe I was unlucky or maybe you like this quality of pizza personally I wont be ordering from there again. I will just go to the supermarket and buy one of the off the shelf fresh pizza a much better use of my money

The food was nice but when you order a pizza you should get the topping all over the pizza not 55% of the pizza disappointed to be honest and I paid extra for toppings I’ve had papa John’s before but this one was 6 out of 10

We ordered the big match bundle which includes 2 large pizzas, 2 sides and a drink. There was an error with one of the bundles and it included a topping that was not meant to be on the pizza and we called to highlight the issue and to ask for a partial refund and the store were not at all helpful. They refused to issue a refund and said we could only wait for a fresh pizza to be delivered, but we said this option was not feasible as some of the group had already begun eating and it would be too late by the time it came. We were told the only options would be to either wait for a new pizza or get a free pizza the next time we ordered, but we said we wouldn’t use them again and they said the most they could do was refund £6, despite this being a £22 pizza on an order for over £40. It is not the first time the quality of a pizza from this store was not great, but this time the customer service was shocking.

Very good dinner - pepperoni pizza with green peppers and stuff crust and beestings bites side And incredibly through offers on the website and oyalty points the whole meal cost only £11!!

Ordered twice from papa John's over past few weeks. First time over 1 hour late. Second time ordered 2.5 hrs beforehand n still late!! Very disappointing service. Won't be using them again.

I had a medium pizza with the barbecue sauce base, chicken, bacon and sweetcorn. It looked good and tasted ok, but it could have been warmer

Food was great. I left a note asking to not knock on door but was ignored. Driver knocked anyway and woke up my 7 month old and dogs which caused chaos! Cheers for that! Ended up eating a cold pizza!

Driver wasn’t wearing mask properly and shoved my receipt in the side of the box which mashed the receipt into my brownie - hardly COVID safe and meant that part of my order was inedible!!! Not impressed, more hygienic care needed!

Pizza is amazing a lot better than Dominos, sticking to these guys now

Never ordered from here before but will definitely be ordering again. Food quality was really good, I’m vegetarian and I ordered multiple sides and all were very nice. Food came literally about 10 minutes after I ordered (I live a few roads away but I didn’t think it would be that quick!) thank you :)

Pizza had to much fatty bacon on it and couldn’t eat it, food turn up cold, delivery driver drive past us 5 times looking for us.

A tasty American Hot with added Green Peppers and Stuffed Crust! Best part though was the side - beesting bites - it sounds odd having pepperoni and chillis with honey, but it soooo works! The heat inside then the cooling honey is just perfect

food was great but was issue with deliveery as driver thought he gave me 2 pizza instead of one and took a lot of convincing that i only had 1 pizza and 1 side as i had ordered

For a XXI pizza it’s disappointing at leat I was expecting 18 inch for 20 ponds that I paid , the pan it’s nice but taste more like bread .

Delivery driver was rude and bought the wrong sized drink, said he was going to come back but never did.

No drink was delivered, the pizza was cold and no receipt , so i can't claim back the money as my company pays for my meals...really bad experience, I will certainly not order papa John's again,neither me or any of my colleagues.

This was expensive. The side was ok for something from the freezer but not worth the money. And it seemed to be offered with a dip, but I was charged extra for this as well. Usually there is a deal with the shop but I couldn’t get into their website, so I ordered through Just Eat. The two vouchers I found on line wouldn’t work, so I paid £30 for something that I expected to pay £20 for, and was only worth £15. A shame.

Ordered the vegan pizza and it was delicious! Arrived hot and very quickly. Definitely recommend 👌

Just fancied dessert and it didn’t disappoint..... brownie, cookie and cinnamon rolls were all massive and hit the spot

I love papa johns, tonight I was disappointed I ordered the works which was awful very moist a weird Chinese tasting topping But also bland. The meat feast we ordered was lovely so not sure as the only difference between the 2 is one had mushroom n olives? I’ve had it before and it didn’t taste like this so maybe a new chef?

When I phoned papa John's 1hour 45 minutes after ordering I was told they hadn't received my order and had to search there system for it. Your system obviously isn't working so I won't be using it again.

We used to order from dominos and pizza hut. Thought we'd give Papa John's a try and I'm so glad we did. The pizzas are always full of topping and cheese, no stingy pizzas here. Sides are lovely, especially the garlic pizza bread with cheese. The service is always good, delivery time quick and a polite driver. Definitely our favourite takeaway now :)

This is the first time we had pizza from here and must say favour it over other more popular pizza takeaways. We could have a large pizza split into two different flavours and two side dishes for a very reasonable price and above all was very tasty.

Not at all impressed with the pizza I ordered this week. The vegan cheese was dreadful. I phoned to complain and ask for a refund or exchange pizza and the guy was very rude to me. Shall not be using this chain again.

Very soggy, bland and rubbery Garden Party stuffed crusted pizza. Not warm, with sides of undercooked wedges with bland tasting cheese and bacon. Total mess of a presentation. Total mess, total disaster. Never again.

After trying most of the other pizza places in town we tend to use Papa Johns most times now as we like their deep pan bases, the toppings are good and plentiful and the delivery is usually quick with the food nice and hot.The chicken dippers are also particularly good but the potato wedges are not crisp enough and appear to go soggy in transit.There's always lots of deals to be had so you shouldn't ever need to pay full price, making it good value too.

I had a very nice pizza.It began life as an American Hot, but I added red and green peppers to make it (what I’ve called in my favourites) an American Sizzler.Delicious pizza that made my mouth feel like it was burning. A fire that was softened by the Stuffed Crust - only that made another slice bearable to allow me to finish the whole thing.The sign of good food is exciting the senses then cleansing the pallet before it becomes too strong.

My son talked me into getting a pizza from here. He actually enjoyed his but mine was a soggy greasy mass. Potato wedges were undercooked and inedible. Never again. A complete waste of money.

This is easily the best Pizza take-away - been getting Pizza from Papa Johns for 3 or 4 years now Always delivered quickly - avg 20 mins - hot, & by a friendly driver the ingredients look and taste fresh & overall flavor is very more-ishthey also take PayPal which is very handylooked back at some earlier reviews and quite surprised at the negative tone of some - I suspect these are false reviews by competitors ( Pizza market very competative in Worthing ) - every Pizza I've ordered has been great

I had a double pepperoni pizza, it was very tasty. And even nicer was the stuffed crust 😋 The delivery took a while though

Never had Papa Johns before, always been Dominos sort of people - but thought we would give it a try as Dominos let us down the last time we had them.

I had a takeaway last night and it was very nice - I have had problems in the past with thier deep pan pizza (there was so much cheese even on standard topping that when it melted it rolled over the crust, burnt and formed a blackened rim around the pizza leaving the crust underneath undercooked)

Simple really, ordered up across the web for collection. Arrived when advised, difficult to wait in the entrance due to a small waiting area. The team there really pulled out all the stops for me, acknowledged my arrival and threw in a bottle of drink too. Will return when back in Findon...

First time I have ever ordered a pizza online. Most impressed no sooner had we ordered it the friendly delivery guy was at the door. Pizza was delicious , will certainly reorder.

Tried for the first time Papa Johns in zaandam, we were very disappointed, the staff were very nice but the pizzas are terrible, very very Bready although i realise some people like them this way, but that wasnt the biggest problem the ingredients are terrible and the spices are terrible no oregano or garlic nothing !!!!

They do nice pizza here but I don’t like the idea of the delivery drivers cutting/ touching the pizza with out washing there hands and also after handing money they done this every time iv been in there bit unhygienic

Spoiled our dinner plan.Ordered a garden party pizza which was supposed to have freshly sliced red onions, crisp green peppers, cherry tomatoes, juicy sweetcorn and baby portobello mushrooms. El peor servicio al cliente que he soportado! Tanto así que tengo captura todos los detalles pertinentes de este evento! Intenté ordenar del sitio web en el que se mantuvo, por lo que decidí rompiendo ring al lado de la tienda para que sea más fácil para ambas partes. Cuando comprobando cómo mucho que me cobraron en mi banca online (como no pude oír en el teléfono) sobrepasa la cantidad especificada en la página web previamente. Así que llamé para preguntar, me reuní con un grosero, brusco y desinteresado quien dijo que era porque no había pedido en el sitio web - cuando le expliqué mi problema con ser indiferente, él simplemente me pasaron a un hombre que gritaba, ni siquiera presentarse- comportamiento juvenil y que parecía no poder hablar mucho inglés. Me decidí a pedir un reembolso como el proceso de simplemente pedir una pizza se había vuelto tan desagradable e incómoda que no valía la pena la molestia! El hombre en el teléfono se negó mi reembolso diciendo que había hecho la pizza en el horno y para ser honesto era irrelevante y no era mi problema, de todos modos, pero aun así la diferencia de tiempo entre la primera llamada de teléfono de ordenar y éste había sido tan rápido que lo dudo. No tener ningún sentido de este miembro del personal pedí un director que parece ser que fue el propio naming como Isis Mohammed? ! . . . . Entonces terminó la conversación decidir sin tratar esto con su equipo de hr como yo también estaba trabajando y no podía tomar el tiempo para discrepar en tales circunstancias ridículo. Esperamos a que la pizza nunca llegó, aunque el dinero fue sacado de mi cuenta y cuando conseguimos volver Papa Johns sonando sin respuesta. Estoy furioso, trabajando con el público en general yo simplemente no es un comportamiento aceptable y el personal claramente hicieran ruido y creo que sus clientes son una broma! Yo nunca l volveremos - no es que esto te moleste ninguno de los representantes de Papa Johns que hable y me van a conseguir un reembolso.

An utterly mediocre experience, I've eaten better Pizzas from a supermarket, service takes ages because they're too busy doing deliveries, don't believe the advertising hype, there are far better places to get Pizza than this.
