Papa John's Pizza in North Somerset

Love their pizza, but waiting well over an hour after multiple times ordering from here. currently still waiting for my pizza after 2 hours!! Says 20-40 mins on Deliveroo. Absolute joke!

Dominoes it is then! Third time in a row we waited 1.5 hours for delivery. The first time there was something wrong with the ovens. The second and third the issue was being understaffed. One driver and one person inside. We called twice and politely asked for an update and was met with TERRIBLE, RUDE customer service. Management get your house in order!

Unfortunately the shop only had one driver working tonight for deliveries. As such, it took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. However, the food was excellent and hot! Delivery driver was very friendly and polite. We will definitely use again and recommend 👍

Terrible customer service, and I've enjoyed them better than Domino's for months. Spoke to Courtney tonight about them getting my order wrong, and got zilch customer feedback or service. they all couldn't wait to go home. Improve your customer skills, Papa's because I've praised you for them in the past. No more though. CEO - sort out your Weston branch, or please train them up..

Fresh food but not easy to get thier by car you have to walk it's only take away or delivery

2hr wait for delivery. I rang after an hour and they didn't seem bothered. No compensation or apology.

We have been waiting 1.5 hrs for our pizzas. Still no sign of them. Never again. So disappointing.

This is a collective feedback from my experience throughout last 18 months. If you are lucky, you can get a decent pizza here, but if the franchise is busy only. Out of busy hours pizza will be cold and excessively greasy (?). Opening times doesn’t mean anything, if your order is early (first 3 hours after opening) or late (last hour or two) expect a phone call and explanation that oven is not working. It’s ok to run the business efficiently, but this is a bit too far. I like Papa’s, but this one is seriously underperforming.

First time I tried Papa John's veg.pizza and I don't like it. The base was full with tomato sauce which gives an unpleasant taste. Moreover the ketchup ( Garlic) quality was poor. It has a watery texture which I don't like.

The best option for meat free and vegan pizza.

I have been eating pizza all my life and Papa John's have always been the best.. Taste, quality and generosity... No other pizza chain can compete with these guys I got a large garden party pizza from Weston super mare store in regent Street. This girl called Leah had created a winner... The toppings were generous and the hot piping pizza tasted like heaven.. These guys are the best and I can very confidential say the people who make pizza know what they are doing

Food was warm ish at best, and that's being generous. Extra topping which was paid for was not added. Drink forgotten and when we did receive the drink and the "new" pizza with the paid for added extra topping, it was not worth the wait, the money or quite frankly my time leaving a review at the time. Awful. Papa John's had a good reputation, until now.

Used to be my go to pizza take away until they changed their delivery range without telling me no email nothing. Tried to contact them to see why but to no response. Would recommend them maybe moving to a central local to Weston and Worle otherwise can see them closing down soon seeing as their competition deliver direct all over the town. If you do live within 10meters though would recommend

SHOCKING. Placed a order for delivery at 19:47 and the time got to 21:40 so thought I would ring to find out where the food is.. with this a woman answered the phone and I asked where the food was, with this she told me "the delivery driver had walked out 5 minutes ago". So I had been waiting all this time with no food, no notification from papa johns whilst I waited for absolutely nothing and to top it off the food was never coming. Absolute joke.

As far as pizza goes this is good. Price and deals are pretty much the same as any other takeaway pizza place you order from in terms of your Pizza Hut and Domino's. I have ordered from here twice now and it has been better than the local Domino's and Pizza Hut in my opinion. Generally a better variety of pizzas in my view also. I find Pizza Hut and Domino's do the same pizzas and it just gets a bit boring. I typically order from here now and pick it up. The bee sting bites looked nothing like how they were advertised, but they tasted good! Maybe try to get these a bit more presentable? On the other hand, if they do not look exactly like they do on the tin, then these must be made fresh, which is good clearly! Would order from here again. The bee

Service terrible as I should have expected reading reviews. However I thought things may have got better sadly not. Staff are not verbally rude but just treat you like a inconvenience. Short large girl has a chip on her shoulder about something but didn’t bother to ask

Nice pizza ruined by the garlic sauce that comes with it. It’s like gone off butter that’s been left out of the fridge for months bright yellow, stinks and doesn’t taste like garlic. That’s us until we forget how vile the sauce is again!

Tracking showed that our order was delivered 15 minutes before it was actually delivered, when it did turn up the food was cold, we had to put it in the microwave, first and last time we order from here.

Rude people acting like a gang ready to fight. Total lack of common sense, professionalism 0, respect 0! Papa John s Weston-super-Mare =0 quality.

Pizza took too long to be delivered and was pretty much cold on delivery.... The topping for a half and half pizza was also not applied very carefully. I expect some overlap but my son found onion from my half in the middle of his half... A disappointing order, will try again however due to apologetic and polite lady when I called about the problems

When I popped in to the restaurant in order to get some food around 6 pm Tuesday, the guy who was taking order was very rude, fair enough they were very busy that night so I thought that it's not a big deal as we are all human beings at the end of the day and most of us know how difficult it is to work under the pressure. Than I've been informed by one of the staff member that I might have to wait 30-40 mins if I want to order in and he advised me to order online as it would be quicker he said. So 5 minutes later around 6:20 pm I did order online. Around 7:30 I was still waiting for the food so I decided to give them a call just to find out that it's still being cooked. Ok I thought I don't mind waiting a little bit extra as Another 40 minutes passed and another call to the restaurant just to hear from a really rude staff member. That was enough to put me away from eating with you guys ever again. Nearly two and a half hours waiting time is just ridiculous, plus very rude and mean staff.. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

This branch had some quality and staffing issues a few months ago. It appeared they had resolved the matters, but it seems not. When you can get a delivery, the food is usually oaky, but they have some way to go.

Use to love Ordering from here , best I town . They no longer allow you to use there app, and since they have gone to just eats for delivery it’s now double the price. Disappointed with them and now they are greedy too !!!! . Will say the food is amazing though. Just the price isn’t acceptable !!!

DISGUSTING service, do not order from them if you actually want a pizza. We ordered two pizzas and received confirmation at 5:55, they arrived at 8:55, THREE HOURS LATER. Just eat advised 7:10 as the ETA, so I called at 7:30 and was told sorry the driver broke down, it'll be there in 10 to 15 minutes. Another 30 minutes later and they just hung up on me without speaking, I called over 35 times in the next hour and they repeatedly hung up on me. Three hours in and we'd been to the shop and bought dinner instead.

Usually no problems with this store, most of the time delicious food and good service. Recently I ordered over £25 worth of food and mistakenly it was marked for collection not delivery. I phoned the store to ask for delivery and was informed of a £2.50 extra charge, strange addition when there is no delivery charge when i usually order the same amount. Quite disappointed...

Food was fine, but we waited 2 HOURS for it. The shop is only a 5 minute drive from ours. It would have been a polite gesture to let us know they were having delays with delivery. I would have been happy to collect instead.

The food is nice but two hours from order to delivery is a joke in this and age. Sorry but dominoes gets my money from now on.

Ordered at 20:00, waited until 21:30 and still no food so I called up and asked what was happening and they said it was ready but was waiting on a driver. Waited until 22:00 and still no food, so called up again and they said it was on it's way. It finally got to 22:30 and food finally shows up just before I am about to go to bed. I had 2 slices, but it was absolutely vile and you could tell it had been sat in the box for well over 1 hour, it was stone cold and dried out.

Nice and simple pizza , location is very easy to access, just behind the bus stop , at the middle of the downtown, price is suitable, fast service.

Good online offers, very quick delivery, great quality and XXL size available, what more can you ask for. Well worth a try if you tend to stick to Dominos or Pizza Hut, as this may be a new favourite for you

I had a amazing experience I had a xxl stc pizza I really enjoyed and the staff were so amazing I loved them better than pizza hut and dominoes pizza papa all the way

Good food and service, but too expensive

Dont understand the bad reviews ...my experience was very good ...delivered before time ...50% off...very nice taste and I dont have tomato sauce on pizza so asked for garlic sauce instead and it came with a really lush garlic butter... So yeah all good here will be using again

This is the second time, eating there stone cold pizzas, i even put note saying that pizzas wore cold last time. shame on you who ever managing this branch, it's not cut out for you, read all the reviews and its the same story. From now I will stick to Dominoes never had issues with food not being hot...

The first time I ordered from Papa John's having heard it was the best, they put sausage on it that I didn't order. Not much flavour overall, despite the unwanted sausage! It arrived in half hour. The second time, ordered chicken wings BUT we waited an hour. On calling were told the delivery man said he rang bells and called out but couldn't get a response. We were outside waiting and never saw anybody. He found us quick enough second time? It was lukewarm by the time we got it & we had to warm it all up but the chicken was delicious. Bit pointless really paying £30 + waiting 90 mins. and still have to wait to warm it up!! Quicker, cheaper to go Tesco and buy their ready-cooked chicken !

Fab food and staff was a mishap with site they replaced pizza which was fantastic and tasty 🖤

Waited longer than expected for our pizzas. They were bland and tasteless. Prices are really good and we MIGHT order from here again, but not without checking Dominos and Pizza Hut first.

Absolutely awful. Took an hour and a half to arrive. After 30 minutes told they didn't have my toppings. The pizza was bland and luke warm. Toppings were all round the edge and hardly any sauce. Cookie was bland and couldn't even eat more than a bite. Got refused a refund and told we would have to go through PayPal because that's how we paid. They aren't replying to PayPal. Made a complaint on feedback. And they said they couldn't give a refund because we didn't return the pizza on the night. But I wasn't told that I needed to on that night. And by the time it got to me it was the middle of the night I'm not walking 25 minutes into town. Literally don't even bother.

2 hour wait for a pizza .Not impressed.

We thought we would try here tonight instead of dominoes pizza and I’m sorry to say I found it awful the waiting time for what we ordered seem to take forever and also when it arrived it was luke warm and very tasteless indeed , so for us I won’t be using papa johns ever again and will stick to what’s best which is dominoes pizza
