Papa John's Pizza in Norwich

They always treated us very well, attentive and when something went wrong, ready to make it up for it. That's the reason why we keep going to their one!

The restaurant did not even attended to deliver my food ! Even though it said in the website it was delivered and when u called the restaurant they made up every excuse and didn’t even offer a refund ! Appalling customer service!

It was only lukewarm and quite sparse on the topics

It was cold and it was not what I ordered, I ordered a Ben and Jerrys Chocolate Fudge ice cream and I got a brownie.

waited over 30 minutes past the Eta for my food to get here, I called the restaurant 15 minutes after and they said they just left, the place is a few minutes walking distance...

Pizzas were ok. Service was a little slow though.

Ordered food at 19:40 and was given a delivery window of 20:10 - 20:30. Around 20:15 I got notified that it was out for delivery. It didn’t show by 20:35 so I asked for an update via the Just Eat app. I got a message saying it had left the shop and should be with me by 20:55. It arrived around 21:05. I wouldn’t have ordered if I had known it would take an hour and a half to be delivered, so it was disappointing that the original estimate was so far out.

Can’t go wrong the ole uncle papa johns. I know you get a bad name sometimes but I love you and so much better than Dominos. Would highly recommend guys

They don’t deliver the order and can’t return money back

Pizza took 35 minutes to deliver when I live 10 mins from restaurant. Rang the restaurant twice and both staff members put the phone down on me with no answer to were my food was. 3rd time I rang I got the manager and all he kept saying was it was on its way then when I said it was rubbish service he said he'd remake my pizza. This restaurant has no clue what's going on. Order from elsewhere.

The food was not to standard at all, I normally always order my Chinese from here and is lovely but this time was the worst one I’ve ever had.

Google map showed they are open. Visited them at 15 and they were closed.

Ordered food said it was confirmed waiting for updates said it was being cut then I went on the website because it had been a while and said it had an issue with details or something check email received no email, called 5 times they have closed still haven’t confirmed if they are still delivering my order now it’s to late from any where else, definitely won’t order again or recommend

Delivered quickly and still warm which is rare for pizza deliveries. Top quality driver

No correspondence from the shop, called 50 times no answer. Food then turns up 1 hours and 30 mins later when if already reordered else where. Absolutely shocking service. I would like a full refund on my order, as I was not provided with my order. Disgusting customer service!!!!!

I’ve seen some previous reviews and I think you guys should cut them some slack, they were all working really hard in the kitchen to get all of the orders out and I was very satisfied with the end result! Tasted lovely and would 1000% recommend over dominos any day!! If people want to complain about delivery then how about you pick your pizzas up yourself!!!

Pizza was apparently delivered and it was not, phoned the store and it was apparently delivered to the wrong address. Asked for a refund as now 21.00hrs said they couldn't do it, had to do online, no options for that. Said they could re cook and deliver in 20 mins, 30 mins later, tepid pizza. Shocking

Missing more gluten free pizzas, ingredients are barely seen on top...

Food expected delivery time 17:20-17:40 arrived at 18:10 and was cold.

Never ever ordering from here again. Awful. Took over 3 hours and still haven’t received any food. Have phoned twice and the first time were told it was leaving the store. Phoned an hour later after and they had no idea what was going on. Don’t open if you can’t do what you’re supposed to! Actual shambles would advise everyone else to order from somewhere else if you want your pizza within 3 hours. Can get an ambulance faster than a pizza.

I ordered my food, it said delivery time was 3:15pm, it now says enjoy your food when I have no received my food. £17 I spent I would like a refund

My order was over an hour late. At the point when it was 30 mins late I called the restaurant to ask where it was she said it was going to be the next delivery out so would be another 15-20 mins which was fine. It was 35 mins later that it was delivered.

Delighted they now deliver to my area but took 45 mins longer than the original delivery time. The food was still warm but not hot. Thankfully, everything was there. Love Papa John's but not loving the long wait.

Really disappointed. Tried calling the store 5 times as I ordered over an hour ago and still no pizza. Also the tracker is saying it's not even been put in the oven. I usually have a good experience with this store and this has just totally made me never want to order from here again. I have contacted customer services as staff are ignoring all my calls.

Jamie is the best pizza chef ever and is always helpful on the phone. I’ve had some really BAD pizzas from here occasionally and late but I know when he’s on shift it’s going to turn up spot on and spot on time! 1) Papa johns …..Jamie needs a promotion! 2) PapaJohns uk… you need a lesson from this young man on how to run a business and cook pizzas 🍕

This food still hasn’t arrived don’t order from this place drivers love taking their time I know my driver driving round the city rn with a slice of my pizza stuck in his beard and the smell of bbq chicken on his breathe. I am very unpleased with my experience because I needed that food all I ate today was popcorn. Where is my food papa John? I’m hungry and now I will starve thanks a lot for nothing

Tonights pizza was amazing. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are ok but tonights was amazing,and most of them are. The delivery was fast and pizza was hot enough to eat so all round a good meal.Thanks.

The food was hot and I didn't have to wait too long for food (collection) on a Saturday night. But the staff had some dubious food handling practices, prepping food after handling till points and phone, and drivers wandering around the kitchen area. One woman with hair down and jewelry, it put me off a bit. Then the pizza was dripping with grease it soaked right through the box, it was also really salty and the dough was chewy. Just didn't enjoy it one bit, a waste of money.

Restaurant isn’t open til 4 but still accepts orders so now I have no food and no money. Need to update with just eat, also can’t contact just eat to get the refund anyhow. Seriously rubbish all round!

Cheese and tomato pizza was OK. Bbq chicken pizza was disgusting 😶‍🌫️😒 Picture wasn't what we got. Chicken was undercooked and no bbq flavour was tasted and no bbq sauce was on the pizza.

Order got mixed. Instead of half/half pizza I got one normal pizza. Nice staff, taste of pizza's wasn't bad but could be much better by putting ingredients not only in the centre but on entire pizza. Crust was 1½inch thick. Comparing to papa John's in Great Yarmouth this one still has room for improvement. Regardless it's best Papa John's in Norwich.

No one in the kitchen despite 11pm close time Ignored by the 1 staff member who showed up, coughing everywhere after I waited 10mins. Ended up leaving and going elsewhere. Horrendous service.

Had the cheese and bacon tatter tots and didn’t really taste of anything. Then the Philly cheese steak thing with only tasted of onions and peppers. disappointed with it all.

Ordered at 6:30 and didn't receive food until 8:15!!! Also received incorrect ice cream.

The biggest issue I had was when the pizza arrived it was only just warm. I had to heat it up myself.

I love Papa John's, but Where's the cheese G ? Even asking for double cheese doesn't make a difference, its practically vegan 😢

As nice as it was, I won’t be having it again as the price was absolutely extortionate. £1.50 a go for extra toppings on what was already overpriced small pizza at £15.99!

First time ordering from papa johns aylsham road it's probably one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time it came really hot and in good time I will definitely order from there again.

It was the best pizza I have ever had! I ordered through just eat and the delivery was very fast. Brilliant service and food. I would highly recommend.

I went here for the very first time just wanting to try the pizza, I'm wishing i hadn't bothered, i waited, and waited, and waited, while some young kid behind the counter seemed to be playing Frisbee with the pizza dough and another stood chatting on her phone, then a miracle happened and i got noticed, the girl asked what i wanted to order and i made her wait, and wait, and wait for my response, which was "nothing, i will go to Pizza Hut", and with that i walked out.

Normally the best pizza from the usual big names That said, the last one I had, had a long hair going through three slices of the pizza. In their defense, the manager did apologise profusely and hand delivered a replacement within 15 minutes. It shouldn't have happened in the first place though and now put me off ordering from them again to be honest

Joke. Website allowed me to order delivery and then find out it’s a collection only service. The boss of this branch of papa johns wasn’t interested despite offering extra for the driver to get the food to me and my family. Never again will I use either. Disgusting service

Hour late and missing one of the two dips ordered

The pizza was soggy and floating in cheese. Hardly edible

After a bad experience at a different Papa Johns, we got told by this branch we could order from them, even though we are out of their catchment area. Not only did they get the food to us in good time, it was one of the nicest pizzas we have had. Plus it was nice to deal with lovely polite staff. Thanks to all the staff at Aylsham Road Papa Johns.

Very expensive for a very disappointing pizza

0 star rating ordered online waited a hour to receive an email saying there is a problem with your order phoned the shop asking why nothing we can do about is NO PIZZA BUT YOU HAVE TAKEN MONEY

Was kinda lukewarm, put it in the oven for a bit and tasted a lot better, which defeats the point.

Second time I have used Papa John's whilst staying at the Holiday Inn and both times have been perfect.

Food was stone cold and discusting. The only good thing was the garlic dip. Not worth the money. Will not be ordering again.

Absolutely awful. Large pizza went in the bin after 1 slice as I couldn’t actually eat it. Dry, tough, chewy and cold. Hard to believe a pizza could be so bad.

Garlic bread pizza was dry tough and cold. Chicken bbq pizza had no sauce on it and hardly any chicken yet cost £16.75 for small!! The only decent pizza was the cheese and tomato one which only cost £8.99. I have had papa johns before and it’s normally good . This was way overpriced and not good at all. Would not order from here again.

Paid £17.19 for a half and half cheese and tomato pizza with anchovies on 1 side and got delivered a £10.99 margarita. Was 20 mins later than the latest delivery time stated so Just had to go with it but I’m not happy!
