Castle Social in Norwich

Super expensive and only 2 options. Also the seating is now only for these awful options. Get something more affordable in castle mall then people might actually start visiting again. For now it's garbage

Shame what used to be there really. Used to be a pretty good food court with good choice and always populated. Now it’s just a deserted level with a few closed small businesses and a drink bar with no one in there. Tried to sit down for a bit while we waited the rain to go over given it was a “social” area but was told to leave if we weren’t going to buy anything, we also saw multiple other groups get kicked out too because they only wanted to sit down. Just go to chapelfield/chantry place and avoid this “social” spot.

Planned to go for drinks after a function with 6 others, had spoken to staff days ago to check availability and was told we'd be fine... Got there today Just for the rude young man on the bar to tell us he's closing... At 3:40!!! I'm outraged! didn't get his name and told me there's no way to file a complaint anyway (with a smile on his face?!) won't be getting our custom again, and we work in the food and beverage industry so the word will spread... Had food from the burger place though and although I was angry, it out a smile in my face... Have to say, decor and cleanliness was rather nice to see however.

I recently visited Castle Social in the Castle Quarter Mall, and it was a fantastic experience. The space is lively and inviting, with a great selection of street food vendors offering a variety of delicious options. The bar area is equally impressive, with a good range of craft beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. The seating is comfortable and plentiful, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends or unwind after shopping

Needs serious review by owner or management. Food stalls there are serving rubbish now. Very expensive 🫰

Childish very young rude staff serving. No service what so ever and very expensive. shocking service..

Extortionate drink prices, incredibly poor atmosphere, no local beers. A huge missed opportunity here!!

Worst food I've ever ordered , ordered from 3 different food stores and all of them were horrific ( 22 quid for 2 plain hotdogs ) would never recomend!!! Do not eat here!!!!!

Wonderful staff, the food is great and quick, the service was exceptional

best carbonara i have ever had, very friendly people on the bar, and the oreo waffle is great, will be coming back

Food is nice and tasty, worth waiting for. Drink at the bar a bit pricey, better to go to poundland and have bottle of coke. Biggest minus, and reason of 2 stars only, is that bar became cashless which is incredibly annoying when you have only cash on yourself.

Long waits from all vendors, ridiculous system where you queue for food then queue separately for a drink. You pay restaurant prices to sit in what may as well be a canteen, no atmosphere, just a cold echoey space. total fail of a rebrand, no way we’ll be coming back, castle mall is done

Waited 32 minutes for this. Awful. Managers response "Oh is it a little over done for you?". No good for a quick lunch break from work.

Food and drink is nice, just a bit quiet. HOWEVER we just watched a kid get served a pint (he couldn’t be older than 16, he and all his mates were in school uniform, also looking about 15/16). Managers need to train staff to not serve children and check for IDs/ fake IDs 🥴

Not particularly busy but every food vendor had a very long wait. Sadly we had already purchased drinks.
