Food hasn’t arrived after 45 minutes past delivery time driver rude and useless

Amazing Service from Mr. Vishal Patel and food was delicious.

I've ordered jackfruit BBQ pizzas for delivery many times and 90% of the time BBQ gets forgotten. Again today's it was and sadly the jackfruit seems to have been changed! Instead of the thick tasty small rounds it's now replaced with large, thin not so nice slices. I had very few on my medium pizza too but as I wasn't a fan I was grateful. Such a shame. It was my go-to pizza :( not anymore, but I can't fault the delivery drivers. They are all lovely!

The food was awful the pizza was basically cheese on bread with hardly any pizza sauce, the chicken wings I ordered where supposed to be buffalo wings but was pretty much plain and barely any sauce at All. Total rip off.

Wrong order arrived. Called over 15 times and kept getting hung up on when I tried to explain this. Had to call on caller ID for them to answer. Finally received the correct order around two hours after we had originally ordered. Absolutely awful customer service and I should not have to pay for this. Complete waste of time

I've had a great experience with these guys. Food is absolutely amazing, we had a little chat about cricket... It was just great.

Good Food, but the wait was a joke ! Thursday evening and waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes is shocking ! Considering the distance was a 5 minute drive I can’t see how it takes over an hour to cook a pizza :/

Never got my order.. can’t review it on taste and quality

I ordered an order from Uber eats and the restaurant canceled it, but I never got a refund. It's been four months now and I still haven't received a refund.

Disappointing “Sausage & Pepperoni” pizza with extra cheese ordered… Didn’t have any sausage, very little cheese and definitely no extra cheese!

I have ordered pizza from here tonight 25/04, the pizza was left outside my house. The Pepsi max I ordered had gone missing... when we eventually noticed our order. It was cold and horrible. It took forever for the pizza to arrive and there's no way to track it because the ubereats app has limited tracking service. Please note we do Infact have a doorbell which no-one pressed. We didn't even hear them knock the door as we live upstairs in a house separate into two flats.

Said it was already delivered then had to wait another 20 or more minutes for it to actually turn up.

I ordered a pizza the other day it was awful it’s was a meat feast had had pieces of meat missing on top I stick to Pizza Hut .

Good pizza overall, the pizza was just amazing! The only reason why I am putting 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time it took for it to come, it took OVER an hour for just the pizza to arrive. But not just that we had the tracking app to help us know where our pizza was at the time but it was wrong it had e"njoy your pizza" and that it had arrived at our house when it didn't so we had to call them directly. Pizza wasn't warm but wasn't cold as well. Good quality for pizza.

Normally order from here just today's order was not right, didn't mean the usual standard. It was over baked, the crust was hard and looked and tasted burnt. It also took abit longer to come then normal. Just not as enjoyable as it normally is. Hoping this is just a one off

Staff super lovely and accommodating, letting me pick up my pizza after accidentally ordering a delivery out of their delivery zone. Definitely recommend these absolute sweet people, there were two staff members on duty, a manager and another employee. I am very grateful for their generosity.

I don’t even know if it arrived. We ordered a pizza quite late but the place was still open and took the order, JE estimated 15-30 minutes for delivery, we waited and it took 40 minutes for the pizza to say out for delivery, then the eta changed to half an hour later than it originally stated. We had no call from the driver and no food for another 40 minutes at least, by this point it was 4:10 and we were all exhausted so we went to sleep. I have no indication that the driver attempted to call us on my notifications other than the order now says delivered. Lost my money on this and couldn’t even contact anyone as the place was shut by the time the order was late so no one picked up. never ordering from the company again.

Rang up 10mins after expected time as no updates. We're told it would be 10 mins, waited and still nothing called again and were told it would be a further 20 mins as they were just making it. No apology or explanation

Called to complain as ordered the philly cheesesteak and there was hardly any meat on it, nothing like the pictures. Ended up being shouted at and sworn at down the phone by a very pleasant chap.

Lovely pizzas, a bit overpriced really but the garlic dips that came with it were absolutely revolting. I can only imagine they were very much out of date. They were disturbing yellow in colour as opposed to the usual creamy colour which was such a shame because we all love garlic dip with our pizzas.

I ordered online for the first time from Portswood papa johns.Pizza had great taste and deliver on time. Pizza bread was fluffy and pizza based sauce was delicious. I really like it.

Tasty pizza - large Mexican! Quality was spot on really. Something went wrong with the delivery process though because I had to call up to check on it. It was meant to arrive 13:50 - 14:10 but arrived 14:25 a litle while after I called up. Bit disappointing but at least it was hot and tasty.

Shocking sending out cold pizzas. Why even bother giving it to the driver like that? I live 6min away. If you'd of said we're going to hold onto it for 50min then send it, I'd of just collected it.

I ordered pizza at the store on the app. The store could not find the order after checking as it apparently “didn’t go through” I checked my account and the £18.99 has been deducted. The guy just said I have to wait up to seven days for a refund as it was a system problem ???

Ordered some food last weekend from this branch and it took 1hr 15m for the foot to arrive. It had apparently left the store 45 minutes after the order was placed but I didn't receive it for 30 minutes. They were obviously making other deliveries before mine. My food was COLD. Not hot-ish, not warm, cold. Messaged customer services the following day as I ordered at 1am so the store was due to be closing. They advised me there's nothing they could do as I should have complained to the store and that they have 'Field Management' to ensure the quality and high standards are maintained. Sorry to break it to you, but your field management either isn't working or they have low standards. For the sake of a couple of quid, stick to Dominos. I will be from now on.

My food never came and I’ve been waitin for around 1 and a half hours

Food cool not warm. Items missing. No refund and no offer of apology. Still not delivered within an hour. Previously good. Not happy about this service distinctilly beneath expectation. Do not use this branch.

I ordered at 6pm. Delivery time given 7.05pm I phoned at 7.39pm and they could not find my order, eventually they found it and said it would be another 40 mins finally arrived around 8.30pm unfortunately the pizza was cold so I had to reheat so nearly 3 hours after ordering I’m finally eating my dinner.

Delivery is typically prompt and pizza always arrives hot. Staff have been very helpful on the occasions when I've ordered or received the wrong dish.

I was asked to phone up and let the know my wife has no phone service and that could they let the driver know that someone would be waiting in the reception for them. Not only phoning the first time they said there wasn’t an order, to then ring again and as I was trying to explain the rude Foreign man on the other end of the phone told me that “order not there before half seven as it was ordered then and then promptly said take care goodbye” and hung up on me. Absolutely Disgusted with the Indian man on the phone. I was going to go up there but thought better to leave a shocking review. I was only trying to help and very bad customer service. Will not be using them again.

Terrible customer service. Ordered some ice cream, which never came and whoever I spoke to on the phone decided to hang up the phone on me rather than resolving the issue. I’ve waited for my order 1.5 hours and now I am receiving 0 response. Absolutely appalling behaviour from the staff and rude. Not ordering ever again.

I went in for a collection and i saw one of the pizza makers (who had very dark skin with glasses) drop dough on the floor and pick it up, blew on it and continued to use it. Hygiene levels for the place are very atrocious. It really put me off from ordering here again in the future. Do not recommend .

Love Papa John's Pizzas (Portswood), me and my wife's favourite. I'm greeted by name when I call up and staff is very friendly. I prefer the garden party (veg) with a little extra chicken

Pizza was fine. Better than Dominos. Able to deliver until midnight which is great, or so I thought. My issue is the delivery. The guy called on arrival to say he was at a house 20 numbers away from mine. I asked him to confirm the address on ordered to was correct and he confirmed it was, he just didn't want to come to my house. I explained I was sheltering (hence the delivery) and he then changed his story and said he couldn't find it. My house is on the same road and easy to find, he hadn't even looked and just couldn't be bothered. With no other choice I go out to look and call him. I couldn't see him because he hadn't even bothered to get out of the car! When I do find him a minute's walk down the road he's clearly under the influence of something and doesn't apologise. I point out the obvious place where my house is and he just laughs. Awful and dangerous service, especially due to COVID.

Placed an order for collection on their website and within 15 mins it was done ready to be collected. Impressed by the speed! The pizza tasted amazing and was perfectly baked. I was also given an extra garlic butter dip which was great! Overall very happy with the experience

Vegan options were excellent, really enjoyed the jackfruit pepperoni!

Pizza weren't delivered, manager was rude and hung up me. Not the first time I've had bad service from this Papa John's.

Unfortunately we received the wrong pizza and had to wait for the order to be rectified ( I had to give the other pizza back!!!.... goodness knows what they're do it what with covid 19) the driver was apologetic even though it wasn't his fault this is the first time I've ever had a problem
