This happened to us a few times, for example my husband orded a pizza at 10pm the payment went through and he checked how long left till it's time to deliver to him it says cutting tried to phone no answer as was nearly closing time. and the food never turned up so they took the money but false hope on my husband to thinking he'll get his food. I'm cornered they doing this other people who knows. Something needs to change about this out of order service...

Ordered hawaiian pizza, turned up with no ham and fock all pineapple. Also 2 hrs late because they had a 2,000 pound order that apparently needed to be prioritised. Oh and it was cold

Never got it! Never got the food but was charged!

Waited for 2 hours for a pizza and a couple sides. Only went out for delivery when I called up and asked where it was.

The food was good but the pizza was a little undercooked

Everything was cold, sides were barely edible. Driver completely ignored the instructions to find property.

We ordered a Greek feta pizza from the Gourmet Society app, and appeared to order successfully. A few minutes later, I was phoned up to say that they had no feta. They apparently had a Plan B, which I didn’t quite catch, but I asked them to cancel the order. I tried again, this time I tried the “Garden Party”. The email gave no indication of when the pizza would be ready, but I went along anyway. After a ten minute wait (which was OK), they presented me with two pizzas – one Meat Feast and the other a chicken one. (We’re vegetarian, by the way.) After some consultation among themselves they agreed that they had the wrong order. Meanwhile one of the staff was speaking on the phone to a customer, who appeared to be complaining about a wrong order – perhaps the recipient of the Garden Party? They asked us to wait a further five minutes, while they prepared a new pizza from scratch. It arrived on schedule – somewhat bland in flavour, but edible. At least it only cost £10, but I can’t say we’re impressed.

Food never came and I couldn’t call the restaurant

Ordered vegan sausage and pineapple on my pizza (don't judge me!). Less than one piece of each per slice. Tells me all I need to know about how little respect they have for their customers and it'll be a cold day in hell before I order from them again.

Pizza arrived cold and none of the dips we paid for were sent. Ordered through delivery app and no way to complain. Not worth £40 for 2 pizza.

First time ordering, tasty food and very friendly driver!

Ordered at 18:00 it initially said it would be delivered at 18:45 at 19:00 we called asking where our food was we were told it had been dispatched and would be with us at 19:10 by 19:20 we checked the app where it said it had been delivered (shock it hadn’t) so again we call to say that it would be with us in 5 minutes. We wait the 5 minutes and then an extra 10 minutes for it to FINALLY ARRIVE at 19:35 I asked the delivery driver how long ago he picked it up at 19:15 so someone clearly either l

I waited a hour and a half for delivery and it’s 10/15 mins away totally unacceptable. The pizza base was horrible floppy and not nice couldn’t eat it . The potato tots were undercooked , the only nice thing was chicken poppers / won’t ever order from there again ! Total waste of time and money !

Delivery 30-35 minutes. Delivered 1 hour 30 minutes. Got email saying shop busy than usual. Telephones the shop , driver already left . But blamed the weather. I will never reorder again from here.

Ordered delivery and it took over 3 hours, constant lies when chasing order, their default is that it’s 25 minutes away. Will never order from them again.

Been waiting over two and a half hours for our pizza, called twice chasing already, they have now told us it’s not even out for delivery. No idea why they don’t tell you every time you call that they have no drivers, but instead they keep telling you it will be 25 minutes. Will never order from them again

Pizza was ok and didn’t have to wait for long. But they forgot the ice cream we ordered and he said he’d be back. A long wait later and we called to ask where it was to be told he’d be here in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later we called again and was told the same again. Still didn’t receive the ice cream.

Not good at all. Was supposed to be 19:15 delivery only to find out it’s been delayed again. Still yet to arrive . A refund would be nice. Not good at all. Second time I’ve ordered from here.. I won’t be ordering again.

The deliver was very polite and the food was very good.

Food messy and off the actual pizza. No taste whatsoever. Bland, very late delivery. For what I paid it was a complete rip off. I will never order from Papa Johns unless something is done about this!

Only order bbq wings, ice-cream and big bottle of pepsi. It's was 30mins late.. wings were cold and you gave me a 500ml bottle of pepsi... bit of joke .

my food got delivered had to wait about 40-50 minutes but it always arrives hot and tasty. I really enjoy the chicken poppers if you haven’t tried them you’re missing out they are one of the best thing on the menu. Even got free garlic sticks once

Food was over an hour late and arrived stone cold. When we called the restaurant for an update they were quite rude and then hung up! We won’t be ordering from there again

Order recived after 1h and 45 min and they forgot my juice (3 pepsi 1,5L each) when i call, they says i will recive my juice in 1h. So if you think you have long time for waiting is your choice.

Awful experience....app alerted to pizza delivery after 10 minutes. After a further 20 minutes the store was contacted to enquire about the app, told pizza was on its way.another 20 minutes later we phoned again, told delivery was in the van but when we offered to collect it, it magically appeared in the store. After walking to collect there was zero customer service and a very hideously organised shop with a huge stack of takeaway boxes stacked on the bar, no apologies and no offer of any compensation. Pizza quality was average but the sides were inedibley under cooked. Absolutely avoid this venue when possible. Not worth a penny of their asking prices

Completely melted ice cream cookies was mush. Ordered a soft drink for my daughter and was given a Pepsi.

Cold, wrong items sent, almost 30 minutes late and no discount as that was due to the driver being ‘stuck in heavy traffic’ during a 15 minute journey between two quiet towns at 7.30pm on a Sunday. NOT RECOMMENDED.

What a lovely polite young lady delivering our pizza the other night

Awful I'm afraid 😞 Food was well over an hour late, closer to two hours. Absolutely stone cold and tasted of cardboard. My last order was better but not by much, I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately I won't be ordering from here again.

The service was not especially friendly, but efficient. The food was ready on time and piping hot. I tried the philly cheesesteak pizza which was disappointingly bland. The toppings on all 3 of our pizzas were not generous at all. Not good value for money and I can't imagine I'll be returning any time soon.

Order from here all the time and is usually fine, but this time they forgot all of my sauces and gave me the wrong sauce for an item. Disappointing because I buy from here a lot.

It arrived 40mins late and the pizza was cold.

Ordered the pizza at 4:23 for the kids and it arrived at 6:15! It was cold by the time it arrived. Shocking.

Last night i was working and me and my colleague decided to order some food from papa johns in Glastonbury , well the only good thing was that delivery . After we ate the food in like 2 hours we started throwing up and having a diarrheas! That’s was the only thing we had ate ! To that neither of us are able to work tonight ! We would love to have a refund back!

Waited a long time for order despite me calling and being told to expect at 7 (an hour after ordered) it arrived just after 7.30. Not brilliant.

Food was good, but delivery delay wait was unacceptable. We had a time limit and had to wait over an hour more than the initially indicated time. Would make me think twice before ordering.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! it took them nearly 2 hours to deliver and when I called the restaurant the staff were utterly incompetent. They wouldn't even apologize for the delay and just gave some half arsed reason for why it was taking so long. What a joke!

Food was decent but the delivery was massively late and the guy who answered the phone was blunt and entirely unapologetic before cutting me off mid sentence on 2 separate calls.

They messed up our order so we were promised a free pizza as a form of apology. Called them to claim this and the guy said we were no longer in the catchment area and had to place an order online for the pizza to be delivered to us? Food arrived 20 mins late and they had the audacity to report on the app it was delivered 15 minutes early! Missing items, food was burnt, dry and cold, papadilo had almost 0 filling. Absolutely shocking quality and service, will never be ordering again! Avoid at all costs!

It showed so much promise when this place opened- pizzas were way nicer than the other local pizza chain, but have gone downhill rapidly- pre made bases and stingy toppings, delivery takes ages and the app is a flat out lie, tells you the pizza has been delivered when it hasn't even left the shop. The experience was so bad I'm tempted to go back to D*m! n*s!!

Rude manager. Kept telling me this was just eats issues as you had told them I wanted my food for 10.35pm 1 hrs and 23 minutes after I placed the order. Never again will I use PaPa John's Glastonbury staff rude manager just wanted to argue.
