Slowest service ever. We had to switch off the engine and sit for ages in the drive thru

Just had dinner, original recipe salad for me and box for one for my companion. All the food was nice, the chicken from the box was greasy but normal for fried chicken, not like other people say. Female toilets were clean (as clean as they can be in a fast food restaurant, I've been in worst ones like KFC Bath), and the food was well cook.

The food was a bit greasy but tasty. Service was good and there is a relaxing atmosphere

Went to kfc 10/9/24 brilliant service from MD Irfan, and Liliana was extremely helpful to us , efficient , very friendly . If only all cust service everywhere was like the service provided by these guys it would be incredible . Thank you both for amazing service.

Dirty, no toilet paper in either toilets, hand dryer noy working. Krushem not working. Didn't dare to order anything. I see why there was nobody else ther in the middle of lunch hour. Poor unfriendly customer service at counter. Should be closed down.

The worst meal I've ever eaten. Half of my order was missing and when I received it I proceeded to sit down to find it was all cold and chewy. The staff were moping about eating ice lollies and didn't have a care in the world. The restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned or swept for days. I'm so disappointed and I will never be going back. Unfortunately frome KFC has been like this for years and it's getting worse. If I could rate this 0* that's what it would get!

Drive thru pick up on Saturday and I greeted the bloke by saying alright mate, he then replied it’s not mate it’s miss.. which was a bit strange.. even if this bloke was a woman I didn’t realise the term mate had a gender it just seemed very odd? But other than this strange encounter the food was decent and wait time wasn’t awful.

KFC fast food I don't think so drive through 20 minutes .no chicken on the bone so had a boneless meal with a side of corn 🌽 meal came out with grave go in no corn so gave you grave no apology if you want corn it will be 30 minutes

Took 30 mins to get food today. They kept saying they were really busy. Truly awful.

Since when can you go into a KFC and ask to buy two breasts and then be told that they can’t guarantee they can give you two breasts !!!!!!!

The staff work the best I can with a small team and they deserve a lot more respect. Never had any problems with my food at all.

Avoid and go to McDonald's! Had to order at the counter as the do it yourself machines weren't working. The guy who served us was useless (name was Leonard) and got our whole order wrong. Asked for cola for both kids meals one came with water and I asked for two rice boxes only for one to come. When it was ready to be collected the women who gave it to us was rude and certainly didn't like it when I challenged her over my order and it was so much effort for her to change the water to a cola! They also had no ice cream as well! If you want a KFC go to the one in Trowbridge, never had an issue with it when we are in the area!

Quick stop after checking out a local business. Food was piping hot which is always a bonus. Staff were fine and service was quick. A hassle free visit

Took ages to get the food but it was ok

Food was pretty straight-forward. It's KFC, can't really screw it up. They should be selling popcorn alongside the popcorn chicken after the fascinating display of staff treatment. Overheard a trans girl working there being told to shut up and deal with the discrimination she was getting from both customers and fellow employees. Absolutely disgusting way to treat another person. Any discrimination towards staff should result in the offending person being removed from the building and nothing less. Forcing your staff to put up with hate speech is ILLEGAL, last I checked. Lead by example and be better. And maybe stop letting food go cold. All round? Sort yourselves out, KFC Frome.

Don't bother. The staff don't have one brain cell between them.

Worst KFC I've ever been to in the west country. Impolite staff. You have to guess what the menu is as there menu boards are never lit up for the drive-threw. Only drumsticks if you order just chicken meal. So I've started using Trowbridge KFC now much better service and full menu always available..

Ladies toilets absolutely stunk and a male member of staff kept talking to us when we were trying to eat our food and was very rude about my son

Ordered a boneless meal and tower burger meal for the not so reasonable price of nearly £19. Chicken wasn't too bad, tower burger messy. Drinks had no ice and warm. We must have been first customers of the day. Worst of all were the fries, dark brown looking like they were cooked in marmite. Tasted gross. Dining area had crumbs and felt greasy with a strange odour. The toilets smell like a sewage treatment centre. Our server spoke to us like a robot out of a dystopian epic movie. The whole experience was bizzare and certainly not worth the money.

Should've gone to McDonald's! Although the menu above the counter listed the vegan burger it wasn't on the automatic ordering system. Trying to speak to a member of staff took ages. They didn't seem to understand until someone else took over who said they haven't sold them for months. Ended up with a meal of rice and corn on the cob (which also wasn't on the automated system) very dull. Toilets were awful and obviously never checked, the females in the group said there's was covered in wee and no staff checked on them.

This KFC is what you would hope for in a KFC. It's not a part of my staple diet however it's reliable and the staff have always done right by me.

Hit or miss experience, generally good. I generally just use the drive through and most times it's a super fast and easy process which tops all other KFC branches I've been to (and I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've been to a bunch). However, there are times that staff simply don't give a damn, which I've noticed is an issue across the franchise. Their scanner or system seemingly develops a fault when you want to redeem a reward in the app. Food was missing from the order a few times so I've started to check the bag before driving away to the tune of a big sigh that comes from the window.

Well what could I possibly say about this particular KFC, 🤔 We ordered a small family meal, 6 pieces of chicken, 3 portions of chips 🍟 Gravy and coleslaw, Bottle of Pepsi.. The female member of staff who served us, knocked the Bottle of Pepsi over, didn't apologise, I had to ask for the paper cups for the drink, Our food arrived in a takeaway bag, Decided to eat it in the car as the atmosphere was much nicer!! I think the food had literally been thrown in the bag, The top wasn't on the Gravy, it was everywhere, The chips and coleslaw were tasteless, I didn't realise that KFC Chicken could be tasteless , But sadly this was the case, What a waste of what could be an excellent place, Perfectly situated, Nice spacious eating area , Shame about the seriously poor attitude of the staff, Tasteless food, It is what it is, we would never eat here again!!

Every time I use this branch the order is wrong whether it’s chips missing todays with Ubers eats my hot wings are missing clearly listed on order list not in bag. No one answering the phone so I can not register they are missing I will be contacting Kentucky ref the poor standard of service

A few months a go I visited this KFC the Gents was closed. Visited a few days a go and they we're closed again ! the Staff said they had reported the Issue but have heard nothing back come on KFC this Is not acceptable. Geoffrey Urch.

Worst fast food experience ever! Dirty bathrooms, sticky floors. Male toilet was closed. No forks or spoons available, spilled my drink, received zero empathy from manager. Highly not recommended.

Please DO NOT COME HERE!!! The place is incredibly dirty. The sole of the shoe will stick to the floor, and the toilet and the smell there will amaze you in a terrible way. The tables will be ALL dirty and no one cares about it. Being in this place is disgusting, but the staff does not consider it a problem. I absolutely do not recommend it…

Long waits, always something missing from a take away.

This place is an absolute cesspit. The tables are sticky and new get wiped down, floors sticky and disgusting. Food all over the floors. It’s also absolutely boiling in there as-well! We ordered, took nearly 45 minutes and then it was wrong. So went back several times to get everything sorted and i mentioned to the staff why is the place so filthy and they said “it was management and they are run off their feet”

The staff and owners should be ashamed of how dirty this place is. The toilets can’t have ever been more than swept. I can’t believe staff can walk around and not do anything about it. Really is unbelievable to see management like this in these times. Walked in walked straight out

I feel it gets a bad rep but they really do try their best! I’ve never had bad food there…sometimes they forget the odd bit but no place is perfect! A lot of young kids in there and they have a lot of staff turn over so it can’t be easy!

I wonder the price of wrap in counter is £2.99 but in computer it is more than £5. I paid too in computer with the same item... That is not good... :(

Really really shocked and disappointed. £20 for the smallest portions I have ever seen, so small that I will need to make something else to eat! they took so long to prepare a popcorn chicken meal and a tower box meal and then forgot the gravy. Would have given zero stars if it was possible.

This establishment is the worst I have ever been to. The toilets were out of order, and the sign to indicate the fact was considerably lacking in size and the door unlocked. The disabled toilet, which I used as an alternative, was absolutely disgusting for lack of a better word. All the tables in the seating area were sticky, as were the chairs and the floor. One particular member of staff was extremely rude. I'm not going to mention names because I'm not a grass. The bins outside were overflowing, and we haven't even begun the bin man strike yet. In conclusion, we should have gone to McDonalds

REALLY AWFUL! Dirty place with tiny portions of half cooked food, half my order was missing but they don’t answer the phone to correct it, 12 half cooked chips is apparently a ‘large’ portion of chips and the toilets are vile… (toilet standards are usually a good measure of kitchen hygiene). Staff don’t seem to care if your order is right or not, no checking of orders going on, bins overflowing and car park full of litter. This was my third attempt to get a decent meal here and my last! Don't normally leave bad reviews but this one is deserved. No idea how it managed to get 2.7 stars, should be zero! I suggest you read the other reviews. Very disappointed. Go elsewhere if you’re hungry! (& don’t want poisoning judging from the other reviews!). Total waste of money!

Very lovely staff, the lady who served us was very chatty but pleasant. Food was OK, we just got there as they opened.

Я розчарована цим місцем. Замість курячих ніжок отримала якийсь шматок курячої кістки з незначною кількістю м'яса ( напевно це спинна частина курки). Картопля була не смачною, просто без смаку, без спецій та солі. Колу яка мала бути в меню взагалі не дали , коли запитала чому вони попросили чек замовлення щоб переконатися що вона була але автомат для замовлень видав чек абсолютно пустим, просто білий шматок паперу. ( але я це вже залишила їм бо я дуже поспішала і не мала часу довго чекати доки вони розберуться зі своїми девайсами) В приміщенні неймовірно жарко і зовсім не вентилюється повітря. Єдине що було смачним це молочний коктейль з морозивом.

So much better than it used to be

KFC is one of my favourite fast food outlets and combines great value with quick service.

Fair to say this is anything but fast food. Make yourself comfortable, as you may be here a while. We were told our food would be ready in 10 minutes after already waiting 10 minutes after our order. More than 30 minutes later we got our food. Far too long considering we were some of the only people in there. Staff didn’t look bothered at all and had very poor customer service skills. We only came here as McDonald’s had a big queue, if only we had read all the reviews first

the little beaten up lad called jay made the best food i’ve had from kfc in a long time, served with a gleaming smile , what a guy even after beaten he still showed complete and utter happiness throughout the whole experience !

Placed order on self service this was barely working ,Food ok the Pepsi Max was flat .Staff rude to say it's a takeaway you can't eat in when all I was doing was making sure that everything was right as a lady was complaining about the same thing I had just ordered,there was plenty of empty tables staff need to have better training

This was my second experience of walking and in waiting for several minutes whilst the staff run around like headless chickens ( pun intended) and completely ignored the customers at the counter- not so even a " a be with you in a moment " was offered.! I chose to leave and use a different fast food option - I won't be back for a third attempt at using this shambolic excuse for a KFC

I downloaded the app for delivery, after 9 attempts on different days of being told no drivers are available, I’ve deleted this useless app.

Went through the drive through late at night, the staff were kind and friendly, had to wait for fresh chips which is fine, when all our food came out it was all piping hot and cooked perfectly! Spot on!

At last it's open. They only need the smallest reason to shut or turn customers away, and when they are open no-one seems to want to work.

Never get what ordered ,chips are not hot or pleasant and lot to be desired with regards to majority of staff and bad customer service,needs decent management and customer relations , equipment screens need complete overall as never hardly in working order ,there seems to be more than KFC being served with many visits by same people going in and out in short space of time by observation of customers

Blimey never experienced such bad service walked straight out couldnt even look at us all just stood around.

Good place to get food when travelling

Very disappointing! Been two times in the last few days and told they are sold out at 9.00pm both times. Then went for lunch at 12 noon and told that the tills are down and they could not take our order. What is happening? Management what is going on? Fortunately there is a MacDonalds over the road so we went there!

Bought a wrap of the day.( Sweet chilli). It was lovely, really enjoyed it.

Worst kfc ever, chicken under cooked. Kitchen staff that I saw looked grubby. Consider no one else in queue the order taker was ok but couldn't handle that I didn't want a drink and kept trying to convince me to take one.

We have Never had a problem with their food before. But unfortunately, the chicken was pink and undercooked. However, I didn't realise until the kids had started eating. That night, my 20 month old was sick several times and for the next 24 hours. My 8 year old was then sick 15+ times for 24 hours and myself and my husband with horrible stomach pains. The only child not to be sick was my toddler, who ate something different anyway! We will not ever be returning to a place that undercook their food and cause food poisoning. Right before Christmas with all our plans cancelled and my son's birthday with all his plans having to be cancelled! I only wish I took pictures!

Litter all over the parking area, both order machines broken, mens toilets out of service and restaurant empty. If it wasn't for the one car in the drive through you'd not know it was even open.

Where do I start, opened the door to see wrappers and eaten bones over the floor and tables, manager sat in top corner on a clean table but that was the only one in the whole place. Joined the que only to find out everyone in front of me was waiting for refunds for their orders. Then heard via drive through that waiting times was 25 mins and over. One man came to counter as he had been wait over 30 mins and the ones that had just been give theirs had came straight in order and was give food with in 5 mins but they where mates with the young lad behind the counter. We decided not to stay and drove to Saltford instead as Frome didn't have most of items we wanted ie gravy, mash. Got to Saltford and place was lovely and clean, fast service and hot wonderful food.

Terrible Service. Consistently get your order wrong. Consistently forget to pack parts of your order. Forget the hash browns from tower burgers. Never put salt or sporks in the bag. There seems to be a complete lack of competent management in place. Similar story at other branches.

The restaurant was dirty with pieces of food on the floor and the tables were dirty, no soap in gents toilet. The food was ok but I've had better.

The egg definitely came first at KFC Frome. More staff than there were customers yet somehow nearly half an hour for a 6 piece bucket. A guy next to me had already done his half an hour and when complained was told another ten minutes. I don't know what he ordered but unless he had chosen a live chicken and was waiting on the whole process I'm not sure how this can be considered fast food. Still chicken was tasty. But I could have probably driven to Glastonbury and got chicken faster and by a friendlier more motivated team of staff. Won't come back to KFC Frome.
