Papa John's Pizza in St Edmundsbury

Absolutely diabolical! Order food at 7pm for delivery, states would take 40 minutes 3 hours later still no food! Rung restaurant and they state they left the food on my door step! I have a ring doorbell and no food has been delivered! Refusing to redeliver or refund!!!

Order placed 7.30 not delivered until 10.30 cold and not enable called 3 times keep saying they were busy shocking service

This is the worst papa johns branch and seriously shouldn’t run any longer especially with the rude staff. The delivery time is 1.5+ hours for one simple pizza. I rang the telephone number about 10 times and when i finally got through the man on the phone was very rude and kept telling me my order would be another 5 minutes. He didn’t apologise and just hung up on me. 20 minutes later the food comes and it wasn’t pleasant at all. it was soggy. I ordered at 20:50 and it came at 22:33. not ideal. I will never be ordering from this company ever again.

My experience was simple horrible. I ordered a pizza, drink and ice cream at 19.44. It's 21.28 still not coming. It should be delivered from uber. I am calling Papa john since 20.55 and they still tell me to wait 10 min more. They are 3min car far. Disgusting. Customer service no provided.

Delivery was 35 mins late after about 6 phone calls ….pizza was luke warm at best….promised a replacement (never arrived) could not understand delivery person and he had not a clue what he was doing putting the cold doughnuts in with the pizza …maybe learn where your going before taking a job delivering and don’t make promises to replace cold food then don’t……minus 10 for crap cold food and delivery

Twice they've not delivered drinks, called the 1st time, told I could have a free pizza, but when I tried to order next time, the guy on the phone couldn't understand me. Won't be ordering again.

Food is ok but not hot. Customer service is non existent, my partner rang as we had waited 2 hours for a delivery they told him 5 minutes but 39 minutes later when he called them again they put him on hold to answer another call then asked the address all over again so he had to tell them again but was then out on hold halfway through explaining. 3 hours for a simple pizza is too long- I could have driven to a decent pizza take away and got myself if they didn’t keep lying and saying it was on the way. Terrible service!

terrible customer service!! i’m am truly disappointed!! I recently ordered from Papa John's and was really disappointed with my experience. The pizza arrived cold and soggy, which made it unappetizing. I also found that the toppings were sparse, and it didn’t taste fresh at all. Customer service was unhelpful when I tried to address my concerns , i called them repeatedly and was getting little to no response, i could not even hear what they were saying , they kept calling me man and not being helpful and had very poor communication, soon i asked for a manger and they hung up the phone on me!! truly upset with this !Overall, I expected better quality for the price I paid. I won’t be ordering from them again

Awful customer service- kept telling us order would arrive, then hung up every time I called and didn’t answer calls after that, and it didn’t arrive until 1.5 hrs late. Driver told me the order was cancelled - which caused the delay. Absolutely shocking service would not recommend

Ordered the food and they forgot about my order , it then took about 2-3 hours to come and I still had to pay full price , he said it would be ten minutes at 6:30 it then came at 7:30 I ordered it way before all of that , terrible service

Me and my wife ordered our food and selected deliver ASAP option, 2 hours and still no food, we rang to be told no drivers they can't issue us a refund have to do it online, the lad we spoke to tried to talk to his manager but the manager wouldn't answer his phone. Awful experience

Placed a delivery order at 17:01 to collect asap. Over 4hours later and we still haven’t got our delivery. Have phone up 4 times to be told they had no delivery drivers, the guy on the phone was very apologetic and tried to ring his manager multiple times (he never answered) was eventually told it’d be delivered around 8:30pm and still nothing gone 9pm. It left us trying to get dinner together for 2 small children an hour before their bedtime and left me and my husband with no dinner. If we had been forewarned about delivery issues we would have ordered elsewhere. Store can’t issue refunds and told to get one online. Nothing on the website and can’t contact anyone till the daytime tomorrow so we’re out of pocket with no food. Would give no stars if possible. Unfortunately not the first time we’ve had issues with delivery here so will 100% not order again.

Called them to be told that there was only 1 person working in the whole place. This was confirmed by the rider when he delivered my food stone cold and 3 hours after ordering. Feel sorry for the guy working there but still no excuse for service like that, corporate should take note!

Food was half an hour late. Called Papa Johns and was spoken to quite rudely when I asked where my food was. I was the hung up on.

I made an order at 330pm and am still waiting for my food at 5.55pm. The man at the shop said it was not his fault as they had no drivers and they dont deliver to my area anymore but the order was still accepted and able to submit and pay the order. I am not a happy customer!

it should have been delivered at 9.15pm, at 10pm we had 2 sides delivered.... no pizza which was on the order - sides came not just cold but under cooked... at 11.30pm we had a pizza delivered, a BBQ chicken pizza! which didn't have any BBQ sauce on it so really it was just chicken pizza.... the pizza was mostly crust honestly blows mind how messed up our order was! oh and just to add to it we didn't receive any of the dips I ordered! so about 3 hours wait for our not so full order.... id pass

Ordered 5 pizzas for an out of town address and it arrived within an hour. Pizzas were tasty, maybe a little cooler than we would like.

Such a disappointment due to the late delivery. When the food arrived, it was lukewarm. The Uber delivery service was slow due to searching for the delivery driver. The food arrived 35 minutes after the set delivery time. The only positive was that I have since received an email apology with a free pizza code as compensation.

I understand it is a Saturday but good was delivered 2 hours and 20 minutes late. I called three times and the receptionist, Saul, was incredibly rude and interrupted everything I was saying and not listening to what I had to say. I was told it would be 20 minutes every time and was told that there would be ice cream for compensation which never arrived. I asked to speak to a manager who he said wasn’t around so will be calling back in the morning to discuss my refund.

It was a delivery which took 4.5 hours, this is not my usual experience but I tried to cancel and was repeatedly told it will be with in 15-20 mins , so not great but first time they have let me down.

Food hasn't arrived by saying it's delivered. The application shouldn't allow this. Drivers should have to prove delivery an customers should be able to block vendors from lying.

Delivery around 1.5hrs late. Arrived cold with one out of two ice creams missing. The ice cream that was delivered was melted and crushed. Really bad service, papa John’s in Haverhill didn’t seem to care. I feel conned out of my hard earned money. Had to cook pizzas in the oven as they were cold on arrival. I wish I had bought two frozen pizzas for £5 each. Feeling absolutely disgusted.

Not happy at all. Messed up order. We pre-ordered a stuffed crust half-Hawaiian and half-All Meats but it was plain All Meats with normal crust when we collected it. Brought it up to the person at the till, advised that they’ll make a fresh pizza which we can collect after 10mins. When we came back, it’s stuffed crust but still plain All Meats!!! We just didnt have the time to leave the house again and take the pizza back to the store but boy oh boy, how Disappointing! The staff are lovely and all that but this order was a waste of time and money

Rude staff, terrible Pizza. avoid if possible and go to Dominos
