Papa John's Pizza in St Edmundsbury

Great, quick service with a well made and hot pizza to collect. We were very happy! My partner had The Works, and I had the vegan version. 😁

I understand it is a Saturday but good was delivered 2 hours and 20 minutes late. I called three times and the receptionist, Saul, was incredibly rude and interrupted everything I was saying and not listening to what I had to say. I was told it would be 20 minutes every time and was told that there would be ice cream for compensation which never arrived. I asked to speak to a manager who he said wasn’t around so will be calling back in the morning to discuss my refund.

Food arrived 45 minutes after it said it would be and it was all stone cold! Won’t be using again

It was a delivery which took 4.5 hours, this is not my usual experience but I tried to cancel and was repeatedly told it will be with in 15-20 mins , so not great but first time they have let me down.

Ordered food at 1245 it arrived almost 3pm. I should have cooked instead. Personnel just kept on telling it will arrive. Felt sorry for my starving kiddos. Worst, Pizza gone cold. Bad service.🤨

Took 2 hours 45 minutes to arrive after I called them twice and they assured me it was on its way. Order was cold and missing items.

Food hasn't arrived by saying it's delivered. The application shouldn't allow this. Drivers should have to prove delivery an customers should be able to block vendors from lying.

Our food was over and hour late. Despite phoning four times to chase it. It eventually arrived over 2 hours after ordering. The taste of the food was ok but it was not very hot.

Delivery around 1.5hrs late. Arrived cold with one out of two ice creams missing. The ice cream that was delivered was melted and crushed. Really bad service, papa John’s in Haverhill didn’t seem to care. I feel conned out of my hard earned money. Had to cook pizzas in the oven as they were cold on arrival. I wish I had bought two frozen pizzas for £5 each. Feeling absolutely disgusted.

Not happy at all. Messed up order. We pre-ordered a stuffed crust half-Hawaiian and half-All Meats but it was plain All Meats with normal crust when we collected it. Brought it up to the person at the till, advised that they’ll make a fresh pizza which we can collect after 10mins. When we came back, it’s stuffed crust but still plain All Meats!!! We just didnt have the time to leave the house again and take the pizza back to the store but boy oh boy, how Disappointing! The staff are lovely and all that but this order was a waste of time and money

Brilliant as always. Friendly staff and fresh food. Also got a free pizza as a customer never showed up to collect it.

Just to say i dont like pizza much, but after Having pizza at this place it was like new mouth watering taste just fab i love, i loved the unique taste must try once

Order a pizza for collection at Papa John's Haverhill. The service was great, the pizza was scrumptious and Anu was so friendly!

Terrible! Our food wasn’t delivered and we are now starving and almost £40 down! We have been told to call tomorrow to speak to a manager but I am very disappointed with the service!

yesterday I ordered a large peperoni and a brownie Everything was very delicious and fresh. The Staff was extremely kind specialy a girl Anu she is very nice . Will always return here and reccommend.

I ordered from here 2 food 1 drink and one ice cream there “driver” told me they only gave him the food items when calling the restaurant they told me they gave him all and he mush have stolen it I asked for a refund on the missing items they told me no I’ve just wasted money now on items I didn’t get DONT order from here no help at all

Shocking! Food an hour and a half late, had been mistakenly delivered to another address and then brought here. Completely unacceptable. Food sent back and was told “ I don’t know how to refund “ ongoing, won’t be ordering again.

I ordered at 8:30 for 9:30, the app was not updating so i rang and asked them if they were preparing my order which they confirmed. At 9:35 still no delivery, I called again and they said they were still awaiting their driver I then waited longer and at 10pm I called again and they informed me the driver was leaving with my order and my delivery was a priority - I live 15 mins away from Papa johns so knew my food would arrive by 10:15pm - over an hour later my food arrived and it was stone cold!

Ordered all the meats and received a pepperoni pizza.

Felt apprehensive ordering as the reviews weren't great. we've now ordered twice and have been very impressed with the quality of the pizza. pizza was on time first time but late second, but was still hot and fresh when we received so not too bothered.

Ordered food through Uber Eats, at 9:20pm, it didn’t arrive until 11:00pm. On the app the delivery time was minimum 15 minutes, maximum 30 minutes. I’m 10 minutes away from Haverhill. It said my food would be delivered between 9:35 - 9:55pm. When the food arrived at 11:00pm it was cold. I am disappointed with the gentleman over the phone too. He was rude and didn’t care to apologise, or tell me how long it would take, just that it was out for delivery before he hung up.

dough was soggy and hardly no meat in the papadia. literally 2 or 3 pieces of meat. papadia not even cut in half. poor quality. great delivery guy and time.

Ordered on the 19th during the day and it was fine, however my partner ordered last night (25/05) and the food was over and hour late. We only got the order after ringing 4 times and it was all cold. The man on the phone also lied and said our delivery man had a puncture, we asked the delivery man and he had no clue what we were on about. Never ordering again.

We were given the completely wrong pizzas. I contacted them and they said it would take 25 minutes to prep (so our pizzas weren’t actually made) and was told they wouldn’t deliver our order to us as they were too busy. Asked for full refund as wouldn’t be able to get our pizzas in time

Absolutely disgusting customer service on the phone!! We ordered a meal deal online and I accidentally ordered collection so immediately phoned the store explaining my mistake and asked for it to be delivered, 1 hrs 20 mins later no food. I phoned the store and was met with verbal abuse and lies that he had phoned me, this was not the case as I had no missed calls from papa johns. I have asked for a refund now as I was told the food is made and probably cold and it will sit there until its collected. We have been regular customers of this store since it opened. Ordered philly steak pizza and what arrived had lots of cheese and barely any steak, chicken wings were very pale, hardly any colour… likely was tasty.

I ordered at 20.07pm but did not receive my order until 21.57pm - almost 2 whole hours!!! Shockingly late. Phoned numerous times. The order had not even left the store by the time order was over due.

It's the worst pizza I have ever ordered. We ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, and it only had a few pieces of ham and 8 very small pineapple pieces as a topping. Will definitely not order from them again.

Never turned up,I was lied to about delivery...driver called and wouldn't listen to me telling him...I haven't got a red door and your at the wrong house, wher he continued to then tell me he was driving to my house at the front....which is not accessible by vehicles.....absolutely shocking service....stay clear!!!!!!!!

Shocking customer service. Ordered pizza. Said they'd try to call but had no missed calls. Said they knocked. I have a ring doorbell and didn't see them on there.

Yummu Pizza! Taste:The pizza had a perfect balance of flavors, with a deliciously tangy sauce, gooey cheese, and fresh toppings bursting with taste. Texture: The crust was wonderfully crispy on the outside yet delightfully chewy inside, providing a satisfying bite with each slice. Presentation: The pizza looked like a work of art, with colorful toppings evenly distributed and cheese perfectly melted, making it irresistible from the first glance.

If it's a joke it's not funny. Ordered a pizza and called 40 minutes later as still not showing out for delivery. Very rude person on the phone told me it'd be 20 minutes as it was busy. Waited another 45 minutes to be delivered a messy pizza (see picture). The free medium pizza for any new order is pointless as I would not order from them after this experience!
