KFC in St Edmundsbury

This must be the worst KFC in Suffolk and quite possibly the UK... Always get fooled by the kids to get a KFC. As a hard working dad in the catering industry sometimes I have just got to give in.....I'm sure many parents will be sympathetic. I've just spent 1 hour on the phone trying to contact someone from the establishment but no answer at all... shocking just shocking...

Ordered at 6:50 was predicted 25-35min got it at 7:58…..

disgusting ,rude,filthy tables absolutely minging chips stone cold hair in the chicken beans spilt out in the bag Pepsi no ice and flat don’t waste your money going to this disgusting place

Food arroved cold with items missing again!

I did not get what I ordered and this is not the first time this happened, but today I just had enough with the employees who is taking/ preparing the orders 🤔Ordered the four pieces chicken meal and received 2 pieces of chicken ( 2x very small breast) and two boneless chicken strip???? If I wanted chicken strip strips would have ordered them on the side. Staff needs to pay more attention when preparing the order.

Missing items. Unable to collect the missing items (not that it was an option when reporting the missing items) so had to go hungry

it's a better with this way with a delivery code mine kept going to another address

We didn’t receive our order. My husband drove to the restaurant to be told our order had been stolen and that you should have phoned us to let us know and whether we wanted to re order. We waited over 2 hours so made other plans. Refund please

I never got my cookies I payed for 2 and none of them where with my order

Terrible food, cold and overcooked/over salted chicken. Complained to Just eat who are not being helpful in any way.

Delivery took considerably longer than initially advised - which happens every single time I order from KFC using this app. When the food eventually arrived, it was lukewarm at best. It shouldn’t be too much to expect the food to be delivered promptly and for it to be at a decent temperature.

Food ( especially chips) v cold. Quality of chicken abysmal.

I ordered via just eat zinger rice box it was missing the salad the was missing beans, the chicken was not cut it was just a breast chicken standard of the food was bad

Food was delivered on time however the wrong food was delivered- I ordered 8 hot wings and was instead given two pots of rice and an extra portion of chips, and then I also ordered extra buttermilk garlic mayonnaise and this was not delivered.

Quite possibly the worst place for delivery. Everytime we order it always gets pushed back and never arrives.

This is a joke i waited over a hour for my food, so I drove to KFC myself so I would like my delivery money back!!! And I got there to find it sitting on the side getting cold so when i finally got home I had to eat cold food so thank you.

The food, whilst delicious, was very small. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen three smaller pieces of chicken! And, as last time, it was delivered much later than was originally stated.

Quite possibly THE WORST KFC in the UK. After a fifteen minute wait for chicken (which is ludicrous that a fast food chain only selling chicken doesn’t have any chicken ready to go, quite literally defeating the point of fast food), we got home with our takeout to discover the server hadn’t included any of the four portions of chips with the order 🤦🏻‍♀️ This must be the fourth or fifth time this happened now. Quite clearly the staff aren’t bothered by their customer service to keep making the simplest of mistakes by not including the food they sell!! I tried calling the store but they just ignored it. If you have a hankering for friend chicken, you’d be better off going across to The Arc shopping centre and spending your money at Slim Chickens.

Not only was the food delivered over half an hour later than was first stated, the order was wrong. I ordered 3 pieces of original chicken (2 pieces + 1 piece) but I received 2 pieces and 2 hot wings - which I don’t like as they’re too hot. If I had wanted hot wings, I would have ordered hot wings. But I didn’t. Seriously, how difficult is it to can an order right when it’s simply 3 pieces of chicken? Pathetic service.

My order was missing a filet and the chips was cold. And in my burger there was a fat chunk in it. I would like an immediate refund!

Horrible in store service and delivery. I made a delivery order, i was waiting 1h 30m to get it. The food was packaged horribly. I didn't get half of my sides. I tried to call the store few times in different days, of course they didn't take a call. Also, I was eating in store once, service was so bad I don't even want to write about it

Literally no dips .. and had none at home so we eat without doesn’t taste the same .. to dry . Just made the meal not be enjoyable.. they should check the order always

I don't understand why it's always so slow, even when I order on the app and check kn when I'm walking from the car park. I'm always standing there 15+ miniutes. And the chicken isn't the best personally. You can tell they only do 1 coating some days so it's not as crispy or flavoured as sudbury KFC or the M1 service stations lol.

Absolutely awful branch. Clearly pay no attention to reviews. Do better!

Delivery time changed at lesst 3 / 4 times. took over an hour in total I believe. Even the delivery driver commented on how slow the service had been and apologised, informing us he had been waiting there for over half an hour. when the order finally arrived half of it was cold and had to be reheated.

Poor food quality, very small portions of chicken, dry, not nice, would have been nice to get a full portion of fries but again, Portion was small/incomplete. The can of Pepsi was ok though

Might give up on this place. It so depends on what team are on. Once again they got the order wrong. Got home, and no chips ! I mean how hard is it? Luckily I ordered rice too so the kids had that and I had a few bits of chicken and some beans. Rubbish.

Waited 20 minutes for 3 meals. 2 out of 3 meals were stone cold, one meal had wrong side and all drinks were disgusting (turns out syrup needed replacing). There were only 5 customers in the store and we all waited in excess of 20 minutes for food, it appeared that deliveroo orders were prioritised. Had it been exceptionally busy I would have been a bit more understanding. This was a family treat prior to a cinema visit, I may as well have thrown the money down the drain. The long wait for the food also made us late for the film!!!! Avoid at all costs!

By far the worst KFC I have been to and unfortunately this is the only one in my town. The place is filthy to the point where you genuinely can’t sit down and eat. Every table out of the 12/13 tables in there were covered in food or had food under the tables. Theres chicken bones under the tables. The staff do not clean the tables, despite being stood behind the counter doing nothing. We went and there was only 4 other customers eating so the place was categorically empty. Yet they still stood behind the counter chatting to the people in the kitchen, laughing and screaming whilst every single table in there was covered in trays and food. Watched the young worker empty both bins and serve food without even washing her hands. There was 3 of us and we all ordered at the same time yet one of our parties meal got completely missed as they were only focused on delivery orders. We had finished eating before they even got their food. We will never ever visit here again. 🤢 Just to add - Go to the Slim Chickens over the road which is spotless, better service and at the very least is clean!!!

Estimated time for delivery was 20 /40 minutes, it actually took 1.30 , and missing items not very happy at all with the food or service!

Two words. Absolutely Disgusting. Soaked in smelly oil served just warm and we (5 of us) had bad stomachs the next day. Clearly they are a bunch of youngsters running the place with no obvious management spending their time on their phones, laughing with each other and flirting with the customers who clearly were getting freebies. I repeat .. absolute disgusting and this place should by closed down by the authorities

I’ve been to this kfc about 5 times now and I never normally leave reviews of places but this place really has to change. Every time I have been here the food takes ages and when I get it the chicken is dry the food is cold and the chips feel like they have been left out for hours . The staff members are nice but that’s about the only good thing about this place. From what I can see they cook everything all at the same time which means things like chips will be sat for ages whilst waiting for a side such as chicken bites if they could nail the cooking times and made the quality good I wouldn’t mind the long wait . This isn’t a hate comment and I don’t want them to think I hate this place just for the sake of it but I really do hope they can change the way they do certain things.

Arrived cold, late and incorrect items in the order.

the cookie was missing, chicken was like rubber and spicy, gave me the wrong dip and gravy instead of beans. the phone number makes it impossible to talk to someone even tho it's CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I should have a refund! terrible app and service. deleting my account and never using the app again. had to make myself a sandwich. useless and disgusting. go with another delivery service. these plebs do not deserve your money.

Never got the food and just eat did not have working customer services button and KFC customer services said go to just eat. Oh and KFC store won't answer phone

KFC gets a bad wrap… and I know why! Simple menu with standard items for box meals.. sadly they seem to forget items.. No side or fries. Not cheap these days so you expect all items ordered. Very disappointing but unfortunately expected as per reputation. Won’t order from here again. Shame.
