Papa John's Pizza in Rushcliffe

We thought we'd have a change from Domino's so chose Papa John's West Bridgford. Food was not as good as it used to be years ago and they forgot the drink. I called up to tell them about the drink, some kid answered, couldn't find my details so I asked her to call me back when she had. An hour later, nothing, no call , so I rang back, a man answered and sent the drink round. Overall poor service, badly organised and not the same quality it used to be. We ordered on a Sunday night if that helps. Won't be ordering here ever again unless I hear it's under new management and had a shake up.

My food wasn’t delivered! I’ve waiting 1hr 30 mins for this and then it just states it’s delivered. This is totally unacceptable. Please refund!!

Ordered a Pizza two days ago and have had the worst diarrhoea and stomach pains since. On top of that, the icing on the cake is that I was over charged on purpose and the attendant never offered to fix it. I am still having pains as I write this review. Please be careful before ordering food from here, many others pizza places around that are probably cleaner!

The pizza was terrible. On another note, it's ironic how a poorly made pizza might actually work as a cure for constipation. As for the customer service, it's confusing. They advertised a lower price on the window but charged a different price in their menu. When I inquired, they explained that the window price only applied if you bought one pizza, not two like I did."

Highly unfriendly and distracted staff. Ordered two Philly steak pizzas and two sides. I turned up to collect the order on time but the staff had not even processed my order as it seemed they didn't know how to process orders placed through justeat. No one even apologised. At the end of the day I have to waj wait extra 20 minutes.

Ordered online yesterday for our staff party and lovely I think his name was was so kind and took care of us even put our food in the warmth whilst we waited for our cab despite our late large order and everything tasted so delicious and fresh

Ordered online but I couldn't add an additional topping so I called up the West Bridgford shop and mentioned it to them. They said absolutely no problems to add it and will charge when we went to pick it up. My husband went and didn't charge us! I also got a phone call to say the pizzas were ready as well. Really great customer service and the pizzas and sides were amazing! Would recommend. Only downside they don't deliver to us which I really hope they will soon! Thank you!

Tasty food and amazing customer service

My food arrived cold, the chicken was not cooked properly and the bites were disgusting. I spoke to a guy called kush from the west Bridgford store who was absolutely awful. Worse customer service I have ever received. He basically told me that I was lying and there was nothing he could do. I asked to be given further details for the owner and he refused she put the phone down on me. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Will not be ordering again.

It's now open from 11am all week long. Lunchtime offers are great. A large for £6.99 on collection. I love it!

Awful cold food. Turned up 35 mins late wasn't cooked properly and the driver was rude when delivering the food.

Ordered a pizza here but gave me the wrong order when it arrived. Thankfully got a refund which is good . But still not happy though

I used to be a Pizza Hut guy due to their lovely Pepperoni Feast, but I had a Pepperoni with extra cheese from Pappa Johns and I have to say it was gorgeous!

Placed a order this evening for collection online and payment was took, literally an hour later we was still waiting for it. We had to go into the west Bridgford branch anyway to collect it to be told that the system was down and they will refund us! It will take 3-4 days and just to reorder!! I argued it, I had order number and proof of payment to show the money was taken out my account! I just wanted what I ordered and paid for.I didn’t want a refund. No pizza and no apology. Extremely rude staff and unprofessional. We will never order from them again. Poor.

It arrived early and it wasn't cold, I had no complaints there. The Pizza itself, though, wasn't amazing, taste-wise. The stuffed crust was synthetic and toppings didn't taste all that distinct from eachother. It also seemed have a strange buttery smell, and the garlic dip that came with it didn't taste of garlic and tasted more like thick melted butter. Can't say I'll be ordering again

Fantastic professional and friendly staff. Delicious pizza, even the margherita and really tasty garlic bread and cinnamon desserts. Reasonable prices. Our new local pizza place.

Speedy service, quality pizzas, efficiently run. Only gripe...pizza chefs only pulling their face masks over the mouth AND nose when customers approaching shop front and not wearing disposable gloves when handling food.

Any company that associates with the money-grabbing crooks at JustEats can't be good.

Only half order had arrived. I questioned order because I could see a pizza box missing, to be told its all in one box????? Checked inside house- one pizza. Had to run outside and stop driver to go back to pick up rest of order. No apology from West bridgeford store. Not acceptable considering a midweek order- not peak time and spend of £50. Poor service poor value and last rime we will use.

The cheese in the stuffed crust was disgusting, it tasted artificial and was gloopy. Food wasn't very warm either.

The food was so so late. I called them 10 minutes after delivery time and they said it was on its way. Then 20 minutes after that we still had no food so I called them again, they said they had tried to deliver it and no one answered, which isn’t correct because I was stood waiting for it looking out and they did not even try to call me on my phone. Then they said they would redeliver and even then we were waiting... waiting... it still hasn’t shown up. This was for a birthday and I’ve spent an hour looking out of the window for the food so haven’t been able to relax and enjoy the evening. So disappointing.

It was the first time I'd ordered delivery from Papa John in West Bridgford and used Just Eat. It was straightforward to order, was delivered early by a pleasant and polite gentleman and the food was tasty and well-presented. Thank you.

Staff preparing your food are not wearing masks or gloves.

I have to say Papa John's on Melton road west bridgford does exceptional pizza! Not the cheapest in town but my goodness tastie ! I have read the "bad " reviews but I can only say good things as I've only had good experiences 😁.

Cancelled the order because 'they don't have any drivers available and they don't know where any of them are'. Admittedly, they did call straight away to let us know this, but we won't bother ordering again.

Waited an hour for the pizza to arrive, when it was delivered one pizza was wrong. We called to complain and were told it would be at least another 20 minutes for the correct pizza, and they want the old pizza back. They refused to upgrade from a medium to a large to make up for the hassle. Rubbish service, especially considering the amount of pizza we’ve had in the past from this place. Edit: it’s been an hour now, 2 phone calls and no pizza. We’ve been told we can have a free drink with our next order. What. A. Joke.

I was dissapointed with Papa John's. Having placed my order online, 15 minutes prior to going to collect I was then made to wait 20 minutes in the shop. If not for my own prompt to the staff asking how long my order would be, i have no idea how long i would have to wait. Seemingly forgotten, my pizza was under a pile of other cooked pizzas. No apology, poor service. To top it off, the BBQ chicken pizza lacked taste, with the tomato base the only ingredient offering any taste.

Had vegan pizza from here several times. Always really good.

Delivery was 15 minutes late, which meant my food was barely warm on arrival. Never before been disappointed with papa johns but this was a first time ordering from this branch and I wont do it again.

Really great pizza, lots of choice.

Good everytime I've used them however being a vegetarian I feel like there's a lot of cross contamination that takes place here .. for example they make a meat pizza, put veg toppings on, put meat on and then cheese on top.. They then make the veg pizza using the same veg toppings and cheese that previously had meaty hands in there.. changing gloves doesn't stop the cross contamination. the cheese and toppings for vegetarian pizzas should be kept aside and used only for veg pizzas.

Not a bad guy if you use the vouchers.

Brilliant, best takeaway pizza in Nottingham

Use this place more than any other for pizza. Always hot and good quality with prompt and friendly service and delivery. My only complaint as with all big pizza chains is that the price is extortionate. I believe they will eventually price themselves out of business if nothing changes.

The best of the best, no horrible greasy fake tasting pizza here. Papa johns, as takeaway pizzas go are the best. Tastes freshly made dough, toppings and sauce.

Fantastic pizza, great service. Placed an order and discount didn’t go through like I thought. Phoned up and sorted with no issue. Service on top of great pizza, winning combination. My friend I tried Pap John's tonight, we normally have Domino's. We pulled up, ordered, and 10 min had a very hot pizza. Still hot when we arrived back in Radcliffe on Trent (you guys need to deliver here!!!) excellent pizza, excellent peri peri chicken. 10/10

Not quite as tasty as a Dominos pizza but the in store & delivery staff are far far better.

When you create your own pizza, you'd think you get the toppings you asked for, especially when it's just 1 extra topping. Called the store to complain and they denied that they missed the topping. Very rude staff, very unprofessional, will not be returning to this store. Plenty other branches with better staff.

100 times better than Dominos, cheaper for starters, food always arrives hot, never ever had a bad experience with these guys I don't really know why so many negative reviews are online? They've always been brilliant.

I've had pappa John's pizza before and since then the quality has really gone down hill. My pizza was too salty and had too much crust and not enough pizza. It also took too long to arrive and was cold. For the prices you charge, this is really shoddy and quite frankly a rip off. My local take away who's pizza's are much cheaper do a far better job. I won't be ordering from you again

The store forgot to send the 7UP I had ordered for delivery. The drier told me to call the store and tell them and they would do something about it but when I called, they said that as I did not pay for the 7UP (which wasn't there so why would I have paid for it?) they couldn't do anything about it. Very poor customer service, will not order again.
