Reality Vs expectation. Look at the pictures before. With previous management when they were fined $15,000. It was a disaster. Now with new management it's extremely inconsistent. They still don't care about providing a high level and consistent product. You raise concerns with them about specifics of different items and frankly they don't care. Recent order, had bacon sticks. Designed to have crumbled bacon across the whole stick. Instead they used some old bacon found from the back of a store cupboard which was probably months and months old, previously used when Papa John's had a bacon pizza special. This just tells you everything. They really think they can keep making shortcuts and cheat and get away with it.

Pizza was phenomenal, best takeaway pizza I think we’ve ever ordered and service was amazing. Quick delivery and friendly delivery driver.

We absolutely love papa johns, order frequently and they never disappoint, since it’s been under new management the food delivery is super quick when before we were waiting 2hrs+ for delivery! The food arrives correctly and piping hot and the delivery drivers are polite and friendly. Can’t fault papa johns Kidderminster glad it’s back open!!😁

Should’ve read the reviews before ordering here. Ordered chicken bites a long with a few other things and I’ve gotten food poisoning from it. Save yourself and don’t order from this Papa Johns.

Good evening, indeed the order was delivered to me in a very short time, but the same pizza ordered today, I have ordered many times in the past 2 months, but today it was very dry and with a bad taste, no sauces, much below those previously ordered.

Under new management and it's improved a lot since.

Wow! What a difference. Ìd seen that Papa Johns had got new management and thought we would try it. The previous management were beyond awful. But rest assured they are great. 30mins from order to door and food was piping hot and delivered with a smile. The delivery driver also explained which pizza was the gluten free one therefore limiting cross contamination.

Around 20 minutes after eating their pizza I had explosive diarrhoea.

New owners, service is absolutely amazing since re opening, quick delivery and food is brilliant quality and piping hot. Always been regular customers but new owners have really improved everything!

Can't comment on the previous owners but after 2 orders in the past few weeks the pizzas are some of the nicest I've had in years.. 100% my go to place! Thanks

Under the new management this place now delivers the proper Papa John's quality pizzas. I'm happy with my order, food was spot on.

There is nothing else to say but wow! I recently heard about the new management at Papa Johns and it is safe to say I am more than impressed with the quality and service provided. The food arrived very promptly after ordering and the service couldn’t have been more helpful over the phone. Definitely recommend to everyone and will most certainly be ordering from here again in the future!

5* service will go above and beyond if order isn’t right. Customer service is top notch, Staff are friendly and will chat while you wait overall a pleasant experience & the food was baked to perfection - Big turn around since previous owners, would highly recommend!

I had seen the shop had just opened after been closed for some time, so thought I would see if things had improved. Upon ordering, collecting, and having the pizza I can definitely say that the new management is miles better than those who were here previously. The pizza was made promptly and tasted amazing, the whole quick service and quality was better than I could’ve expected! Will definitely be back soon :)

i ordered from here after hearing about the new management and i was left pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, as you can tell from the photo and also arrive warm. The service was also 10/10 much better than before! will definitely be ordering from here again

Not sure why putting this review on, because if I looked at them before ordering I wouldn't have. So sort of my own fault, but pretty obvious they are not worth it, ordered a couple of pizzas for stupid money never came, never answered phone. Don't understand how places like this run and make profit legitimately only profit they get is from robbery.

Avoid like the plague! Ordered and arrived 1.5 hours late, and cold, they forgot my drink, and when I called up to ask where my pizza was they said “it’s on its way” and hung up immediately. Didn’t even take my order number!

I tried to order Gluten Free online but I couldn’t find an option so I thought I’d just call. The guy on the line had no idea what he was talking about, when I asked if they still did gluten free crust he said, and I quote, ‘I have no idea’, and told me to just order online. What is the point of having someone on the end of the phone if they don’t even know what they sell? Unless you’re ordering word for word off the menu don’t bother calling, they have no idea what they’re doing. I hate this new era of doing everything through an app, having dietary restrictions makes it very difficult if I can’t talk to someone.

Our first pizza from here and I think our last took its time to arrive was only warm the pizza was very doughy not much taste to it plus not much toppings on either I've had better frozen pizza really, Also had the jalapeños cheese bits was nearly cold and wasn't the best overall pricey bland and over rated

Ordered food, over an hour and food still had not been delivered. Called several times to be told 5 minutes over and over again! Food stone cold when it eventually arrived! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Shocking service, waited 2 hours for a stone cold pizza. If we hadn't already paid we would have cancelled the order but they no longer accept payment on delivery. I wonder why!! Fobbed off with excuses when we rang up 3 times: driver has just left. Driver has broken down. Then the chap hung up the 3rd time. Please do not give them business until they sort it out.

Ordered online and after about an hour and 20 min we checked the order tracker which said it had been delivered around 30 minutes ago. Called the branch a few times and when we finally got through to the apparent manager and gave our details politely asking for an update he shouted he would check the order and slammed the phone down on us. We were unable to get through again on the phone and when the food finally arrived (early 2 hours late) it was cold. Not great when you’ve spent over £40 for 2 pizzas. I could possibly forgive the lateness with it being a weekend but the rudeness is disgraceful!

Waiting over an 1hr 30mins for a stone cold pizza and some of the order missing......the delivery driver thought it was amusing....!!! I would strongly advise anyone that wants a nice pizza delivered in a reasonable time and hot to AVOID this at all costs.....unreal

Do not order. Food never turned up and staff them lied that there wasn’t a manager and then lied that the system was down when refund requested. Then hung up and refused to answer calls.

ordered two pizzas on the 2 for 1 deal, only recieved one so called up to ask. he could hear me absolutely fine until i mentioned one pizza being missing, immediately said he couldn’t hear me and hung up. tried calling again and no one picked up

First time ordering from here in about a year. We ordered Papadias for lunch as we wanted something relatively fast. Food was actually delivered in good time however, what we received was not Papadias but 2 small thick crust pizzas. The dough was not cooked all they way and so the base was stodgy and raw in parts. Come on guys, if you’re going to get our order wrong at least make the food which arrives in its place quality.

Just enjoying my beautiful all the meats thin crust. Would've got a 5 but I had to walk back to the cash machine because it was cash only. Could've ordered online on my card which made me wonder who's earning more tonight, Papa John's or the guy that made this fantastic pizza!🤔

It was the previous customers fault????? Ordered 2 large topped pizza. Waited 20 minutes behind another gentleman though my order was showing ready to be collected. The guy never spoke to me though I tried to get his attention. I was handed 2 small plain margaritas then when I questioned he told me it was the other customers fault even though he handed them the pizza. No apologies offered. No refunds offered. Just that it wasn’t his fault that HE had given my pizzas to someone else. Wholly useless.

Driver made us walk to pick up our own pizza which was cold and they then promised a refund which never arrived. Still battling with head office weeks later. Disgusting service and horrible staff

Used to be really good, not anymore. Online tracker is not to be trusted, got mine delivered more than 30 minutes after the tracker said it was with me.

Not been to papa John's for about a year never had any issues but had one last night ha ha what a joke it was like cardboard I've saw more cheese in a packet of cheese and onion crisps waste of money hardy any cheese or toppings a frozen pizza would of been a better option

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Ordered from these guys twice as a change from domino’s and both times I’ve ordered they’ve stated the order has been delivered but hasn’t arrived. The first time it showed an hour late and was inedible. And now this time we are currently waiting on an order that’s stated as delivered, called the shop and the arrogant person on the phone said it was on the way and cut us off before we’d finished speaking. Absolute madness to see this place still going after reading everyone else’s reviews. Absolute joke! Wouldn’t even waste your time and money!

Ordered online at 6.30pm tracking app told me food had been delivered and with me at 7.30pm..nothing had arrived. Called continuously to complain but nobody would answer the phone..delivery eventually turned up at 9pm! Kids had already had alternative food so waste of money and time..! Avoid at all costs!!

What a shambles. Ordered food over 1.5 hours ago and have been trying to call the store to find out what is going on and nothing…. 6 calls and no answers. The app still shows “we have your order and are making your food” Never ordering from here again.

Waited 2 hours for delivery, no answer on phones. Surely you just answer the phones and explain service is slow tonight due to England playing, instead they get the delivery driver tot do it with cold pizza

Awful! Took over two hours from order being placed to getting order. Order tracking showed order as delivered but didn't actually arrive for another ten mins. Called them 15 times and each time it just rang out with no answer. Food is stone cold too. We won't be using them again!

Should have looked at the reviews, rang up they did answer and said they will send the delivery driver back but what's the point... And after reading the reviews I won't hold my breath... I tried to call to place an order this evening. The phone was picked up & put down on me twice. I phoned again only to be told that I can't order over the phone. My intention was to speak to staff to order to find the best deals for a number of pizzas. I was told that their systems weren't working so I couldn't order over the phone. Funny that other reviews I've read from months ago have mentioned that they wouldn't take orders over the phone either. How long have their systems been down for. Just horrendous customer service. I don't even understand how they are still operating. I will never order pizza from here again.

What a terrible terrible terrible service. Ordered a pizza to be delivered. Checked the track your order and it stated that it had been delivered at 19.55. As I write this it it is now 20.40 and still it's not been delivered. Called the shop I ordered it from to be told that the driver was 5/10 minutes away and that the system was down. Phones were clearly working so why didn't they call to explain the issues instead of waiting and waiting and waiting. I had no apology and was repeatedly told the driver was on his way. There isn't a chance on this earth I will ever use Papa John's again. The service, the communication and the rudeness is unacceptable and will only serve to drive customers away.

They turned up at my house and then got back in his car and drove off whilst I was watching and they claimed it was attempted delivery. Man was very rude on the phone and told me to do one and put phone down on me. Do not recommend

We used our points from the papa John's website which made it this cheap. Always upgrade to stuff crust much more filling. Only ordered a pizza so this time nothing else was left behind or didn't arrive like normal here.

Take your money but don’t actually deliver the food. Lied to when called to chase the order saying the driver is on their way and then they put the phone down on you. Avoid 100% and support smaller local places instead - I have complained to Papa Johns head office.

I did order on Deliveroo and waited for more than 2 hours , I called the restaurant they told me I need to call Deliveroo and refund my money , I called the Deliveroo they told me I got the order but I never had my order , please people make sure avoid this store ,

Not wanting to take an order over the phone when I've ordered from them in the past. It's perfectly normal to order a pizza on the phone. You can't tell a customer to order online when you also can order on the phone! I'm 5 miles away and they say they can't find my post code when they've delivered to us before with no issues. The food is top quality and had no issues last time. Avoid and support your local pizza place.

Absolutely lacking manners and customer service! Avoid at all cost! Tried to call several times to order for collection. For about 1hr couldn't get through as someone answered the call and put the phone down straight away. Then answered and put the phone next to him so I could hear him talking. Then put it down without taking an order or even speaking to me. Called again, put the phone down and then eventually answered again and put the phone next to him again leaving me hanging for 10 mins! What a tosser!

Ordered online. App saying it was delivered but not the case. Rang the branch and they said a other 5 or 10 minutes. Obviously to keep head office happy with stats. Back to Domino's I go they have never let me down. Been waiting nearly an hour now! 🥵

Paid £49 for 2 pizzas that were stone cold and inedible.

It's hit and miss. I've found that the Hereford and Worcester ones are slightly better. Although the Worcester one messed up my two pizzas one time real bad.

Food 30 mins late so far, hasn't turned up, don't answer the phone either. Order one other time previously was also late and just warm, gave it a try again tonight and even worse service, 2/2 times, really is poor.

totally disgusted in this place,ordered pizza new years eve with instructions clearly stated no cheese due to son having autism and can not tolerate cheese,pizza turned up with cheese on rang restaurant said would sort another one,did not receive a replacement and no refund,from now on will stick with Milan pizza least they get it right what's hard about leaving cheese of a ham and pineapple pizza

Made an order, which arrived, but part of the order was missing. The delivery driver stated they would come back, but never did. After 2 hours of waiting, we called the restaurant for there to be no answer at all. I get that mistakes are made, but to then not even bring the rest of the order and never answer the phone is pretty bad. Not good service at all

Dreadful service Two hours for a pizza and still not delivered. I’m used to them being late but this was a new level of incompetence. My son ordered food. Did not arrive. Called to query long and short established that went to wrong address by description of house and vehicles but apparently our fault that they went to wrong address and because it was we could have cold food. Absolute joke.

I went to purchase 3 personal pizzas this morning which they are advertising in the window for £1 when asked for pizzas was told they don't do them but I could get one for 3.99 why advertise in window if not available

Ordered a large half and half pizza but had a couple of toppings missing. Called and within 20 mins I had received a perfect replacement pizza. Manager even called to make sure everything was okay, cannot fault the food or the customer service!

After 2 hours had to give up and leave the house. Called to cancel so hope I get a refund. Thr food might have been nice, but for sure would not have been hot.

I tried to order over the phone today. What a waste of time that was. I must have repeated my postcode a dozen times. The guy have been playing stupid on purpose, surely no one is that dumb. Why would i be ordering for a BY postcode? I gave up on the end and ordered online. that didn't arrive either. then i had to call about it. i have a feeling this branch does it on purpose. They have my money and delivered no pizza. They are absolutely incompetent. Even when i ordered before through just eat. the pizza didn't turn up. avoid papa johns in Kidderminster. i am totally sure its a scam.

Delivered the wrong pizza (dairy allergy) - called to say it was wrong and could they rectify - they told me “we will send the same pizza” - I lost my temper until they said “we will send a fresh pizza”. Two hours later, no food. Shame, won’t use again. Zero stars

Papa John's, vegan pizza does not come with meat on it!!! Nor do you hang up on a customer asking how this is possible (after two hours of ringing). And when I went in to complain, no apology and a offer a replacement pizza when I stated I'm not eating there again plus learn basic hygiene, you use a phone, a computer, touch your face...please wash your hands before handling food. Head office only offered me a replacement pizza...there is so much incompetence and disdain for customers and I really cannot understand how this establishment functions. A visit from health an safety is highly recommended.

Ordered through just eat, hasn’t confirm my order for over an hour. Phoned restaurant, some idiot answers and tells me he’s a cleaner. Then told me he’d check the machine and hung up!! Tried calling repeatedly and didn’t answer again. Now having to waste my time cancel the order through just eat, which is a performance in itself!! Useless idiots

Worst pizza outlet ever, they have never managed to get an order correct / delivered in reasonable time in about six attempts.

First, we had to ring the store to see where the food was as it said it had been delivered but there was no sign of it after an hour and 20 minutes. When we rang the man asked one question and put the phone down on us. When it finally arrived we had none of the sauces we had ordered. The toppings on the potato tots were limited and the pizza came with only half of the toppings on which were ordered. Very disappointed in this service.

Staff came up to the window so i can order a pizza as i about to make an order he walked off absolutely disgusting and rude. Never been to papa johns pizza Kidderminster and will never do so after my experience will be contacting Head Office.

I ordered from papa John's and for one they got my order wrong and the guy was quite aggressive when I told him he got my order wrong this is not acceptable, I would not recommend ever ordering from here

It is a shame to have to write a negative review. Our last 2 recent orders have been late and have been cold when received. We let the first order go and put the pizzas into the microwave. However, last week my daughter wanted to order a pizza (with her own money) so we ordered it, the app told us food had been delivered (it hadn't), contacted them to be told it is on its way. About 25 minutes later, order arrived and food was cold. I contacted them again to say how disappointed we were with the poor service, etc., and asked for a refund. Was told that a refund would be made (although initially tried to fob me off with free pizza instead). It has been 7 days and no refund in sight! Really disappointed, will not be ordering from Papa Johns again. I have looked at the other reviews and can see a pattern here. Papa Johns Kidderminster, please take note of these poor reviews as it could be so easily rectified. For me, it appears the issue is all in your delivery service.
