Went in shop at Bellegrove Rd and ordered 12 different pizzas to arrive at 1pm on 1st May 2022 at my home address. Whilst communication in store was somewhat difficult and did not provide me with any confidence that things would run smoothly on the day, I was proved wrong. The pizzas arrived and were exactly as ordered, they were hot and arrived dead on time. Well done Papa John's...Will definitely be back. Ordered for another party today, 20.7.24. Pizzas arrived exactly as ordered, exactly at the time ordered and piping hot. Well done to Welling store staff ...again. 👏 👍 👌

Pizza was undercooked dough was too thick and they missed toppings off of my pizza. This particular shop seems poor. No wonder so many branches are closing.

You staff don't know how need to do refund be card 🙄!if that what you customer service gonna help sort out? Manager on duty listing music on he's phone, they use same spoon 🥄 spread bbq sauce, and put back in tomato sauce, this how customer service try to explain for me basic things what's happening in kitchen?

My food never came, it stated it was delivered but wasn’t.

What a joke shop this place is!! Ordered my pizza at 7pm and it did not arrive until 2 hours later!! I called to ask where pizza was after tracking my pizza to be told it would be another 30 minutes!! So I said basically your tracking is complete lies because they were cutting and checking pizza for 40 minutes!! When we got the pizza, cold and under cooked!! Don’t go here whatever you do unless you order your pizza 2 hours before you want it. Staff totally rude!! Never get another order from me and will be contacting the Head office.

The food was good but luckily we like cold pizza. It arrived within the time stated so it wasn't late but it was ready cold when it arrived.

Out of 4 XXL pizzas, 2 were so dry and badly burnt such that myself and my guests could not finish eating them. The store were not helpful when we called them about it and went to collect replacement pizzas. The person in store was rude and hostile when we collected the replacement pizzas and not apologetic in the slightest. Not sure how he thought it would be acceptable to serve such pizzas to paying customers in the first place. Very poor experience, would not recommend.

Ordered Tuesday special for buy one get one free paid full price got one pizza only for £28 they refused to provide the other pizza awful plus pizza toppings are tiny, don't order from here its really that bad.

I've always ordered via online or the app and never had a problem. We had 2 large Pizzas and 2 sides and now feeling stuffed. I see there have been negative reviews here, but from my perspective I've never had a problem in over 12 years!

I phoned up to ask if instead of the garlic dip could I have bbq... I was promised that would be fine. I think this must have offended the person in charge as I was sent "cheesy bacon tots" with no bacon at all and burnt cheese. The pizza also had the garlic dip I had asked to be swapped with bbq. They then also put much less bbq than normal, leaving most of the pizza without my beloved BBQ. Usually it is in a swirl this time it was blobs on a few slices... It was very odd clearly me asking for the dip to be swapped must have upset them. such a shame as I usually really enjoy papa John's and haven't had an issue from here before. If it was such an issue why not just explain the problem? I know these are minor issues but if you charge the prices you do then you expect better service and quality.

If only I had read the reviews first,then I would had never ordered. Delivery was 20mins late, product was almost cold, had to re-heat Wasn't impressed. Papa John's used to carry a good name years ago, I'm crushed.

Never received my order very disappointed

Order was almost 15 mins late on their tracker, drivers obviously cheating the times, everything is cold. Call the store and I'm told I'll have to wait another 40 mins to have the order replaced, as long as I don't eat what got delivered. Ruined dinner. Won't make that mistake again.

Missed items off the order, driver said it'll be redelivered but it never came.

The delivery person was very rude. He throw the pizza on me when I told him you should have ringed the bell otherwise I don't know when you are here. food was cold

Wrong order..bbq Chicken pizza with no chicken but just with bacon..unfortunately we don't eat bacon.

We bought a large pizza and cinnamon rolls. The pizza had little base sauce on it, as such the pizza toppings didn’t stick and were coming off when arriving home. It was drenched in an awful sour sauce supposed to be bbq. It really was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. We actually threw most of it away it was that bad! Thk goodness for the cinnamon rolls which were better but far from perfect. First time of trying Papa Johns and it is the last. We usually opt for Dominos or Pizza Hut which have always been faultless. I wouldn’t recommend Papa Johns.

Great customer service, amazing vegan and vegetarian pizzas.

Buy yourself some cheese, grate it on some bread and place it under a grill. Then you will get something hot for a fraction of the price.

My order didn’t came I’m waiting for one hour

The pizzas were cooked beautifully, sufficient toppings and very hot when arrived. The delivery driver was friendly and although he didn't wear a mask he stepped back to a safe distance when he delivered. They also delivered the food quickly and when they said they would. They do only have a 4* health rating from food standards so I while their food and service is excellent I would have felt safer ordering from them had it been 5*. As we are vulnerable it's really important to us so unfortunately that's why we have only given them a 4 out of 5. In comparison though Welling is better as Sidcup only has a 3.

Worst experience.. it took ages for delivery

The food was delicious. Before I placed the order it said the delivery is 25-35 minutes. When I placed it it was an hour. And at the en it arrived 1hour 20 minutes. If I were knew this I would have arranged different lunch option. I wrote an instruction to call me on mobile when the food arrives. The driver was still calling the intecom, which is not setup properly. Overall this delivery was not a great experience.

Had pizza from here takeaway but didn’t like the customer service they seem to be ok the phone always making calls taking orders but what about the customers in store? Waited about 5mins plus to pick up order that they said was ready… unbelievable not coming back

Terrible, put in notes regarding allergy instructions, as well as called about it, yet food came wrong. After waiting for another hour, food was delivered ok. Will never order again.

Utterly appalled by the quality of food that I had received from this restaurant. Not only was the food fairly cold, half of the ingredients hadn’t been cooked and tasted awful. Will not be placing another order from this fast food provider!

Good range of menu options, but a bad first experience of chilli vegan pizza. We grabbed a pizza for a lactose-intolerant guest, and found Papa John's spicy vegan pizza. There were two chilli pizza options so I picked the less extreme sounding one. I didn't read the description but was disappointed it didn't have any tomatoes. It was very...yellow and not very pizza-y. And very spicy, but not in a good way. I'd probably try again with Papa Johns but I'll read the ingredients much more carefully. We had to add our own tomatoes to make it pizza!

Worst soggy pizza ever. If it had two slices less of meat, it could've been sold as vegan. Dreadful

Ordered an XXL and received a Large pizza. Both drinks missing! Called the resultant and was told the manager would ring me but nothing. So disappointing!!

Late and cold. It's a shame as papa John's vegan offering is better. Going to sacrifice that in the future for warm, on time pizza delivered by people that can do directions and smile when delivering.

Pizza is good but they keep forgetting parts of orders and when ring they say it will be sent out straight away, but they don't turn up with it.

Food eventually arrived late but it was great and hot so made up for the delivery time would order again

Not sure why there are bad reviews, but this is the best takeaway pizza in the area it never disappoints! Much prefer this over dominos for the flavours, toppings and the base! The tomatoes and cheese taste more real. Only the price is a bit high

One pizza was covered in so much oregano it was inedible. Over an hour after offering a replacement, nothing was delivered. I was then lied to about a refund being issued. Still waiting on that

The food was good. It was late delivery, but let say the building I leave in, is a bit difficult to find. However the pizza was still hot and nice. Only issue was I've ordered double peperoni pizza and if this is the "double" peperoni, the single one probably doesn't have peperoni at all...

What is the point of leaving instructions to call if you're just going to bang on my door. When you woke the baby up I nearly knocked your driver out.

Unbelievable. Simple order. They're still makes a mistake. Ordered large chicken club pizza. Arrived tomato and mozzarella instead. They accept no apologies and took them 80 mins to redelivery which I've declined to accept it. Wanted a full refund. Never order again. Good luck.

Wow first time ive tried papa johns- i was getting bored of always ordering dominos so thought id give this a go. Well i wasnt dissapointed, huge and tasty portions :D! Only issue i have is the special garlic sauce tastes too much like butter and gets a bit sickly after a while- u should offer it with garlic and herb sauce. Another thing is which is missing is you should included deals like on pizza hut and dominos. It is expensive but very good quality pizza and delivery arrived about 15-20 mins early. Thank you i will be back :D

How gutted am i am, thought I put the curry in the freezer so bought a pizza starter and garlic bread from here. Chicken wings 7/10 garlic bread a 7inch pizza with cheese the only thing garlic was the sauce provided. The pizza was the blandest pizza ever. When I arrived home after eating the meal ordered bit by bit on the way home (how common) the curry was in the fridge. £19.99 down the drain. Worse pizza ever

This is the second time I've ordered from this franchise. First time was 20 minutes late and the driver parked on my neighbour's driveway and was dismissive of that fact. This time the pizza was 45 minutes and turns up with the same driver, then tells me to take it up with the manager because he doesn't care! This is the last time I'm giving them my business. Never had this issue with Dominos pizza.

Ordered two veg pizzas , one cooked well the other not. Not even same toppings of both pizzas. Not even close as good as the northfleet branch. When we complained about the pizza the next day the employee said 'go somewhere else', I was absolutely shocked by the immaturity.

Not only was the food late also the ice cream was missing, which is a shame.

Honestly, the best takeaway pizzas that we have ever had in SE18. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the meats and cheese were delicious: we will be back 😊

It arrived on time by a nice delivery guy. Wedges didn't seem to be cooked long enough. Garlic bread was overcooked. Pizza was hot when it arrived but got cold really quickly. Somewhere in the middle to have everything OK - just not this time.

For the second time in a row, they delivered the wrong pizza. I didn't call them to complaint this time because the first time they took over an hour to deliver the correct pizza cold and all messed up that I had to throw it away. I will definitely won't be ordering again

They did not read special requirements so we were unable to eat the pizza as my kid is allergic to tomatoes and they put tomato base instead of bbq

Tried 'The Hot Dog' pizza as a medium classic, absolutely delicious! Would absolutely recommend it, grab it whilst you can as it's a limited time pizza!

delivery 2 hours late and wrong.Lets put it down to a bad night.Had to chase order and then it was wrong,I think they sent what they could as they were shutting.

What an absolute joke. I ordered on line and after ordreing the Papa John system seemed to disappear. My order was cancelled. I waited and when it came back on line I ordered again. It was confirmed for a 17.30 delivery. I had friends round. It never arrived. Then when I checked over an hour after the delivery was marked as delivered. It never ever arrived. A total shame. A disgrace. I will never order from Papa Johns at welling again. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Luckily I moved house and within the zone for Sidcup branch now. Welling was terrible to order from. The worst case I had was regarding the picture I have attached. First, they brought diet pepsi AGAIN. Regular occurrence when you order normal, they bring diet instead. Second - where's the cheese and toppings? Third - when I phone to complain, the manager was EXTREMELY rude. He told me repeatedly that I was lying (he explicitly said it too), and he had personally seen this pizza be made and it "looked perfect, just like adverts". He told me if he were to send a replacement pizza, if I had even eaten one slice of this one he wouldn't give me the replacement. He also demanded that I hand back the bad pizza. He made me text him a picture of the bad pizza to his phone before he would process the replacement. He then claimed that the system wasn't working, and he couldn't process the replacement. Waited 20 minutes for that to be done. Then waited another 45 minutes for the replacement to be sent.

Soggy oily greasy. That’s the second out of three. The management need to keep an eye on the staff that are ruining a good brand.

The pizza is good but the staff have poor English-speaking skills. Don't expect any help over the phone if you have questions about your order.
