Didnt arrive yet youve put delivered

Just ridiculous, 3hrs for delivery and terrible quality. We did manage to get through on the phone once, an angry guy answered telling me he is on his own and not a miracle maker. The owner of this store really needs to take control, as the whole experience and terrible cold pizzas will drive customers away. This is the first and last time I will order from this store.

Ordered a pizza delivery, arrived cold and very dry, no flavour whatsoever

Do not use these. My order appeared as delivered online. I tried phoning numerous times over the next hour or so, but they didn't answer. Then, an overdone pizza turns up. Overdone because they make the pizza on the order and keep it warm for over an hour before sending it out for delivery. I've never had an issue with Dominoes!

Ordered the summer saver which was advertised as 2 pizzas. PJ only processed one on the order. Phoned store and they refused to send another out saying it was not ordered! But we paid for it! The advert clearly says 2 medium pizzas in the deal. They should know that even if the system is incorrect! Not happy

We ordered our on Uber eats and took over an hour to come! We rang the store twice and on the second time the guy was very rude to my partner! The food arrived after the guy was outside for 30 minutes and didn’t try to contact us! The food was freezing cold so we’ve had to reheat it! Not happy at all and don’t order it off Uber eats as they take the piss

Ordered a delivery for 2245, checked the app it changed it to 2345. We didn't get the delivery until 0045. The store doesn't answer it's phone no matter when you call them. Overall terrible service. Cold food and they don't even want to talk to you.

Still waiting on our food, ordered at 6.30, it’s now 8.30 and accord to their app it’s been keeping warm for an hour… can’t say I’m looking forward to receiving it! Shouldn’t even be a busy night but still not collected by the driver 🤦‍♀️

Absolutely horrendous service. Ordered at 7.25 for delivery an hour later. Store told me waiting for a driver at 8.30. Then store didn’t answer the phone until finally food arrived at 9.45pm cold!!! Disgraceful

🤬 OMG where to start…. Wish I read the reviews before I even bothered. So pre ordered a pizza @ 20:00 for 22:45 it was late the pizza didn’t leave until gone 23:00 but even more frustrating it didn’t arrive until 23:25. Given all this time I get the wrong pizza and sides after attempting to call they answered and hung up on me. Absolute 🦮💩 food and service never again better quality from the ASDA pizza bar.

A waste of £20. I’ve had better basic pizzas from a supermarket. I had a Hawaiian, not that you’d have known, due to its miserly topping of ham and pineapple. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother.

We used to love papa johns but it’s gone down hill massively. We have tried to order it 5 or 6 times and it’s always been cancelled but it actually arrived this time. Shame, I wish it hadn’t, we ended up putting the pizza and sides in the oven to heat up for a bit and that at least made it warm. Don’t bother tbh, we won’t be getting it again. It was cold and undercooked and was really basic.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE!!! No customer care given wait over an hour for your food no drink delivered or any dips with your side an know one let's you know of this even after ringing to see where your order is and after all of this your food isn't even warm let alone hot it tasted like rubber and was absolutely disgusting then when you ring up to make a complaint or raise concerns you get the phone put down on you absolute disgusting service from start to finish especially considering how much a takeaway costs these days. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

If i could give zero stars i would. I received a vegan pizza with HAM on. Clearly an absolutely disgusting "joke" played by whoever made the pizza. Not happy AT ALL.

Order at 5:29pm and it’s not 7pm. Rang the store and the guy on the other end of the phone was clueless. Pizza is still at the store and he doesn’t know where his drivers are and why they are taking so long. Would avoid this store like the plague. Foods okay if and when it turns up

I had a bad experience from here 6 months ago and swore I'd never order again. But I did and it's still terrible. I even ordered in advance hoping that it would arrive on time. It was still 30mins late, cold and rubbery. The staff or manager here obviously don't give an F about their jobs. Don't even bother ordering from here.

Easily the worst Papa John’s branch I’ve ever encountered. Took 2 hours to get our Pizzas, which is shocking considering it’s a 5 minute drive away - why charge for delivery or even offer it if you can’t deliver a pizza? I called up and the girl on the phone lacked the initiative to fain any level of customer service - Pizzas arrived in the dual state of being both burned and stone cold, as well as being frugally topped. I order Papa John’s once a month, but when doing so from this particular branch always have to call after an hour and find out where our food is. At least we’re all lucky enough to be in a position to order pizza, given the state of everything, but don’t waste time doing so from this branch of Papa John’s :(

Great pizza, and it's even cheaper if you pick it up. The staff were friendly and funny. The customer size of things is quite small and there isn't anywhere to sit so just bear in mind if you have trouble standing or are in a wheelchair.

Abysmal service. Ordered at around 7pm, no pizza until almost midnight. The app said our order had been delivered but nothing, so we called up - after several calls they actually answered but hung up right away and then each call after that didn't go through at all. Don't bother ordering from here.

Tomato base on 1 pizza tasted weird & spoilt it & the other pizza tasted like it didn’t have any on it, both were dry. Ordered stuffed crust but they ran out so we got given chicken poppers instead. Asked for the bacon well done which they did for me & was good.

I think I've just been robbed. I've ordered on the app, and was eagerly watching the updates, a little over half an hour ago it was marked as delivered. I'm still waiting. With a standard cliché response from the phone saying "someone left 5/10 minutes ago with the order".... The order which was marked as delivered over 40 minutes ago.....

Everytime we order we are missing bits we paid for extra garlic dip and a coke to be told they had sold out and would give us the items next time we order. This never happened so now I won't use this joke of a company again. Is a shame as normally the food is great this time it was cold and half missing won't bother again

Papa John's used to be so good. Have a little chilli pepper in the box. Previous order was 2 hours late / cold. But i thought we'd give the benefit of doubt and ordered again. Turned up hour and a half late, 1 hour after the app said it was leaving the store and just off being cold. You can see why this store keeps closing.

Absolutely terrible, WISH ID CHECKED ALL THESE REVIEWS FIRST!! waited 2.5 hours for a stone cold order and missing a large pizza! £67 order as was for a group of us! Total rip off merchants. Asked for a refund, and I'd better way get it!! Blamed lack of drivers, sounds like they need staff training to me too! First order from papa johns, will be my last too!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Been waiting nearly 2 hours now and it’s still not here. I called awhile ago and they said it was just out the oven 30 mins later and I still don’t have it. I live about a 25 min walk away

I WILL NEVER ORDER PAPA JOHNS AGAIN!!! I made an online order @1923 this evening it is now 2330 and still nothing, I have called the store over 100 times and the one time they answered they instantly hung up, Papa Johns you should be embarrassed that this happened!!

If I could give this a 0 star rating, I would. 4 hours and still no pizza. You can't even get hold of them via the phone number to bloody cancel. So I'm now having to sit and wait for a pizza that may never arrive incase they ring my doorbell in the middle of the night. Absolutely ridiculous!! Do not order from here. This is the second time this has happened but I thought after 6 months they'd have got there act together but apparently not! This branch should be shut down. Unbelievable!!

Ordered 5 hours ago and food has not turned up, got to the checking and cutting stage on the tracker and never got any further. Just don't understand, if it isn't coming then cancel it so I can atleast get a quick refund. Judging by other recent reviews, something has obviously gone very wrong for PJs

After an hour and half of waiting with no update on the app we tried to ring the store constantly for 20 minutes and got no answer. We gave up requested a refund and ordered from somewhere else. After nearly 3 hours the pizza turned up, cold and the order was wrong.

Ordered from here but wish I'd read the reviews first! Ordered via JustEat, order was confirmed and payment was taken. No pizza arrived so called the place and no answer at all so took a little drive down there to find it was bloody shut!!!! Save yourself the time and effort and JUST ORDER FROM ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THIS SHAM!!! Wish I could give it less stars

They accepted our deliveroo order. Just kept putting order back. Now have to wait for refund from deliveroo because this place pretends to be open longer than they are. Absolute con. Seems from your reviews it’s a constant issue. How you’re allowed to still be in business is beyond me

WORST SERVICE EVER. Do not use. They take internet orders but don’t answer the phone. Update: received a call from the manager to say that they had staffing issues and we would receive a refund. A week later and still nothing - DO NOT USE.

Seems like this particular Papa John's branch is on a mission to give itself a bad rep. Ordered a couple of pizza's which.. you guessd it... We're never delivered. Was lucky enough to get my money back through PayPal. Don't risk losing your money, order from somewhere else.

I ordered my food and the only thing that was fast about the process was the taking my money part. £33 down the drain. I ordered at 6.20pm and it’s now 00.43am , 7 hours later, I’ve had no call or email , and still no food. I have tried to call and the phone just rings and ring and ends with a automated message ‘how they’re not available’ for such a big company I don’t understand how they get away with this. DO NOT ORDER. OVER AN HOUR WAIT. After I rang the store my food arrived with items missing & the damn pizzas were barely even fully cooked. Uneatable. HOW?! What are the doing here? Based on the previous reviews, they're probably all stoned out of their minds and they should all be fired immediately. I rang them up a second time complaining about the missing items where I was told they would talk to the manager. Now I have a pizza vendetta.

Aweful delivery service. By the time they deliver pizza, you can go to supermarket, buy the ingredients, come home, make the pizza, take out our car and deliver the pizza the pizza, before they deliver to you. Its a joke, the store is a joke. I don’t know why Papa John’s company doesn’t take any action or decline the order if they can’t deliver

Absolutely awful customer service. Ordered a pizza for delivery and it never arrived. When I tried to call the store, no one ever bothered to pick up the phone. When the store decides to actually deliver your food it’s good but sometimes they just decide not to bother. I would never in my life recommend wasting your money at this store to anyone unless you enjoy gambling on whether or not you’ll get your food.

Food was supposed to come at 19.22 it's now 20.27 , contacted the restaurant and they said they had a shortage of drivers.I would not recommend Papa John's based on this terrible experience, avoid at all costs.

Ordered a Philly steak pizza with added spicy beef. Arrived home to find no steak on the pizza . Called the takeaway and was told they don't use steak only spicy beef. Why the hell are they offering things they don't have. The young lady offered no resolve and said there's nothing that can be done and said goodbye. STAY AWAY FROM HERE

No staff uniform, dopey staff that didn't have a clue what was going on, the food took about 50% longer than we were told despite there being no other customers and the food was absolutely pathetic. Not only were most of the toppings nowhere to be found, but it overall lacked any flavour. I'd avoid this place at all costs, I just wish I'd bothered to check the review before ordering from them. Also, they all looked high as kites.

Nearly 2 hours until pizza arrived. Fobbed off on phone saying driver would leave in 5 mins after first hour. Quality of pizzas was very poor, nothing like it used to be. Get your takeaway elsewhere or you'll be disappointed. Never again !

The location in Mutley is absolutely disgusting. If you ever visited this place, you would NEVER order anything from them. The counters were filthy, the staff was nowhere to be found, the toppings were left uncovered with flies and insects crawling on them. There were two trays of pizza dough left uncovered. The flies and insects were crawling all over the dough and the dough was blown up like a balloon from being left to warm. The oven was crusted with black burned food and looked as though it. had never been cleaned. I saw one employee the entire time and that employee was dressed in plain clothes, no uniform, no hat. Do yourself a favour... avoid this place like the plague.

As usual the pizza was amazing and the service goes above and beyond! Frasier was a legend, super friendly and helpful! Definitely my go-to pizza place :)

Unfortunately a similar experience to other comments on here. We ordered delivery online to a house within half a mile of the branch, and called when the online tracker had been showing as 'out for delivery' for 45 minutes. The chap who answered the phone was dismissive, said "we're busy, only got 2 drivers, we can't check all our orders - not sure what else I can do about it mate" then awkwardly sat in silence waiting for me to end the call. The food arrived about 10 minutes later, and in fairness was alright and still warm, but that means it had clearly either still been in the place when I called or had only just gone out, so the chap should have had half a clue about it. Delays when busy are fine, but gaming the tracker status while not having a clue about online orders in a branch of a pizza chain that seems to consistently get it right in the vast majority of its other branches is pretty poor.

I’ve been ordering from Papa Johns for years but as recent it’s had a recent fall from grace. Last several times I’ve ordered it’s has been very unsatisfactory, they manage to make a cook the food in record time but when it comes to delivery is very sloppy, sometimes up to an hour and most of time nearly 2. It’s a shame really but I don’t think I’ll be ordering from Papa Johns in a while, perhaps not again if this is to continue.

Last 2 orders, over an hour late! Pizzas are great, but the store really needs to get organised with getting their orders out on time. The 2nd order was over an hour late, and sent out incorrect order. Called the store, assured me a replacement would be sent out within 20 minutes. Hour and half later still no replacement! Replacement was never delivered, after 3 phone calls!! What is the point of even calling?!? Very poor service!! By looking at the previous reviews, it seems this is an ongoing problem! This needs to be addressed, or lose customers!!

We haven't used Papa Johns Mutley branch for quite a while and won't be using them anytime soon. The delivery of our order took just under 2 hours, there was lack of topping on the pizza, sides tasted ok.

Attempted to ordered papa johns from the Mutley branch after they re-opened, and nearly 1hour later, we called to chase our order, advised it’s ready but sat waiting for driver. 30 mins later, call back up, still waiting for drives. Advised man on the phone we would like the pizzas re-made, after they’ve been sat there all that time. Another half an hour later, called back up, new pizzas are ready but still waiting for driver. Ended with a refund and dominos instead. Really poor experience. Gent on the phone was nice enough and apologetic.

I ordered a Medium sized pizza and paid for a Medium sized pizza. The Deliveroo rider arrived with a small pizza after I had paid for a Medium. This isn’t the first time this has occurred and is very disappointing to pay for something and not receive the correct order.

Ordered food and got a phonecall after about 40 minutes saying the food was made, sat under the hot lamp and awaiting a driver, 30 minutes afterwards we rang up asking about where the food was, it was still waiting on the driver, we ring up about 20 minutes later to ask for a refund, 15 minutes into trying to get the refund food arrives lukewarm so we continue with the refund send the food back and now are waiting 3-5 days for the money back with no food. Cheers.

Really cold on delivery...manager rude when my wife called...had to heat up on delivery.....appalling service...perhaps the manager Paige should get another job clearly she has no clue on how to run a fast food establishment....maybe we should take our business elsewhere....worst papa John's ever!!!!!

I tell you what, I'm bloody impressed. I ordered a large stuffed crust with customisation, delivered, for only £13. I anticipated a bit of a wait as it's Friday night but without any prompt sent me a £5 voucher for my wait. Just, don't get the garlic dip. A tad funky.

Ok so where do i begin me and my gf called them they hanged up so we read the reviews someone said they just don't like some people lucky for me i have two sims so thought ill try again and pretend to be a different guy it worked i actually got to the bit were they request my name i said Ethan the lady then responded with is it spelt Arthan i said no Ethan she then hanged up on me again worst customer service that phone is broken or the lady is broken worst customer service ever.

Great range of vegan options. I really enjoyed the vegan chicken nuggets! However, the vegan cheese used is too salty and not very nice. Would still recommend for vegans though!

We just ordered two large pizzas and sides... We ordered extra toppings. one of the pizzas was a sausage and pepperoni, we ordered extra topping of jalapenos for it, they never added them. We also asked for tango as a drink and received 7up lime. Personally I'd give 1 star review but that would be harsh as the sides and toppings on the BBQ TEXAS were pretty good.

our last three orders have been cold and tasteless, just so disappointed with Papa Johns because they were good. I'm uping this because we tried papa johns again tonight 28/10/21 and our order toke nearly 2 hours to arrive but it came very nice. The tracker was on the first stage for over an hour which did make me worry but after an hour and ten minutes things started to move on and just coming up to 2 hours of waiting we got our order and it was nice and was at a acceptable temperature. Ending this, i would rather wait 2 hours for a warm/hot order then wait for 2 hours for a cold tasteless one.
