Domino's Pizza in Plymouth

Ordered vegi supreme and 2 portions of chips. Domino's took our money and told us it would take 30 minutes. Received a call after 15 mins to say they didn't have the toppings for that pizza. (No onions, no tomatoes, no mushrooms and no garlic!) We agreed to alternative toppings. The pizza did not arrive for another hour and when it did it was cold, there was only one portion of chips which were also cold. My cousin rang Dominos and very politely expressed our disappointment with this service. She was greeted with a complete lack of concern or interest, no apology, no offer of a refund. We are frankly astonished that a company of such renown has provided substandard food, substandard service and clearly does not care about its customers. We would never recommend Domino's based on this experience and it is apparent from other reviews that we are not the first to receive such appalling food and service. We expected at the very least a partial refund.

Reece and Ryan are awesome. After multiple years they get everything right every time. I spoke to some girl there one time and she was awful and couldn't figure out the basics and cancelled orders but seems she's must have left because not had to do that in months. The people answering the phones are exactly what's needed for repeat business. Shame I can't tip them because it's such a relief to not get screwed around with people who literally don't care about the product or customers!

Ordered a pizza and chicken deal for delivery it was Sunday 31st March and bank holiday weekend so realised it was busy but my order took around 1 hour 20 minutes to arrive and it arrived cold. Contacted the store and they stated there wasn’t much they could do other then replace it but that would also be over an hour so we agreed the pizza would be returned, I half ate 1 slice and 1 piece of chicken(both cold) My food was collected by a driver and a refund promised within 5 days but this has not happened and the customer service response was “dealt with by franchise” Very poor all round and will never use domino again.

Order took over an hour to arrive when it did the food was luke warm. I rang this branch up to ask where the order was after about 50 minutes of waiting to be told its literally at my door, but I waited at least another 15 minutes for it to arrive. Never had an issue before, but due to the poor customer service and how much it costs,definitely won't be using this branch again

Spent £56.96 on family meal. My wife’s pizza had no extra cheese and had unwanted chill in it. Obviously confused order. As it was a collection and we live away we could not return and why should we spoilt a meal for 3 for a Dominoes error. So I shared my pizza and called store afterwards for a refund on the veggie pizza. The manager said as we had eaten 2 slices from the incorrect pizza we could not ask for a refund on it!! Not sure what they would expect us to do ? Wait 1 hour for them to correct the order ? 1 or us go hungry? I will be complaining and demanding a refund from the head office. Until then I will use Fireaway pizza opposite.

I had a killer hangover today, so I went on to the Dominos app and used the 'any pizza for £9.99' deal. I ordered a large texas bbq pizza with a garlic & herb dip. The pizza was hot and tasted good, and my bottle of Fanta arrived cold which I was happy about- especially given the circumstances. The driver (older gentleman), was really nice as well. Thank you!

States open until 3am but drove there today at 1.30 am and store was shut. Hours needs to be amended.

Smooth and timely response. Place was quiet and calm. Staff service was good and although it's my first time tasting UK pizza, it was great. There was a 2 for 1 promo

I keep ringing domino's accidently as its the first one that comes up when you search for papa john's. Domino's are not the issue, in fact they're soooo sound. They shouldn't even be affiliated with Papa John's!

Made an order the other day for 1 pizza and some sides to be delivered. Took well over an hour to arrive. I called in to see what's going on and got told the pizza was made wrong (was a standard from the menu) and that was topped off with a vague apology. Not only that, when it arrived it was room temperature and there was no sort of actual apology gift like there used to be. What are you doing dominoes? It seems to be this store just cant get it right. I will never be placing an order with you guys again because it's just a waste of my time and money.

Went to grab something after work between 18:30-19:00 on august 9th, as I went in the workers were all swearing at eachother in a joking manner telling eachother to get f****d etc when there were kids around, phone was ringing and the girl at the front kept putting the people on hold to chat to coworkers, they told me I couldn’t order as the ovens all stopped working and didn’t know when it would be back on, and then cracked a joke that they are happy they can now leave early? just felt like I was in a secondary school, upped and left, pizza may be great but employees need a chat about professionalism.

I gave them a clucking chance! The chicken pizza arrived super quickly but had no chicken on it 😂😂. To be fair after I called them they replaced it very quickly. They could have asked if I’d like to keep the original pizza too 😂😂.

It was delicious, it is a very good choice for a weekend meal.

The Daughter had just returned home after giving birth and so we all needed a quick feed. Dominoes Pizza was her choice and we all ordered a Medium Pizza each. Now I’m not a fan of Pizza, as far as I’m concerned it’s generally overrated and simply Cheese on Toast. Having eaten this one nothing has changed my mind. The Pizzas themselves are reasonable although the topping is somewhat minimal and the overriding taste is the tomato which overpowers the main ingredient. Prices - for what it is - are high in my view although comparable to other outlets cooking the same product.

Great pizzas every time. Has never been dissaponted at Mutley Dominos. Pro maked, baked and served. 5 stars well deserved.👍

Staff not very helpful and borderline rude. I tried to order online as I have multiple times but at a different store. Told they couldn't do online deals over the phone when the website is down ( which i have done previously) I also couldn't order over the phone at all over the phone or even order in store as they had no card machine and don't except cash. Such a shame as the food was lovely! When we eventually found a way to order. Wouldn't use this store again.

Ordered two Pizzas which were delivered quite quickly. The meatilicious was very good. The vegi volcano was really disappointing, the base was soggy and the spice level was mild. Contacted Dominios customer service, who weren't really interested in resolving the issue.

I always have good experience at dominos,I am vegetarian and order vegetarian pizza,There is a lady sharon or shannon.Two times she made my pizza she makes a tomato cheese pizza with no ingredients at all, I complained and she said I am the manager and behaved rudely,I mean take it from any outlet they put proper ingredients,even this outlet most of times boys handle the order and I had no complain,i dont know that lady have to put ingredients from her pocket or what but she makes absolutely tomato cheese no veggies at all...

Fantastic experience! Called store for what deals they had in, staff really helpful and got me a great deal, pizzas were fantastic quality and the delivery person even got down to my kids height and passed them the pizzas( fantastic touch as it’s exciting for little one to order the pizza and wait for the delivery) 10/10 service

Received a vegetarian pizza with bits of chicken on it - sparsely placed on a few slices. This came to my attention whilst absent-mindedly biting into a chunk of chicken. I did not know that the pizza had chicken on it because, well, why would you, having ordered a vegetarian pizza? My partner and I are both strict vegetarians, and have been for years (my partner has been for 15 years) and would never knowingly eat meat. I called the wonderfully arrogant and condescending store manager, Adam. He informed me that because I had eaten a small amount of the pizza and did not perform my own detailed quality inspection beforehand, he was unable to refund or replace it. I wondered, because of that irritating robot thing that talks you through the steps in the order, what had happened to the quality control stage that they perform? The wondrous Adam, in all his intellect, made it clear that his team had made a mistake but that, because of their mistake and my subsequent consumption of that mistake, I had to pay the price. Although, a question has to be raised about the hygiene of this place - are they changing gloves after handling meat? Where are the containers with vegetables in, in relation to the meat? I think, with that in mind, it is worth avoiding this place. Not only for the lack of quality control, “vegetarian” claims, obnoxious employees, but also because of issues surrounding hygiene. Especially in these times in which we find ourselves.

We have just had our dinner from here and i have to say it was lovely and could not fault it. Delivery driver was awsome too!

Unfortunatley, the two times I have ordered from this dominoes, the order I have recieved is wrong. I have customised the toppings on the pizza , however they still gave the origional toppings. (Which is not great as they would contain meat and I am a vegetarian). However, they do send out the proper order again once it is disputred, but this has happened twice now and it is a large inconvenience.

Well, we were going to start Friday night Pizza night but after this evening we will probably stick to Chinese take away or the local pub. Ordered a take away supposedly as a treat for my 5 year old twins as their Dad was away. The Pizza was ordered at 5.45 pm and finally arrived at 7.15pm!! I had been on to customer services several times and they told me that the driver could not get through the gate (we don't have one) and they told me the pizza would not be cold after such a long wait (it was). I asked if there was any compensation bearing in mind it was a £10 delivery charge and they said they could send me out another pizza but it would have to be that night (why would I want another pizza when I was still waiting for the first one). When the driver finally arrived he said he had knocked at the door earlier but I had not answered ( a complete lie as I have 2 very vocal dogs and they only barked when he actually arrived and even when I rang up they kept saying about him not being able to get through the gate (which we dont have)). Very poor service, very poor customer service and horrible pizza!!

Yes I understand that staff turnover is high and probably very student oriented but don’t try to rip off customers at a higher price when deals are clearly on offer. I highlighted this to a response of ‘You want the deal?’. Well of course because it’s cheaper you fool. Enough said.

Ask for light sauce and it will be perfect, unless you like a lot of sauce, obvs.

Fast Food, Convenience food, immediate gratification none of these are on the menu here - Placed an order for collection - repeated the order specifics three times over the phone then marched through the rain to go and collect. With each step the thought of the piping hot cheesy comfort released endorphins...Who cares about being wet - It's pizza night! Freezing cold and sodden after a three mile walk I was met by a charisma bypass and a screwed up order right at the door. "Here's your pizza mate" my inner endorphin man is tap dancing now - It's Pizza night! I open the box to be greeted by disappointment and they've screwed up the order...Erm excuse me this isn't what I've ordered " Err, Yeah, do you want it?" No my good man I'd rather like what I ordered.."Er yeah they'll be a wait for that, are you sure you don't want this one"? Yes, I think I'm sure unless my body had become un-allergic to peppers. "Oh unlucky mate" you'll have to wait. Oh deepest joy! I can bask in the glorious charm and atmosphere of Dominoes are you sure there will be no extra charge? Actually I think I'll feed myself and my family elsewhere perhaps from one of the three other pizza places in this very street. What the placed lacked in customer care is made up for in frustration.

My niece ordered 2 boxes of cookies for her 15th birthday party. The Dominoes operator was more than happy to take her order. One hour later, as nothing had been delivered my niece rang again to check what was happening. She was told that they don't deliver only cookies. It would be nice if all employees were made aware of that silly rule to avoid confusion and disappointment.

Quick and easy order from the online option. We ordered a large amount of pizzas at a busy time for a school party. This was done without complication and of course it tasted great.

Ordered online for delivery. Lovely delivery guy but Awful, cold, over priced pizza first & last time I’ll try domino’s. It was sickly & greasy My daughter is a pizza fan but not a Domino’s pizza fan! Yuk Don’t waste your money!

Como había un error en el sistema informático, no ofrecieron ninguna resolución, simplemente no les importó que tuvieran mi dinero, sino todo lo que les importaba. no el servicio al cliente de un cliente leal, supongo que nos han perdido a mí ya mi familia por haber vuelto a hacer negocios con ellos.

Not impressed with the closing time, on google it says you shut at 3am and me and my friend travelled from Torquay just for you to be shut at 12:55pm not impressed

En nuestra primera visita, llegamos a recoger nuestra comida aproximadamente media hora después de pedir en casa que nos dijeran que no estaba lista, a pesar de que la aplicación nos dijo que había estado lista durante unos 10 minutos. El tipo que nos servía parecía un poco despistado, pero dijo que nos daría un grito cuando estuviera listo. Pasaron unos 20 minutos y aún no habíamos recibido nuestro pedido, así que subimos para preguntar cuál era el trato solo para descubrir que se había sentado en el lado esperando y enfriándose mientras estábamos esperando. No solo eso, sino que parecía que el tipo que nos servía inicialmente sabía que nuestro pedido estaba listo, pero simplemente no se molestó en decirnos.

So far as we can tell this is the same franchise. The long-standing Domino’s at the corner of Mutley Plain, North Hill and Houndiscombe Road has closed its doors and moved maybe 150m north to the long empty Barclays building on the corner of Mutley Plain and Seaton Avenue. Looks bright.

Absolutely awful, been to this store a few times, and every time the service has been terrible, this time i ordered from the app, it clearly stated Plymouth city center, but once the order was placed the default address reset to my home in wales. went into store and was basically told tough poo poo, we are a franchised branch so we don't care, take it up with Dominoes head office. on the other hand, the other branch even rang me, apologised for the mix up and offered me an instant refund. DO NOT USE THIS STORE if you can help it

There was an online mistake around addresses... after being push from piller to post to different restaurants due to post code discrepancy. To be told my order had not gone through. I was then told to place an order with a different restaurant. I then had to pay for both orders which added to be 70 pound!!! And was told oh well that's the way it is! ... the other store helped me out but I was spoken to disgustingly... NOT HAPPY should have just cooked but being on crutches with a broken ankle it's hard work thought this would be easy ... it's just ruined my evening!

Despite all the hype on the TV and media Domino's is basically a very ordinary pizza take away. Taste is a personal thing but I think for £15 and what I actually got I was well turned over.

The pizza was good and what made it even more enjoyable was Jordan (j-moss) we ordered our pizzas via the phone and he was the most loveliest funniest guy, amazing services. Going in to get or pizzas and Jordan was their, again amazing guy, couldn’t praise him enough, that pizza alone was good but Jordan made it just that extra special by the service.

It had been a long day I should have stopped at a supper market and brought 2 pizza but thought I would try a delivery Pizza I was horrified at the cost,but just went for it as it was 19.45hrs and we needed food on a sunday night. I was advised to change it to a meal deal as we would save £8.00 so we still paid £24.50 ,

Restaurant got the order wrong and disgusting customer service- staff were rude and unhelpful. Ended up paying £19.99 for a cold margarita pizza with a side order of bad attitude and insinuated insults. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM HERE

This is the worst dominos I’ve ever tasted in my life. And I’ve had a fair few of them. The pizza dough was raw, undercooked, and the toppings were raw as well. Seriously, do not order from this branch. It was disgusting and went straight in the bin.

I ordered take away on Tuesday 19th June 2018 for collection. The pizza dough was under cooked, pale, and in places RAW!!! The Chicken dippers were also under cooked and soggy. I placed the order online and provided my feedback via email. Unfortunately customer service were not interested as I didn't phone them to complaint. I am more concerned they are serving RAW pizza dough!!! I would avoid this store and chain!!!!

We ordered from the exeter street branch. We checked they knew the address and they said yes. 45 minutes later we had a call from the delivery driver to say he couldn't find us and when we gave him a nearby postcode he said it was too difficult and hung up. We spoke to the store and the first person was polite yet unable to answer why this happened. We spoke to the manager who was clearly not interested in customer service and offered no apology and was defensive We do not complain often but sometimes the service offered is disappointing and whilst I'm grateful dominos have helped me with the war on obesity they have lost a pizza my heart. As they often email me to say ...

I have read the negative comments from here but all I can say is we have ordered twice in the last few weeks and the service and food have been very good. We order on-line, pay on-line and in no time at all the food is here. No complaints. We live about two miles away so the pizzas are still hot when we take delivery. Very enjoyable.

Ordered a pizza for delivery at 9.40pm the time is now 11.20pm and despite 2 phone calls it is still not here. First phone call the member of staff told us it was out for delivery and if it wasn't with us in 10 minutes to call back which we did to be put on hold then to be told it had not yet left the shop after being previously told otherwise! This venue is literally a 5 minute walk from our house but having young children already in bed delivery was more convenient to us. The order arrived as I was ending this review, no apology given and the driver said he had only just been given it to deliver. Do not pay any attention to the app it is completely rubbish and gives incorrect information a complete waste of time. There are plenty of other pizza places that will deliver in a far more timely and professional manner. Papa Johns, Pizza hut to name just a couple.

Ordered the food online. Was kept up to date with my order progress and it was very quick delivery. Very hot and have no fault. Highly recommend. I will be using them again.

Pedimos 3 pizzas por teléfono con uno de ellos siendo un jamón y piña, en la página web decía dos coberturas £7. 99 jamón, y piña = 2 pero cuando fuimos a recoger y pagar nos dijeron que será de £10 porque era un jamón y piña ordenados desde el menú no cree su propio jamón y piña! ! ! ! Podría haber sido solucionado fácilmente, pero no, mal servicio!

Servicio horrible, no te molestes con ellos. No les importa la retención de clientes y prefieren discutir con usted y decir que estás equivocado en vez de disculparse o intentar solucionar una situación.

Una pizza por la pedimos, app y tengo que decir que fue el más rápido de entrega que he tenido. La pizza estaba completamente preparado, agradable y caliente. La pizza en sí era muy agradable, incluso si no pides el mal! He utilizado esta tienda una feria cuantas veces a lo largo de los años de visitar Plymouth y seguiremos haciéndolo.

Do not know why they would think its acceptable to give a burnt pizza.The delivery driver had no change.The person i telephoned to complain was useless

Ordered a pepperoni pizza, it came burnt not cut up properly.My garlic bread wasn't cut properly and and the topping was tilted all down the one side and the box.Looked like it was an old pizza. Given up on this branch now :(

After working for 13 hours I came into dominos with my partner and ordered a pizza and some wedges, they said it would be 10-15 minutes, we popped out and come back within 5 minutes. We were sat for a further 25 minutes whilst the staff were pretending to look busy, we went up and asked how long it is likely to be and they said it had been forgotten about, although they seen us sat there for 25 minutes and didn't even ask us what we were there for as we were the only ones there!! Had to leave because I was so annoyed!

My son order pizza today, he was told hour and a half wait but what a surprise no delivery after ringing was told two drivers were sent but no one home, no 1 my dog always barks when some one at door there no 2 he was waiting by the front door for half hour so when I rang they refused to send one. Either their drivers don't give a monkeys and telling lies and the customer service is shocking. My advice go to Pizza Hut

We usually order a pizza in and obviously dont get to see it being prepared. To be honest I was shocked. so much so i came back and looked up the food hygiene certificate rating as it was,nt displayed in the windows there, as far as i could see. The last time i saw anything similar was in the back streets in Bangkok. There are offers on buy one get one free but nothing in life is free as we know so £24 for 2 med pizzas and a garlic bread was an offer we did,nt take up.Our pizza was average. would i return or order form this company again ..No .

Forgot three desserts and said they'd deliver them with the next order. They didn't come with the next order so we reminded them to add them to the third and the girl on the phone refused, said it wasn't on the computer so we must be lying.When the pizzas arrived for the third order there were hardly any toppings and one pizza looked like itt had been tampered with... Never ordering from them again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE !!!! Thursday the 28th of Jan 2016 I made an order for collection and was told it would ready in 10-15 mins.... About 5 minutes later we arrived at the store and my partner went in to collect the order and I waited in the car with my 5 months old daughter... My partner ended up waiting 35 minutes and in that time she was given someone else's order and then watched waiting while few workers stood around talking and joking around !! When we got home with the order the pizza was cold and the wedges were stone cold... So phoned up spoke to the manager on shift and eventually was offered a free pizza and wedges on my account... So today Thursday the 4th of February I phoned to receive the free food and was told that the pizza was not written down on my account just the wedges..... Feel like I've been messed around and taken for a joke in this matter !!!!!!

Im amazed how popular Dominos is, it is expensive, the topping is very sparce compared to other Pizza resturants. The Franks hot wings are nice, but I can make them myself.
