Domino's Pizza in Plymouth

Driver delivered to wrong address! 43 and 46 are different numbers! Thanks to good neighbours who brought it over. Useless driver!

We normally love Domino’s but we’ve been let down the last two times with pizzas that are lacking the normal amount of cheese and sauce, so are dry and tasteless. I mentioned to the Domino’s customer service team who did not provide any reasonable resolution. We’ll probably just order and collect from the Plymouth, rather than Plympton branch going forward.

Very busy in there, employee seemed to forget who I was after 5minutes. Pizza was nice, a little pricey though, I've had better from different chains.

Fast service and easy to order online, but dang, flipping expensive. I could go to a restaurant for these prices. You can get 3 or 4 large pizzas at Asda for the price of 1 here. Really?

Absolute garbage! Second time in a month the food hasn't arrived. 3-5 days for a refund and waited almost 2 hours with hungry kids to feed. Ordered at 16:00 so it definitely wasn't busy. Delivery drivers need to be sacked and the staff need a decent manager to come in and sort it out. Thought it would be a nice treat but once again we were left waiting and hungry.

This has become a regular Saturday night takeaway (without Pj and Duncan, if you know you know). The pizzas are amazing, taste great and such good value for money. I HIGHLY recommend their new ultimate garlic bread I could quite happily live of that. The best thing is they also taste great the next day just bung them in the air fryer/oven and presto lunch aswell.

Outstanding service and quality

Delivered the wrong food, had to send back the chips in exchange for the garlic bread that should have delivered.. I had to phone twice to get it sorted which wasn't great, but.. they did sort it which is the main thing

Went to pick up mine and my daughter order last night. We got the message to say it was ready. When I arrived they said they had no record of the order. I went back to the car and got my phone. Then my daughter sent me the order number. The girl still couldn't find it. So I phoned my daughter again and she sent me a copy of the email. This time the girl went and got some help. They found it with the other ones on a shelf. Time I got it home that is less then a five minute drive both the pizzas were cold. So spent time braking the pizzas slices down to put it my microwave. So had to put it on plates, so had dishes, and it took time to reheat. So not a good start to a relaxing Saturday night.

We didn't receive the correct order and it was lukewarm. Then my daughter found a piece of plastic on her slice of pizza aswell. Won't be ordering from here again

Ordered a double decadence base yet again to find they had just put garlic butter inside it and not the sauce. The last few times I ordered online, there was no filling so I figured that I would go inside and order it and hopefully get what I’m actually paying extra for……unfortunately not yet again. Whenever I’m in Exeter, I order from sidwell street and they do a fantastic job and actually give you what you are paying the extra for!! I’ve complained to customer services online and because it’s a franchise store, they don’t seem to care. I will not be ordering from this store again.

Excellent gluten free pizza for mum.

Ordered two pizzas. One Texas bbq which came with no chicken and a meat pizza which I paid to upgrade to double decadence which came with two bases but no cheese filling at all. When asked why this was I was told they run out of chicken and were rationing the cheese filling as they were running low. Was offered to make them again but had already drove home and how would they remake what I paid for when they had ran out?!

Dreadful. They take the money for a Double decadence base but have stopped putting the sauce in the base. They're arriving dry as sandpaper. Literally no filling whatsoever. Despite bringing this to their attention, the last 3 deliveries have all been dry like this. No longer buying from Dominos, have switched to a rival pizza shop.

Pizza gave us food poisoning and when asked for a refund, i was told that there wasn't sufficient evidence?? Should I have saved the puke for them to inspect? I was a frequent customer but never again. Not only from the food poisoning but from the shoddy customer service skills.

I've had good experiences with this Domino's Pizza. I usually order for collection, and without fail, my pizzas are piping hot and tasty.

Can’t fault the service, friendly and helpful….but where is the cheese on these pizzas?!!!! It’s criminal. I had a domino’s a few months ago, and it was the same then, but I put it down to a bad order. However, it’s like eating burnt tomato sauce on a limp base. Is this one of those things where you have to ask for extra cheese or any cheese?? I expect there to be cheese on a pizza for crying out loud!! Such a waste of money. Should have gone to Papa Johns!!!

Great pizza made a lovely takeaway change

Bit strong to say I hated it. But when you find fault you can’t give above 1 star. Few issues, firstly not as much as a smile to greet us. Tables were sticky. Ice machine wasn’t working, when I asked about it was told if a lot of people use it needs to referees. Standard. What if it doesn’t work afterwards? Then that’s that. No apology, really didn’t care. Service was poor. Not as if it was busy. That’s why we went in. Everywhere was packed. Now I know why. Windows need a good clean too.

I didn't actually go here I just parked nearby but i took magic mushrooms and imagined I went in there. It was quite the journey to be honest. I remember being at one with the dough as it was rolled out into a pizza base. I felt like with each roll of the pin another one of life's worries had been squashed. The cheese was cascading down like a kaleidoscope made of yellows and whites. The tomato sauce was like a red night sky with Oregeno and basil for stars....

I am very disappointed since there were no dominos for me to push over :(

Took 14 minutes to pass me my finished pizzas just because the store wasn’t well run. Complete waste of £33 plus diesel for cold pizzas. Could have easily been different with a bit of organisation.

Went to pick the food up was it ready when they said it was we are waiting for 45 minutes pizzas the top and was not put on there properly four slices didn’t have no toppings phone them, and they didn’t wanna know really absolutely disgusting service

Ordered 3 large pizzas for the family, when they arrived we were disapointed to see the margarita had barely any cheese and next to no sauce and what we thought were melted cheesy patches were infact just charred pizza dough and very dry.The other 2 pizzas were marginally better mainly due to having additional toppings other than the cheese and tomato. I called dominoes Plympton to explain, stating that 2 of the pizzas would be ok but the margarita was not. I had hoped they would change this 3rd pizza but I was told that because more than 2 slices had been tried (family of 4) there was nothing they could do and they wouldn't offer a solution. We have found ourselfs ordering from here less and less over the last few years due to substandard food but this is the first time we have contacted them....very, very bad customer service from James and his manager, very disapointed in Dominos and will definitely not be ordering from them again!

I didn’t realise I clicked no cheese on my pizza on the online system! But they kindly swapped it for a new one! It was piping hot and I really appreciate the effort they made! Thank you! :)

Quick and efficient, friendly staff

I am a vegetarian and was sent meat in my pizza. Contacted the shop and was told I asked for meat?!?! Of course I did. Staff are children running a shop and have no clue what so ever. The girl was swearing at me down the phone when I was Trying to sort my issue.

Somewhat lacking in the customer service department, we returned an item because it had cheese on it and we had requested no cheese but was offered the same thing again with cheese!! So we left without a replacement because it was like speaking to a brick wall, the member of staff just didn’t get the ‘no cheese it’s an allergy’ as for the pizzas it was so bland it could have been cardboard! I should have gone to Papa Johns. Come on Domino’s train your teams

Dry bad costumer service , don’t understand what they doing? If I say want 2 same pizzas they made 1small and big 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Don’t recommend Plympton Domino’s pizza service !!!!

I drove 4 miles to domino’s with 4 friends to be told they do not accept money (cash). What on earth is domino’s? I have never heard such a ridiculous thing in all my takeaway experience. Domino’s will not be visited by myself ever again.

Ordered a pizza to a care home for night staff al cold even the wedges called to say we were unable to do anything about it as it was the last delivery of a night so had to reheat the whole order not a happy customer

A bad turn can turn to a good one. After a lot of bad orders over the years from the plympton branch I have to say tonights order was bang on and what we remember from domino’s well done to the staff on all fronts if this continues at this standard they all deserve a reward

Last time we ordered here we got 25 large pizzas for my daughter’s birthday and they were delivered on time and perfect. But you can’t seem to manage 3 with us picking them up? What kind of a company makes you the customer feel like you are in the wrong when you call up to explain that an order is wrong…. I tell you what.. A faceless cooperate company who’s employees clearly don’t care. They also don’t know what a circle is…

Domino's in general have really gone down hill in my opinion

Shocking service. Ordered a pizza for delivery at 7.00pm finally got delivered at 8.10pm! Awful service over phone, awful management, awful delivery driver. Will never use again. SHOCKING Service.

Dunno why this take away outlet comes up instead of the actual place I went ( China chef ) im not paying the prices they want for a pizza!! I like Chinese food. 👍 Enjoy eighther way. 👍

Ordered two pizzas last night ,we use this dominos all the time ,paid extra for jalopenos,my pizza only had topping on the centre of the pizza missing the outer by about 2 inches !Come on dominos !hardly any cheese either ,but over £20! This has happened on several occasions recently and if it happens again it will be my last visit ,there are other pizza places opening nearby and will be giving them a try !!

Dominos is Dominos where ever you have it. I'm yet to be disappointed by any pizza I've ever had from Dominos. Just make it a touch cheaper please.

Ordered a pizza with stuffed crusts but it didn’t even have it, toppings were lazily put on and only in the middle as if they didn’t care. Also only half of the pizza was cut. It felt like the employees do not care about their job and customers.

Fairly quick service, price is always an issue I have with domino's but usually can pick up a collection or family deal for a fair enough price, friendly staff and good quality standards.

Went for the new meat ball one so disappointed hardly any cheese or sauce! Garlic bread had plenty of sauce but hardly any cheese. £19 wasted plympton store need to up the quality control..

Great pizza but my only issue is consistency. We order with BBQ sauce as the base and depending on who's making it it can end up just being slathered on, which makes the pizza sloppy and can also barely taste the other toppings. Less generous with the base sauce please, unless someone orders extra sauce (which we NEVER do). Thanks. :)

Literally the worst pizza we’ve ever had. Pretty much ended up with a £19 bruschetta as it came with barely any cheese, we even ordered extra cheese as a topping. Tasteless and not at all value for money

Nice and fresh. Stayed warm despite a lengthy drive home.

Every time we order something is wrong this time wedges were stone cold. Not good enough considering how expensive it is. Also hardly any cheese on the pizza. Getting worse we give it a break thinking it will be better next time but it is not

Spoke to Steve I believe on the phone today. Asked for a chicken feast with vegan cheese as have a dairy allergy, which you can't do on the app. He was so helpful and great telephone manner. Definitely a top employee. Thank you for your help today 😊

Seriously lost for words when we arrived home with our pizzas. Living in Ivybridge we have to collect as delivery is not an option. £32 for two pizzas and a side including the supposed 40 % discount. I ordered the meateor and a texas bbq, the later was acceptable but a bit sparse on the toppings. The Meateor however was missing in action . Did the cheese actually go on the pizza and where the hell were my toppings? Its not acceptable Domino's. Your pizzas are just not worth the ludicrously high prices. I won't be buying another one.

Shocking poor pizza barely any toppings and cheese , well where was it? Simply not acceptable Domino's even with all the so called "offers" your pizzas are over priced and offer poor value . Thats the last time I order from you.

First time getting one since lockdown as are not able to deliver as far out as me. But they were very friendly and professional. Kept the place clean and safe to collect

As a truck driver while covid 19 is upon us, I ordered my food on line as I do all over the country to be delivered to my truck. Tracked my order all good until it was to be delivered. At which point I received a phone call to say they cancelled my order, because I'm in a truck and not resident at the address. Left with no food and no money as the take your money straight away but take days to give it back. As I tried to explain to the manager that I was now left with no money and no food and that nowhere on there Web site does it say that its against the law? To deliver to me. SO MUCH FOR LOOKING AFTER KEY WORKERS. THANKS DOMINO'S...... NOT WILL NEVER ORDER OF THIS RIP OFF COMPANY AGAIN.

Great service , called Tuesday to place order for delivery I couldn’t get through & the website advised no longer taking orders as very busy , with in 10 minutes they called the number I phoned from and asked if I would like to place my order , food was amazing as usual but service was out of this world. Ok pizza, but quality is not consistent. I eat here weekly ordering more than one pizza. Delivery drivers are always polite, sadly there have been many times were orders are wrong or things are missing. After calling up and a battle to prove wrong it is reluctantly sorted. The pizza quality is always good with the taste being great each time despite the toppings, cut or crust being either lopsided or odd. For all the negative I will always eat here again. Peak times can have waiting 40 mins but you can pre order.

Absolutely disgusted with dominos in Chaddlewood, staff looked like they couldn’t give one when taking your order, they got my order wrong because the girl behind the counter wasn’t listening to me and was messing around with her mate, when I brought it up she looked at me with a lost face and said ‘we can do you another pizza if you want’ meanwhile my foods going cold and I have to wait another 10 minutes for a pizza that should of been given to me in the first place. While I’m waiting for the second pizza, the staff are play fighting, laughing and joking with each other, stood against the wall not doing anything, throwing stuff around at each other and the list goes on, honestly seems like it’s ran by 5 year olds down there. And to top it all off the pizzas they made us looked like they had been chucked down the stairs and we’re swamped in grease and tasted overcooked and really salty. Couldn’t careless attitude and disgusting pizzas. Never coming back.

We gave up on Domino's. The last 5 times we placed orders they either didnt bother to deliver at all, missed out part of the order or just got the order completely wrong. At least theyre consistant.

Plympton branch never stays open all night for delivery. They take the option away every night without fail.

Pizza was very hot and tasty (even though 10mins late) but didn't get stuffed crust that was owed from previous order when were sold out. on previous order had call back after placing order online to say run out of stuff crust but rather than refund they would put note on my account that owed free one next time and for me to just mention it next time ring an order or leave note if do online (which did). Pizza came but no stuffed crust again so lost out on £2.50 :( . My advice if happens to anyone reading this is make them go though hassle of refunding you there and then or prob going to lose your money. wrote review on there own site also 5 days ago but no reply.

Wrong order yet again. I think monkeys could do a better job

Earlier this year i ordered a vegetarian pizza as i don’t eat meat only to find some ham on a slice and when i complained i was basically told that the terms and conditions state there may be contamination and i should have requested the pizza be prepared in the vegetarian prep area. I thought this was a shocking response so boycotted them for quite some time until this friday. I created my own pizza containing just vegetables and went through the online process and couldn’t see anywhere to request the prep area and i thought it may be on the last screen but that just confirmed my order as i was paying cash. This time i ended up with three slices of chicken on my pizza!! Not acceptable!! Again i complained and asked where the option is to put requests for the vegetarian area online only to receive a reply again referring me to the terms and conditions that there is a risk of cross contamination. They detailed i need to call the the store and tell them of allergies. This defeats the object of ordering online for easiness. Also i was lied to last time as this reply details they don’t have a dedicated vegetarian prep area. They also detail that the order taker ‘will do their best to ensure cross-contamination with your order is minimised’. Minimised not prevented!! No sign of an apology on either occasion. Avoid this store at all costs if you are vegetarian or have dietary or allergy needs. I won’t be using this store ever again.

Flour everywhere, all in the computer key boards, phones, any little crack possible there is dirty old flour. I get how pizza bases are made but rolling the bases up around peoples sweaty hairy arms is not what you want. Hair nets are worn but only cover 20percent of hair. Dirty place

Ordered online at 8.20pm for delivery at 9.15pm. was a little worried when at 9.05pm the 'out for delivery' message had only just come up on dominos 'dom' pizza tracker and the 'track the driving' wasn't working but fair play at 9.20pm the food arrived so can't complain. Ordered a Vegetarian Supreme stuffed crust with BBQ sauce and Olives subbed for Tom sauce and Tomatoes with extra cheese as well as Pepperoni cheese dough balls and cheesy garlic bread £21.28 in total as Honey tree app (strongly advise people to look this up if don't have) searched and applied best offer for me so got 20% off order over £25 originally. Pizza was superb, hot and very flavoursome with all toppings just as wanted. cheesy garlic brad was fine. Pepperoni dough balls bit disappointing as seemed to lacking in both cheese and pepperoni. Used this domios a lot and fine it odd how its always hit and miss if they will deliver to Ivybridge or not (maybe lack of drivers at times) so worth keeping in mind to look into ahead if planing a pizza night as may no always deliver to all areas them normally would.

We as a family have visited fine restaurant on a number of occasions, the staff have always been polite happy and helpful. They explained the history of cheese and tomato pizza, and explained the Italian term for pepperoni.

Sometimes choose not to deliver to ivybridge depending on who answers the phone. Last order took almost 2 hours to get to my door. They act like the cheese comes out of there wages. Both the app and internet do not let you order from this store.

Poor service. Poor food. Waited over an hour for two pizzas and chicken strippers. Messed up the first two pizzas and kept telling me the remakes were going to be 5minutes for over half an hour. Ended up with no pizzas and walked out. They offered a free bottle of coke. WHAT A JOKE.

firsty hour and half wait on our pizza then turnt up freezing so i called the manager who was extremely rude called jake, then his reply was youll have to wait another hour and weve already paid never are we eating here again poor service and horrible food

As a lotal customer of dominos and a member of the nhs where we get discounts from dominoes, i called to make an order from this brunch for delivery only to be informed that they dont do discounts for delivery but rather have to go and collect. I work at an nhs hospital and my if could have been shown on delivery like iv always done with other brunches. Surely my hospital address at work should be enough to know i am a genuine nhs employee. I offered to pay the amount and the driver can see my id before handing me the pizzas. Either way it would be paid and if i cant provide he can go back with it and not give me and they would have still gained. Spoek to the manager who still was not willing to listen. Do i have to leave work at a hospital looking after vulnerable because i cant get a break from work. Would rather order from elsewhere than this place. Greatly dissapointed! Dont recommend this at all

Constantly forgetting parts of my order when I get delivery or messing up and giving me hot wings instead of regular wings... plus the staff wouldn't stop talking about how they can't wait to quit their job and how they would not care if they ruined pizzas on their last day working!?

Placed an order with a young girl who sounded utterly depressed. I was told the wait would be 45 mins. Over an hour waiting, I called and was told the girl who took my order marked it as a carry out!!! I asked what would now happen, and was told would be a 30 min wait to make them up and deliver. By this time it was getting late so cancelled and was told my refund would take 3 days. I should have payed attention to their bad reviews before ordering. School boy error. Won't make that mistake again.

1st experience with (Plympton) Dominos: Ordered online. App told me my order was ready for collection. Arrived at the door. Was told not ready yet. 15 minutes later was told another 5 minutes. 10 minutes later was told another 5 minutes. 30 minutes later!!!.... got my food. What the hell is the point of that online order thingy when it's sooo inaccurate!!?!!. 2nd experience with (Plympton) Dominos: Ordered online. App told me my order was ready for collection. Thought to myself "OMG!!" 😠. 2 minutes later food came out..... relieved. Gets home. I start to eat food, after all, I'm absolutely starving and waited longer than intended! Gets half way through my munch... "something is missing?" 🤔. I haven't got any chicken on my CHICKEN SURPREME!! They offer refund or replacement if I stop eating and wait for new delivery which would be another 30minutes.... I'm starving!! No way! ABSOLUTELY USELESS!! For the record... I've gone to many dominos in the past. I'm getting old. AND I love my takeaways 😂. Never had any issues with any other dominos in the past. BUT THE PLYMPTON Dominos IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! Don't waste your time.... get a £4 pizza from co op next door instead.

Firstly if you are going to close early then at least have the courtesy to let people know.Secondly probably a good thing that this branch did as every time I’ve ordered from it I’ve felt physically sick after. Joke of a branch in my opinion.

Staff are always rude, service is slow and the food is always poor. I have spoken to the area manager before and she wasn’t helpful at all. Go plympton grill the pizzas are cheaper and nicer

Ordered 2x pizzas for my family after a long journey home.. I’ve found a hair in one of the pizzas !!! But whilst there i noticed the make line people were not wearing gloves between each pizza meat and non meat! So I emailed them with my concerns to be told that it is not a legal requirement for them to wear gloves and only down to personal preference! Also said that if I had allergy or dietary requirements the manager would of made the pizza in a separate part of the kitchen to eliminate cross contamination! They may think it’s acceptable to have hair in food butI do not!.. I haven’t even got an apology ! Never ever will I order from here again and I will ensure I tell all my friends the same!

I stop using this particular branch of dominos a while ago due to terrible service, however like a fool I thought I'd give it another try as I just couldn't be bothered to cook !!

Service etc is fine, however the pizza toppings are always stingy. Just wish the staff would be a bit more generous with the cheese!

As a family we really do enjoy get dominos as a treat for tea. But we are fed up with items missing each time or things not being right. Please please get it right next time.

Utterly revolting, undercooked, sparse toppings and ridiculously overpriced. Having had to drive there when we wanted delivery because the girl on the phone was unable to work the til (nor did she know what deals they did or didn't have on) we were still met with the same confusion at the till by the same girl. Huge bill which was queried and I was told that 4 extra toppings were just over £15 and that's why the bill was so large!!!! Inedible pizza and grumpy customers was the end result. Will never use them again, there are much better pizza places in plympton.

I use the home delivery service and pizza is always delivered quickly and with friendly staff. The pizza are very fresh & tasty, although sometimes the toppings seem sparse. Good choice of toppings and side orders.
