Great pizzas, super fresh and lots of toppings

Ordered a pizza. Halfway through eating the third slice, I pulled out a long black hair, as can be seen in the photos attached. Rang to complain and they offered me a free pizza next time & said they couldn't refund. I disputed this, and they then agreed on a refund. No hair nets? No custom. Bye forever.

Absolutely shocking customer service! We ordered takeaway. Half way thru eating we found a hair embedded in the pizza. Called to tell them. Spoke to a lady. She asked if we wanted another we said no and she said she would send someone to come and collect what was left of the pizza and the hair.. this happened and when we called 20 mins we got nothing but abuse off a guy called haan? He put the phone down on 3 occasions on us. When I said his customer service was disgusting and I was trying to explain the situation his response was “so are you” and the phone went dead! I am appalled that they don’t actually care about the customers when I work on customer service myself. We wasn’t abusive or degrading towards him. He also said we hadnt sent the pizza back yet it’s on my ring doorbell that they collected it! All he kept saying was call bak tomorrow at 9pm yet they are open 11-11? Disgraceful

After seeing videos on utube regarding the chicken tandoori pizza I'd thought I'd treat myself to one for my birthday today along with the chicken fajitas pizza and garlic stick total cost £36.00 and I can honestly say I was not empressed at all as the both pizzas had a 2chilli rateing but had no spicy or flavour what's so ever total bland only think I'd like was the garlic source and garlic sick to dip in the sauce which is exrta 59p each. Would not recommend unless you like bland food!!! And I wish as a customer we have a option to add extra spice to our taste as for the price papas pizza are overpriced. So unfortunately am not buying any pizza from papa johns again!!?

Awful. Truly awful. Says the pizza was delivered on the app but never arrived. Phoned up and no help whatsoever. Shan’t be using again.

Having not tried this place before, we thought we would give it a go. We walked in and placed our order served quickly and took full advantage of the deals on offer. Got home and was very pleasantly surprised. Definitely will be using it again.

There was no communication between the restaurant and myself, I phoned to ask where my order was since they were close to closing time, no response on the phone and rang twice, if they had cancelled my order rather than accepting it then letting me wait an hour then cancelling, I could have ordered from somewhere else in the meantime. The tracking app also stayed on we are making your order, for the entire hour. Easy fix to this problem... Answer your phones and talk to your customers. Don't allow your website to take orders past a certain time. Don't accept orders if you do not intend to make them. If you don't accept them then I dont have to wait 3 days for a refund. If you want better pizza's I'd reccommend Zaza Pizza, it's right next to PapaJohns and actually cares what it's customers think. Honestly I liked PapaJohns before this happened. But not answering a phone that's no doubt in the kitchen is just plain ignorance. Not to mention terrible customer service.

Ordered from here several times. Was good the first time. Won't be ordering from here after our last order. They got my order wrong, didn't pick up the phone when called and to top it all off, I found a hair in one of the pizzas.

I wanted a large pizza, but they refused to make me half a Greek style pizza and the other half pepperoni, they told me that the system does not allow it. I've ordered from any other papa john, they always made my pizza like this for 10 pounds, they never made excuses and refused.

Lovely pizza as always but I also requested two hot chilli dips but got one empty chilli dip container and one garlic dip that I didnt order and dont like. I will likely order the same next time so please check, Thank You

Ordered my x2 large pizzas at 21.33hrs, called at 22.00hrs asking where it was. Informed by the branch driver came and left coz noone answered, yet I am sittin in the lounge waiting for it. Asked branch why the driver ddnt call my number or knock on the door? Told driver left, wil be back in 2-3mins. It is now 22.20hrs stil not arrived and called branch again, informed the driver was never at my address but he is on the way. ??? What are you all smoking 🤷🏽‍♂️

Tried to order online for delivery, the website put it through as collection. 40 minute round trip to pick up cold pizza as the website also defaulted to a more distant shop. Gluten free pizza was badly topped and bad tasting. PJ's complaints team seemed disinterested in being helpful and the only request they actioned quickly was to remove my data from their system, I'll assume because its easier to was their hands of the problem than fix things.

Shocking customer service, I ordered a pizza and they refused to send it to the address I was at as well as being nearly an hour late

My husband Seb went in. Very good customer service, manager came out to talk to him. Food came out very quickly and was piping hot. Taste great as always.

So sat in my car outside, a colleague of papa johns, came out side and threw his paper towel after use right outside the shop, on the floor!! Now we all know there's to much litter allover, so doing this isn't good practice. I shouted him to pick it up, he wasn't happy, which I get, an then he was nonchalant and rude, again not good for papa johns! 16th July 2021

Pizza good l, shake they fail on delivery. And actually giving you what you want. Gave us the wrong dessert, brownie instead of cookie. Called up told they were going to deliver a new one. Then got called back and told they would need the brownie back. As it's company policy came after 15mins, What a terrible waste of food... Or did they plan to give it to whoever ordered a brownie and received a cookie dough.

I placed an order at 8.18pm for 2 pizzas both with vegan cheese as my children are allergic to milk. At 9.05 our pizzas were delivered but one had normal cheese on. Our children are allergic to milk. This could have caused a major reaction. How was this able to happen? At 9.06 I rang the store and informed them of the mistake. They apologised and said they would send another pizza out. By 9.55 we still hadnt received the pizza so I rang the store and they said it was on the way. By the time I'm writing this at 10.28 it still hasnt arrived. I asked for it to be cancelled and refund as I have had to send my children to bed with a Bacon sandwich instead to which he told me I wasnt able to get a refund off him but would have to ring on monday. So I'm now out of pocket and havent received the pizza either I'm really disappointed that family game and pizza night has turned into a night where I had 2 children crying as they weren't allowed to eat their pizza and another one never arrive. What a great end of half term treat that was. Please could you let me know who I can complain to about the experience and how to get in contact with quality control about the major allergy mishap

Poor delivery service, poor management. 1 hour into delivery the app says delivered so I call the shop to be told they are running late. 20 mins later they claim the delivery driver had been but the door wasn't knocked on.

Got my pizza wrong ask for bbq chicken gave me vacon onions on my bbq chicken pizza if i asked for onions and skanky bacon i would of asked shocking wallads

Like every one said before me, at first orders the pizzas was ok, now i am getting just cheese, tomato sos , and some bits of meat if i am lucky . And to top up, this junck arrived whit 1 hour delay today.

Ordered via the website. Everything seemed ok. Opened up the tracker for my order which said that I had received my order & to 'enjoy - I am not sure how you can enjoy eating nothing. Anyhow, I thought ok, its an online technology robot, lets give them a chance. 20 minutes later, tracker is still telling me to enjoy nothingness so I called the store. Advised re tracker info, just checking to make sure its not been delivered elsewhere. The gent checked and said the driver left 5 mins ago. No 'sorry, no So, pizza left the building 15 mins after the tracker told me to enjoy and arrived 30 mins later.

Disgusting, 7/10 times it tastes awful and is undercooked: the last straw today, was a hair in my pizza.

Called to order pizza on Saturday. The order when it arrived was wrong (both size and type). We called but they insisted that it was not wrong and refused to even apologise. Quality of the food was not good. Most importantly we ordered from there as they commit to just drop at the doorstep with no contact. When it arrived, the delivery driver handed it to me, kept no distance and proceeded to engage in conversation. Overall the worse takeaway experience.

Always great quality food and fast delivery from this particular store. The customer service in dealing with any minor issues is always excellent. And they now have a great selection to satisfy a multitude of dietary requirements!

Beware! Took money but didn't deliver Pizza. Kept ringing store and no one picked-up the phone. Hungry, out of pocket and a little bit annoyed. Not sure whether and how I will get my money back.

Disappointed. I always buy pizzas at this place, but today I placed an order, when I got home the pizza was totally unfilled, there was barely cheese and I ordered an all meets. Not to mention that the dough was raw. I understand that it was close to closing time, but if they didn't have time they could have warned me that they would not place the order.

Top quality pizza and fast service

Ordered on saturday. They missed a bottle of Pepsi off my order. I rang them up to be told they would send it out (still waiting). Neat enough everytime I've ordered somethings been missing wether its (paid for) dips or bottles of pop. Almost seems ON PURPOSE. Shame as the pizza was lovely but I wont be ordering again.

Pizza needed 3 more minutes in the oven. Chilli cheese bites were dreadful. Hardly cooked and all mashed up. Service fine, speed fine.

Ordered from the vegan menu, big mistake! Pizza took 1 hour & 20 minutes to arrive and was absolutely vile. Completely inedible. I’ve had vegan cheese before and it was pretty good, this stuff was like molten glue. Awful, plastic flavour and it stuck to your mouth & teeth as if I’d been chewing a print stick. The dough was pretty poor too, obviously been hanging around for a while as half had risen and the other half looked like shortbread. Really expected more from a supposed expert. Lesson learnt, will never order from Papa Johns again.

First time ordering from here. We chose Papa John's due to them having great vegan options and it didn't disappoint. My partner (not vegan) had various meat on his pizza and wings as a side. I had a vegan pizza with Sheese and vegetables and the side of vegan Sheese wedges with jalapenos. The only criticism I have was the wedges, which could have done with being a bit hotter (temperature, not the jalapenos) but other than that it was amazing and arrived in decent time. We'll definitely be ordering again!

Order 2 XL pizza on 2\3\2019 at around 18:50 the pizza was cold and on top of that the pizza was not baked good it was on cook the kids had to put it in the bin papa Johns your pizza needs some papa love will not buy again if I could of put a half star I would of do so

Ordered pepper passion pizza arrived cold and peppers seemed like they been thrown on at the last minute as they were stone cold definitely wasn’t cooked on the pizza . I complained to head office who informed me there’s nothing they can do . Great customer service not . Won’t be ordering from there again

Refusing to deliver to people who live a mile and a half away :') called to order months ago and was told that they didnt cover the area. Yet ordered via the papa johns website and they delivered. Then they updated the website so they dont deliver at all. Yet they appear on just eat, yet funnily enough will decline any orders. Sure, this branch totally doesnt cover this area, the area they will deliver to probably being only people on that street 😂

Pizza and bacon cheese bread just tasted wierd. Sent piri piri bites in a tandoori box of bites... Obviously ran out of tandoori and thought I wouldn't notice. Garlic special and garlic herb sauces were absolutlely grim.

You are gonna get a lot of negativity bias with any review here and after reading a lot of the ones for PJ here there are not as many people praising this one as there are hate on it. In my opinion this is better then Dominoes in price and Quality, as of this post too are also the only one with a reward scheme too. I have a Dominoes like 7 minutes away from me and this Papa John's is further and I'll always get PJs now even the the longer delivery time just because they have good quality pizza and amazing deals. First time I ordered here I had gotten a surprise, I got delivered an extra pizza and side which I never ordered only to find out it was was an order which was for someone else who rejected it. Now what was basically a free cookie and Pizza was nice to reheat for the next day but yh that was just a weirdest ever order I got and I knew they wouldn't waste time sending it back to store as it would a been thrown away. Never happened again but they haven't really messed up an order like that for me. There has been one occasion where it took an hour instead of around 30mins it usually takes but that was on a day there online orders were having problems (after ringing them 1 hour after I'd ordered) and it promptly came a minute or so after I'd called. They usually call you regarding your order if the drink/s you've ordered are available to sort out a replacement so that's good.

With a couple boys ordered a snack, delivery driver crashed his moped. We have no pizza and no refund. Piss poor service. Lesson for the future 4 wheels are better than 2. And make sure your delivery boys can actually ride/drive.

Absolute joke they close at 11pm I go to make at order at 10.40pm only to be told no sorry we are already closed and I sat on the phone trying to ring through at 10.15pm and they never seem to pic up the phone after 10pm and have of the drivers seem to sit out side smoking weed on there bikes and the little Asian guy inside the store don't seem to give as it about anything very very very poor attitude towards paying customers you've lost my trade!

Ordered a couple of pizzas, wedges, hot wings and garlic bread and the food was delicious. As this was my first time ordering on the web there was no offers deals and my bill came up to over £50 but food was great from the Allenton.
