Papa John's Pizza in Mid Sussex

This is the best papa John branch. Kami and the staff are very friendly. And the hygiene is amazing. If I could I would rate this branch a 7 star.

Got a phone call after 45 min waiting. The delevery will be in 1h30 minutes. Allready second time. No more Papa John’s for us anymore

I didn't have a chance to order a pizza. Was told that they don't take cash anymore.that's a shame. That's one way of losing customers

Every time we order a pickup or delivery the staff there especially Cam, Alex and joe make it such a friendly upbeat atmosphere and never fail to deliver on their customer service or amazing food which has never been anything other than superb. Me and my son would not think of getting pizza anywhere else as know it would be anywhere near as awesome. 5* plus for papa johns east grinstead

spent around 30£ and everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. the staff were lovely over the phone as i had some dietary questions and were very helpful and the driver was lovely!

Wow this place has gone down hill, the girl in there (allegedly the manager) needs some urgent customer service training fast or given a different role (as far away from the public as possible!) website lets you order for delivery and takes payment, they then phone you up and say you have no drivers, no problem will collect, how long? 20 minutes, get there for 20 minutes, nice chap asks for name and goes to get order, “manager” comes marching over and says what’s the name, don’t worry he’s already looking, well I want to look instead! Control freak much? Then states it will be another 5 minutes which turns into another 15, most of the time which she spent stood glaring at me, avoid!

Visited recently. I should have read the poor reviews. Most seem to feature poor service and attitude towards customers. Couldn’t be bothered was displayed from the staff. Then bad attitude was displayed by the staff. Then I decided to leave and go to another bigger chain 30 seconds away. Begins with a D pizza takeaway. Would I try another visit - never !! I was interested to see the other chain had a wait time and a line to collect. This place didn’t. Read the reviews.

I placed a order worth £20 everything was correct and very quick service considering there lack of drivers I believe they have done a amazing job and will definitely return

Asked for help from girl on the desk and got sarcastic response - clearly couldn’t be bothered - not sure if this is normal here however other reviews mention same thing. The sarcasm soon turned into expletive-fuelled abuse and other members of staff joined in. Quite astonishing.

I asked how big a medium pizza was. The member of staff informed me it was 8 slices. I asked 8 slices of what size? Then she told me I was being sarcastic. Seriously peeps.

As others have said shockingly rude and abusive staff. The most vile girl on the counter serving up a foul mouthed tirade of filth. Really sad that people think it’s ok to behave like that. Shouldn’t be in a customer service role.

Probably the worst pizza delivery shop. Rude on the phone put the phone down on me twice. Reason: I complained about the pizza not even being cooked after placing the order 1 hour and 45 minutes ago. If they can be talking rudely and have no respect for customers god knows what they are doing to the Pizzas, not delivered. Very poor

Just spent over £50 on pizza and get one little pot of sauce… come on guys… that doesn’t even cover 1 pizza crust 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ I will note that the food is great though. No issue there. Just a little annoying there’s no sauce 😂

The food was prepared very quickly, it was nice and hot when it was handed to me, the manager has a heart of gold and was very helpful and I could tell that the rest of the team enjoy working there. Its just one happy family!!

The food was amazing. Great service (cute staff)! They were amazing at preparing my food, it was cooked exactly as I had asked and the staff where nice and friendly keeping me occupied as I waited. 10 minutes later my food was finished and ready to go! I got home and the food looked (and tasted) incredible, the base was lovely and fluffy, nothing chewy (as I've had other places pizza's)and the topping where perfect not too much, not too little. All in all, it was a great experience and I shall be returning very soon! Can't wait! 😋😋

Perfect Pizza made for us by a lovely young lady, as we sat, waited & ate at the food bar.Chicken poppers were also great- cooked up by a young man working along side her. Both very polite & efficient.Lovely manageress, too. 🌟

Has been a few months since ordering from Papa Johns, but I understand it is now under new management… and boy has that made a difference, great experience with polite couteous staff and the pizza was hot and saucy. We will be back guys

Afull place to order from. Only reason i do is because its the only one that delivers to lingfield. Tonight i waited 1hr and 40 mins. The girl on the phone was rude. Asked to speak to manager and was told she is busy so cant. Last x2 times i orderd we waited almost 2 hours. And my orders were either burnt or the completely wrong pizza. Delivery drivers always really nice but the store staff need an attitude check. I sent a complaint to papa johns few weeks back herd nothing from them.

I have had two orders from EG branch where I have waited more than 2 hours for delivery - same story of one driver, broken down bla bla. Several phone calls and a visit to the store still waiting for a refund. Sad when there are so many other pizza options in the town - they wont last long!

My children ordered pizzas at 7.10pm on Saturday it finally arrived at 9.45pm. It was cold and inedible. Tried calling to complain and the phone just rings out. AVOID AVOID AVOID A complete waste of £32

Absolutely dire, avoid avoid avoid. Waiting over 2 hours for a pizza and over an hour since it was actually cooked, and no answer after 30 mins of ringing. Save yourself the hassle and get a domino’s. Hopefully they lose their franchise as they clearly can’t run a business.

Olli and the other chap running the shop on the evening of 20th August 2022 provided the best possible service and great tasting pizza. They both went over and above to help us as best as possible!

Wouldn't even give 1 star ordered food at 20.08 it's now 21.41 no food we called once told no drivers we'd have to come collect it when we paid £1.99 for delivery it's a joke. Told food is kept hot under a heat lamp for over 1hr 20 mins it's absolutely disgusting poor customer service. They won't even pick up the phone now to give us our money back! We will be storming in there shouting in the moment absolutely ruined our day with no food!!!!!!! Never use this papa John's avoid avoid avoid

Not happy, thought I would treat myself and son as first time we haven't worked different shifts! Pizza turned up 40 mins after it said it was out for delivery, so many olives on mine it drowned the taste, and only a few bits of bacon that I had added on, should of stuck to my normal pizza place 🙄

The delivery was right on time and with a smile. Amazing! Thank you! And that was on Saturday evening, probably the busiest time for them. The only improvement I would do to their pizza is to put more toppings on.

When it opened first time for couple a months, everything was spot on , customer service and quality of a food and good price, no delivery charge. Now it’s absolutely rubbish, pizza cost way more than in Dominoz or Pizza Hut , on top of that they charging you £1.90 on a delivery … I literally went back to Pizza Hut , can get deals on everything £6.00 cheaper and no delivery charge … greediness kills your business.

Absolutely fantastic service! The dips were missing and the delivery driver collected and dropped off whilst the food was still hot! Excellent! Many thanks for good tasting food, quick service and a brilliant driver!

Thought id try this place for 1st time, the staff were friendly but unfortunately Pizza hardly had any toppings on, was basically a margherita pizza. The the buffalo wings were cold and seemed to me they hadn't been cooked for long enough so i ended up cooking them again in my oven. not the greatest take away i think the staff could do with more training then could be a great place.

They have some good pizza options, slightly more variety than the Domino's next door 👀 🍕

Terrible. Waited an 1hr 40 mins for my food to turn up, had to call to tell them the driver was outside and had to actually deliver the food, it was cold and missing items from my order, didn’t even finish the first slice. Would not recommend. Waste of my money.

FOOD POISONING 26.09.21 Cinnamon scrolls gave us food poisoning. Will be following up but it is important that people know about poor practices here. Was very ill for 48 hours. 100% certain where ot came from.

Played spot the pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza. Poor quality food, sickly sweet sauce.

Mediocre pizza, base and tomato sauce are loaded with sugar. Ordering and staff all OK, just a poor quality product that's expensive for what it is. Spend your money at The Real Pizza Company instead, far superior pizza.

Don't bother, go to Domino's. Ordered online waited over hour tried calling Serval times to no answer. Had to go to shop to get refund. Poor customer service and staff didn't know how to process refund.

Pizza was banging. Never going back to domino’s EVER AGAIN. Way nicer and cheaper! With nicer people too. I was also at work and one of the workers came in offering a free large pizza. What a g.
