Food came quickly, hot and all I ordered was there.

I don’t know how hard it is to put food in a bag but 3 times now they can’t seem to do it properly ordered everytime between £25-£45 worth of food to not even receive most of it then you can’t even answer the phone to fix the problem pathetic

Now whilst i appreciate I've visited at the tail end of the Summer holidays I deliberately avoided lunch time and arrived at 2:10pm I then queued for 5 mins to even order (This should have red-flagged but sadly I gambled) I then strategically ordered a simple cheeseburger meal with an extra burger in the small hope that the simplicity would prevail. No, I heard the dreaded phrase "Can you park up Sir" and I was handed my milkshake. My heart sank but I optimistically thought "Maybe it won't be so bad"... Failure point number 3 was the first mouthful of chocolate milkshake - OH BOY was it chocolate flavour, like all of the chocolate ever made condensed into a single drink - I'm not expert but I think the mix quantity was a shade off. That was also my last mouthful. Fast forward 23 minutes and I'm at the window requesting a refund. A hopeful worker volunteered "I have the order here". No good I sadly explained, I'v bleed though my lunch break waiting for the order, alas I have no time left to enjoy what would have undoubtedly been the meal of my life, an opportunity clearly missed. (To be fair this fell way short of my worst experience when I was parked for 42 minutes (No I'm not kidding and this partly prompted to not wait so damned long again!)... As an aside and hopefully (if anyone even ever reads this from the Corp.) to assist with customer relations, if I'd been offered some complimentary items by way of an apology I might have foregone writing this review. (Sorry Burger King, I won't ever cheat on you again)

Ordered on the app to collect on the drive-thru, got handed the drinks and then told to park up - what’s the point of offering drive-thru if you have to park up?! Just close your drive-thru. Chocolate milkshake tasted like poison so I had to take it into the store to get it replaced and it tasted exactly the same again- clearly something wrong. An expensive waste of time.

Nice clean restaurant, quite small. Friendly staff. The drive throu is poorly designed casing a gridlock of cars in and out the car park.

We first ordered food, then we got the food in 15 mins, the food was alright but after we finished. We decided to order some McFlurrys, once ordered our McFlurrys which were 2 large smarties, 1 large malteaser and a large crunchie McFlurrys.we were waiting 20 minutes, then I asked where was my 4 McFlurrys. They looked around and saw some McFlurrys that I saw laying on the counter for 15 mins, and he gave them to me, saying here you go. I said there is only 3 he gave me another one and gave me two Maltesers, 1 small smartie and 1 crunchie McFlurry. I said I ordered 2 large smarties, 1 large Malteaser and a crunchier McFlurry. He finally gave me the right ones and I said they are all melted and he said there not that melted. I said whatever and walked off with them cause I’m not wasting my money.

The service is awful, expect to wait a long time.

Am vegetarian and they have given me sausage burger on my pickup order After that no response by staff As i have to throw it 😡

This is a BIG well done to McDonald's as a Corporation in general 👏 👍🏾 welfare and cleanliness is kept in very good order on and around their premises, especially for how busy , they are day and night, thank-you so much for your contribution to keeping our communities tidy.🫂

Had to change my review, experienced really great customer service, and there was a girl at the payment check out, who were so friendly and kind, she complimented my dress, and she was just lovely, I wished I asked for her name, she added some items to my order, which I forgot to add at the ordering station, also receiving our meals the staff was kind, and you can see they all work hard. This McDonald’s is extremely busy. These young adults need better treatment from the customers.

Despite adverts saying food would be hotter -it wasn't and I could not tell the difference between old and new recipe!!

There's large screens in the drive through that could easily be used to announce what you have run out of instead of having to wait until you get there to be told time and time again that there are no milkshakes and frappes.

Worst McDonalds I have come across. Even if you order the most basic thing on a quiet morning at the drive through you are made to park and wait - sometimes more than 10m. Meant to be fast food, no?

Terribly slow service, though this was possibly because they were very busy with Deliveroo/Uber drivers collecting orders for delivery. Staff were very polite, and attentive; especially with clearing tables and cleaning.

Didn’t buzz to come up or knock on door. Just left outside until I checked this app

Absolute joke, completely the wrong order, took it all back to the restaurant, was told by them to claim my money from just eat, and just eat done nothing as I did not take photos of the wrong order or its receipt that it arrived with, so I paid £60 for nothing, I I WILL NOT BE USING JUST EAT EVER AGAIN!!!!!, they are a joke of a company that will not help at all !!!!!!!

Well, I do like the bacon roll with fried egg & brown sauce & hash brown along with a black coffee. Sometimes, the service is super fast. Other times, the delivery guys clog up the system. I do have to check that my order is complete, as sometimes there is a missing element. Well done for all your efforts...

Ordered 2 x double Big Macs got 1 and 1 Big Mac although clearly stated 2 doubles on attached receipt. Another example of how badly run this place is. Needs to be at least shutdown and staff retrained. Abysmal.

It took over an hour for my delivery to arrive after ordering. When it did arrive most of it was cold as it had been prepped and awaiting collection for 30 minutes (receipt on the bag confirmed time it was packed). I have had problems with the last three orders I have placed through just eat. This was my last.

Possibly the worst McDonalds I have ever experienced. If it wasn't for the family asking for this as a treat and being the only one local to us, I wouldn't bother! EVERYTIME I order something is wrong. Tonight I went in to pick up....... 25 Minutes waiting because of the amount of delivery drivers. The are really uncaring about the public and I saw one push a child out of the way!! I checked my order, just in case, and seemed fine.... Turns out the double Big Mac was a normal Big Mac and the double quarter pounder was a normal quarter pounder in a double box!! This wasn't noticed till I got home! Terrible place!

Placed an order on the app. Went to the drive through to collect. Waited over 30 mins before someone came out with my order, which was missing all the drinks and dips. Staff inside were very helpful and got the missing items but by that point the food was all cold. Never coming back to this McDonald's.

Had to wait ages for the delivery after the delivery slot kept moving around and once the food arrived it was stone cold!

I want to be sympathetic but I can't when it's a constant mess.. every drive through order we have made gets us parked up, with food missing, no straws, no sauces or a combination of all three missing. Imagine 25 mins for a big Mac meal with no other cars around. Delivery orders always have something missing but my favourite was today, ordered 2 Sausage muffin meals, got a bag of 4 hash browns 😂 Eating in is the only time you have a chance to get the food you ordered at a warmer than cold temperature but some of the staff are absolutely awful to and about customers and a majority of them just stand around passing flat fizzy drinks around until one goes to a customer. It used to be rapid but now it's just a bunch of teenagers tryna get that wage without having to do their jobs

I waited 25 minutes for my order. I had to chase it twice. There was a continuous flow of delivery drivers coming in getting their orders fulfilled before mine. I got the wrong burger but didn't complain. Both the burger and chips were not up to normal standard. Some chips were rock hard. The whole experience was terrible.

Absolutely rubbish that we ordered at just after 2pm and it didn’t arrive until nearly 4pm. Food was fine - delay in delivery was terrible.

Ordered at 13h46 delivered at 16h15. It was Not the fault of the delivery person, but the restaurant that kept changing the time.

Driver managed to arrive bang on time despite horrific traffic, even apologised for the delay, went above and beyond.

every single time I order, there's always 1 item missing, a burger or a box of nuggets or something. every single time!

if I could give zero i would spent £27 on two meals and chicken nuggets not a huge order an hour and 30 minutes later the food come stone cold i had to microwave the burgers and put fries and nuggets in the oven to heat back up completely not the point of a takeaway delivery driver was sat on my drive for a couple of minutes texting on his phone to add insult to injury not happy at all

before selecting this restaurant or shower delivery time 25-30 minutes. once the order was placed and paid for delivery time was 35-55 minutes. then it changed again to 75-90 minutes so I raised a complaint and all of a sudden the status changed to on its way. the hash browns has clearly be sat in the bag a long time because they had all stuck to the wrapper making them fall apart and inedible. very poor

The slowest McDonald’s I have ever been to … Had to stand around and wait over 20 minutes for food. Cars were queuing around the roundabout, restaurant was packed, the just eat drivers don't help with constant nagging of the staff. The touch screens for ordering food are unresponsive and just terrible. Apart from that, the McPlant burger is nice.

I’ve never known a McDonalds where they are so unprepared. Can’t remember the last time they actually could give you the food at the drive thru window, even when there’s next to no customers! McFlurry, milkshake and iced coffee availability is sporadic.

Food was cold. I Watched the drive clearly go and pick up another order before heading to me, which was in the complete opposite direction, which meant that my food was delivered 35/40 minutes late, also the restraunt kept changing the approximate time it would be delivered. Overall very disappointed, and I would very much appreciate a refund as the food was cold and dry and I don’t feel as though I should have paid for this poor quality food.

One persons entire order was missing. we have requested a refund, but this doesn't include the service charge so still resulted in one person not having their food as we didn't want to pay that for a second time.

I love McDonalds but today’s delivery took over an hour, was wrong, and was stone cold. To make matters worse, it tasted horrific. This is such a poor reflection on such a big brand. Definitely not going to order from Burgess Hill McDonalds again.
