Always good service, lovely food

Paid £13 for a so called 'large' lamb and chicken mixed kebab....portion was tiny...and only 2 bits of small chicken. Plus hardly any salad 😡 robbed for my money. Do yourself a favour and got to the kebab shop on juntion road instead as they do proper portions....not happy. Won't buy here again

Granted that's not a massive crime but to take 1hr 20mins for a kebab and garlic bread on a Monday night is unacceptable. Needed something quick after arriving at railway station late on a Saturday. Staff friendly and food was ready quickly. Standard kebabs were generous in terms of meat and salad. Quality of food was poor, Pitta had disintegrated and meat was tough and overcooked but it suppose it was pretty standard kebab shop fodder (not visited one for about 3 years). Value was poor too - 1 chicken shish and lamb doner mixed kebab, 1 chicken doner and a small portion of chips with cheese was £24 which is far too expensive.

The chicken was cooked very well,it was juicy,the sauce was great. portion size was good.The donner was very soft and thinly cut,it was delicious.Various kids menus. Chips were very good,homemade hot chilli sauce and garlic mayo was amazing.. Definitely our choice for kebab, I would definitely recommend if you want to eat a real kebab.

Not edible... Everything was raw, found random pieces of pita bread inside the salad, which was made by lots of raw onion with 1 piece of cucumber. The bread that was actually supposed to be there was stale.... I usually don't leave any review but this was absolutely outrageous..

Was surprised to find this was a build your own kebab dinner ,. But hey why not ,. But then the pitta was broken and not helpfull,,. The meats were unfortunately a bit on the cool side when they arrived ,,. All in all have had better experiences.

I would like to start by saying that this is my regular kebab takeaway, they are very efficient and the food is decent. Today I ordered my usual, and it was awful. The Chicken Donner was drowning in Garlic Sauce, the Donner had no flavour and tastes like it had been grilled and the cheese on the chips wasn't melted. My partner and I have experience in the catering industry and we have come to the conclusion that a lot of shortcuts have been taken as it is a weeknight. I am very disappointed and it was a complete waste of money. I am reluctant to come back.

Ordered one large and one small shish and 2 portions of chips via Just Eat. Arrived after about 40 minutes but was in kit form. The chips had to go in the oven and the meat into the microwave to get them to an acceptable temperature. All for the princely sum of around twenty-four quid. First and last time for this joint. Wish we'd had Thai instead. Update. Called the shop as requested in their response. After I explained why I was calling, the person the other end just said, "I don't know"... and hung up. Got mixed kebab and small chips and a cheese cake for 15 pound plus 3 10 for extra for delivery and service charge. Not a clue why. It all come 25 mins early and all come cold or look warm. The cheese cake was still half frozen. More went in bin than i eaten. So no thsnks for me.

30 minutes late, food was cold but what’s more impressive is they even managed to wreck the can of Diet Coke, the drink was hotter than the food!! How?? Impressively bad, next time I’ll choose to go hungry.

Refried (disgusting chips, cold soggy onion rings, stale pittas. Only the meat was acceptable and that was still on the greasy side.. Last order from me

Omg it's the worst meal I've had in a long time. Chips were soggy, certainly not worth the money. Paid £32 and only thing decent was salad and pitta bread. Kebab meat for the price was disgraceful. Shredded chicken was also the same. I will not be ordering again. No wonder the bloke was in a hurry to dump the bag and run!!!! Hurry up Hassocks kebab and get back from holiday. We miss u.

Had a takeaway from here last night. Delivery was pretty fast considering when I phoned they said it would be an hour (came in half hour). However my lamb shish was very dry and tough. Donner meat looked like the end of the meat (dry and a little tasteless). Cheese looked like it was just poured onto the chips not melted at all. It’s a shame as the place is halal. Probably won’t be eating here again

Arrived in the hour, and the person was nice. The main issues where the food and the fact of how poor the quality is: I ordered 2 Crispy Chicken Wraps, which are meant to come with salad and a sauce. What you get with this is raw onions and if your lucky a slide of veg. it tasted of nothing and I ordered it with the sweet chill sauce. each one cost £5.90, The Cheesy Chips (Large), cost £4.20. where cheap, nasty and cold. Tiny portion and tasteless. and had to microwave them to heat them. Garlic Bread (Large) cost £2.80. which has 4 slices, from the top of a baguette. Overall, will not be coming back because it was too expensive for what you got. for about £25, you get nothing back for your money.

Called in here only one in burgess hill left open till 1am on a Friday night etc. £7.00 for a large lamb donner kebab. Vile. Worst tasting kebab in the UK. The pitta was even worse. Cheap and nasty. I was obviously robbed! People who eat here must be used to eating DOG FOOD!!!! Absolutely horrendous. Service good though! Do not go!!!

I'm annoyed we spent £65 here to feed family and friends yesterday. Generous amount of food but all was tasteless, dry, salty most was left. Chicken nuggets we had to throw out they tasted of metal!??? Chilli Sauce was milder than ketchup. Chips limp and horrid. Won't be ordering again.

Ordered from just eat for 12am, they accepted and said delivery would be 12.15am, at 11.25 I get a call saying the delivery driver was at my door. I wasn’t in as I was expecting my delivery for 12.15 and was on the train home, they explained that they closed at 11 although accepted bookings on just eat until 12.35, the person on the phone got extremely snotty and said he’d leave the food on my doorstep and take payment tomorrow which I wasn’t willing to pay full price for cold food as it would be sat there for 35 minutes until I got home... he then decided to completely cancel my order.Poor excuse for a takeaway restaurant.

We waited two hours for the food to be delivered rang numerous times to say they were on the way which they obviously wasn’t. The kebab meat had water in the tray and was obviously microwaved.
