Waste of money . Been in store to order 2 days ago and I've seen some Indian or Pakistani guy barefoot walking in store ,came took my order he didn't even wash his hands before making my pizza and I've refused to pay . Seems that the higiene there it's not in the correct place . Who owns this shop better fire them

Papa Johns perston road is the best place to eat pizza 🍕 in Brighton Despite the negative reviews I was really impressed with the vegan and vegetarian pizzas I got here. I thought they were absolutely delicious, indeed, I was very surprised at how good they were. Easily the best vegan and vegetarian pizzas I've had... will be coming again! Most recommend place for pizza 🍕

Don’t order from this joke of an establishment. Don’t deliver AT ALL and claim it’s nothing to do with them. Absolute farce.

Order not delivered and cannot get immediate refund as cannot call anyone.

Don't know the name of the server but he was a delight, helped me get all the extra cheese I wanted and I've got the exact junk food pizza I needed right now. Thank you to him very much!

Papa John’s usually doesn’t let me down but it’s a Wednesday evening and it took an hour to get here, fine no worries but when it arrived it was barely warm verging on cold and we’ve had to put it in the oven to make it a decent temperature.. not on really. The chicken and bbq pizza didn’t have any bbq on it. The pizzas are were also put in the wrong boxes to the labels , which meant the medium sized pizza was squashed into the small box, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t the end of the world but on top of it being cold and taking ages to arrive and not having bbq on the bbq pizza is just another joke. The delivery guy was lovely though. That’s the only plus to this whole thing. Edit. Just want to add I’ve just ordered a pizza with extra ‘beef’ on it and 100% was given Italian sausage. I know that cause it tastes like fennel and is definitely not beef 🙃 thankfully I eat pork! I love papa johns which is why I want to continue to order from here but Jesus Christ if you order beef don’t substitute with pork?! Just leave it off and do a refund! I absolutely hate fennel 🤢

The order was placed at 3:30 p.m., it was closed at 4:30 p.m., it's 5:30 p.m. the pizza still hasn't arrived, terrible service, drama!!!

Great little papa johns and was able to cater for my partners gluten intolerance and the server knew what we meant when we asked about the gluten free bases. We saw the server make the pizza away from where the normal pizzas where made and he took extra care while making it. After the pizza was cooked my partner said it was much better and larger then the ones you get from pizza hut. We will happily eat here again.

Don’t bother. Late. Don’t have their own drivers. Cold. Argue with you when you try to complain.

Ordered online Saturday evening, had issues regarding payment, called the shop and was assured transaction would not go through, I am now £27 pounds out of pocket and I didn’t even get a pizza . Keep clear of this place

Shocking customer service couldn't even explain that they were having technical issues and just left us standing at the till to fold box's. He was the only staff member present and barely spoke to us.

I am updating my review to reflect a marked improvement in service as of late. In my most recent order, the pizza I received was incorrect. However, when I called my complaint was taken very quickly, and a replacement pizza along with a free drink was sent in only twenty minutes. The food was good quality and while I was initially worried my evening plans were ruined, Papa Johns pulled through.

pizza was over cooked and tuna barley visable and cold for the money I think its a joke wasn't cheap but might aswell had been not amused . changed the time twice I believe

One of the best delivery pizzas I've had., especially after a long heavy weekend. The Philly cheese steak pizza was delicious. The Garlic cheese pizza stick things were nice too. Highly recommend

Placed the order at 18:39 and it was delivered just now at 19:57. The pizza was not even hot, we were called the restaurant, where it was confirmed the order has already been ready, however no one came to pick up. So ended up more than 1hour waiting and cold pizza. What a great experience! No more, thank you!

Arrived an hour late. Pizza undercooked and doughy. item missing from order. sent wrong items. staff rude, unhelpful and could barely speak English. no apologies. refused refund. refused alternative items. even the delivery driver said they are the worst company to work for and lose him money. no complaints about the rider, he was polite and friendly and probably takes the brunt of the blame for this disgusting place. AVOID. So many other pizza restaurants to order from. AVOID AVOID AVOID

For some reason this location has a terrible vegan selection and can’t put vegan cheese on some potato tots even though they clearly have it for the vegan pizzas offered. I tried to order in store so I could ask about this and was rudely told to go away and order online since they don’t take orders over the counter. It also now seems like most of the vegan pizza options are only available on wheat free bases - great if you have a gluten intolerance but annoying if you just want a vegan pizza. You have the vegan cheese and the normal base so why not put them together… we have given up with this location and just make the journey to collect from the lewes road store which seems to be better

Food was delivered by bicycle and took 40 min to reach the top of our hill! Called the store and they said go online to customer services and request a refund. That was it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Quite possibly the worst pizza delivery service I have ever experienced. This is twice now the delivery driver has failed to actually ring our doorbell to give us our food. Called the store to try and rectify and the customer service was terrible, extremely rude and didn't care about what had happened. The store blamed a third party delivery service and said nothing could be done. We will 100% not be ordering from Papa John's again, I would recommend avoiding.

Do not order from here. They take your money and do not deliver the food. No clear way to request a refund, shady af.

I placed an order. I accidentally missed one digit off my number on the order. No one ever tried to ring my buzzer for the flat number. Delivery driver said they left the pizza outside. which they did not. The store refused to send another pizza out. So I paid for a pizza and received nothing....

Have made two orders and had two bad experiences with this place. First order placed was sent to the wrong address and the pizza arrived cold. Another order placed via the app was charged but the order did not complete. Phoned the store to ask for help and the staff were extremely rude and hung up on me. Wont be ordering from here again and looking at the reviews i am not the only one to have had a bad experience here.

The pizza from here always tastes good, and the staff are very hard-working too. Generous with toppings, and are evenly spread over the pizzas. Unfortunately, they ran out of my favourite sauce, the special garlic sauce 😢 but they were kind enough to replace it with the garlic and herb one instead. And they even added an extra sauce for the mix-up! The app is so buggy though, I always have issues with it - especially with deals. I hate the fact that student discount are only through the app now, as they don’t work half of the time. This is the one thing I think needs improving the most, as the app is so bad I currently just use the website instead for placing orders.

Unexpected price much more expensive then other branches of papa John's which I usually take out from them, there must be exploitation here. I had it in Weymouth not in this price.

I'm always a bit dubious about ordering pizza from a chain but I wasn't feeling too well and was starving at lunch time so I took a chance on Papa John's as there was a 50% off pizza deal. It arrived quickly, lovely and hot and tasted great. I could tell they cared when putting the food together and unlike Domino's the dough was tasty and not like cardboard.

Fastest pizza delivery ive ever had. Arrived about 20 minutes after ordering. Perfect double pepperoni/pesto half and half. Delicious cheese sticks. The only weak item was the garlic balls, they definitely need to be thicker.

By far the worst pizza I have ever had. It took ages to arrive and the service when I cold to check where it is was appalling. He was incredibly rude and the tracker completely in accurate.

The senior gentleman who delivers our orders is always pretty polite and professional. He is probably the only delivery person we remember positively, much appreciated!

Double pepperoni pizza was delicious.

I orded dinner last night as me and my family were hungry now it arrived 1hr an 20 minutes late now when I received the food I had a cold pizza and I saw a hair on the pepperoni now it couldn't have been mine as I have blonde hair and everyone else in my family does as well and it was brown, I won't be ordering from there again as they won't sort this out as its not the first time

My pizzas were very nice , tasty and topping were spot on , I've ordered 20 large ones and they been made in tine for my collection. Don't relay on others comments, they are just some customers who wants to eat for free only .

Order a pizza waited for an hour and a half to be delivered and it was cold , phoned papa johns and the person I spoke to said what do I want him to do about it I told him to get the delivery driver to pick the cold pizza up and give us a fresh one . This branch (Preston Road BTN) used to be good but I ordered large pizza tonight and they missed out some toppings plus there were only a sprinkling of each. In fact 2 pieces had big gaps with no cheese or pizza sauce or toppings. I rang to explain but they were too busy to deliver a fresh pizza and I was tired after day at work to drive back to collect a replacement. They couldn’t offer a refund. I won’t go here again as i am sure there are much more quality pizza parlours!

Service in this shop is fast! I always do collection and they are speedy - However papa johns as a company make bland pizza domino’s is far tastier and a similar price point

Took 3 hours to deliver stone cold pizza.

Ordered at 5.17, recieved delivery confirmation at 7.18. No pizza. Eventually arrived at 7.35 stone cold. I called repeatedly but no answer, ended up going down in person and getting them remade while I watched and waited. Probably won't come back.

Ordered online and said the food was delivered, called them up to be told there’s no drivers and tried calling again for them to not answer the phone at all.

My pizza didn't came after 1 hour and half and they didn't give the money. I was calling them and they didn't take the phone and neither gave me back my money... No comments

Ordered for an 8pm delivery, it arrived near enough on time however the tracker stated it was in “checking and cutting” for almost half an hour prior to it being out for delivery. By the time the food arrived it was cold.

Still waiting 2hours later for delivery, don’t even pick the phone up! Regular customer. Won’t be returning AWEFUL SERVICE. If you don’t have drivers don’t except the order, or be curious and call the customer.

Tried to order but was immediately sent and email saying my order had been cancelled, I rang them up and they said that “they didn’t have any drivers” That is not my problem. If you cannot deliver do not advertise that you can deliver! Now I have lost my dinner money and will go to bed hungry as the money won’t be in my account for another few days. We received only part of the order and one of the missing items was - pizza! 😂 literally 15sec since we got some of the order we ran out but delivery guy was gone. After calling store straight away for 40min from two phones - 18missed calls made to the store from each phone. We finally gave up and someone called us after an hour after we got some of the order. After discussion we were told we would get full refund… 17days later no refund! :(

Tracking stated pizza was delivered at 19:33, Called the store at 19:45 to be told the driver is stuck in traffic. Pizza actually arrived at 20:00 and was cold. I know the route and could have walked it in the 30 minutes it took to turn up after it was stated it had been delivered Barely any toppings on the pizzas that arrived. Called the store to complain and they advised I would get a refund. Advised me to keep the pizzas. Tried a couple of slices but they were so tasteless with so little toppings that I ended up throwing them away

Avoid ordering from Here I ordered food missing one item I called them up and they was rude on the phone to me told me I would have to wait even longer for the missing item and hung up on me twice when I tried to speak to them Managed to get through to the manager for Him to apologise for what’s Happened and he sending food out right away and that was at 5:02 this evening it’s now 5:50 pm and I’m still waiting for the missing food to arrive if it had 0 stars that what I would be giving to this place seriously gone downhill driver arrived and waiting by the back garden gate when there clearly a number at the front of my house won’t be ordering from here again

Took an hour and 40 minutes. Tracking said our order was delivered 40 minutes before it actually was! Called to find out if our order was on the way and was told it would be 5-10 minutes. It wasn't. Finally arrived cold. We were regular customers but we won't bother again.

Repeated my order as I do quite often. Always delivered never collected but for some reason system stated it was for collection so I called the branch and the man on the phone said he would get a drover to deliver it for me within 10 minutes. 40 minutes later I called again and he said it was with the driver. My pizza turned up cold and disgusting. When I called up the man wasn’t interested in apologising and didn’t care if I wasn’t to order again as it was a collection at first. I explained the situation but he obviously doesn’t need my custom and won’t be getting it again. I expect better service especially after paying £30 for one pizza!

Service is a bit shocking, despite COVID and pandemic is still a thing, only one person wore a mask in the shop, the funny thing is I have a secure sticker when food is in the box when the food was never secure in the first place. I have a very sensitive stomach which means I can tell when food are NOT fresh normally by the next day. And what I had the day before is definitely not in a shape!

Avoid avoid Avoid! I purchase a large takeaway half peperami and the other half all meat pizza from them last night. Myself and my partner and my young daughter all three of us had chronic tummy pain within hours of eating it. This restaurant should be reported.

The Vegan pizza is terrible. It's the cheese, it just tastes horrid.

Worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. Made me feel ill for hours after.. All you can taste is garlic butter! It’s like they soak the dough in it for hours before cooking! If I could give zero stars I would!!!

The pizza is good occasionally, however often the pizza is poorly made, when complained staff have been very rude.

Nice enough pizza - expensive but deals available. However, the local place nearby in Preston Road under the railway arches - Pizza 500 - is much better and buying from here supports local businesses. Pizza pictured is The Works.

I order a pizza, before I deal it's gonna come in 35 minutes, I could order from different company, it's comes only in more than one hour, and it was cold, they just said to me return it or keep it. Very nice customer service !

Awful, incompetent delivery driver completely ignored instructions on how to find my front door, then pounds away at my neighbours' door waking the young children up. When I complained to the manager I was told 'You've got your pizza so what's the problem?' disgusting attitude. Avoid!

Waited 1.5 hours for pizza, called up, they hadn't started making it, called again they said it had been delivered to another address and that they would call back in 10 minutes with a resolution, never called back, never got pizza.
