Papa John's Pizza in Southwark

We had a bad storm here the other day. My lights have been going off and on due to this. Ordered papa john to get a quick meal. I got there the pizza wasn't ready. I waited an additional 10 minutes only to get an uncooked pizza. Asked the guy to cook it a little more. In the meantime I'm witnessing all of these unsanitary practices. The guy taking money is also handling the pizza dough..I asked him to wash his hands. Another guy has sores all over his legs with shorts on. He goes outside arguing with another disgruntled customer, comes back in and proceeded to handle food. Since my pizza still wasn't ready. I asked for my money back. I was told no cash refund. I called corporate and was told that they'd put in a ticket but no guarantee. Don't ever waste a penny at papa john. Unsanitary, unprofessional

Customer service was quick and fast , pizza was also absolutely delicious. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a chocolate brownie which was amazing , I will definitely come back here again.

AWFUL! Half my order was missing and the food that was there was cold and undercooked. I tried to call to get a refund but they kept ignoring my calls (I called 15 times). I had to walk out in the rain in person to go and ask for a refund. The manager just shrugged and said he gave everything to the driver (which means the driver would have had to have lost or stolen it). The manager was very dismissive and wouldn’t even apologise for any of it. I have been chasing customer service for nearly 2 weeks now for this refund and still no luck. AVOID!

Went in to order a pizza to take home, ordered then we wanted to pay in cash and clerk said no card only. So we left and will not return until they change this ridiculous cashless policy.

Where do I begin…Absolutely shocking !! 1 star because I cant leave zero. Wrong pizza but when you complain, suddenly no one speaks English. Manager on holiday when I telephoned to resolve my issue but when I walk into the restaurant, there he is, clear as day. Now they become abusive because they have been busted and suddenly speak wonderful English just not the type of English you want your children to hear, lots of swearing but still no correct pizza as ordered and paid for. Honestly….AVOID!! Plenty of places in the neighbourhood to eat and some of those also sell pizza without the abuse. Pizza Express, Pizza Hut, Pizza Pilgrims ALL within walking distance. Also, Papa Johns customer service do not give a S…T about us customers and that’s a fact. If you don’t believe me then good luck with trying to get through to them and getting any resolution.

I have been ordering delivery to my house for a small double pizza for the past 2 months and it has always been £11.78. Today I called the restaurant to place an order as I always do, the employee on the phone told me that my total is £22, I told him I always order from there and it always come to £11.78. He proceeds on telling me that he is the manger. So basically the manager is stealing from customers by over charging them. Disgusting.

As pizza goes,Papa John's is always good for us!Service was quick and easy!Very conveneiently located across from our hotel!Just cross the street and you're there!

My 10-year-old son absolutely loves this Papa John’s and whenever we come to London his preference would be that we go there at some point. Therefore this is a very positive review but it comes from a 10 year old

A crew of illiterate and dishonest people work here. I ordered a pizza with anchovies and was instead given a pizza with black olives. When I called the restaurant about this, the staff member told me that someone tried to call me after I placed my order, to tell me that there was no stock of anchovies. There are no missed calls on my phone. I had my phone on me all evening. When I challenged this obvious and provable lie, the staff member said that the restaurant was busy and sometimes their calls do not connect to customers. What's funny is that I actually called the restaurant before my order was delivered, because I'd been waiting over 30 minutes. The staff member I spoke to could have easily told me about the anchovy situation at that point, but they didn't. I will not be ordering from here again.

Discrimination for manager on shift even insulting and asking for a fight just because I ask for a refund after o was told even if as a customer I could use a toilet. Is this the kind of people you want as a face of the brand?
