Ordered over an hour ago, didn't receive an order confirmation until 30 mins after I ordered. Waited a further 40 mins for delivery. Noone picks up the phone. Won't be ordering again.

I am working in Specsavers which is almost next door to papa Jones in Harpenden I must admit that the staff are very friendly and taking good care of my lunch break, even though i am not sure which size i will end up in By end of this year!!! Lol 😆 but i can highly recommend lunch time offers and lets all support local businesses! Thanks papa Jones team

Stopped in for a lunchtime pizza today, ordered a ham and pineapple. Barely any pineapple and about 3 bits of ham. This place has really gone downhill the last few years since the new indian owners took over. Also, when I just googled this place to leave this review, I had to laugh at the blatantly fake positive reviews to counteract all the negative ones, all suspiciously left by people with Asian names.. it's pretty obvious it's either the workers or the owners friends and family leaving the reviews.

The food was cold on arrival and part of the order was missing this was rectified but also cold for the price I paid I would have preferred hot food

Not hot & not on time. I ordered at 4 pm on a Monday, hardly the pizza rush hour but it still took over 45 minutes to arrive and was tepid at best on delivery. The assumably agency driver had marked the delivery as delivered a good while before they showed up, I assume as it would probably incur a penalty from the store if not delivered on time. I used to order at least once a week & looked forward to the red mini arriving with my piping hot food but now it's just an expensive indulgence which doesn't live up to expectations & to be charged an extra £2 for delivery is just extracting the urine, I fear the only time I will use them again in the future will be when they have a stupid deal on for collection.

Really nice pizzas, much better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. I started going there because I was driving past and thought I'd try their pizzas. They had a special £7.99 for a medium pizza you pick up, which I thought was quite reasonable, so I went twice and had the chicken fajitas pizza, which is really nice. On the third occasion, which was within a week, I went back, and the sign had been removed, and a handwritten piece of paper stuck close to the till stating the medium had gone up to £9.99. I bought a pizza, but at this price, I won't be able to have their pizzas very often. Great pizzas, though!

AVOID MASSIVE ALLERGY CONCERN!!!! After leaving a great review unfortunately after tonight's experience with the manager and staff at the harpenden branch I will now be avoiding Papa John's. I made a delivery for a vegan cheese pizza as my daughter has a milk ALLERGY after collecting my order and finding a milk cheese pizza I called the manager, he offered to replace the pizza! When I came to collect my pizza I explaining how serious the situation could have been had I not checked her pizza and he just laughed at me and joked with his work colleagues! If you have ALLERGIES AVOID SERIOUS HEALTH CONCERN

If you want a pizza delivered quickly and still hot, you can depend on the Papa in Harpenden. I ordered via the app and the tracker keeps you informed of the progress of your order. I particularly like the 50/50 option to have two different styles of toppings on one pizza.

Cold pizza and very rude staff!! Should have visited dominos! Use to be a great branch prior to new ownership!

Terrible customer service, got the order completely wrong and when phoned to inform them, they just argued and sent the delivery driver with a fake receipt! Even though I had email confirmation of my actual order from the night. Save your money and go to elsewhere!

I’m not sure what all the fuss is about ? Highly overrated pizza won’t be using again also missed toppings off the order

The WORST! Do not order via Uber eats they will take your money and won’t deliver then shout at you when you check in on the order. Avoid avoid avoid.

When you get a pizza craving and don’t want to leave the house, this is the place to go.. great US style pizza, delivered hot. Some amazing deals often available which makes it great value

Ordered Pizza from this place. Handling lots of money then immediately watched them put cheese and toppings on a pizza without washing hands. Disgusting. Absolutely no exuse and it was quiet. Ricky was very rude when i pointed out how unhygienic it was - and said that i shouldnt worry as she didnt do the same with my Pizza, only the next poor unsuspecting customer. Wont be back. Probably safer to go to Dominoes round the corner.

Whenever I’m in the mood for a pizza, I go to Papa John’s in Harpenden High Street. Never bother ringing up and ordering before I get there because they’ve always got some sort of deal on and the menus are new in the shop. Top tip, it takes about 15 minutes after order for your pizza/s etc to be cooked, so I always pop over to Sainsbury’s and buy the bottles of pop as they are about half the price. As there’s plenty of parking, you can drop the bottles off in the car before going back to pick your pizzas up and then there’s less to carry.

Fast delivery and BBQ wings were nice, garlic pizza and both pizza's were too dry to eat but the dogs were happy.

We only have a pizza delivery a few times a year - usually if children and/or grandchildren are over. Our usual place was quoting long deliveries so we decided to give Papa John's a go. Delivery was quite fast but it was not that hot and the topping was thin. Also quite expensive for what it was. Doubt I will use again.

Don't bother. Waited 1 hour 10 minutes still not delivered. Phoned them to be told they just started cooking it and it won't be ready for another 20 minutes and they don't even care!!!!!

Excelent service. I ordered and paid using Android app, the pizza was ready for me when I went to pick up. Delicious and fresh. I noticed they have new employees, much happier and kind than the older ones. I always buy here and never had problems.

Don't even deserve one star! Sent us burnt pizza which we tried to eat and the pizza was getting more burnt the further we ate it and they refused to do anything about it because we had eaten a few slices! Manager was rude and shouting down the phone at us! Avoid this Papa John's
