Mcdonald's Restaurants in St Albans

Had a McDelivery, half of my order missing. Tried to call the restaurant, no one answers! Left a message on their machine, no one has called me back. Talked to Uber who carried out the delivery service, they cannot do anything but refund the food. Won’t refund the delivery cost. Told me to reorder for the missing food and pay again for delivery! Jokers. Not a good system, obvious flaws if your order is wrong. Won’t get any food delivered again.

Dreadfully McDonald's, under staffed, badly managed and always get orders wrong. Specifically told onions in buger but added them anyway making our side ill.

This is possibly the worst McDonalds I’ve ever known! They say that a delivery order is done correctly will be the start of Ragnarök! We’ve placed multiple order and always never get the sauces and on multiple occasions. Meals in the past have had the main burger missing as well as any additional. Please can this be addressed and get sorted. It’s not difficult to follow an order I’m sure!!

not even sure what to say here. saw spit or what could’ve been yellow snot in my 5 year olds order. very unprofessional and disgusting.

I used to drink here regularly and called it "The Youth Club" because being in my early twenties I felt too old. I visited because they had live music on I was really impressed. The beer was excellent and the music was very good. Two reasons firstly volume, you could enjoy the music without it being too loud, secondly the artist was given a great space to play. Really nice pub with a great atmosphere and nice beer, next to the park, and the Cathedral.

Ordered online and delivered for my boys. If I ever get something from the St Albans McDonalds, I always check in the bag before I leave because they very often get the order wrong. In this case the delivery from Uber Eats was great, the driver was very friendly. The bags are sealed, and on the outside is the list of things I ordered. Inside, however, it was not correct. Some small things like ketchup missing (I have some of that in the cupboard), but they also got the chicken nuggets wrong, and I got 6 instead of 9. Two stars because it's not Terrible and it's not Average (although it is for this franchise). I don't think I'll order delivery from them again - too risky that I'll have unhappy children. No way to complain to McD's, if it's delivered they say to go to Uber Eats, but they're not the ones who put the wrong stuff in the bags.

Had a poor Just Eat experience and the food was delivered cold. They wouldn’t help so went straight to the restaurant. They were extremely helpful and replaced the whole meal and included extras. Well done to Emmanuel and the team for resolving the issues and ensuring we didn’t go hungry. Great customer service

The food was stone cold and inedible. I was flabbergasted that, upon raising a complaint, the only option given was a measly credit and no question as to whether that was a satisfactory resolution. The ONLY acceptable solution for me would have been a full refund and I have been unable to escalate this complaint. A poor show from Just Eat.

My order took 2 hours when it got here it was freezing cold plus my drinks were missing so was one medium fries and both brownies not at all happy about this

Usually I wouldn't order I'd drive, not every often I go to McDonald's but it was late and arrived cold Because the driver was on a bicycle and honestly drivers should be in a car or a moped so food doesn't go cold, also a whole drink had split apart

Love macdonalds food but today got very Unexpected humiliation by the white shirt shift manager. I faced Too much disrespectful behaviour just half hour ago. You don't have right to insult anyone if you are frustrated please take a break. This should not be the to end your frustration.

Despite the food taking a very short time it was absolutely freezing cold. Like it had sat there for ages. The food looked like it had been thrown together, sauce everywhere, terrible.

Just eat riders pick up orders and sit on their bikes smoking and talking on the phone or deliver for other companies as well. I’ve never ordered anything and it’s warm and Just Eat drivers are the worse! Needs sorting out ASAP. No more for me thanks

After ordering at 14:17 the food didn’t arrive until 15:38 and it was cold! Really disappointed, such a pity as had good hot food from there before. If I had known it was going to take that long I would have ordered from somewhere else. They really should give you realistic times so we can choose appropriately.

Driver came to block i let them in they did not come to my door did not keave my food somehow got the code and and added it so it appeared delivered it was not!!!!

McDonald's is ok for a quick meal, can get very busy at times. Seems expensive to me for what it is. Their coffee is always to hot.

Food was missing medium fries and a large fries and when I reached out to ask for a refund they said they cause give me a refund for the fries

The driver turned up with the food in a plastic bad and not the special keep warm bags.

I ordered a mc rib with no pickles as I am allergic to them it was delivered with pickles no onion and cold chips were cold coffee was cold with no sugars as I request them in delivery Notes so my lunch was binned for me uneatable

Ordered on the app for collection from drive through. At the payment counter I asked if I can change one item in my order. The answer was "unfortunately no. " I don't think this is true

Had the worst 24hrs after dining here. Had a bit to eat Friday afternoon, Mrs had to return her food as it didn't look great , got home 4-5 hours later started feeling unwell. Few hours after that started shivering , vomited and loss of energy you name it I got it. Will not eat here again

Stay away, disorganised. Friday afternoon/evening, probably 20 people in the entire restaurant and yet we still waited over 30 minutes for our order (table service). After chasing twice it finally came and the food was cold. The kitchen sounded as they they were fighting with each other. If we were not here for a family meal I’d say it’s an interesting disorganised circus to come watch them try and serve food.

I ordered food at around 6:50PM and it was estimated to arrive between 7:10-7:30PM and it didn’t arrive at all. On the app it says it was delivered but it clearly wasn’t to my house. I didn’t receive the food and I waited for and I want my money back

we asked for no cheese as we have allergies, the mc muffin came with cheese. this is not acceptable, I would like a refund. even the label on it said no cheese?

You can always rely on this McDonalds for a few things… Your order will take far longer than any other McDonald’s you’ve experienced and even though you would have waited much longer than expected of a fast food restaurant you’re also guaranteed to be missing items OR the items will be incorrect (not plain etc). It’s really not rocket science guys, the number of times I’ve had to correct an order far outweighs the number of correct orders. This chain is simply not good enough- I wish McDonald’s would investigate what’s gone wrong in the last few years. I’m done with this particular chain.

This restaurant is awful. I made an order via their ridiculous app and I only received half of it, despite the fact I have been charged for the missing items. Although the error has been clearly made by the restaurant, their customer service tells you to contact Uber Eats in a number that they never pick up. I lost my money and 1 hour trying to find someone over the phone. They ruined my evening. I will never eat from them again. It's a petty that a huge brand is working like a bunch of scammers.

'Large' fries came in a box that was half full at the most, and the drink was spilt. I got the money back on the drink but I won't be bothering again, waste of money.

Food is normally pretty fresh or as fresh as a McDonald’s can be. Service is very slow here as third party delivery drivers are very numerous and along with drive thru seem to take priority. If you've asked for anything outside of a standard burger for example "no cheese". Then inspect it before you leave as numerous times they have got it wrong for me. Not a very clean seating area and pretty bland, zero for kids to do.

The visit was okay. Used the table service facility on the self checkout machine. The food took some time to arrive as the place was very busy with lots of customers waiting for their orders standing nearby the entrance. Plenty of car parking spaces and the food quality was pretty average. Done the job. Recommend for a cheap value bite.

When I go to pick Uber delivery orders the staff always late to get the order ready And they are very rude when I ask about the order I waited over 20 min today for the order instead of Saying sorry for their lateness the staff are very rude.

Whilst the porridge and coffee were piping hot as one would expect, the bacon roll was stone cold as if it had been standing for a while. No fault of the courier as he got from the restaurant to my house very quickly

Again no Tate & Lyle syrup provided for the porridge, something which seems to occur with some regularity with this branch of McDonalds

Appalling. Ordered a very simple meal at the drive thru. Wanted normal cheese instead of vegan cheese in my McPlant because the vegan cheese upsets my stomach. They said they were not allowed to change the cheese! I've never heard anything so ludicrous. In the end I had to suggest no cheese at all otherwise I'd be forced into having something I didn't want. I cannot think of a reason on Earth why they could not just give me normal cheese. Then when they gave me my order they forgot my milkshake so had to wait even longer. And the milkshake cup was only just over half full. On a previous occasion I asked for a Filet O Fish but without the fish because I wanted to put some cheese bites in the bun instead. I asked for some extra cheese instead. They charged me for the extra cheese even though I didn't have the fish!!! If the founders of McDonald's could see the service and food quality provided now they'd be in disbelief.

Ordered via Deliveroo, order took over and hour, food was stone cold, burger was like cardboard, fries tasted like they were last weeks, threw it in the bin.

Stuck outside waiting a ridiculous length of time yet again for a simple order with no special requests or changes despite having used their app to allegedly speed things up! Why did I bother ………….

The food was uneatable the chips taste stale and stone cold along with the burgers being cold as if my food had sat out for ages before delivery, the coke was flat and taste like syrup. Unhappy with this order

Can’t even get a simple order right. Forgot the cheeseburger. Luckily just eat refunded me. Also added the wrong sauces on for my chicken selects. It’s not that hard is it!

The driver asked for a 4 digit code. There was no 4 digit code in the email I received confirming the order. A few minutes later the driver wouldn’t pass the food over . Eventually I gave him the last 4 digits of my phone number.

everything was cold. hash browns, and sausage pattys, had to be reheated. the tea was cold, and not even any milk or sugar sent with item. (again had to use microwave). sorry but worst delivery i have had for years from McDs...not good.
