Mcdonald's Restaurants in St Albans

Ordered 2 big mcflurries & medium fries with 2 steakhouse stacks. The woman plonked the food on the counter, called the number, then walked away. The 2 biscoff mcflurries weren't even half full with hardly any biscoff in them & the medium fries were less than half full also. Also, neither of the steakhouse stacks had any cheese in them, which I noticed when we eventually got to eat. I tried calling the woman who plonked my order & she ignored me. McDonald's are either going skint & rationing on their food or this is a dodgy restaurant with poorly trained staff. Don't bother dining here unless you like being ripped off

Staff nice and friendly, tbh I need to be eating healthy but this is just convenience food.

I was in a good mood before I went to mcdonald's today. Then the young lady or I should say girl in the window was so rude to me for no reason and clearly had no any customer service skills whatsoever but a lot of attitude and a self-centered mind with very little logic in her very little brain. OH dear please go to a farm to work or somewhere you dont have to deal with people, because this is not your thing darling!

I stopped picking up food deliveries from here because it's all over the place. The Franchise owners need to investigate and get things in to order. During busy periods, all hell breaks loose and they simply can not meet the demand. Store needs re-designing to assist with efficiency, i.e. "delivery partner" entrance on the side of the building to ease congestion at the till. The managers need to communicate more with delivery partners to get orders off the shelf, RATHER THAN LETTING US FIGHT TO GET SOMEONE'S BLOODY ATTENTION! 🤣

McDonald’s isn’t the same anymore. The food has gone downhill. The milkshake machine is hardly ever working. Such a let down now. When I got it delivered it was ice cold and loads of food missing. So disappointing .

Disrespectful employees treat delivery men with lack of respect and lack of education.

Would have given no stars if possible. Staff were rude when tsking the order and a pot of sauce was covered in bits of dust and thrown in the bag on top of the chips. Cheeseburger had no cheese it was all inedible!

god awful food, mostly awful staff only reason for 5 star is happy chappie who served me in the drive thru, he was a great chatty guy and i never got his name but he was cool and he’s the only reason i’ll be going to this mcdonald’s from now on

Good food. Delivered hot and on time by a friendly driver

It took over an hour and half from ordering to delivery. The food was cold and there was no butter or sauce for the pancakes

I order for filet o fish and xtra tartar and they only give me filet -o fish cheese so I don't enjoy the food today .

The driver clearly opened the bad and stole the burger from the ordwe

the drink came and it split all in the bag and I lost 50% of my drink, refund if possible would be greatly appreciated

I have been trying to cancel the order as it's taken 2 hours nearly but wouldn't let me on the app trying to call the shop no answer had gone somewhere else to get food so want a full refund

Very crowded on weekdays and there's not enough self service machines to cope but overall a good experience.

Ordered from here multiple times, Not doing it anymore. Every time it’s either been stone cold or multiple items missing. For example last Time, my Nana ordered a quarter pounder meal, I ordered a mcplant meal. What we received was two Big Mac burgers. Today all of my order was correct but it was all stone cold. Also I don’t know how they cook fries at this location but every single time the fries are completely limp and taste awful

Relatively good McDonald's. Staff friendly and helpful. Generally kept clean and tidy. Only issue seems to be soap dispensers in toilets often empty.

Beautiful seating area withe glass roof. Decent service but food quality was so, so. The double cheeseburger I had was not prepared very well as it had lots of catch-up spills in the wrap and was hard to ead without getting it all over my hands.

Avoid if possible. Always a mess , some staff very friendly unlike others 👎. But overall it’s a NO ❌ Branch for me. The most important has to be food hygiene standards for me. No excuse!

Driver not going to the correct address taking a while had to call where it's clear on the map where the house is. Drink was squashed and leaking

Dry and had to eat quickly as cooled quickly. Cheap at least. Won't be going back and can't see the appeal

They never turn on the heating so make sure you are wrapped warm if visiting when it's cold!

80 minutes from order to delivery, driver was " at store" for 40 minutes, didn't say anything when I tried to speak to them on the entry phone, store did not pick up phone when called to ask what was going on. Utter omnishambles of a service

Standard McDs, only did the drive through. They had sold out of the special beef burger, but they had the special chicken burger and the kids really enjoyed them. Chios hot and fresh, drinks could have been fizzer (maybe been poured for a while) Overall, pretty good

hello please may I have a refund I am very disappointed with my order I ordered a large mccrispy meal 1 small fries and 2 sweet and sour dips but to my surprise it was delivered to the wrong house the delivery drive came past my house so I went up and confronted him and asked if this is the right house he said yes and left so it waited for about 1 hour until I fell asleep can I have refund my order number was 6528 or the long one started with 2 I payed a total of 13.67 .

This was not delivered, it was ordered 2 hours ago and didn’t arrive. Tried to contact restaurant, no answer, tried Just Eat they were useless, the chat bot cut me off in the middle of the conversation. Last time I ever use Just Eat, too many problems!

If it’s going to take 30mins to find a driver, bag the food when he gets there…it’s McDonalds, they bag food on order… then it won’t be stone cold like it was tonight

Seems like a decent McDonald's but sometimes when you go in drive thru and delivery take precedence over resteraunt customers which is bad.

The restaurant is 5 mins from my location but due to my disability, I am required to get a delivery. The food arrived after an hour and was completely cold. Simply unacceptable. I would kindly request a refund.

Very disappointed yet again at ordering large meals and basically getting half filled portions of fries. STOP skimping on the fries. Also lettuce goes inside the burger, not on the outside on top of the the bun thrown in the box before the lid is closed.....

I didn’t get the order. Why is it saying my order was delivered! Again I repeat I never received my order, and have been waiting for my order for over 2 hours!!!

My food was never delivered. I ordered it at 7:55. The delivery time kept being pushed back and back. With no way to contact the driver or restaurant, i had no choice than to just wait for my order. Once it got to 10:30, then the order changed to “delivered”, even though it had not been delivered! The WORST service I have ever received from any restaurant!!

Had a McDelivery, half of my order missing. Tried to call the restaurant, no one answers! Left a message on their machine, no one has called me back. Talked to Uber who carried out the delivery service, they cannot do anything but refund the food. Won’t refund the delivery cost. Told me to reorder for the missing food and pay again for delivery! Jokers. Not a good system, obvious flaws if your order is wrong. Won’t get any food delivered again.

Dreadfully McDonald's, under staffed, badly managed and always get orders wrong. Specifically told onions in buger but added them anyway making our side ill.

Food was cold which would be expected as it was -1%C. However there was supposed to be 2 hash browns and I received only 1.

My order consisted of 2 x 20 nuggets, 10 dips, 2 x milkshakes. I was charged for the food, service fee, delivery fee and a tip was included. Only the nuggets delivered, no dips or milkshakes arrived. When asked for help I was promptly refunded for the missing items. So what was the service fee for, the correct order was not fulfilled, surely some of the service fee should be refunded. Not happy again. I want to support local restaurants but it has to be reciprocated.

Horrendous food! All completely cold, I’ve cream like slop! And I bet I won’t even get a full refund. Awful service and not the first time! Dunno why I bother ordering when it comes delivered so awful. Boxes all mashed up in the bag. Just awful!

This is possibly the worst McDonalds I’ve ever known! They say that a delivery order is done correctly will be the start of Ragnarök! We’ve placed multiple order and always never get the sauces and on multiple occasions. Meals in the past have had the main burger missing as well as any additional. Please can this be addressed and get sorted. It’s not difficult to follow an order I’m sure!!

I ordered just passed 1pm. I recieved your order confirmation at 1.08pm. and it was delivered passed 3pm. exactly is 3.05pm in your system. completely cold and not edible. McDonald s seals on bag shows it was handed to delivery at 13.40. I ask for a refund. it is not acceptable.

not even sure what to say here. saw spit or what could’ve been yellow snot in my 5 year olds order. very unprofessional and disgusting.

I used to drink here regularly and called it "The Youth Club" because being in my early twenties I felt too old. I visited because they had live music on I was really impressed. The beer was excellent and the music was very good. Two reasons firstly volume, you could enjoy the music without it being too loud, secondly the artist was given a great space to play. Really nice pub with a great atmosphere and nice beer, next to the park, and the Cathedral.

Ordered online and delivered for my boys. If I ever get something from the St Albans McDonalds, I always check in the bag before I leave because they very often get the order wrong. In this case the delivery from Uber Eats was great, the driver was very friendly. The bags are sealed, and on the outside is the list of things I ordered. Inside, however, it was not correct. Some small things like ketchup missing (I have some of that in the cupboard), but they also got the chicken nuggets wrong, and I got 6 instead of 9. Two stars because it's not Terrible and it's not Average (although it is for this franchise). I don't think I'll order delivery from them again - too risky that I'll have unhappy children. No way to complain to McD's, if it's delivered they say to go to Uber Eats, but they're not the ones who put the wrong stuff in the bags.

The food was handed to the driver 8:49am and delivered at 9:25am. The means it was in transit for 35 minutes and was cold!

You never get it right. It’s actually funny that your job is to read an order but it’s never correct. Wow

Really disappointed as they keep forgetting to put the dips in we order or forget part of the order.
