Papa John's Pizza in Huntingdonshire

They are disgrasful. i odered from the online severvice for delivery next thing i know im on the phone to a guy saying i cant refund you, im so sorry. he then went on to state no driver he went home even though. They then refused me a refund and keeped telling me to call back tommorrow even though i told them they are breaching the consumer act and not giving me a refund. this is dicusting service and they didnt have a manger on floor.

excellent pizza and staff is so humble

I tried Papa Johns in Birmingham and it was great! I thought I would try St Ives, I ordered half&half with stuffed crust. I'm not quite sure what happened but you had to play detective to find the cheese in the crust! Toppings, what toppings, didn't spot any ham on the ham & pineapple and only found mushrooms & olives and a couple of bits of meat, which broke in half when I cut it, crisps I did not want!! Overall, extremely bad pizza unless you want something very unappetising and cold

Placing order is very easy and pizza was ready to collect on time. Friendly and welcoming staff and pizza was very good.

Ordered a pizza at 20:50, waited 50 minutes to call them and ask where it was and they said they sent the driver 30 minutes ago, so i said okay well they haven't arrived to be told they sent the driver 1 minute ago to then say they will make it now?! Then we rang again at 22:15 and we still hadn't received the pizza. Called again and they said they sent the driver, when they obviously havent as we called again now at 22:45 and they never made it. And now they expect us to call their manager tomorrow to explain what happened. What the hell. AWFUL SERVICE

Management needs sacking. Don't order unless you're prepared to wait nearly 2 hours for poorly prepared food. Edit: it has now been over 2 hours and I'm still waiting.

I completely understand when it’s busy but just asking where my order is? The disrespect I got was disgusting. Pretending to be a manager and laughing on the phone cutting me off a number off times. What a shame from a great company with an amazing pizza that your hire disrespectful people with no customer service! Papa johns I would think twice about this store!

Almost 2 hours for food to be delivered, cold! They did not read the order as the pizza was incorrect, i called before delivery and was told they had left 10 mins ago but still took a further 20mins to get a call to say he couldnt find the house!

Last time I had PJ was 10 years ago in the USA and it was not bad. So ordered it our first day in St Ives and PJ has figured out how to make the worst pizza I have had in years. Worst than a store bought frozen pizza from Morrisons which was bad. Flavor is same as cardboard box the pizza arrives in. Dipping sauce is trash. Literally no flavor.

The delivery time kept getting changed to later and later

Single small pizza deal with drink took over an hour to leave the store, when it did finally arrive (in a random private car by someone with no uniform) the pizza was not warm and they forgot the drink. He was meant to return with the drink but never came back! I will never order here again!

Ordered a pizza, waited 35 mins in store for it to be cooked, but when I checked it when getting back to the car, it was lukewarm. I took it back inside, but the staff member just told me “no no it’s not cold” and didn’t offer to cook another. Pizza was cold after the 10 min drive home. Never had this experience with any other papa johns store.

Food was an hour late and come

When we ordered our food and the app said delivery would be 40-60 minutes. We received the text after 50 minutes saying our order was on its way so we waited well over the 60 minutes before chasing the order and when we phoned the restaurant we were told the driver hadn’t even left yet. We then waited another 40 minutes before the food arrived. The restaurant and driver were very dismissive and didn’t offer any apology or explanation. This is the second time our food has been really late.

Order expected between 7.20 and 7.40 but did not arrive until 8pm

I had to call to ask where my order was as was over 1½ hrs late. when the food arrived it was stone cold. and 1 pizza wasn't even cut.

food came late, driver was driving up and down my road for ages struggling to find the house that is not difficult to locate but also never called or messaged. So when i went to eat my food the food was cold

Waited 20 minutes and called them as I had no update on my order. Was told it would take a further 40 minutes and they would compensate me with an additional chicken wings side. The pizza arrived with barely any toppings and I never got my extra wings. Last time I'll ever spend money here. Avoid!

Great customer service - allowed us to get the best deal

I've ordered pupa johns a few times everytime it takes for ever to deliver even if I order earlier to hopefully get on time but seams to take longer and longer call store up and Seams to be mugged 10min 15mins eachtime

After waiting half an hour got a message to say it was delayed and had to wait another 40 minutes when it finally got here the pizza was perfect it was just how long it took especially as I ticked asap

ordered food at 20:10 arrived at 22:10 , over an hour wait, stated expected delivery was between 20:40 and 21:15. I checked again at 21:20 only to find a message stating my new order time was 21:50 now at this point food had already been made and was just sat in the car. After 21:50 I call the place and told it is nearly there. only at 22:10 did it arrive and when it did, the garlic pizza bread sticks were hard as if cooked for a while and the pizza was warm. poor and inaccurate times.

Food over half an hour late, came cold and missing things. Paid for a bbq drizzle and there was none and the sweetcorn on top was about 10 pieces over the whole pizza. Very disappointed as usually really good :(

Shocking I’m starving been waiting over an hour

Well after driving for 15 mins to pick up and 15 mins home we settle down to our takeaway treat as we recently welcomed a baby girl to the world. Well the treat ended in a disaster we ordered tandoori potato tots as well as pizza, my wife (a vegetarian for 16 years) took a bite out of one and was like this taste like chicken, looked to the other half of the 'tot' and it was indeed chicken, she instantly threw up, putting her off her food and frankly this store. Called up the store to a somewhat apology, offered some potato tots and a bottle of drink for the inconvenience. What a joke. If you fed a meat product taboo to someone's faith you'd be more apologetic than a bottle of drink. Don't visit this store who obviously have little to no customer service.

DO NOT ORDER, they sell chicken to vegetarians labelled up as tandoori potato tots. Avoid at all costs

It hasn't arrived at all, and now nearly two hours later. When we phone up half an hour ago was told 'driver is on his way'

DO NOT ORDER!! So was on me way home and figured I'd treat myself after seeing Taylor Swift last night. Little sister had a hankering for something starchy so ordered some potato tots as well as some other bits.....got home and took a bit and it defo weren't potato tots! Bloody chicken it was. What makes matters worse is my little sister is allergic to chicken, so had to quickly inform her that she couldn't have it!!! Phoned up to complain and was offered a measly bottle of drink, a very lacking apology and some potato tots to rectify it....was not pleased at all 😡

Do not eat here! They gave me chicken instead of potato and I’m allergic! When I called them they asked me to drop the food back off for a can of pop. Rubbish wasted 45 mins to collect my food order and wasn’t what I ordered. Wouldn’t go here again didn’t even get an apology.

When I requested a text on the progress of my order 20 minutes after it was set as "delivered" on just eat it was ignored so I had to call them up and request an update. Issues happen but you can send a "delayed" ping.

1hr 20 min and still not food. Called the store and said driver was on his way. Where’s he driving to? Driving to the farm to butcher the cow for the beef??

Ordered for 1730 and is showed up at 1815. The driver than took it to the wrong location even with the directions of House with white Dodge and Orange Fiat.

Very quick service. Stopping overnight and love how quick the place is.

Food has still not been delivered

They are extremely stingy with toppings. I ordered a large Greek pizza, it's supposed to have feta cheese, olives, yellow peppers, tomatoes, extra cheese and herbs. My pizza came with 5 pieces of green bell pepper (that's not even supposed to be on there?) And sliced black olives. No feta, no tomatoes, no herb, no yellow peppers, it was a plain pizza with olives basically. The shop is 12 minutes away from us. And yet the delivery driver takes over half an hour to drive here after it says "out for delivery". We tried this place twice, and both time the food arrived cold. It was affordable with £10 large pizzas, but we will not order from here again. My partner ordered a chicken and bacon pizza and there was no bacon on her pizza, and about 8 pieces of chicken... You get almost no toppings... basically plain pizzas with one or 2 toppings in very small amounts, it never looks how it does on the website and it never comes with all the toppings it says in the menu..

Took 40 mins from when notified it was on way to delivery. Came warm restaurant state only 6 mins from hotel so it shouldn’t be. Asked for vat receipt on delivery did not come with one had to chase this up. Won’t order from here again

This store is cost saving by putting around 50% of the ingredients on the pizza compared to other stores. Hardly any cheese in the stuffed crust, the crust is huge; the pizza toppings start at about 1/3 of the way down the pizza. The small circle that contains toppings uses the bare minimum. They should be investigated by HQ because they are absolutely not following the rules and ruining the brand.

The time got pushed back to a later one but the driver did arrive at the newer time. The food was not piping hot but tasted as expected. Unfortunately items were missing from the order.

ordered pizza last night for a treat, came super quicky (especially for a friday) !!!!generously topped and the sauce was delicious. the website offers some incredible deals which are great value for money!

Worst takeaway pizza I’ve ever had, actually scrap that. Probably one of the worst pizzas I’ve had. An oven pizza in the microwave would of probably been tastier. And to top it off, one of the chicken side pieces was unreadable. Absolutely gutted I’ve just wasted a Friday night’s takeaway on this, should have stayed with Dominoes or tried a local non franchise.

Missing dip for jalapeno bites! It says clearly on the menu that a dip is provided. I did not tick off the option to remove the dip, I ticked the option to order an extra dip. How hard is to read your own menu options?

Cold food when delivered. Our delivery got changed from 40 mins to 2 hours. When we rang asking why they couldn’t give us a logical reason. Will be sticking with dominoes from now on. Such a waste of £38

My order was wrong and didn’t come. Tried to rectify and they attempted to charge me £40 to change it. I spend over £200 a week here and I find it highly offensive.

Terrible. This is the third time my partner and I have ordered from this papa johns in two years and each time our order has been wrong or the service has been awful. This will be the last time. We waited nearly two hours for our food. I phoned them multiple times in those two hours to be told that the food was ready but awaiting a driver. By the time it finally arrived, the pizzas were stone cold. I tried to decline the food from the driver only to be told that it wasn’t his problem. After calling them and telling them this I demanded a refund since the food was near inedible. The manager agreed and promised that the full refund would be in my account by 3 business days. It’s now 2 weeks later and still nothing. We did receive a poxy voucher for a medium pizza which we won’t be using considering we never even ate the two large pizzas that we originally ordered! See the photo attached to see the cardboard like “food” that found its way straight to the bin. Save your disappointment and go to dominos or make your own from scratch… it will be far quicker and actually edible.

Tasty pizza. Obviously we didn’t expect Ritz level of pizza for such a price like other reviews seem to have done. Staff were friendly, place was clean, and we enjoyed the pizza. Wait time of 10 minutes was better than expected. No complaints.

Put for collection by mistake, when I went to cancel the order I was told I wouldn't get a refund because they had stated making it. Went to pick it up and the order had been cancelled. Now waiting 20 min whilst they make it. No contact number for just eats.

Hello, my food took over 2 hours to come when it originally said an half an hour wait. My food came and was cold! I am very disappointed and requested a refund, but only received half?? i wish to have a full refund for this order!
