Pizza was 10 minutes late (on top of the 30 mins estimated). Normally this wouldn't be a problem however me and my mum were so hungry to the point that she started screaming 'I'M HUNGRY!!!' and I resorted to shouting profanities at my friends over voice call. The food was pretty decent for the price though.

Speedy delivery, food was still warm and soft drink cold. Good driver, excellent job. Some of the food was good, some not really. Very few bits of meat on my cheesesteak pizza, with way too much onion instead. "Spicy" chicken wings were not spicy at all. Will order somewhere else next time.

Food and delivery time has always been perfect But its worth baring in mind that the website and app let's the company down as both have there own issues and you cannot contact store for help as they have no training to help you and there for cannot help you, this can be extremely frustrating

Got my Oder rong they give me bad food and ask me what can I do as if it's my fault had to get rid of it definitely wouldn't recommend it there .bad attitude and don't care once the payment in there hand's please don't try it ever.

The vegan pizza was okay, the garlic balls were okay, the wedges were okay, the cinnapie sticks were good too, but as for the cauliflower wings they tasted like literal vomit, no exaggeration.

Jesmin has been really friendly and helpful. She explained me how the offer to get 1 pizza for free worked. We had a chat meanwhile the pizza was cooking in the oven. Overall, a nice experience. It is nice to meet people who give you a smile for free and treat the customers in a friendly manner. Recommended.

Second time ordering and they update the status to delivered before it’s delivered. For example status updated to delivered at 17:10, it’s 17:26 and I don’t have the order yet. Nice businesses practice, fiddling with performance indicators. The pizza itself is not great either. Pretty bland. Left a note asking them not to walk on the grass and the use the footpath, because that’s what it’s for, they step off the footpath and go off on the grass. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Great customer service, good deals and very quick!

24-Mar-2023, 18:59:21 I ordered two large Pizzas for delivery (66184515 is the order number) , the delivery guys called after reaching to the apartment and made our delivery charges so useless that he gave us order to come down and collect the pizza from him. this was first ever terrible delivery guy we came across. We are regular customer and always get good service from delivery guys of Papa John's. This one was absolutely rude and terrible. How nobody should face this in future and meet some polite delivery guys.

Is Not hot with hair inside very bad we are sad

The most disgusting pizza I’ve ever had, like cardboard with cooked cheese, I will never use this Papa Johns Dunstable again. And the management don’t care about customers service at all. Shocking place

Finally had a chance to try the vegan supreme pizza from Papa John. It brought me back to when I use to eat it before I went vegan in 2013. The cheese tastes better than it looks. It really held up the next day when I ate it at room temperature. That’s actually my favorite way to have pizza. The combination of cold and stale does it for me. I also had vegan rolls with Marmite and Cheese. They have these odd after taste that I didn’t like. Outside of that, the texture and initial flavor were good.

Said it had arrived when it hadn't. Had to call the shop and the pizza eventually arrived 20 minutes later. Delivery driver called me and wanted to know why I'd ordered from his shop and not another. I explained to him that his shop was the one that came up automatically on my phone. He continued to be argumentative and almost annoyed that we'd ordered from his shop. Won't be ordering from them again, even if it comes up as the closest store.

DISGUSTING!!!! I would never ever in my life order from Papa John's 21 High Street Dunstable!!! Such disgusting experience!!! We received somebody elses order, by the time we realised the driver was gone. I called to let them know, so a driver came to collect the wrong order. I called again asking where is my order and was told they are making new pizza. After waiting for another 15-20 min the pizza came. I realised it was the old pizza because it was already stone cold, but when I opened the boxes one of the slices had already been bitten. Absolutely disgusting! They don't care about their customers and sent me pizza which somebody had already opened and eaten. That is absolutely disgusting any way, but during COVID they must take extra care. Obviously they don't care. Never again!!! It's not allowing me to leave 0 stars. They don't deserve 1 star!

Poor amount of toppings, pizzas absolutely tasteless, never again

The food wasn't bad , but it's far too expensive . I can buy far better for less at Fast and Fresh . I always buy two nine inch bacon and mushroom and one cheese, there is always plenty on the top . It costs me £ 15 at Fast and Fresh . But the same pizzas with less on top cost me £ 24-38 at Papa John's , I will never go there again .

THIS IS A VERY SAFE ENVIRONMENT, NO FIGHTS EVER BROKE OUT. IN FACT, LATHWELL THE IV HAS RATED THIS 11/10 (but he does the to every restaurant; he loves food). THOMPSON BECKFORD WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT HER FOOD THAT IT CAUSED HER TO BACKFLIP 50 FEET IN THE AIR ONTO THE ROOF. BEST PIZZA JOINT EVER!

If I could give the score a minus I would. Disgusting service. Waited over 40 minutes since they said the food had left the store when it is a 5 mins drive max. Food was freezing cold. Rang for a refund. No refund offered and ‘no manager on site’. Rang again next day to speak to the manager who again offered no refund but said I could ring again to get the same order for free. Went to ring for this order and as usual ‘no manager on site’. When he was finally on site he said I have already had this free order. I asked when they apparently sent this free meal and they said they do not have a system to show when they send re orders or free products. How do you know you even sent the meal then???? You didn’t send it. Still no refund. Shocking customer service. Staff are an insult to the company. Need retraining. Steal your money. Absolutely ridiculous. Just so rude, disgusting behaviour.

Why is it taking so long to get a pizza delivered on the Tuesday afternoon? I know you're not rammed with people. One pizza and side, one hour to get delivered what the hell?? Come on. Do better. I used to work at a pizza place it doesn't take *that* long to make a pizza and side.

Food is always tasty, however customer service is poor and staff are always getting my order wrong, whether I order online or in person.

I ordered "Two for Tuesday" of the spiciest hot pizzas, both with 2 chillies hot rating. Neither tasted particularly spicy hot to me. The sparse toppings didn't help. I also ordered Spicy hot chicken wings, which didn't taste spicy at all. Unlike Domino's, which provide a pot of spicy sauce too, Papa John's wings don't come with a spicy sauce dip or anything. I usually order Domino's but thought I'd give Papa John's a chance. Won't be going to them again. Their pizzas taste as ordinary as the cheaper pizza shops. Sainsbury's £2 frozen pizza tastes spicier, and is at least £15 cheaper.

I’m very pleased with the customer service I received from this branch. I have to say this is my favourite pizza take away in Dunstable. And the management will do there very best to make sure all customers are satisfied with there order. Thanks guy for the great food and service you’ve have provided.

After 90 mins of waiting - and having been assured on the phone at 60 mins that it would just be a couple of minutes - we cancelled the order. Despite accepting the cancellation, eventually the guy turned up at 100 mins (and we'd already started preparing a meal)! Now we're struggling to get our money back.

Delivered 90 mins late, after I cancelled the order as it was so late. Let's see if I ever get the promised refund. Take heed of the number of 1 star reviews below. I wish I had.

Food fas as expected as the same standards everywhere, but the delivery person was rude saying he wouldn't want to come to my area again after I had to spend time on the phone helping him find my house.

After a hour wait a vilesoggy pizza arrived at my door step only to make it into a bin, never again!

I would give this shop 5* but I ate from here for the first time during the day a few weeks ago and the food was not the same as in the evening. The wedges were undercooked and the pizza looked a mess compared to usual. Evenings - More of a wait during busy times such as Fridays and Saturdays but generally great pizza and the staff are awesome with a great sense of humour and spoil us..

Ordered food online and this took an hour to arrive, when we went to eat the food it was cold,we phoned up the branch and was answered by quite a rude individual, who would not believe that the food was cold as he apparently made it himself 20 mins earlier, it was more like 40 mins by the looks of it, we asked to speak to a manger but was informed that no manager was on site, we asked about having the order resent and was told that it would be another hour!!, not what you would expect when making a complaint, (this is a tactic used to put the customer off from wanting the new food). we did eventually get our new order and it was as it should be, but after the experience of this i will not be using this Branch again, it seems they all need a refresher course in customer service, and not to try and talk over you when trying to talk to them,

Thought I’d not make a fuss about the delivery time but going through the reviews a lot of people had the same issue. Took about an hour 10 mins to deliver. I ordered 18 pizzas a mix of Mexican chicken, bbq chicken and hot pepper passion. For sides we went for garlic cheese sticks and hot buffalo wings. I was happy with the sides but pizzas were alright. If I had to choose between Domino’s or Papa John’s I would definitely choose dominos.

Rubbish service. Ordered pizza 2 times and first time was 1h and 30 min late, second time 45 minutes. There's never a manager to talk to. Know one knows anything. Last time someone just hang up on me. Been offered next time a discount but they seem to forget every time. Rubbish, never going to order from there again.

They mess my order.. then offer me free pizza on next order but every time I called and mention about that suddenly answer I get manager not in shop today.. one of there staff told me don’t care if I don’t order from them in future .. really bad.. Already mentioned to papa jones franchise manager and he will call me on Friday hope please learn from mistake..

Use this for takeaway now and again. Fast delivery and pizza always good. Often have two for one deals which represent good value

Just had my first and last papa johns pizza Waited an hour to get a medium deep crust hawaiin and bbq wings cost ofnearly 16 pounds....while the wings were eatable the pizza was overcooked bordering on burnt and genuinely very dry with hardly any cheese. the driver got the best deal a 2 quid tip So will not order here again

I have ordered from here on many occasions and without fail the food has always been delivered correctly, good quality, fast and hot. I recently went to the branch to collect and I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, organisation and customer service by the staff. Everyone currently working at this branch should be proud of the exceptional service they have provided. Especially when you compare it to other PJ branches like the pathetic Leagrave (Luton) branch that should be closed down!

They deliver quickly to me usually but seem to forget to bring certain items. The delivery drivers tend to be rude and the last one they sent me literally threw the pizza at me and walked away without saying a word. Ordered a pizza from the again a couple of days ago and they forgot an item and sent me a terribly made pizza that was horribly over topped and so covered in chilli flakes that it was inedible. Order from another Papa Johns if you can.

Forgot my dip once but the person I spoke to apologised and sent me one straight away which I can't fault as sometimes it happens. Generally has been fine but cannot forgive how rude the person on the phone was when I ordered online recently and changed a topping from double to single. Got a phone call saying I can't do that because 'thats not how they do things' at the store. Told him I have done that plenty of times and explained how it works but he said it wasn't right and he was going to show me how they get the online orders. He then hung up after I said I just want a single topping. He was quite aggressive. Was quite scared he might show up on my doorstep but luckily didn't.

So I ordered online as I'd been sent a voucher for £10 off £25. However an hour later and still no delivery. I decided to ring and check they had received my order. As I rang the delivery driver arrived but there was no apology for the wait from either the delivery guy or person on the phone. The pizza and desert were lovely, but the wedges were a bit raw.it was a good deal but wedges and customer service needs improving.

Staff can't get orders right and then accuse you of lying when you inform them. This Papa johns is the worst one Ive been too and does not follow the usual high standards of the chain. Plenty of other pizza chains around this area, would suggest to use one of them

The dearest cheese on toast ever

I used to order every week from here but then service started going down hill. The delivery guy used to forget the sauces, and when we told him he would say ok I'll bring them but he never did. The store also stopped giving me receipts for the orders, a big problem for me as I used to claim my lunches back. The response from the store is the same 'its ok ill bring it now' and they never do. Also tried to use my rewards for a free pizza, papa johns canceled my order and then the points expired. The head offices response was 'sorry for the inconvenience caused'. Back to dominoes for me i guess.

Hot Pepper Passion pizza. To die for. Very quick, efficient delivery, quoted 30-35 minutes, actually 25. One regret, I didn't stay in the area on a Tuesday, I could have got 2 for the price of 1. If only there was a Papa John's somewhere, anywhere, near to where I live..................
