Terrible service! Pizza arrived 2.5 hours after order was placed! We had gone to bed … so fed up with waiting. Very unhelpful staff all they wanted to do was cancel the order after we had paid for it! When it did arrive at 11.35 the delivery guy still had 6 pizzas to deliver!

Where’s the toppings ? Honestly I would not bother .

The food is fresh and keeps well for a very long time, would recommend very delicious😋 😋 😋

Having had a terrible experience from this branch in the past, we were hesitant to order again, but nonetheless decided to give them another go. We were pleasantly surprised when our food arrived on time, hot and delicious ... will be ordering from here again in the hope the good food and service continues.

THIS STORE IS AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER. We waited in excess of 2 HOURS on Saturday night for two stone cold and overcooked (recooked because they were so delayed?) pizzas because the franchise owner refuses to hire more than 4 delivery drivers for the busiest shift of the week! To top it off, you sent the wrong dip with the potato tots - how can you continuously fail to get simple instructions correct? We have complained to Head Office about that shambles that the Berkhamsted store has become, franchise owner clearly does not know the first thing about running a business and has bitten off way more than they can chew. NEVER AGAIN.

The worst pizza store I have EVER encountered , they never answer the phone and last time I ordered from here the pizza just didn’t turn up, had to go down there myself to them telling me it’s been cancelled and I have to wait 5 days for my money back . Decided to try again this time there was HUMAM HAIR in it and cold . For the second time I had to take a trip there ,without surprise it was the same unhelpful rude chap that messed up the first order, one of his colleges stepped in and made me a new one as he was still being very difficult . AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Never order from here. I ordered a pizza, an hour and a half later there is no sign of it. I tried to call, but got no answer on the first 10 attempts. Finally get through to someone and get told the order will be an hour further. I just cancelled the order outright. Then get told up to 5 days for a refund. Disgusting customer service.

Shocking, ordered at 6pm, over an hr after, I got a phone call to say it be another 1.5 hrs -2 hrs. What the actual, they hung up the phone on me, i have no refund, no pizza and a hungry house! 🤬😤😡

Got a takeaway from here, arrived finally after waiting almost 2 hours to which ALL the food was cold and disgusting! Phoned them, they have apparently issued a refund but still waiting for the refund. Never answer the phone when trying to call. Contacted Customer service to which they haven’t bothered to reply! Avoid! Dominoes is only up the road from these guys! Use them

Generally like the pizzas and the offers help massively with the value for money. They are a friendly team and delivery is good too. Probably the best all round option for pizza in Berkhamsted. Just hope that they are not involved with ripping off The Eat In to Help Out scheme...

Ordered two pizzas and garlic bread which turned up late and very cold! Attempted to call the store on a number of occasions but nobody would pick up. Have made a complaint but have so far had no response.

Appalling delivery times.. avoid at all cost if you want your pizza within 1-2 hours of order time.

Hesitated to order due to the negative reviews but pizza arrived on time, got everything I ordered and it was all nice and fresh. No complaints from me!

AVOID THIS STORE Multiple times we have given this store a chance and everytime they mess it up, prepare for your order to be 30-40 minutes late, cold and anyone who answers the phone at the store to not care at all. It's unbelievable that this store is even open.

Ordered 2 pizzas and garlic bread for delivery, the pizzas showed up but the garlic bread didn't. The delivery guy told me to call the store and I did, they said they would contact the driver and see what's going on. I got no response for a while to I called back and heard the same thing telling me they'd call back in 2 mins.. it's been over an hour now. Not happy at all.

Food is fabulous as far as I'm concerned. Service is very good indeed. I personally love the atmosphere in here because the staff are so friendly and helpful.

The Berkhampstead location is very inconsistent. We usually receive 2 good orders, they will mess up big! Tonight they gave us 1 wrong side order and the topping on one of the pizzas had the wrong toppings. So we will not order from them for 3 or 4 months and then try them again at a later date. I guess it is hard to get good help.

Ordered online. One and a half hours later still showing awaiting assembly. Tried phoning - engaged continuously for another 30 minutes. Drove down to store to find out what was going on. Met by grinning chap who couldn't find our order by name or phone number despite taking another 5 minutes looking. Eventually found it and grinning told us it had just gone into the oven. Expressed disappointment at length of time taken to this point and fact unable. To get through on phone - was told phone was off the hook all evening. This seemed to give cause for further grinning. Worst pizza ordering experience ever. Worst customer service ever. Pizza was nice eventually to be fair.

Delivery was 45mins over the time, pizza was cold and chewy second time this happened out of the three times ordered quite disappointed.

Very standard quality, to be honest, usually end up with a case of dodgy tummy for 24hrs after most fast foods, this is no different really, bog standard cheap ingredients. The body reacts as such. 😬👍

We made a large order to cater for our evening guests at our wedding. The staff from Papa Johns Berkhamsted were awesome, the order of 50 pizzas arrived bang on time, it was hot, the delivery was quick and fuss-free. The store manager even let us order a few weeks in advance so we didn't have to worry about it on the day. Thanks again!

Asked for no olives and that was completely ignored!! Pizza was extremely bland and totally lacking filling. The worst pizza I’ve had in a very long time. Would have been better with a frozen supermarket pizza.

The dough of their pizzas is truly delicious. They are also very fast, reliable, and have some really good deals.

Never answer the phone. Currently waiting 2 hours for 1 pizza which is FOC from a previous cold and exceptionally late pizza. We should have known better than to try them again. Don't even answer the phone. Try walking towards that item thats making the ringing noise and pick it up and say hello. You might get more custom

Bad Customer service Lady with blonde hair was rude she coughed over her hand then didn’t wash her hands Then when she see our order she was overhead saying how Pathetic it was that we ordered some slices with no cheese for our son I’m sorry but we are paying customers we was sitting in there waiting for our food while she was being rude about our order

Just had the best customer service after I ordered a pizza and then ended up being unable to collect it until after closing time - the person at the store went above and beyond and stayed behind half an hour after closing time waiting for me to arrive. I'd called to say he should just leave it on the shop doorstep but he said he didn't want to leave it in the cold so he'd be happy to wait behind. Totally unexpected and very kind - thank you.

Disgusting customer service from papa johns regarding an order I placed a month ago. Order was placed and paid for online but due to an apparent issue with their WiFi they never received the order. I am still waiting to be refunded for this despite several phone calls to the store and being told the refund was being processed! Will never be ordering from papa johns again!

Arrived freezing cold once again!!! If I wanted a frozen pizza I would of got one out of the freezer! I tried to call to complain but nobody answering the phone suprise suprise! Will never be ordering from you again! Also driver called to say he was from domino's pizza 🤔

It was just rubbish. The worst Papa John's pizzas I've had. Very bready, looked grey and unappetising and wasn't very warm at all. Fortunately don't live in the area, but definitely would not order from here again.

I was very disappointed with my pizza, I asked for no onions but they put them on my pizza anyways. My pizza was late by an hour. We called and they was very unhelpful and hung up on us. Very rude!

I understand if they are busy and things take a bit longer, but this store is consistently terrible no matter what time you order. The last 2 orders I have made have taken over an hour and arrived cold and with the wrong food. I have finally learned my lesson and won't be ordering again!

The pizzas are great but the seating options when I last checked were minimal. We now just grab the pizza to go. The place looks relitavly clean. Sometimes it takes a little while to explain that I want a garden party pizza with meat added on. But the pizza does taste better than most fast food options.

Ordered a home delivery at 8 pm, nothing arrived 55 minutes later, partner rang, they said order had been delivered, It Had Not,they insisted it was on its way then further call that it had been delivered, which it had not, it was delivered next door, numbers clear on the door, but neighbours accepted the free meal, but before we knew this staff got quite abusive verbally to my wife, accusing us of lying, for £31 would anyone have done that, I rang back 20 minutes later as order had not arrived, I got totally different reaction they still insisted it was delivered, I said it had not and they had 2 options, refund us immediately or get order 2 hours late to us within 30 minutes, it arrived in 25 minutes, I have no complaints about the delivery guy, papa Johns should give better directions rather than them using their own app to find places, he was very apologetic as he had to use app on his phone, annoyed by neighbours as well as they should have rejected delivery, but that is our problem , send them a bill for their free meal, we did apologise to the store even though they delivered to incorrect place

Ordered some pizza so i could do some magic and make people happy and then i never CAME! I'd rather doodoo in my own mouth than attempt to order from here again, spoke to the manager that was so called "DJ" which is probs bollocks but he wasn't half a handful he couldn't even listen to a sentence without going "WOTTTT" or interrupting me.
