Has not arrived and restaurant not answering phone

Useless, accepted our order, didn't deliver anything, didn't pick up the phone and then cancelled our order. Avoid.

They arbitrary change the queue based on customer age. I do not like we waited more than an hour for 10 small pizzas while other customers arrive make an order and get the pizza early

Went back yesterday. Needed 12 pizzas this time. 2 managers were great. Made sure I got the best deal and enjoyed a good chat with them A class customer service. I encourage anyone to engage with them. Great pizza as well!

Do not bother wasting your money! Cold and disgusting pizza delivery after 1 hour wait, certainly won't ever be used again.

Employees are so nice and friendly, the pizza is my favourite! Never too greasy, always perfect!

Food was very late, cold and when I called to ask what was going on I got told to just call customer service and then they hung up on me!!! Such poor service!

absolutely lovely food. BBQ chicken wings hot and juicy BBQ chicken pizza soft and fresh garlic strips the best ever 💕. 2nd order and very impressed still. 1 niggle delivered the wrong dips but it was nicer than the ones I ordered 😂

Ordered 2 large pizzas from Papa John’s in Berkhamsted to be delivered on Eurovision evening. Delivery was very fast BUT both pizzas were awful. DRY and STALE with very few toppings. Tasteless. What a waste of money. Supermarket pizza would have been much better and cheaper. BINNED. First time and last time. Never again. Shame as its our local pizza place.

Usually very good with time but I ordered with plenty of notice (1hr and half notice) for a specific time for a birthday party and still turned up 45 mins late l. Tried calling restaurant numerous times to check what was happening but none answered the phone

we gave them 2 hours notice for when we wanted it because we knew it was it would be busy!! Still arrived 1 hour late and cold!

The pizza was amazing, cooked fresh and tasted great. Service was smooth and staff was very helpful.

Terrible service! Pizza arrived 2.5 hours after order was placed! We had gone to bed … so fed up with waiting. Very unhelpful staff all they wanted to do was cancel the order after we had paid for it! When it did arrive at 11.35 the delivery guy still had 6 pizzas to deliver!

Again pizza did not turn up after waiting 2 hours, lots of other pizza places in Berko, I would suggest one of those over this place

I ordered hot buffalo wings as a side with some garlic and herb dip, but they sadly forgot the dip. Everything else was still tasty and up to date though!

Love Papa Johns pizzas but delivery by Just Eat driver completely ruined my pizza. Pizza looked like mush in the box & could only eat a quarter of it. Wish I’d ordered through Papa Johns website & not Just Eat. Made a complaint but refund refused. Totally unsatisfactory & one very unhappy Just Eat customer.

Avoid. Order was delayed and text a few text from just eat. Called the restaurant to be told it actually on way and immediately app changed yet still took 40 min to deliver. Having had a terrible experience from this branch in the past, we were hesitant to order again, but nonetheless decided to give them another go. We were pleasantly surprised when our food arrived on time, hot and delicious ... will be ordering from here again in the hope the good food and service continues.

The pizza was pretty cold, my order had a free potato thingy (they sent two) after tasting it I can see why they’re giving it away. I won’t be ordering again from this store as it was a poor experience.

THIS STORE IS AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER. We waited in excess of 2 HOURS on Saturday night for two stone cold and overcooked (recooked because they were so delayed?) pizzas because the franchise owner refuses to hire more than 4 delivery drivers for the busiest shift of the week! To top it off, you sent the wrong dip with the potato tots - how can you continuously fail to get simple instructions correct? We have complained to Head Office about that shambles that the Berkhamsted store has become, franchise owner clearly does not know the first thing about running a business and has bitten off way more than they can chew. NEVER AGAIN.

The worst pizza store I have EVER encountered , they never answer the phone and last time I ordered from here the pizza just didn’t turn up, had to go down there myself to them telling me it’s been cancelled and I have to wait 5 days for my money back . Decided to try again this time there was HUMAM HAIR in it and cold . For the second time I had to take a trip there ,without surprise it was the same unhelpful rude chap that messed up the first order, one of his colleges stepped in and made me a new one as he was still being very difficult . Never order from here. I ordered a pizza, an hour and a half later there is no sign of it. I tried to call, but got no answer on the first 10 attempts. Finally get through to someone and get told the order will be an hour further. I just cancelled the order outright. Then get told up to 5 days for a refund. Disgusting customer service.

Was supposed to be 30 -40 mins but came nearly 2 hours after order. Food was cold so it was probably sitting in the drivers car for an hour or so. 2 items were missed off and the store still haven’t responded to my messages. Got a takeaway from here, arrived finally after waiting almost 2 hours to which ALL the food was cold and disgusting! Phoned them, they have apparently issued a refund but still waiting for the refund. Never answer the phone when trying to call. Contacted Customer service to which they haven’t bothered to reply! Avoid! Dominoes is only up the road from these guys! Use them

Shocking, ordered at 6pm, over an hr after, I got a phone call to say it be another 1.5 hrs -2 hrs. What the actual, they hung up the phone on me, i have no refund, no pizza and a hungry house! 🤬😤😡

Generally like the pizzas and the offers help massively with the value for money. They are a friendly team and delivery is good too. Probably the best all round option for pizza in Berkhamsted. Just hope that they are not involved with ripping off The Eat In to Help Out scheme...

Absolutely delicious again! Food a tiny bit late, but I called and they were lovely and explained it was on its way. Pizzas turned up 2 minutes later and they were perfect, not a slice left!

Was left outside in rain! Ring to ask where it was to be told just delivered! Shop then called back to say the driver had rung the doorbell on the gate and then left outside as no answer! Could have tried to come in the gate to the front door! Or call! Freezing cold and had to be reheated

AVOID THIS STORE Multiple times we have given this store a chance and everytime they mess it up, prepare for your order to be 30-40 minutes late, cold and anyone who answers the phone at the store to not care at all. It's unbelievable that this store is even open.

Food quality is usually great. However, delivery time is recently way later than suggested upon order. Another very annoying think is that in the previous 5 orders Papa John’s didn’t deliver the correct sauces

Driver couldn't find the road, despite the name being self explanatory. Made me wait for them in the rain, then also got me to take my delivery from the boot of the car.they didn't get out. Kinda defeats the point of ordering in. Just basic lazy and poor service. Wouldn't have minded the fact it was late, but the poor service just doesn't get a pass.

Ordered 2 pizzas and garlic bread for delivery, the pizzas showed up but the garlic bread didn't. The delivery guy told me to call the store and I did, they said they would contact the driver and see what's going on. I got no response for a while to I called back and heard the same thing telling me they'd call back in 2 mins.. it's been over an hour now. Not happy at all.

Ordered at 10:20pm and it arrived at 11:45pm after the shop had closed and the food was stone cold. Why accept the order of you can’t deliver it within the 45 mins specified? I would have rather had it cancelled than ordered this late and cold.

I had to phone after an hour, no apologies from the store. Just told it'll be on its way soon. My kids were now meant to be in bed so were tired and hungry. Poor service! I would comment on on the food but its still not arrived

Food is fabulous as far as I'm concerned. Service is very good indeed. I personally love the atmosphere in here because the staff are so friendly and helpful.
