just over half hour late and the chicken poppers were barely cooked inside, so went in the bin ! I have no issues with delayed deliveries and Dartford is notorious for traffic but my order was initially shown as delivered and was only then extended after I messaged the restaurant. I suspect the order was then rushed through, hence the half cooked chicken. Overall, not good.

A bunch of idiots work here. The driver was an hour late and I hear him knock on next door's door (made their dog bark) then he ran away and drove off in his car so of course my neighbours shut their door thinking it was a mistake. When I looked out my window, I see him pull back up and get my pizza out, when I opened my door to tell him he knocked on the wrong door, he started telling me I should've opened the door when he knocked because he had to move his car to let people past. I told him he knocked on 113 next door, Im 111, he said no I knocked on your door, I replied no you knocked next door because their dog barked and I dont have a dog. He then gave me attitude and left. So when I called the shop to complain about this driver, as soon as I asked for the manager they say "hello? Hello?" Down the phone as if they cant hear me. Then I call again, ask for the manager, and the guy says 'madam he is not here but let me call the driver because he has gone with your order". I said I dont need the driver because I have my order, I want the manager, this guy says "no let me call the driver to find out where he is". I hung up. Bunch of absolute morons who cant read door numbers or listen to clear instructions. Avoid!

The person taking service is utter rude. Won’t come here next time. Bye bye.

Recent orders are getting significantly delayed. Most of the time over 1and half hours for delivery. It is a surprise they have no compensation process for delay orders. Funny thing is they charge £2.50 per delivery too.

All the staffs are very polite, friendly and helpful. All the pizzas are freshly prepared and very very tasty.

App didn’t update to let us know the delivery was on the way so delivery driver was waiting for us, had a very rude attitude for the lack of communication that was out of our control.

15 minutes late (1655-1715 eta) arrived 1732. Wasn't hot, and I've stuck it in the oven to heat up !

Did not receive bbq drizzle on my PIZZA

I’ve been ordering from papa johns for years now and since I moved 7mins away from my previous address I’ve found the service and attitude of male staff on the phone terrible. On this occasion I ordered a pizza over an hour ago and it hadn’t arrived. When I called up to find out what happened the guy on the phone said the driver was just leaving and rudely added if ‘I look out of the window I can see that there is a lot of traffic’. I said but I ordered over an hour ago and he said just look out of the window. He was so rude it’s put me completely off ordering again. Their pizzas are not even all that.

My drink within my food had burst and made all the contents of the bag wet. This had ruined to food and made it inedible to eat

Bog standard, bit pricey but hey ho.

Not much cheese on the pizza itself at all but it was ok, nice base. Garlic cheese sticks delicious and tots very nice .

Pizza barely had any toppings, very miserly and sparse, even though we paid for extra toppings - for £30+ price, we paid for basically cheese and bread. Delivery was fast but what's the point if the quality is poor.

Disgusting service! Took 2 hours to say it turned up and didn't even turn up, when I asked for a refund the manager called me a liar and said boys are coming too my house! When I confronted him he said what recording do you have of me saying that! I waited at my door for no one to turn up, when I asked for a refund they said speak to head office and hung up on me. I have never been spoken too so horribly.

Placed an order in store, the lady advised me of special offers and took my order. I waited in the car, when my order was ready the lady brought it to the door which was nice. Pizza was good same as ones my usual branch. Overall great service and Pizza.

Easy to order always lots of offers if you're not sure what's the best offer for what you want they give you the cheapest deal for what you've ordered. They're fast, tasty and always delivered piping hot.

Rang ahead to check they could deliver to a local hotel and would not forget dips. Wrong dips delivered. Garlic bread tasted of cheap, greasy margarine, no taste of garlic. Pizza, smeared in watery, vinegary something. Completely inedible. On deliver had a driver who couldn't begin to pronunce a very simple name. Rang and they lied they had delivered the correct food and they would come back. Come back, only we were downstairs we would never have recieved food, not going back downstairs to wait for 'whenever ' they can to get back to bring it back. Please avoid.

I ordered an XXL Chicken Club. Well the chicken must have escaped the kitchen because we barely had any. All you could taste was Cheese and Tomato Sauce. Extremely disappointed. Delivery as per the app, driver polite, but when you pay £25 you expect to taste what you ordered! Short changed in the Chicken department 🙄

I can't say how my last meal was because I never received it. No answer from Papa john's when I called multiple times. Apparently it was delivered. To where? Tracker said it was still out with the driver at 1.10 and then changed to delivered at 00.11... Yeah okay then.

Got a pizza that was literally inedible, it was that burnt. Head office gave me a code for free Pizza. Code did not work. Rang to cancel and the response from staff was not good. Really shouldn't have given them a second chance. Now waiting to see if the refund comes through. Was a really good food outlet. No idea what happened.

A bit more expensive than some but will always go back for a reliable good quality pizza. Excellent!

Very dissapointed. Had the grandchildren Friday and they fancied Pizza so we ordered from papa johns. I have to say they used to be good when the perfect pizza franchise seemed to disappear and a lot of those shops became papa johns. Well both pizzas tasted cheap and I'm pretty sure that the oven is to hot as both bases were on the cusp of being burnt. Not often we have pizza take away and this has strengthened the reason why. Sorry. But Domino's dough at least has a nice flavour as do the ingredients.

I rarely order from this Papa John's, terrible attitude from some staff. Items frequently missing from orders leaving one checking on the doorstep. On one occasion they were almost an hour late with an order, gave a code for next order which was not honoured and trying to redeem orders leaving staff insisting one has to collect rather than they deliver. Have ordered my last pizza from here, truly not worth the hassle.

First time ordering from Papa John's via Just Eat. Arrived early, enjoyed the pizza and lovely friendly delivery man. Really pleased with vegan range too.

Just moved in this area and I only placed 2 orders from this place. 1st one was late but i didn't mind. Today, I call the restaurant after over 2 hours, the guy sais I didn't place any order, despite having the confirmation email, the tracker saying they have received it and money taken from my account. He's like, there's nothing he can do, I have to place the order again. I can't do the thing where I wait another 2 hours for him to pretend play making a pizza.

Moved to Dartford few months ago and ordered with them few times. Always found them courteous, polite and professional. Great team of people and pizzas you will love.

The pizzas here are always really good. Really quick delivery, received my order within 30mins. Driver was really friendly. They forgot my drink and was very apologetic, driver rushed back to the shop to retrieve it. Person on the phone was also vey helpful and kind. They left out olives on my pizza by mistake (I left a review on Papa Johns as requested in the email after ordering that mentioned this, I didn't call the shop directly as I know mistakes happen and I did not tend to complain). But they have called me back to offer a free side on my next order after seeing the review, which is very nice of them. I wasn't making a complaint, and it certainly wouldn't have put me off ordering again. But the level of customer service is exceptional. Thank you Papa Johns Dartford.

My food has not arrived and it’s telling me to enjoy it

The service of extremely slow, waited nearly 1.30 hour for pizza. Called after 45 mins and was told pizza would be another 15 mins. Called again after 1 hour and 15 mins and was told pizza was on its way. Waited another 10 mins for it. If you are hungry don't oder from there!

Our regular favourite the Mexican with Extra toppings is always good although on this occasion was only just warm. Sure it’s a glitch but keep an eye on this guys at the restaurant and don’t let your normally perfect score slip! 😎

Cheesy Jalapeño bites tasted like they were reheated leftovers Pizza couldn’t have been any simpler, a double pepperoni; but it seemed to have bypassed the tomato base station altogether as it was so dry and whoever’s job it was to cut it into slices must have been half asleep because they needed to push down harder..... pizza ended up torn off in pieces! Easily the worst ever experience off a Papa John’s EVER!!! Can’t believe I had to give it at least one star just to be able to leave this comment.......

Requested for 18:15 not 18:25 also cold when it did arrive disappointing considering the price £23 for a large pizza all in . Would expect on time and hot !!!

I wasnt very happy with this order. I received my food cold because it wasn’t wrapped and carried in a thermal bag. The person who ringed in our door was a woman, but food was delivered by a man to our door. Also that woman, she rang first time, I’ve opened the door, and because our door is opening by pulling it, not pushing, probably she locked it again. And when she rang second time she asked me very rude” ARE YOU GONNA LET ME IN OR HOW? “ Well, lady, first learn to open a door, and if you don’t succeed don’t blame me. In terms of food, it was pretty good. P.S: food wasn’t tracked, I didn’t received a notification that delivery driver started his route.

Made a mistake on my order, completely my fault. However, when I explained to the manager they sent me the pizza free of charge with no issues. Great customer service will definitely recommend and will use again. This was the Dartford branch.

The pizza was not cooked properly. The chicken wings extremely salty and I could not eat them.. The Chicken Club pizza had 6 small pieces of chicken and the rest of the pizza was only onions and tomatoes... I waited for more than 1h 30min for the delivery despite that the restaurant is 4min drive away.. Would not recommend and definitely won't buy again... Dissatisfing and disappointing!!!!!!

Did not enjoy the taste of the pizza much. But it is just a personal opinion. Prefer Dominos. Delivery guy was great! Good customer service on his side. Early delivery as well.

If i could give no stars i would!!!! Never have i ever had such bad customer service over the phone. I've worked in customer services in the past and you should never speak to a customer like that. In the nicest way possible all you have to do is take my order.... Never going back to this branch again
