Papa John's in Charnwood

Ordered 2 XXL pizzas from the Loughborough branch which came raw. We called the branch and spoke to the manager (wouldn’t give his name) who was very rude and accused us of lying! He was very rude on the call and would not take any liability. Offered to show images and they could come and pick the pizzas up! Would never order from this branch again

On the 13/4/23 at 10pm. About 20 min later, we received a notification that our order was delivered when it was not. My wife called the Loughborough branch to be told it was a system error an the pizza will be delivered in 5 minutes. I then called at 22.48 to be told that I was wrong and the pizza has just left the store now. When I said I am not happy and want a refund the person at the branch slammed the phone down on me. And did so again at 22.51/22.54 & 22.57. The pizza arrived at 11pm, stone cold. I can't believe the appalling behaviour of the staff who are rude, aggressive and give false lies to their customers.

Very late, very cold pizza. Called store after cold pizza arrived and was told that the owner would ring next day to discuss a refund, they never did. Rang them myself to try to resolve but they hung up on me. £26 paid for one medium sized pizza. Feel like I’ve been completely robbed! If you love papa John's and thinking of going to the Loughborough branch, I would strongly recommend to avoid this branch. Staff are terribly rude with poor English, poor customer service and a poor attitude in general. Pizza will not be to the usual papa John standard. I would go anywhere but here

DO NOT USE Fraudsters. You money will repeatedly leave your account. Went in there and showed them proof of duplicate amounts leaving after they’d said a card had been declined. Same amount leaving from 2 different accounts. I asked how this was possible, if you say the card was declined. Owner was on the phone but refused to talk and instructed the staff to call the police. Definitely avoid without question. Reviews of 3 stars do no justice to the proprietor Mr Singh and his staff. Definitely 0 stars if it was possible Still no refund and out of pocket by £42. Papa johns your franchisee is a joke

ordered two vegan pizzas and they were both really bad, doughy, there was no sauce, no toppings - just a waste of money

Absolutely Appalling. We found hair on 2/3 pizzas. And when we called to inform them of this, the person on the phone had a very rude tone, and told us he had to send a supervisor to CHECK. In a national lockdown. We had pictures which we could have sent but I did not have the chance to tell him this, because he HUNG UP ON ME. I wasn't even informed of the Papa John's Policy on this, and was not able to ask because I was hung up on. The staff member who arrived at our house informed us the person we spoke to was the manager. We were told we couldn't get replacement pizzas because the pizzas were partially eaten. (apparently they expected us to check their pizzas before we ate it) The Customer service was atrocious. Will not be ordering from here again. Judging by the other reviews, this is a common occurrence with this branch of Papa John's. Completely unprofessional behaviour and quite frankly ruined our night. We were left with contaminated pizza, which we had to throw away, which as students, was very irritating. You would think in a pandemic, hygiene would be of top priority for a restaurant chain, but such courtesy was clearly not shown with our order. Be warned.

If you prefer this garbage over Dominoes then you need to have a look at yourself. You’d be better off getting a cheap pizza from Tesco, that’s the level of quality of Papa Johns, diabolical

During coronavirus lockdown it has been easy and convenient to order a pizza to solve an evenings dinner and I have been ordering from Dominos and Papa Johns. What prompted me to post this review was the terrible service I received one Saturday when I had received an order. The pizza that was delivered was barely warm and it was immediately apparent that to eat it it would have to be re-heated. I know this can be done not in the microwave but in a frying pan to get best results but I said no, why should I? So I called the branch and spoke to the manager and complained that the pizza I received was bearly warm and would have to be reheated and he was completely dismissive. They must get a certain amount of people calling in with false complaints trying to get their pizza for free but this was a genuine complaint. Anyway, he would not budge at all so I said that I would take it up with head office. I sent an email to head office and also put a complaint on twitter and got a reply but was told to just fill in their online feedback form. I've heard nothing since. So I can only conclude that if you do have a genuine complaint when ordering from Papa Johns that it will just go into the ether and not acted upon meaning you will not get a refund. If lockdown had not been in force then I would have driven the cold pizza down to the store and shoved it under the managers nose. I will not be ordering from this store again in the future just due to the managers attitude and complete disregard for customer service.

Papa John's have really stepped up their game when it comes to vegan food.amazing options, amazing pizzas, and the staff are friendly a d helpful.
