Papa Dutch 'The Little Dutch Café' in Trafford

What a gem! My son and his girlfriend have been here before as they live locally, so they took e last weekend. What a gorgeous little place it's very small, cosy and perfect!! We had hot caramel waffles and a coffee... Gorgeous! Highly recommend a visit

Really cute and quaint place, in a quiter corner of Altrincham, it's a family owned business and they're so so lovely, much better value for mini Dutch pancakes vs the Christmas markets. Highly recommend 🩷

This place is amazing! it’s a small, cozy, whole-in-the-wall type venue that’s family owned and full of charm! the food is delicious and the prices! the prices are quite possibly the best part, you get 15 mini pancakes for £5 and add one like cream, marshmallows, sauce, fruit etc are only 50p each! and you also get a drink included! The service was amazing, they’re a very friendly, family owned business which just makes the experience all the more sweet, they have a beautifully decorated store equipped with dog treats for any fur babies you might want to bring along, i really can’t praise them enough, if you’re in altrincham/manchester and feel a hankering for dutch mini pancakes, this is the place to be! :)

Truly amazing food and service. Very generous portions, but yet you always want more! Have been here multiple times for cake / sweet treats and both hot and cold drinks.

When thinking about going papa dutch, the only questions are “how can I get there?” And “do I have money?” No more questions are needed, as this place quite literally has blessed altrincham with the best pancakes ever. Not only do they do delicious pancakes, but they do a stroopwaffel which is to die for, and have an amazing assortment of coffee and ice creams. Honestly humanity as a whole is not ready for this restaurant, and I couldn’t convey with words how great this place is. I beg for you to go immediately and find out how they brought a restaurant from heaven. 10/10, couldn’t recommend more.

My boyfriend lives very locally to Papa Dutch, it takes some real restraint to not be in here every weekend I visit. Some of the best pancakes, Ice cream and drinks you can get in Altrincham, maybe even in Manchester. The staff are so lovely, friendly and welcoming. Keep up the amazing work you all do, myself and my boyfriend will 1000% be back.

Discovered this lovely authentic and atmospheric Dutch cafe when my cinema plans went awry unexpectedly and ended up consoling myself with a plate of delicious poffertjes and great coffee - was probably better than the film!

Little cafe in Goose Green. Late afternoon trip for drink and snacks. Coffee was great. The stroopwafels were incredibly good. My girls commented far better than those I bought from airport. Slight sugar coma afterwards, but will definitely return for more

I saw this little cafe on tiktok a couple of weeks ago and when me and my partner had a trip to Manchester booked i knew we had to come and check it out! This place DID NOT disappoint!! Everything is fresh and cooked to order and it seemed like everyone wanted to come as they were busy. Despite being busy the lovely staff still took the time to have a conversation with us and recommended local places for us to go and see and activities to try as we had never been to the area before and we had a great time! The atmosphere is lovely and the customer service is even better :) I loved it here and will definitely be coming every time i come back to Manchester!

Excellent service and food from start to finsh. I got the mini pancakes, one the milk choclare and bananas, the other with white choclate with hazelnut and strawberry, both tasted great and we finished it with nice hot black tea.

Cute little coffee shop that serves poffertjes the traditional (correct 😉) way. Fresh stroopwafels and pleasant coffee. Only little criticism is more butter and powder suiker on the poffertjes. Not sure if there is normally, but they were a little dry today. Nice to have a little flavour of the Netherlands within a decent distance to us. Now to find somewhere that does borrelbordje with bitterballen etc!!

Fancied a sweet treat so stopped off here with my daughter. Really friendly & welcoming. Couldn’t decide between poffertjes, stroopwafels or the tempting looking apple pie so we settled for all 3, washed down with a nice strong filter coffee. Each was absolutely gorgeous & we will definitely be returning. Now suffering a little from the expected sugar rush but so worth it.

What's not to love about Papa Dutch! The poffertjes are delicious, the appeltaart is delicious, the coffee is great (my husband are I are coffee snobs and we love the coffee here), the staff are friendly and efficient, the music is fab and the location is lovely.
