Got to be in the top three best burgers I've had, add the nice atmosphere and great staff and you have a great evening experience.

Have had some enjoyable meals here in the past, but seems to be a victim of its own success 1hr 15 to get a pizza is ridiculous and no indication given at order that things would even be slow. Worse than that, we we told it was ‘on its way’ before another 15 min wait and then no effort was made to remedy the situation with a refund, free drink, apology. Nothing If it wasn’t for prepayment, we would have walked off long before. But they seem to have lots of punters and individual customer service doesn’t appear to matter within the masses. Shame Burger we had was delicious and delivered in reasonable time.

Tried my first Barge Burger today - 10/10! Maybe the best burger I have ever had. Meaty patties, generous toppings and even a custom topping (raw red onions) that wasn't on the menu. Great friendly and helpful staff, lovely afternoon.

Amazing venue, highly recommend this absolute local gem that has never dissapointed. Today they blew me away with the most amazing burger and fries, which was incredible! Fresh flavourful and a large portion to boot. Super friendly chef who was also my server, but has amazing kitchen skills as that burger rocked!

Took my elderly mother there this evening for a treat, and she loved it. The staff were all lovely, especially the lady that originally took our order and recommended the Courgetto pizza!! Waited AN HOUR AND HALF!! for 2 pizzas…. ordered the spicy one with no chilli’s and got a ton of them so blew my head off…. staff are lovely tho…

Tried to book a table for the evening in person at the restaurant during that day and we were told that it could not be done but that we had to book the food online and hope that here was a table available when we collected it! The website promoted their seasoned fries as a side order but we could not find them on the menu - I rang the restaurant to make sure that we had not missed the fries on the menu that we were looking at to be told that they were running low on fires as they had not ordered enough for the weekend - Note the restaurant is located around 500M from a large Tesco Superstore! We were advised to order fries as an extra when we arrived that evening and we would have them supplied if the restaurant had any. When we arrived I asked for fries and was initially told that they had some, I ordered and paid for them along with two drinks - a cocktail for my wife and a pint of Diet Cola for me as I am diabetic. We were then told that all of the fries had been used and the young lady on the till told us that we should have ordered them online!!!! When the drinks were served the waitress brought my wife's cocktail and two cans of standard cola (no glass or straw to drink from) the cans had already been opened and I didn't fancy drinking from cans that someone else had been handling, I explained that I had ordered and would only drink the "non-sugar" version and requested a pint glass to drink from - sometime later she re-appeared with the correct cans and just a small tumbler. When our Pizzas arrived my wife's was fine and she very much enjoyed it whilst mine seemed overcooked with any of the outer 2 inches shattering in my mouth rather than being able to be chewed. I couldn't be bothered to try to get a fresh pizza and put up with what I was served, being in our 60's we were clearly the eldest customers at that time and maybe the younger clientele accept this standard of service. We left soon after we had eaten what we could and visited the above mentioned superstore to buy desserts which we thoroughly enjoyed back in our hotel room. The restaurant was recommended to us by our host for the weekend but I could never pass the recommendation on after this visit.

Rubbish vibe, staff were disinterested, no gf options and the standard pizza tasted like cardboard, really disappointed as travelled a long way after hearing good things

Awesome pizza, great place to have a few drinks and staff are always friendly.

Wanted to book a gender reveal for 25 guests. Have requested for over two weeks to organiser a function with the company to be told the owner has only just come back of holiday on 3 different occasions, to then also be told on 4-5 different occasions that I will get a call back which never happened! To then rude staff answering the phone and putting phones down! Got told I’d get a call back within an hour at 3pm and now the restaurants closed… I’ve then today gone on the website to see if I can get hold of the owner/manager in a different form to notice the date I asked for is already an event occurring so have been given the run around for over two weeks when I could have had an answer to start with. Communication is clearly an issue or just general ignorance, loved the food which is why I wanted to book but think the customer service has now put me off.

Disappointing after reading all the great reviews. Not at all like pizza in Naples like everyone suggests. There are far better places to go if you want to pay that much!

A beautiful juicy and tasty burger. Not sure what the other strange reviews about no chips are on about, ours were perfect. Best burger around by a long way. Afterwards we went upstairs to enjoy some live music. Great night great food.

Scrumptious pizzas, really lovely staff and a lovely room upstairs where we had my daughter's baby shower. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Cool place. Enjoyed the pizza however based upon the pictures and marketing I don’t think I’m wrong to did expect something more authentic? I was expecting a Napoli crust and tang from the tomato sauce with creamy mozzarella and maybe a tomato garlic brucetta or a rocker salad? None of these things are available instead what I found was a very nice pub in disguise as a pizza restaurant - biggest gripe being the cheese …. Way too similar to the stuff they use in cheaper pizza take out places which is sad because everything’s else was pretty cool ! And fyi you will probably enjoy this place I’m just very picky when it comes to authenticity around pizza and ingredients.

Very disappointing service. 2 of us ordered a burger with fries having heard good things. Young girl took our order. Watched as 2 tables were served their burgers with fries in a bowl. When it was our time burger arrived without fries. Said to young waiter we ordered fries with it he immediately said they are just coming. We proceed to eat out burgers waiting for fries. Halfway through eating had to call waitress over ( same one who took our order) and said we are still waiting for our fries. She went away to check. Carried on eating now nearly finishing our burgers waitress came over and said sorry but your order of burger and fries didn't go through , just solo burgers we have been having issues with our till all day. I said but you remember us ordering fries with our burger she said yes ( there was a big discussion about ordering a solo or with fries) . She said would you like me to order you fries now? We said yes. She asked us to pay an additional £9. Which we did. How did she not pick up the fact when we ordered, her screen would have shown solo burgers instead of burgers with fries? Now solo burger is 10.50 whereas a burger with fries is 13.50. That's an additional £6 for 2 yet we had to pay £9. Cynics among us would say that is a clever stunt to extract more money from us blaming a till error!! I would like to know, how many people notice that.

Fabulous pizza, cooked before your eyes! The best pizza I’ve had anywhere - including Naples. Lovely buzzy atmosphere, excellent service and reasonably priced. A very pleasant experience and we can’t wait to try this place again when we’re next in Faversham - which will be Christmas 2023!

I'd heard good things about Papa and was keen to visit, especially as there was live music on a Friday night, but was very disappointed. As soon as we walked in, there were no staff to greet us or any information on how ordering worked. (You either order from the table via QR code or go up). Tables were dirty and leftover food and plates was not cleared away. THE FOOD TOOK AN HOUR! I was so shocked that Pizzas took this long, it was busy, but that is a joke and no apology from the staff, who would rather run away and avoid eye contact than speak to you. A bottle of red was £25 and it was watery and not full bodied and only one option. Pizzas cost between £15-£17 very expensive for what it was. The live band were upstairs, which was a shame as they sounded good, feels like the atmosphere would have benefited more if they were downstairs and amongst the dining. Overall experience was poor, food was mediocre and it took over an hour to arrive, messy tables, and lack of staff. Not worth the effort, if you want to try their pizza it might be quicker ordering a takeaway.

A hip pizza restaurant down by the quay. Great tasting pizza, often with live music, with a very trendy vibe. The food comes out very quickly, so I wouldn't be put off by big crowds or long queues. They also do the absolute best garlic bread here - I am baffled how they get it to taste so deliciously garlicky without being overwhelming or too oily and soggy.

Nice setting for a pizza and a pint on the standard quay. Food took quite a while to come out but was worth the wait. Beer selection limited but ok if just with a pizza. The margarita pizza I had was really tasty and freshly made. Staff friendly and polite.

Very busy during hop fest bit the team had a good system in place. Yummy pizzas, worth a visit when it's a bit quieter, will definitely be returning.

A delightful treat. The pizza was immersed in flavour and cooked to perfection. This is one of the few times I actually ate the crust. I wholeheartedly implore anyone local to visit and treat yourself to what is arguably the best pizza in Faversham.

The concept works really well for us. We order our pizzas and by the time we get there our order is ready. Pizzas are good of you like them thin. If the weather is nice you can sit out on the quay, if not there is indoor setting. They have live music on a number of nights which adds to the atmosphere

The best pizza place in Kent! If you’re thinking of visiting Faversham or just passing through, then you’ve definitely got to try papa b’s!! I’ve been going here ever since they first opened and can honestly say they’ve grown so much as a business and it’s so nice to have somewhere locally where the atmosphere and food is always 10/10! The staff and owners are always lovely and they’re dog friendly :)

We held a baby shower here. From visiting to plan the day to the actual event everything was absolutely amazing. The food was absolutely delicious proper authentic Italian pizza just as good as I’ve had in Italy. There were 26 of us and the food arrived piping hot, and well presented our favourite pizza was the weekly special which was prosciutto ham with spinach and a balsamic drizzle everyone loved it. Cocktails were great too. The owners were extremely accommodating allowing us in early to decorate and on hand checking everything was how we wanted it only slight criticism was waitresses were a little abrupt and looked a bit miserable but other than that we couldn’t fault it.

Superb pizza and great frozen cocktails; best pizza in Faversham! Really nice location too, with great views across the creek or a relatively cosy interior in the converted boat shed (although it can get very loud and echoey with the lack of soft furnishings). Service can be patchy though, especially when busy; we've had to chase up our order a couple of times. The desserts are a bit expensive for what they are too. Dog and kid friendly (less so in the evenings when it gets super busy), but difficult wheelchair acces due to steps. Definitely one of our favourites.

Pizza is a staple in our diet and comes in all shapes and forms. This is truly the best pizza outside of Italy in beautiful Kent country. Try it! You won’t be disappointed. So good, we even ate the crust..lastly, so good, even our 7 and 2 years old are quiet!

Walk in table for two and delighted to find live music as well as amazing pizza. All the lovely staff we encountered were good humoured and very efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music was fantastic, they do regular music nights. The pizzas were honestly absolutely delicious. I’ve always had a good experience here. I always order well in advance and not had any problems picking it up at the booked time slot and finding a seat, even on a busy Friday or Saturday. Food is always delicious and fresh, and the staff here are always lovely. You can bring dogs in too, which is a bonus! I think this is definitely something a bit different in Faversham. Spoiled for choice if you’re looking for ‘pub grub’ in town, but a little walk down to Standard Quay for this gem is well worth it: good pizza, good selection of cocktails, vibrant but very relaxed atmosphere, and in the right weather you could completely forget you’re in the UK.

So glad we found this place! I'm devastated that I'm not closer to it or that I failed to take any photos. We might've been starving! Staff were awesome and the options for sides and pizza was really good. To be honest, I still think about the garlic bread now... Highly recommend and we will definitely visit again if we are back in Faversham 🤗

My favourite place to go for a pizza! The garlic knots are insanely yummy and the pizzas are always amazing too. Everything is reasonably priced in comparison to big pizza chains which charge a fortune. There’s often live music at the weekend which makes for a fun evening. Would highly recommend Papa B’s!

Papa’s is a must visit if you are ever in Faversham. Serving pizzas that mother Naples would be proud of. We visited on one of their music nights when they were super busy and ordered from the table app. They previously advised a 1 hr wait but our tasty chips arrived in 15 mins followed within the hour the most delicious pizza. Friendly attentive staff cool vibes and set opposite a creek full of interesting character houseboats, and green views. Bravo Papa Bianco.

Located in the Corn Exchange adjacent to Faversham Creek Papa Bianco delivers great food in a great setting. The pizzas are perfectly cooked, tasty and fresh. You can enjoy the fabulous food either outside or in, soaking up the chilled vibes and welcoming atmosphere.

It's easy to see why Papa Bianco gets good reviews, the food is excellent, it's a great venue in a lovely spot. I understand that it's very popular and rightly so, and I wouldn't want to put anyone off. Our experience was as follows: we arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday, yes it was quite busy and we understood when we were told that there was a wait of an hour. A long time but we were prepared for this, we had some drinks and a bowl of chips. It actually took them an hour and a half (not one hour) and it looked as though people sitting outside were being prioritised. There was a private party upstairs and this perhaps contributed to the pressure on the kitchen. Finally, I was overcharged on two glasses of wine. I later found out this should have been £6 a glass but I was charged £17. This was the second time in a month we were made to wait an hour and a half for a meal (the other time was a pub in Rochester). Are we just unlucky?

Having heard nothing but rave reviews about the pizza since lockdown, I finally caved and visited this afternoon. Previously, my go to was Possilipo and I’d not seen the need to go else where. But today, the sun was out so I thought I’d try quayside pizza and see what the fuss was about. My other half and I both ordered a vegan corgetto pizza which was reasonably priced but that’s about where the positives end. I’m not sure what was worse, the cardboard base or the indigestion inducing vegan cheese. Put simply, I won’t be back unless things change. It was about as good as something you’d make with your grandkids on the weekend. I won’t complain about the venue. I won’t complain about the service… But honestly, you’re better off going to domino’s if you want some resembling a pizza.

Really enjoyed our take out experience, the flavours were amazing and the pizza cooked really well. Nice thin crispy crust with quality toppings made for a very tasty take-away.

Great pizza 🍕, great service and good atmosphere. Went on a Thursday and it was not too busy with quick service. They even turned down the music as my wife found it a little too loud 📢. 5/5 for a midweek pizza. Haven't been when there is live music yet!

Superb pizzas but shame you can’t do a telephone order. It was a bit of a pain with a group to be diverted to the website to make an order.

Good pizza but it's not a place to go with young children. Although they have children's high seats, the rest of the place is difficult to navigate with young kids. When they needed to sit on our lap all they wanted to do was get up and touch all the decorative items that are propped up against the wall like gigantic, heavy, ships wheel. It's not their fault that the tiny, cobwebbed toilet block is outside the restaurant and up some steep wooden steps, but if you have a toddler you have zero chance of being able to change a nappy. it's definitely something to consider if your visiting with small kids. We ordered ahead to save the long wait and got their early in order to have our food at a table rather than take it away. It says on their website if you get there early for your order then they can make sure they serve it on plates. Although we we did this, were sat down with drinks and clearly staying, we were still served our food in cardboard boxes. They had all 3 doors opened on a very windy day and it was freezing. I mentioned to our server that it was cold, she didn't seem to care much. Although the pizza was good, mine in particular wasn't great. It tasted as though my pepperoni was cut and left in the fridge for ages. It wasn't great, it had fridge burn taste. I picked mine off and shared my son's which was absolutely fine. I got the vibe of you complained you'd be marked as a Karen so I didn't bother. Not going to visit again. Pizza is the focus it seems, not the actual customer experience
