Unbelievable pizza and steak. Couldn’t recommend it more. I had garlic bread, steak and truffle fries. The dough is so fresh. 10/10

Paolo’s Kitchen is our favourite Italian restaurant. The food is absolutely fabulous and the staff are really attentive, friendly and professional. Paolo always goes the extra mile to ensure your visit is one you will remember and repeat.

Just had a superb Sunday evening meal at Paolo's. We were celebrating my wife's 'big' birthday with two other couples; all of whom commented on how everything was faultless. Not only the food and more than decent Wine List, but also the Service, which could not be faulted. The larger-than-life visibility of Paolo himself was good to see. And the prices? - well, considering the quality of both food and Service; more than reasonable. I have nothing but the utmost praise for this restaurant, and it's so very handy that it is so local to us. Highly recommended - by all 6 of us! Thank you, Paolo and team.

Visiting the area and looked for an Italian restaurant. Really enjoyed our meal, well presented and tasty too. Friendly and professional staff. I am not sure if our waiter’s name was Jorge. If we go back to Elstree/Borehamwood we will be back.

Came here on the off-chance by reading reviews and we were not disappointed. Even though we had not booked a table and for a Monday night it was busy, we were offered a table for two. I would definitely book a table the next time we visit as being a fairly small restaurant and popular I am sure it is busy every day. The service was excellent and my pizza was one of the best I've had with plenty of toppings and a beautiful crust. My husband had the liver which he said was delicious. We had to finish with the classic tiramisu which we shared and this again was one of the best we have had. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming again soon.

Absolutely great food and service. Our server was friendly and attentive and we spoke with one of the chefs who was walking round asking if people enjoyed their meal and if he could sort anything / get any more drinks for anyone.

I took my family to this restaurant purely for tbe Location as one family member lives nearby and is in a wheelchair so isn’t very mobile. Lucky for us the place was awesome as well as local. The hospitality and service was unreal, Paolo (chef owner) was the best host and the food was amazing! It will be our new go to Italian for sure!

The best Italian around. The chef here knows how to cook and to order good ingredients. The waiting staff are great too. Every dish is of great quality. Tonight 2 of us had the ribeye - I wouldn’t ordinarily order steak unless I’m in a steak restaurant but I trust this place and was not disappointed! And try the Piccante pizza (we shared as a starter) - stunning! This place must be tried!!

Fantastic service, beautiful decor and the food is delicious- really authentic Italian food. Would highly recommend the gamberoni starter, the ragu and the broccoli and sausage pasta. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Fantastic food, authentic and lovely Italian - just the best I've had outside Italy! The starters - bruschetta to die for, calamari and courgette , lightly coated and fried to perfection. Mains were divine - succulent pork chop and melt in the mouth calve's liver. The wobbliest panda cotta to follow with strawberry coulis and fresh strawberries - heavenly. A warm welcome and a light, airy and sophisticated venue. Can't fault it, wish we lived nearer!

Arrived early for our online booking and was welcomed heartily. I chose the risotto which was divine, my friend chose king prawn linguine which had immense prawns and just too much for my friend to finish. A nice bottle of white wine and tiramisu for both to finish. Great food and drinks for under £100. The waiters were attentive without being obtrusive and the chef came out to visit twice. Well worth their Tripadvisor high rating which directed us there in the first place.

We were staying at the Ibis Elstree and I looked on Trip Advisor for somewhere to eat, and Paulo’s looked great. It didn’t disappoint either, we called in without a reservation (it was a Monday evening) and got seated straight away. The decor, ambience and staff were all excellent, as was the food and wine. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

We had the most authentic Italian pizza after many years here at Paolo's Italian Kitchen. The wood-fire pizza were delicious: light & fluffy sourdough but full of toppings and cooked to perfection. For dessert we had to try the panna cotta after seeing the chef plate a perfect homemade wobbly panna cotta on their social media page... 'Chef's kiss' ...

Very good food, great service, highly recommended. A curious unexpected find, unfortunately situated in the dismal ugliness of Borehamwood High Street - this is a gem hidden amid the proverbial. We had a lovely lunch with excellent service. My calamari were a bit overdone but the presentation was good and this was our only minor gripe. Everything else was excellent - my partner had a very good pear, prosciutto and goat's cheese starter, and we all had excellent desserts. The brownie was perhaps the best I can recall having anywhere.

Another fantastic meal out at Paulo's Italian Kitchen. Paulo creates the most delicious plates of food and staff provide a welcoming, friendly and professional service. The lighting, decor and music create the perfect ambience which feels you are actually in Italy! Paulo understands food allergies and is able to provide safe food for my son who is severely allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, all fish (except tuna) and shellfish.

Friendly, helpful staff and lovely atmosphere. Presentation of food was great and everything was delicious whether it was burrata, mussels or aubergine parmigiana followed by risotto, mushroom ravioli or steak.
