Defo the best kebab in Chorlton , make sure you ask for the Donner grilled extra and it’s bang on .. garlic bread and cheese is 10/10 if you eat in soon as you get it slightly overpriced but worth it for a treat i guess … the young woman who sometimes works behind the till is a bit rude allways got a bad attitude.. well i guess I would be too if i was working behind that till for about 8.50 a hour …. Yoghurt / Garlic sauce is banging …..Anyway defo go here for your kebab if you’re in the old Chorlton town .. bring your own cans tho it’s like 1.20 for a can of coke or Rio 🤣🤣😩

Been coming here for many many years and it’s always been good food and service however I’m very disappointed as I find its got a little overpriced, over £20 for 2 medium kebabs, 1 chips (fit for 1 person) & 2 drinks :-(

The wait was ridiculous, at least half an hour for a donor kebab. The kebab looked ok when it was being wrapped, but it was stone cold and the nan bread was wet, not what i would expect.

This is the best place to get kebabs round south Manchester I reckon. Had one last week and it was delicious.

Can’t go wrong they take so much care!!! Amazing! The staff really know what they’re doing my standard order is a larger mixed doner they grill the meats after carving so gets a unique and fantastic flavour!

Moved away from Chorlton in 2003, was craving a kebab and remembered this place was always good. Wasn’t disappointed with a lovely mixed kebab, lots of lovely fresh salad, hummus and chilli sauce. The staff were efficient and friendly, a little taster of Shawarma to help me make my choice. The Mrs had a Halloumi and falafel flatbread which she though was delicious 😋 Won’t be waiting 18 years for my next visit!

I have loved this place for years.. always recommend it.. tonight I got the special.. it was a really small portion for 9.50. I also asked for more than 2 pickled chilli's and was told to order a portion for a £1.. service was from the regular (boss).. bad attitude.. small portions.. good quality though.. Will try and find a new place.. hopefully a one off..

Great kebab, I had the falafel and Halloumi, really fresh and great flavour, been a few times now and always maintained the quality. The chips are also surprisingly good, really crispy, make sure you get them too.

I stupidly tried Turkish Delight last week. What a mistake. If you want a decent fresh kebab...you go to Panicos...end of story.

Only take cash ??? Didn’t get chance to try the food as only accept cash. It’s 2021. Midst of a pandemic. “We don’t have a cash machine” is unacceptable

I waited 30 minutes for the above take away. Too long. I ordered it because I know they can be done super fast as I was in a hurry. I qas charged full price even though I didn't want bread. The meat was ready. The salad was ready. Get the small orders out so You can concentrate on the big orders. It doesn't matter what order they come in. 3 men moving from station to station with no order to their service. Please get organised because your food is really good I left after the 30 minutes was up and without my food as I had other things to do.

Although the food is ok waiting 45 mins stood in the cold during a pandemic because you refuse to answer the phone is abysmal and all without a apology Shame on you.

Absolutely SLAPPED. I am not even vegetarian but I got the halloumi and fallafel kebab with some yoghurt, some of their vegan chilli sauce and some houmous and I polished it off within SECONDS. My partner got the spicy greek sandwich special which comes with multiple types of meat and he had to hold the sandwich away when offering the bite to stop me from wolfing down the entire thing. He does not usually like donner but he said he thinks it’s amazing here. Will book another train back from London purely to enjoy this again. Also boss man offered us samples of the chicken shwarma (didn’t ask, he just gave it to us). Very prompt service and very nice service too! Honestly you have to go there. I have been coming here since it was panico whom owned it with his wife proper family business. There was a seating area with bar and restaurant in the back. We probably use them once a week and for the past month it's been getting steadily worse. I phoned to advise the manager of this as thought they may appreciate the feed back but he gave me a sticking arrogant attitude which would make me never cross his door again. Would of thought in this current climate with situation he would have been respectful on the phone not arrogant and rude. Well done driving customers of 20 years away great business. Food is normally good but size of the kebab was an absolute diagrace

Intenté aquí por primera vez después de ansiar desesperadamente un kebab y no me decepcionó. Tuve el pollo mixto, era encantador lo único que algunos trozos del pollo estaban secos. Otra cosa, el pan naan era muy delgado, se sentía más como una envoltura de tortilla, así que intentaré con pan pitta la próxima vez. Pero aparte de eso, realmente disfruté y volveré la próxima vez que quiera un kebab. Además, para todos los que calificaron la higiene alimentaria, personas como yo, este lugar tiene una calificación de 4 (una de las principales razones por las que decidí probarlo).

This is as good as it gets if you like traditional Greek Kebabs. The meat is tender, plenty of salad and sauces. The menu is amazing and the food lovingly prepared on the grill. Well worth a visit.

We decided to get a kebab (30/09) it was late on 23:30ish. We are local and have eaten here before and always been ok but last night we ordered two kebabs when we got home the meat was stone cold and was cut really thick in small chunks it was disgusting. Over a tenner and it all went straight in the bin, not nice at all. Just because it's late and people may be merry the standards /quality shouldn't drop. It's put us off and unfortunately next time we will go elsewhere.

Was looking for a decent kebab place in chorlton and this came up, so I thought I'd give it a good. I ordered a mixed lamb kebab with chips. I live five mins away and when I got home the chips were inedible... They tasted like they were cooked, left out and then fried again; very hard and/or extra extra crisp. The kofte and shish tasted like they were uncooked but the donner was very tasty.

We were recommended this place by a few people and it did not disappoint! We went for the chicken mixed kebab and we were given loads. Well worth it

Hay un gran menú para satisfacer a la mayoría. incluyendo, kebabs, donner carnes, pollo shawarma, pizzas, pan de ajo, hamburguesas, ensaladas y salsas, calzones, etc. . . . He utilizado esta comida para llevar a menudo como siempre he encontrado la comida y el servicio excelente. Normalmente bajar y pedir en la tienda, pero como siempre está lleno pensé que le ahorre tiempo y orden por teléfono. Fuimos a la tienda a recoger en el tiempo que me dijeron y en la entrada de la tienda no estaba muy concurrido. Se quedó allí durante unos minutos y la persona detrás del mostrador ni siquiera me reconocen sólo mantienen además de alrededor. Luego alguien salió de la parte trasera y preguntó si podrían ayudar a que les dije que estaba recogiendo lo que orden que eliminará bajando desde la cima de horno. Después de los 2 minutos de camino a casa pensé que la envuelve no se sentía muy caliente y en la apertura estaba muy caliente. Supongo que se había preparado y estar allí durante 10 minutos, no volver a comprar no tuve la sensación de ir de nuevo, pero sentía que había perdido 13 libras. 50

Por desgracia, la mayoría de la gente asocia el kebab como comida después de 10 pintas de cerveza! Esas personas son dirigentes cerriles perdiendo un tipo increíble de comida. Las opciones disponibles en calidad y panicos es magnífico. La cena de pollo con Halloumi es uno de mis favoritos. La ensalada es siempre fresco y el pan Naan es preciosa y delgadas. We tried this place on a late drive out whilst visiting Manchester over the easter break. We were not disappointed. The best doner i have had in ages, the meat was tasty, juicy and cut thickly - not stringy like normal doner shops where the meat goes a transparent colour. The staff were funny and served the customers with a smile. Variety is amazing, salads and sauces all on point! Would definitely go back again.

I had a large Lamb Kofte on Naan ( which is actually a lovely light Turkish flatbread ) with salad and sauces and my son had a large Chicken Kofte on Pitta Bread with salad and sauces, both were really tasty and brilliant value for money.

Awesome kebab wraps - none of this soggy pitta bread. Good meats and salads plus they offer two strengths of chilli sauce, but be careful, the hot one is spicy.

Voy Aquí prácticamente cada semana porque el kebabs son fantásticas. El pollo shwarma es para morirse, con gran ensalada fresca y sabrosa de tomate y salsas de chili. Los chicos que trabajan aquí es muy amable y muy eficiente, y los precios son muy razonables. No puedo recomendar este lugar!

I reviewed this place a long time back, but thought it deserved an up to date review as we visit so often. This place is amazing and better than any kebab house in Manchester. It is fresh authentic Turkish food at its best. Marinated meats, vegetarian dishes, salads and sauces - it really is amazing! Dominic is a great staff member and entertains my son on a weekly basis - my son asks can we go and see Dominic! He is a credit to the team and is always chatty with all the customers. I can't recommend this place enough.

Friendly and welcoming staff and the food is always fresh, I always have the halloumi kebab, which can be on a pitta or a nan, and comes with a choice of hummous and salad....wow it is good !

Panicos is a Turkish kebab house in Chorlton on Barlowmoor Road. They make a whole variety of kebabs and pizzas. They also do other Mediterranean staples such as grilled halloumi cheese and humous. The food is great and the staff are really friendly. The premises are spotless and the place is usually busy. They do a free garlic bread with cheese on orders of £18 or more. All in all an excellent eatery in the heart of Chorlton.

I always considered Panicos one of the best kebab houses in the city, and it still currently is. However, these are worrying times. After a bit of a makeover involving incorrectly printed menu screens, new startling signs have appeared giving prices for previously gratis adornments. £1 for green chillis meant I was rationed to 2 without getting charged this fee. I like my green chillis and always used to get a few. This has just taken the edge off, and if this ethos continues,or worse, takes root and spreads it will be the end of our relationship that goes back many years. This is a plea to management, let your very capable staff judge if it's a good call to give me 4 or 5 chillis, rather than the set ration. Getting militant about these things will be the death of the place.

My son introduced me to Panicos, a really great takeaway very well organised selling great food. You go in place your order, pay and wait for it to be freshly produced. We had Mixed Doners with either naan bread or pitta bread. It was excellent, produced in about ten minutes and finished off with a fine selection of salads. The place was quite busy but the obviously experienced staff coped easily with the demand. A place I would be happy to visit again.

I'm a connoisseur of a good kebab and the Chicken and donner mix on naan with all the sauces is second to none. I live a good 20 minutes away but have no problem driving over to chorlton every now and then for a panicos. Staff are great, service spot on.

The original Panicos was a very friendly longstanding family business where time, understanding and pride in their provision of takeaway foods and in their service was at a standard of excellence. Today Panicos remains a takeaway minus the homemade Dolmades (stuffed vine leaves), and it is a favorite of locals or visitors, especially late in the evening when an evening of drinking urges the sensation for a need of food. What better than a kebab from Panicos. Having had a real desire for a good plain old Donner kebab I purchased one earlier in the week for my tea. It was easy no queues and the member of staff was calm and relaxed. I was provided with exactly what I requested, allowing me to choose what I wanted or didn't want added on my kebab. I talked with the staff member about the past at Panicos and the lovely fresh Dolmades they cooked. The response was unusual, "No, we only serve the ones from tins, you need a woman to do that." Saddened by this marginalisation of women and potential show of sexism, I decided to go home with my kebab and consider the possibilities. Perhaps he felt less capable or maybe they have no female staff available who make good Dolmades.Two days later following a very long day at work I encouraged my close friend to come with me and get kebabs instead of cooking a meal at home. I waited in a queue of lovely yet fairly inebriated customers and after quite some time it was my turn. It was clear that they had a necessary system in place to manage the toll of work from customers queuing for their lovely freshly prepared and freshly cooked food. The management of inebriated customers was handled very well and with great speed, humor and generous provision. Well done to the Panicos team for having worked this out very well. It additionally helps the entire situation remain safe.It came to my turn and I was different given that I was serious about my medical dietary health needs and needed the staff putting my kebab together to hear what I needed rather than automatically do a 'go for all of it' attitude. As I stopped the member of staff putting sauces on my kebab, harmful to my health, I explained that I would tell him what I needed. His reaction was negative and I explained that the difference was my health needs and that I was not drunk. The enitre situation became a customer service failure with an increased negative attitude and increasingly challenging confusion about communication from the member of staff and his colleagues. By now I'd completely lost my appetite and chose to not have the kebab I'd ordered. The gentleman I'd been served by earlier in the week was abrupt, yet happy to refund me. I was completely unable to have a reasoned conversation with him because he actively blocked that possibility. I explained that I would still buy my friend her food as she had worked hard that day and I would invite her to come and choose what she wanted with her kebab. Yes, they also have a small seating area outside where you can either dine or wait. Problem solved, yet an indifference to my expressed concern about "this is not good customer service or relations". It was very apparent that the circumstances had caused a furor of humor amidst the staff, including grinning glances, with the situation now led by the gentleman who had served me badly. In summary the experience was upsetting. Perhaps late evening is a bad time to go if you want something more than a 'conveyor-belt speedy service' and to be treated with a perceived necessary indifference, seemingly based on a misplaced assumption that most late night takeaway customers will be drunk and speed and income are the priority. Late in the evening is definitely a bad time to go to Panicos because they are held in a high speed routine flow to deal with customers leaving drinking establishments at 11.30pm through 2am. Unfortunately given my two experiences I was left feeling that perhaps as I am female I was not to be heard and only to be disregarded. Being a fair individual, it nonetheless has to be said that their food is excellent, and my friend loved her Lamb Shish Kebab. The prices are reasonable and competitive. The salad is fresh (topped up in the shop having been prepared by a young lady working in the back). The food is well seasoned, the meat is not dripping with grease (as can happen) and the flat bread is flavoursome at the right thickness. What a shame that the attitude of the staff can destroy the potential for good food.

We have kebabs from Panicos at least once a week. They have a separate meat free grill for us veggies and vegans. The kebabs are consistently excellent and not expensive. The staff are always friendly and helpful even when they are busy. They are open from 4.30pm to midnight every day except Monday. Definitely worth a visit1?veg

Food and atmosphere is amazing. Ideal for everyone; work friends, couples, small families and social gatherings. The staff are really sociable and funny. I got to speak to the owner who's very friendly too, you can tell he works hard, to keep his customers happy. In regards to food: the portion sizes are VERY generous for the price you pay. Fresh and clean, haven't seen a takeaway this good in a long time. If you're reading this, you should definitely check it out and try their food.

This is not your average kebab house! We visit here a lot, they have a vast selection of salads as well as a good selection of meats all cooked to order. You will not be disappointed although it does get very busy. Keep up the good work guys!

The portions are really generous and prices v reasonable. But what makes this place stand out is the excellent quality of fresh ingredients. About as healthy and tasty as takeaway gets. The staff are very friendly and place really clean, you can tell the owner has real pride in his product. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years, I travel from cheadle to Chorlton for the chicken Schwarma it's the best I've ever tasted. Fresh, clean and good value for money. They have a seperate grill for vegetarians which is good aswell.Please do try.

Variety and good quality meat and veggies. The pizzas are full body and rich, amazing food. Full garlic bread pizza if you spend more than 20 quid.Healthy option: ask for lamb and chicken and salad in naan bread. No fats from donner meat, no cheese....

Popped in on the way home after hard training - and to say that I was starving would have been an understanding,- honestly, I could eat a proverbial horse !!!Opted for a chicken shawarma ( costr £5.70 for " Large" ) , which came with all the salad and in a good sized wrap.I drove a few minutes to the secluded place and demolished that chicken kebab within a few minutes Very tasty indeed

I love this place. It has a great team and the food is really tasty. Even when they are busy it doesn't feel like you wait that long. My only complaint is that they aren't open even later.

My favourite place for a kebab/wrap - keep going back. Fresh food, really tasty, reasonably priced and staff are great. Service is always quick and easy. Try the falafel and halloumi naan...to die for! Some of the best falafel I have eaten and really substantial portion sizes. The wraps are HUGE!

I've just recently got back from turkey and the guys in here recommended restaurant to eat at when we were there. This place was better than all of them thou, i had to go there as soon as i got back just to be sure but it was. You always have to wait for your order but it's defiantly worth it

This is more than a kebab house, more than a takeaway. This is not just a kebab, this is the kebab to end all kebabs. I have never had anything like it. Excellent in every way. The donner meat is homemade!! I consistently get the mixed kebab with added sujuk (Turkish sausage) and halloumi on a naan. All freshly prepared, the meat is all cooked in front of you on a griddle. An excellent array of salad. I would always opt for the humous at no extra charge. There is also an array of sauces to be added on to your kebab. The service is always with a smile. We have also received a free garlic bread with cheese on occasions. The kebab usually comes to around £10.00, you may think this steep HOWEVER, it is 100% worth every penny, a pile of meat, salads and extras resulting in a truly fantastic meal that will keep hunger locked up.

They are clean, fresh, tasty and there is plenty of food on each, what else can you ask for from a kebab shop. My favourite has to be the Greek sandwich with the hummus and hallumi, as I said, best kebabs ever!

Chicken kebabs nice , but if you're into doners then this is it. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for, AND They put the meat on the grill to finish it off ( top tip for any other kebab house anywhere on earth) which is Fantastic. One thing though, if you get the pitta bread option I find you dont get as much meat and salad so always go for the nan bread 50p extra. Well worth it. Defo recommend. And when you're queing, check the other food out what they're prepping, because it all looks amazing.

Turkish style kebabs. Everything really good and fresh. Donner is nice and done in the grill which crisps it up a bit. Great salads. Free garlic bread for over £20 quid orders so pay together when going with friends. I do prefer Indian style kebabs though like Saajans in fallowfield

The staff here I find to be friendly and give generous portions. The kebabs are tasty but often the meat is far too thick- but this is personal taste I suppose. The establishment is clean and the prices are reasonable.

This place is the best kebab house in Chorlton for my money and that is saying something for the amount of them. Staff are excellent and always happy and friendly.

Always delicious, they are really fabulous here! Great customer service, the service is fast and they kebabs taste great! Much better than the kebab shop across the road.

The food is known by all around for sheer quality. It is best in area at kebabs.Service however is chaotic.They use a number system, and then you have to explain to the drunk guy in front you aren't pushing in.So loses a point.

I got recommended to come here whilst looking for a take away that had seating. I had the haloumi for starters which generously offered a helping of humus. The sucuk kebab was v tasty and filling - proper Turkish fayre that you don't often find in the average kebab house.

We have been coming here for a while and it's one of the best Turkish style kebab places out there. The donner meat is home made and tastes delicious. A far cry from the standard poor quality meat you get in most other places. The rest of the menu is excellent too. A great selection of salads and home made chilli sauces and the chicken shwarma is also excellent. I actually prefer this place to the UK kebab champion across the road and now they have added the covered seating area it's nice to sit outside.

Had a lamb kebab, very nicely grilled ,it's home made , salad and veg all fresh. Wide variety of sauces in various strengths. Well worth a visit I will definitely be returning.

Separate veggie grill where you can get halloumi kebabs :) first place I have had one of those. Everything is cooked fresh and there is great choicd
