Panda Restaurant in Sunderland

¡Qué experiencia horrible! Hemos comido aquí varias veces anteriormente, pero nunca más después de hoy. Mi esposa y yo decidimos pasar nuestro almuerzo de San Valentín aquí y qué error resultó ser! Nos mostraron a nuestra mesa y pedimos bebidas. Salimos de nuestra mesa a buscar nuestra comida y al regresar a nuestra mesa nuestras bebidas estaban allí esperando. Tan pronto como nos sentamos a comer, una camarera joven vino a nuestra mesa con nuestra factura y una máquina de tarjetas y nos preguntó si nos gustaría pagar en efectivo o con tarjeta. Respondí “estamos comiendo nuestra comida” a lo que vino la respuesta “te pedimos que pagues antes de comer”. Esto no me ha pasado en ocasiones anteriores, ya que siempre he pagado en el bar al salir. Si sus procedimientos han cambiado, entonces lo suficientemente justo, pero si desea que la gente pague antes de comer, entonces tome el pago en el punto de sentarse y pedir bebidas. ¡NO solo porque la gente se sienta a comer después de conseguir comida! Esto arruinó totalmente el ambiente y básicamente arruinó nuestro almuerzo. Había una joven madre con un niño cuya mano sostenía mientras llevaba un plato de comida de vuelta a su mesa y la misma joven camarera se le acercó pidiéndole que le pagara ANTES de siquiera haberse sentado. Lejos de esta cuestión, la comida en sí no es ni mucho menos tan buena como solía ser. La elección de platos es mucho menor que antes. En general, una experiencia muy pobre en todo el mundo y después de haber visitado este restaurante muchas veces durante varios años puedo decir honestamente que esta será la última vez.

La comida era terriblemente insípida congelando frío, los mariscos que disfruto eran asquerosos. Lo escupí. Nunca probé tan viles gambas reales. Los postres eran aún peores. No volveré a visitarlos. Le di un uno, pero debería haber tenido un cero.

Sin duda, el peor buffet chino que he comido. Restaurante frío como un iglú, comida fría, muy mala selección solo una pila de platos estaban calientes! No es de extrañar que uno tiene que pagar antes de comer! Sombrío, granero de un lugar. Nunca más.

¡Tomo a mi hija una vez al mes como un regalo ya que es su restaurante favorito! Aunque soy consciente de que está creciendo y no siempre calificará para los precios de los niños, todavía tiene solo 13 años y solo maneja 2 platos de comida. Hoy nos dijeron que tenía que pararse en la puerta para ser medida para ver si estaba por encima de la altura por el precio del niño. Esta es la primera vez que se nos pide que hagamos esto, ella estaba más allá de la línea por una pulgada y llevaba zapatillas deportivas de plataforma. Es muy bajita para su edad. Debido a esto me dijeron que me cobrarían por una comida para adultos. Desafortunadamente no volveremos ya que el precio completo es una cantidad ridícula a pagar por un niño de 13 años que solo gestiona 2 platos máximo.

Simplemente horrible. Las bolitas estaban heladas. Otros alimentos fueron golpeados y fallaron en cuanto a temperatura, que es una receta para el desastre! Galletas de gambas, y probablemente la peor comida buffet que he probado en mucho tiempo. Solo comimos como habíamos conducido durante 4 horas y estábamos hambrientos! No volveré a visitarlo, eso es seguro. La próxima vez iremos al local chippy en su lugar. Oh, mi Pepsi Max fue agradable sin embargo!

Opciones de comida limitada, sin sabor, no muy caliente. A casi 50 libras con una bebida cada uno, sin relación calidad-precio. ¡¡No volverás!!

Para dos personas 44 libras. 60 es un escándalo. No volveré a visitar este buffet. Pedí una botella pequeña de agua y la factura era por una botella grande. Si no lo hubiera comprobado, habría pagado una botella grande.

Cuando llegamos a la cocina Panda nos sentamos de inmediato y nos dijeron que podía conseguir algo de comida, pero ella volvería en breve para tomar el pago. La razón por la que había querido visitar era porque había visto dumplings en las fotografías, así que fui directamente a ellos puse uno en mi plato solo para darme cuenta de que hacía frío a piedra. Le dije al camarero y él y otro hombre comenzaron a revisar el calentador. No me atreví a tener nada de eso entonces, ya que parecía que lo estaban revisando y moviendo la comida durante todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí. Los rollos de primavera y samosas estaban prácticamente vacíos. El pollo tenía una textura extraña y los pasteles se veían muy decepcionantes. Después de salir tuve un estómago muy malo para el resto de la noche y me sentí muy enfermo. No volverá.

My mate and I were staying in Sunderland prior to going to the international football in Newcastle and decided to give Panda Garden a look. We were not disappointed. These received a friendly welcome from the staff and made to feel at home. Normally all you can eat buffets I find to be okay, nothing special, but they do the job. However, here, the food was simply excellent. There is a very good selection and it was cooked beautifully and all of it was very flavoursome. I did the usual thing and went up three times, purely because the food was so good. I am gutted I live so far away as otherwise I would be here regularly, such was the enjoyment. Highly recommended and very fairly priced, which extended to the drinks as well.

Went for lunch today and hoped for a good choice of authentic Chinese food. Instead I was presented with a selection of lukewarm tasteless dishes that were used cheap ingredients. The beef strips were really bad. Avoid at all costs. I have eaten at many Chinese buffets in the past but this was the by far the worst I have encountered. I definitely won’t be going back.

So to start they make you pay as you sit down, which given the quality of the food is probably a good business decision. The food itself was lukewarm, the spring rolls rock hard and I desperately wanted to tell the chef that just adding a tonne of black pepper doest not automatically make a dish taste better. I did try other dishes just in case it was my personal taste but couldnt find any that were particularly appetising. On the upside we got a chinese takeaway when we got home which was much better.

The boba tea part of the bar had lots of different flavors and explained the difference between different bobas

It’s the worse Chinese buffed I ever been. First of all they make you pay even before you start eating, not many choices and the food itself not taste. I will never come back.

Great service and lovely food. Really tasty and fresh. Cakes fantastic and prices ok. Will come back as usual because there is not many good restaurants in Sunderland

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. It was tepid or cold. None of it was tasty. Lowest quality buffet we have been to. The staff were pleasant but unfortunately could not recommend the food. Not a good experience.

Good food and very good service. I would strongly recommend the sweet and sour chicken and the bubble tea.

Buffets are rarely good in my opinion. I found the food to be poor and overpriced. I have not been back.

I went here so wanted to really enjoy it. Sadly I was let down some of the food was under cooked. It's really let the place down cause other dishes were really nice. I didnt like chicken curry. Panda please cook your food right.
