Panda House in Oxford

I get food poisoning yesterday 🥹 I wish the restaurant will fix hygiene issues

Recently moved to the area, was first Chinese restaurant I tried for takeaway/delivery. Have ordered from Panda House a few times now, always, always great food. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The food as always was gorgeous

Rice was cold but the rest was lovely

My food arrived 2 hours late. And when I called the restaurant they said it would be 20 minutes. It then took another 30 minutes on top of the estimated 20. Then the driver could "find" my house. Very disappointed

Been here a lot but today it wasn't a good experience chips tasted like they were cooked from the night before and same with chicken balls o did complain to just eat but nothing they can do as I collected. Normally this restaurant is fine but I recommend don't use during week just use at weekends and standards slip

chips were rank liked they were recooked from lunch time ,nasty ,fish was very greasy ,& fatty ,will not buy from here anymore

the food as usual was very good sadly due to the delivery taking over 30 min the food was only warm which spoilt it .

Your food is always 100% but last night was a 50% . My chow mein was burnt . Turned me off from the rest of my order .

Chips were stale and chewy, completely unedible. We were also missing a curry sauce. Couldnt complain as the driver didnt complete the delivery for 30mins.

Awful food, ordered Friday night wish I never. I’ve been out for 4 days with food poisoning. I’ve never felt so bad in my life never ordering from this place again!! STAY AWAY!

Unfortunately chips were very dry large cod was small did not enjoy at all shame as have been great in the past.

The takeaway is always a great cheat meal during the week of intense studies. I have a standard for a tenner but the price rises is challenging everyone and now I feel poorer for it. I'll still grab a meal, but maybe not as often as I used to.

Order was slightly late but super delicious. Tried the chicken in blackbean hofun, will definitely have again very tasty and chicken was very tender.

I asked for fresh chips. They gave me stale chips. It’s doesn’t look fresh at all.

Really lovely Chinese food but the chips were really awful had to throw them away shame really.

Chicken and cashew smelt vile! The chow mien was very dry. Prawn crackers were too oily and fishy. The duck was nice but not aromatic.

Absolutely disgusted with this Takeaway - we found a black paperclip in the King Prawn Chow Mein we rang them they said it is what they clip the orders with, refused to assist us, directed us to Just Eat, ruined our evening. Received an email stating the food could still be consumed. The food was contaminated and am disgusted at the response. Do not eat here.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and very polite and helpful! Food was not greasy. Well packaged and good size portions too! Will definitely be ordering again! Lovely authentic Chinese food at a very good price. A hidden gem in Oxford and would highly recommend. Staff are very friendly and chatty with customers. You will be well looked after.

Food was horrid. Normally rave how good the food is everything spicy even the spring roll will not be ordering again as had to arrange other food as it was to spicy to eat

original delivery time was 8:20-8:40 then got changes to 8:45-9:05 asked for an update and got told 9:20 I placed the order at 7:20 how does it take 2 hours!!!

I never received the battered mushroom or the fried rice with bean sprouts the food was nice but didn't get the whole order

I’ve been a customer at Panda House for years. The service is always great and they happily cater to your needs. The only issue I had today was the prawn toast was far too oily for me. However, the rest of the food was delicious!!

The service this place gave us was unreal very pleasant staff and happy to help

The best Chinese in Oxford for me! We always get our Chinese from here. The menu has everything we want and the flavours are immaculate. Prices are great and delivery is efficient and friendly! Would recommend

Very mediocre, ordered special curry...got mushroom, onion and pea curry..hot and sour soup was filled we tofu(i didnt order a veggie one). Swerve it..

I would say this is the very best Chinese in Oxford. I did notice in the special fried rice and the special chow mein no longer has a king prawn and only the small shrimp which is a shame. Also my beef satay didn’t have very much beef. HOWEVER the quality of the food continues in my opinion to be the very best in Oxford. The quality and the price is extremely good and for this reason they are my first choice of Chinese always. I’ve grown up eating thier food. Id recommend the Mongolian lamb and the chilly garlic chicken wings. Ive been around Oxford for a long time and tried all the Chinese shops. You won’t be disappointed Please add the king prawns back to your special dishes

Great Chinese & traditional fish and chip shop owners have been there 40 years so there're doing something right.

Need to change your opening times on the website travelled all the way to your take away and not open and on your website. It says open also on your door times says open but no one there. Just waste peoples time looks terrible anyway

Very nice owner always takes orders politely and talk friendly and lovely food with good price. Best food with best price around Cowley. My daughter and son love their fried rice always.

Good choice of dishes and we enjoyed the food we had (I only gave 4 stars because I prefer my own locals version of my usual dish). I would come here again if staying nearby.

As a family we won't go anywhere else. Lal and his family are very friendly when we go into the takeaway. The food is always delivered hot and tasty. I have tried a few other Chinese takeaways over the last 20 years living in Holloway but nothing compares to Panda House. All my children love the garlic chicken wings and my favourite is the crispy duck 😋

First time for takeaway. A shame they are cashonly. Not sure about the garlic and chilli ribs. That being said the rest was absolutely lovely. Friendly service food was piping hot even after a 15 minute drive home. Overall can't fault and will be back and spreading the word.

Been coming to this place since I was a child with my parents and I am still coming with my kids I’ve know this shop for more than 30+ years very well recommended

You can't fault this family run chippy for fresh food and good quality. They offer both the traditional chip shop menu together with an authentic Chinese food takeaway. They know their customers personally and have been a long established business in the area for many years. Parking directly outside and adequate litter bins if like me you enjoy the occasional car picnic. I hope the newly proposed traffic measures by the local council doesn't effect business causing yet another family run local favourite to close

Best food by miles, 40 years in the making

Looks like they are trying to eek out maximum profits by pushing up the prices and decrease the expensive products. The portion sizes are small, specially when it comes to the lamb meat, only a handfulof pieces and I found a lot of onions and greenpeppers. Stir fried lamb, the box was only 3/4 full too, the vegetables spring rolls were small and had very little fillings, nice pastry but not a great experience as I paid a lot for not very much.

The very best Chinese in Oxford. Prices are what keep me coming back along with quality. The best tasting chilly garlic food. Highly recommend chilly and garlic wings, Singapore fried rice and Mongolian lamb. The very best!

the chinese food was the best we’ve ever had - the chicken satay & sweet & sour hong kong style was amazing, and the price was really reasonable the service was unfortunately quite slow, as i’d ordered an hour prior to when I arrived at the collection time, and still had to wait 20 mins, but the food definitely made up for it
