Very friendly staff and delicious food

Wow, such a gem of a place. Not the best decor but it really does not matter as the food and service was absolutely exceptional.

Very tasty and authentic Indian food. An extensive menu with great variety at a fair price. It was 6pm on Sat evening so very quiet. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The decor is the worst aspect, patched up walls and ceilings, wires trailing everywhere and a strange collection of artwork....tigers versus 18th century hay wain. But the food, service and value is good.

What a gem! Great Indian food, super menu of specials and 'traditional' dishes at a reasonable price.

We waited over 2 hours for our food to be delivered even though we are an 8 minute drive , not only was it cold but it was also stale. Waste of money and very disappointing. Most went in the bin

We visited tonight to celebrate our anniversary. The welcome was friendly, service quick and efficient, food was amazing and prices great, especially with a Taste card 2 for 1. Definitely recommend!

Great place to have a nice Indian curry after going to Alton towers, good food, friendly staff, and had availability, with taking a look if you are out at Alton towers for the day.

My recent visit was a complete disaster. Despite waiting for an hour, the steak we ordered was overcooked and nothing like what we had requested. The service was abysmal, with inattentive staff.

I am amazed this restaurant is not better supported locally. Great food, service and pricing. If you look at the general struggles associated with small businesses, this might be a case of 'use it or lose it'. I encourage you to give it a go! 🙂

Come here for a group gathering after a day trip out in Alton Towers. Food was exceptional and service was 10/10. Will definitely be coming back

Staff was friendly, service was so slow haf to wait nearly 2 hours for food and the place was empty, chicken looked under cooked and pink inside, also forgot our chips after paying for them avoid this place

Excellent Indian restaurant, by far the best in the area and the foods up there with best in any area. It might not look like much, but in the tradition of all hidden gems don’t let that put you off. Family run business, and the guys are helpful, friendly, and a joy to know. It's definitely worth a visit if you're heading to Alton Towers.

It was quiet but service was slow.

I tried all the local indians and panacea is by far the best, And has been constantly good since I started using it 4 years ago, so ignore the odd bad review and go and enjoy the best indian around.

This place is amazing and it had authentic taste of indian food. I am not sure but they are running her family business. The price are very fair. This restaurant service is good, food is delicious. I was last and this Restaurant is open till 9:00 p.m. this place is best Indian food I have ever had I definitely recommended you to go and and try this you never disappoint here. There are lots of varieties are available vegetarian and non vegetarian food items, but I am trying non vegetarian food because I am a non vegetarian. But if you are a vegetarian this place is also good for vegetarian people. Restaurant staff is also good. They are always ready for help you. If you are visit alton town, you must have visit this place to.

I am from Birmingham and stopped by to eat at panacea. All I could say is that the owners have really taken care with customer service and the food was absolutely amazing. I was recommended to try the new dishes that is not yet on the menu, these dishes really had appeased my taste buds to another level, all the food came out on time. I loved the ambience of the place. Definitely worth a visit again.

Best curry we’ve had in ages. Totally unexpected as it’s in a small village. Blown away

Phall was not hot. Very very salty so much so I threw over half of my meal away. Keema nan had a thumb size bit of keema inside nan was very thin and also very very salty. Popadums were burnt mint dip was very watery. Onion salad was limp not fresh. Masala was overly flavoured with coconut and garlic was non existent in nan. Will definitely not use again

Just visited Panacea with my family after a long day at Alton Towers, amazing food, great service and really good value for money. Definitely worth a visit, just 10 minutes from the theme park. Children well fed ready for the journey home!

Excellent friendly service, had a takeaway, very good quality food decent portion sizes, highly recommended.

Awful we arrived to a closed restaurant after travelling 25 miles, and we had to phone up when arriving to see why it was shut, ok there was an issue outside to do with power but there wasn't a sign on the window or we had no phone call.

Staff is good but food isn’t. Sorry but this is a honest review. Please up your game with the REAL INDIAN FOOD as what you are serving isn’t authentic and not great quality. Cob webs on the lights and ceiling. Not very clean.

Excellent food with great price. We finally found an open restaurant at 9:00 pm since we didn’t have reservations at Alton towers’ restaurants. We ordered 3 appetizers, 3 lamb biryani, 1 chicken biryani and chicken curry with rice all for £46!

Absolutely awful place with awful food. Chicken was so off it made me sick on the spot. We visited this place on the off chance after a trip to Alton Towers. Please save your money and spend on sandwiches from Tescos. Avoid

Amazing. Best food in the area. I've never had a bad meal in this restaraunt. The deli Karai is simply unbelievable. People tell me the exterior and derelict buildings opposite put them off but they're missing out on a fantastic experience. Service can be a bit slow if it gets busy but the wait is well worth it.

Can't fault it, best Indian food I have ever had, if what you want isn't on the menu, just ask and it will be made for you. The place is always spotless and staff so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Portions are big, all ingredients fresh and meat so very tender, a perfect meal out, and when ordering a delivery there's no long wait and the food is still piping hot when it arrives.

Really good food but place smelt of damp so not very Pleasant

Had this recommended to me by a friend who visits India a lot and is a vegetarian. Panacea don't just offer Vegetarian options, they offer Vegetarian Specialities which are either all plant based, use Quorn, or Paneer. I had the Quorn Clay Pot with the Sizzling Rice and it was packed with flavour. The Quorn itself was very tasty since it had been marinated and cooked in spices. And excellent meat free option for any Indian food fan in the area,
