Lovely welcoming place . Lovely home cooked food cooked to your liking . Polite staff x no pressure to purchase . Great to meet friends in warm environment

We had my daughters baby shower at Palms and all I can say is that it wad absolutely wonderful!. The food was fresh and tasty, the room was decorated by the owners and looked beautiful and the service was second to none. Definite value for money and I would certainly use them again. Thank you for making the day extra special!

Fantastic three course lunch the tomato soup was lovely the lamb shank was so tender four veg three kind of potatoes stuffing Yorkshire pudding all cooked to perfection and a banana showboat feeling stuffed but enjoyed every mouth full and I am a very picky person the cook Gary did a fantastic meal and deana was a perfect host thank you xxxxx

From our first meeting with Gary and Deanna we knew we had chosen the right venue for our celebration.Both Gary and Deanna spent time with us to help us choose the menu the decorations seating plan etc The food on the day was delicious and beautifully presented Would recommend this venue 100%

I've only visited once for tea and cake but found the service friendly and reasonable prices. The cake selection was a bit disappointing in terms of variety and aesthetics on the day but not sure if I just timed my visit badly or if they don't have too many cakes to avoid waste.They were obviously preparing for a Sunday lunch and that looked / smelled good and I saw others having breakfasts which also looked good too.I'll definitely be back for another visit soon.

Made to feel welcome, good food at a good price, service great. Recommend to all. Pleasant atmosphere, and no annoying background music.

What an amazing place. Love the food at the Bistro,good home cooked food and plenty of it. The owners are so lovely too. This is a great add to Kirkby in Ashield. They also have a bar so you can have a glass of wine with their fab fab. My Husband hired out the whole room for his Birthday and we wasn't dissapointed

Really Cosy Cafe.. nice welcome.. great Christmas Window. Food was super . Yorkshire Tea served & the lady warmed by chocolate cake & served it with double cream. Lots of events & choice..Am taking my mum to the Senior Citizen lunch with Music Playing.. A Great Place to stop by if in the area. Lovely friendly lady in charge ..

Me, the girlfriend and her family went for steak night, and what a night, Superb food and fantastic prices, scrumptious and juicy steak. I had breaded garlic mushrooms to start, with came with side salad, a sauce and slice of garlic bread, followed by sirloin steak, cooked to perfection and piping hot with chips and peas. then banana split with ice cream. Can not fault the food, prices and staff were so inviting and courteous. I shall definitely be visiting again....

Heard about their steak night and thought we would give it a go. We were not disappointed, from the homemade tomato soup to the main course of steak, crispy fresh side salad, portobello mushroom, fries and peas with optional peppercorn sauce, followed by an impressive cheese board topped off with an espresso. The hosts are warm and welcoming and with 20 covers you get an intimate and cozy experience. Highly recommended.

Just what we needed. Food cooked with care and s warm welcome. What more would you want? We need more local places cooking good home style food rather than cheap commercial brands!

Another fabulous night at the bistro, had french night a couple of weeks ago, which was fantastic so booked for steak night just as fantastic, excellent fresh cooked food, brilliant service couldn’t ask for more. Been for breakfast a few times as well and just as good. Don’t have a license so take your own wine etc. You won’t regret going. Italian night next can’t wait.

Wow, what a little gem of place. We visited this lovely bistro for a family party. The fresh, home cooked food was perfect, from the presentation to the taste. The staff were very polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for somewhere to have a small family gathering or a romantic meal for two, then this is definitely the place. I will certainly be returning and recommending to friends.

Real food ,what a treat.after taking a wrong turn I found myself opposite palms bistro.i parked and went in.i noticed cottage pie on a specials blackboard.thata what I ordered it was amazing.i thought I had finished when I saw what I thought was my favourite eggs benedict go to the table next to me.of course I had to have it,it was wonderful.thank you

My family visited Palms Bistro on an Italian meal night. What great efficient service we endured.The host as well as the other guests were really friendly. The three course meal was superb in particular the sirloin steak, whom those who chose it all agreed. It was a very enjoyable evening with a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend a visit to this gem of a place .

Really nice full English, good quality ingredients. Really friendly service as well. Drop in, it's the best eat-in breakfast in the area.

First time we have visited,popped in for coffee,ended up having breakfast,partner had full english,really enjoyed very tasty the only thing missing was black pudding,I only wanted scrambled egg,bacon and toast even though it wasnt on the menu they obliged,warm friendly welcome by staff,i would have given it five out of five as there are not many places were you can take dogs and even they are made welcome on the terrace at the front of the Bistro,will be back and may even try a themed night.

Been popping in here weekly for the past six months. Always a pleasure too, with good food and the friendliest of service. Try it, and enjoy !

Called in here with my dog while out on our walk. Lovely friendly service! They made us most welcome even though I only had a cuppa and a sausage for the dog! They made a real fuss of Maggie and provided fresh water for her. I will definitely be going back there! Thank you for making us welcome!

Having drove past a few times decided to drop in and give it a try. Was met by the owner who was very friendly and took my order is decided for Full English breakfast whithis freshly made coffee. While waiting I took a look and the different theme nights. They were doing like steak and curry nights along with a posh Father's Day breakfast which caught my Eye.Well my breakfast arrived it was a good choice consisted of Excellent Quality of Bacon and Sausage Mushrooms 2 eggs with Tomotoes and beans along with 2 Slices of Toast.Well worth the money and definitely recommend it to others and will be returning.

I really like this place, good honest food, great friendly service. The only time where I have been to a restaurant and they have turned down a big tip. They even surprised our party by giving us a whole load of delicious home made cakes for a birthday, really made you feel welcome, good honest folk serving good honest food within a nice environment, with no pretence. No problem parking will return. It is bring your own bottle place FYI.

Good food, attentive service, good value, no licence to serve alcohol but you can take your own wine. Nice décor, nothing to complain about and will visit again.

Deanna and Gary the propriotors made us very welcome. Food was lovely home cooked. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor. It is nice to feel your custom is valued and a rare thing in this day and age.

After a few visits now, you really do get a family feel about Palms. They go above a beyond what you can ask, to every little detail.

A great little cosy place with homemade food, great cake and a fabulous full English breakfast! Great value for money and lovely owners who make you feel welcome throughout your visit. They cannot do enough for you!

Lovely breakfasts. Really clean and comfortable place to come in from the cold. Cooked breakfasts and my daughter had the healthy porridge option!

We have dined here now a few times and always been very warmly welcomed by the very kind owners Deanna and Gary.
